Great Toy
I read all the previous reviews and I was concerned about things falling off the castle.However, the only thing that comes apart is the attachable heart and sometimes one side of the hot air balloon which is easy to attach by an adult.I have a 2 1/2 year old and she is not destructive and she LOVES this toy.I think you should disregard all the negative reviews and PURCHASE this toy.I have not regretted it in the month we have had it.The Dance Studio is great, too.
If your child loves My Little Pony then, you HAVE to BUY the CASTLE.

I have to give this castle an A + for how it looks.It is just plain cute!The castle comes with some very fun playing pieces, flower pot, kitchen sink that the ponies can open with their magnetic hooves, and, plates and forks that are fun.Cute design.The poor aspects of this toy are: It is poorly manufactured and I was close to taking it back until I decided to super glue the pieces on.After that, I was much more satisfied with the overall product.We threw out the crown - piece of junk that you couldn't wear anyway and the hot air balloon was tossed because it was "tired" looking but I kept the basket part the balloon went on so the ponies could stand on top of the castle.We have a little bit of difficulty getting the music to play when the pony steps on the platform and the stickers were out of control!I am hesitant to buy my little pony playsets, but we love the quality of the ponies themselves and my daugher who is 4 and I have spent a lot of time braiding the ponies hair and brushing them to look cute!Should have bought more ponies instead of the castle... ... I bought this set for my five year old daughter.She absolute loves them.She carries them around in their little tin cases. They are just the perfect size for a small toy to take on the go. You can't tell in the picture but the heads move. Only problem with them is that I had them less than a week and one of the heads popped off.But is was easily fixable. Really cute set!!!!
I just purchased this item through Amazon.com and got it in two days!My daughters, 3 and 5 could not wait for me to open it.It is the cutest toy.First we opened Lila and the carriage.Then we opened the Enchanted Forest play set and wow was it nice.It's even better than displayed.All of the animals can fit on the swing and it has plates, saucers, forks, spoons, cups, play food and more.I even had fun playing with it.I wish the swing was a little longer but it's the perfect size for the animals or a small "kelly size" barbie.Overall this toy is adorable.And the price was amazing.Just the carriage and Lila alone can cost over $30.

Very cheaply made - Everything falls apart
My child received this toy for Christmas last year.The dolls will not stay on the runway.The toy will not stay together.There is always something falling off.I e-mailed the company about how cheap this product was and they told me to return it in the original package.The package was thrown away on Christmas morning.They told me there wasn't anything they could do.My daughter was very disappointed in the toy and became when the toy kept started falling apart.It is not in peices in her closet.

The Formal Funk Runway is Okay
This toy DOES fall apart alhe time, but I still play with it a lot.
The good things about this toy:
It comes with a pretty Nevra doll.
The dolls can walk on the runway.
It also has a makeup room, smoothie bar, and dressing room.
It has lights on the runway and back of the smoothie bar.
You an plug it into the limosine and play music on it.
It comes with 3 chairs.
The bad things:
It comes with a lot of little makeup, and when you put it all onhe helf the shelf looks too messy.
The shelf always falls off and the makeup goes flying.
The dolls hands brush against the speakers on the runway and they fall over.
There are really not very many bad things about this toy. Nevra did not come with the purple skirt shown on the box, but she has a pretty black shirt, denim pants, a furry white jacket, a black hat, and two pairs of boots. She's the first Nevra doll I got, and she's the only one I have right now. Nevra is pretty. She has tan skin, brown hair, and blue eyes. If you just look at the pictures of Nevra and Fianna, they look a lot like Yasmin, but the dolls look a lot different. This is a fun toy and any Bratz doll with holes in their feet can go on the runway. (Only older Bratz dolls don't have the holes. They can wear Nevra's extra pair of boots.)

Too many small pieces
I like the Bratz and find it nice to see Barbie get some compition however the pieces to these dolls are so much smaller than Barbie pieces.This runway is hard to store when not being played with.I bumped it with my foot while putting other things away and it fell apart (it didn't break) and had to be reassembled which is a pain.Other than that my daughter enjoys it.I, as a mom, think it is a pain.

three concerns otherwise great barn
My 8 year old horse crazy daughter got this barn from Santa for Christmas. Unfortunately, it arrived from the "North Pole" in a huge box on my front porch clearly labelled in large letters on all sides as to the contents and she is a good reader. Also the glue from the labels is impossible to remove and the barn has a habit of flying open when you try to carry it spilling horses and gates out everywhere because there is no latch to keep it folded. Despite these concerns, my daughter LOVES it and I've barely seen her since Christmas because she's had her head stuck in the barn caring for all her horses in her own happy little world.

Cooleo!
THis si so cool! Although I did not get it from amazon, I got it from Santa, but still! Its so cool! It has a bunch of doors, some that slide,and fit breyer perfecttly! That's what I use mine for! It comes with a nic fence that works for breyer!

The Folding Horse Stable
The folding horse stable is very cozy for your model horses and it is very easy to carry in each stall it can fit two horses on is a small stall the other is as big as a Foaling Barn stall(Foaling barn is a stall where female horses have there babies). Fun toy, bad tote design
This is a very cute playset, and my daughter really enjoys it (she's 3), but my problem with it, other than the TEENY TINY accessories, is that the backpack has a hole on the front for the pony's head to stick out, which also lets those itty bitty accessories fall out!You need to keep everything in a ziploc bag to keep from losing the little pieces!

Cute and satisfying!
This is such a wonderful gift.Great for all little girl.But one problem are the holes in the bag.The solution to that is put tape of plastic rap over it.Yes,it does something to the appearance but who cares?...Its very amusing and fun for older and younger children and also collectors....

Lovely Ponies
I think these ponies are absolutly adorable, expecially Strawberry Swirl. She is my favourite pony of all. Ive seen reviews for the My Little Pony celebration castle, and they say it's NOT very durable, but those are just people that rush and don't take their time and get frustrated. I think it's a lovely castle. And, if you give a three-year-old a castle like that it's bound to get broken. By the way i'm almost 12-years-old.

Beautiful!
I bought this set because I wanted Serendipity but hadn't been able to find her in stores.When I received the ponies, I saw that Strawberry Swirl was lovely as well.I love Serendipity's soft colors and pose.It's wonderful that Hasbro has brought back My Little Pony because I collected them when I was a kid but threw them away when I got older.It's great that I have a second chance to collect these wonderful, cute toys and I definitely will not be getting rid of these someday!

Magnetic party bus
My six and four year old girls love the magnetic polly figures the best.They have just about every polly available but they usually go for the magnetic ones first.We keep hoping more will be made available.

Pollys OK
I really like like pollys and all, it's just they are hard to get into the seats. Also their heads fall off pretty easy. Overall it is a good toy for kids to play with.

Cute toy, but the stretchy dolls can be torn apart easily
This has been a fun toy for my daughter.I selected it because these Polly Pockets can't change their clothes.I love the idea of the magnets in their hands and feet and all of the furniture so they stay with the set better.They are very different from the ordinary Polly but it is too easy to pull their arms and legs and heads off.A friend of my daughter's have destroyed half of the dolls in this way.You can superglue them back together, but it would be nicer if they weren't so easy to pull them apart. ... Daughter loves this salon
This was $10 at our local dollar store.My 2 yo daughter received this for Christmas as well as the Celebration Castle.She loves both of them very much.The Salon is nice because it is small & portable.My daugher just stuffs it full of ponies & carries it around with her.A good deal at $10.

not made well
I bought this toy based on the reviews from other people.It looks really cute in the package, but the accessories are made cheaply.The brushes don't stay in place.The closet rod keeps coming off if you barely bump it.My daughter played with it all of 10 minutes and then was bored because there was so little to do with it.Plus, the hair dryer/sink didn't work very well.The hair dryer kept getting caught.Save your money on this one.On the positive side, the pony is very cute and your kids can use their imagination with the pony all sorts of places. ... I am twelve years old and my little brother bought me this for my birthday[how sweet is that?:)] Polly's outfits are cute but her hair is ver annoying if you get it wet. It is nearly impossible to buckle the seatbelts so don't even try. I love the little island. Be careful because Polly's pink shoes always fall off. The only thinh I don't like is the food tray. The cardboard dinner trays are very lame and not very fun. Great toy if your child likes dolls or wants to be a piolet some day.:)

what was mattel thinkig???

SO HORRIBLE!

A lot of pink plastic and not a lot of fun
My daughter desparately wanted this last Christmas and so it goes we ordered it as there was no local store who carried it.None of the castle "tops" lock into place so they keep falling off.The swing worked about 1 hour and has since found it's place laying on the floor next to the castle. The toy was played with approximately 4 times since last Christmas. My 3 year old (at the time) was not at all impressed.For the money, you would be better off getting ANYTHING from Melissa & Doug collection.

a Care Bear fan fav for almost a year!
We bought the Care Bears Castle for our almost four-year-old daughter for Christmas last year.She LOVES this toy, and still plays with it several times a week, even though she's had it for almost a year!!She loves the sounds that it makes, and we've bought her the little sets you can buy to go with it!My ONLY complaint is that we've never really been able to get the swing to stay put!!I've read that same complaint from many others, so I'm not sure what's up with that!We've pretty much just given up on the swing!The castle tops do just sit atop the castle, which is kind of cumbersome when I'm carrying it from one room to another for her, but it's really not that big of a deal.She likes to put the tops on anyway!Overall, I would say that any child who is a Care Bears fan will thoroughly enjoy this toy...just as my little Care Bear fan has for almost a year now!!And for the record, despite other reviews, I disagree with the fact that it looks or appears cheap, and we've had the same batteries in it since we bought it and they are still working!!!Invest the money...your child will LOVE it!!!! ... Great toy
My four year old daughter got this toy for her birthday.It required very little set up and assembly.My daughter has had lots of fun.The only negative is only one of the disks has a magnetic spot to enable to ponies to dance it would be nice if all three disks on the dance floor could enable the ponies to twirl and dance.But this has not deterred the great imaginative play this toy has sparked.

This is great!
I got this toy for Christmas and I absoulutly LOVE it! Unlike what other people say, it dosn't break for me. It closes up nicely, too and nothing falls apart. I love this! The only thing I don't like is that the "changing room" is too small for the pony to fit in, so you have to move the furniture so the pony will fit. Overall, I LOVE this!

Great addition to pony collection - Easy to store
This toy arrived almost completely ASSEMBLED!Even the stickers were attached!The best part about this toy (from a parent's perspective) is that it all fits neatly inside and you clip the top shut.It has a carry strap for taking on visits to Grandmas.The music is loud enough for play but not too loud and it plays more than one song.The magnets really hold the ponies on the dance circles very tightly.Even baby ponies can dance.If you are only buying one, I recommend this over the amusement park with ferris wheel.This holds together and the amusement park falls into several peices and is very difficult to store.My daughers love the music and motion of the Dance Studio. ... One of many great my scene products

I saw this toy in stores...
It's actually not as bad as it looks. Barbie is quite pretty w/ long blonde hair and a pretty cool outfit. Ellis is also nice. So what if it's Ellis and Barbie?? If i had this toy, i would just pretend that Ellis is River. The car is very nice, looks durable enough--It has lepard printed seats! The car is cool and so are the dolls, 5 stars!

A great interactive, affordable & portable toy
My almost-5 year old twin daughters each received a Sweet Streets house for Christmas.The one who got this hotel has fond memories of our family reunion and staying in a hotel with a pool. This toy has been a delight for her to play with.In my opinion, it is a perfect "between-age kid" toy, as my girls arebeyond baby dolls and not yet into the Barbie scene (I'm trying to hold off on that as long as I can!).The furniture is sturdy and has some very nice detail (the breakfast tray has food, a coffee caraf and a newspaper) and the pool with slide and the working elevator are terrific.The fact that the entire set folds up into itself and can be carried over to play with their cousin who also has a SS Townhouse is marvelous.For the price, this item has great play value and a collection can be added to with all the other nifty houses & shops without much expense.

Great Toy!!
I bought this toy for my daughter's second birthday and she loves it. She has named all the people that come with the Hotel after family members and friends.She is a very active toddler but this toy keeps her attention for a long time.It is very durable and compact. She has dropped it down the stairs and it is still in perfect condition.

My Little Pony
Both these ponies, are two of the cutest you could have. All the MLP's are cute, and their accessories are a lot of fun, with the ponies of course. MLP's make wonderful friends, and teach children good things. Bumblesweet is the orange pony, and Daisy Jo is the purple one. I also recommend getting, Fluttershy, Sew-In-Sew, Forsythia, Merriweather, Strawberry Swirl, Sependity, and I could go on and on. There is another pony I have, called Golden Delicious that I also recommend. Enjoy MLP lovers! :-D

Bumblesweet is not ugly
To the two previous reviewers, you have some growing up to do.You obviously have a problem with the new My Little Pony line. If you don't like them, don't buy them. It's that simple. The new ponies aren't wastes of money either. Bumblesweet is not ugly. She is one of the most beautiful ponies, and I am not ashamed to say it. I am proud to own her, along with the other ponies I have. I love Daisyjo as well. She is incredibly gorgeous.

In addition, the reviewers who see the Dance Studio, Amusement Park, Cafe, Salon, and Castle as pieces of junk are crazy. They just want to rush to get their children playing with them and won't bother to read the instructions on how to operate them properly and get the full benefit of the toys. The same goes for the ones who think the Loop-de-La and Glitter Glide playsets are statues on wheels. Those reviewers have only themselves to blame. I believe all the playsets are wonderful and lovely. I own the Dance Studio, Cafe, and Salon, and they have never fallen apart on me. All this comes from a devoted My Little Pony fan.

And Steven is bound to be a good friend for some time to come as long as he keeps getting access to accessories such as these. I agree with the person who talked about cardboard food. HELLO!! The toy's name is even Polly Pocket perfect picnic playset.Not so perfect if you are eating cardboard food. Anyhow, to the person who said "these little bratz are great" etc, etc, THESE ARE NOT LITTLE BRATZ! These are Polly Pockets. Duh.

Ok, first things first. Read the suggested age limit!!!!! That is put their for a reason!!!!! Before I tell the pros and cons of this doll I would like to make something clear:
This doll is really great! I love it and I have read every single review on this GREAT product!! Those of you who are worried about this product get a grip! If you disagree with this product get on the show Nanny 911. That is for people who are new with kids and have problems DEALING WITH THEM!!!!!
This product is good for teaching kids about the "birds and the bees." But consider your child's age level!! Ages 1-3 should NOT have this product!! Ages 4-6 only need a small amount of info, such as, "Midge goes to the hospital and the doctor takes the baby out, than Midge comes home." THAT IS ALL THE INFO THEY NEED OR WANT!!!!! YOU DO NOT NEED TO EXPLAIN ABOUT "THE BIRDS AND THE BEES YET!" Ages 7-9 can take more. Increase the info u give by the age of the child.
I am sorry if I sound mean but you should be surprised on the amount of people out there who have kids without knowing how to deal with them, which makes me very mad! TAKE PARENTING CLASSES BEFORE YOU HAVE KIDS OR AT LEAST CRACK OPEN A PARENTING BOOK!!!! IF YOU ALREADY HAVE KIDS YOU CAN STILL LEARN MORE!!!
Now about this product.... It is really great! The baby is very cute and Midge is very pretty. She has a WEDDING ring on that will not fall off. She is quite durable with gentle handling (Once again read the age limit!) and she has some small pieces. The crib is clever how it changes into a changng table and the whole set is great! Buy this product if you don't already have it!!!!
Back to where I'm angry. Do you cover your child's eyes when you see a pregnant woman? Do you simply say she is fat? I don't know about you,but I don't like being called fat. If you want to go against something go against Bratz, My Scenes, and those Cali Barbie things! Those are nasty looking and promote midriff tops and other bad things that are not for children.

NOTE:I bought this doll without the belly piece.

Midge is quite an original doll.She has long, light orange hair with two small braids in the front that are fixed together in the back with a plastic rubber band.Pieces of hair start to fuzz and come out around the braids the more you play with the doll, but it's no big deal unless you're a perfectionist.Midge has a round face with kind blue eyes, lots of freckles, and a warm, motherly smile.Her dress is floral and can be used as a maternity dress or a nightgown after she's had the baby.Of course, I lost her shoes not too long after purchasing her, but I could care less, because I never put shoes on my dolls when I'm playing with them anyway.

The baby Nikki is more posable then the Krissy doll I own.Although she is supposed to be a girl, she doesn't have long eyelashes and pink lips, so she can be used as a boy, too.

The pink and purple crib for the baby is quite unique!It can be a high crib, low crib, or if turned over, a changing table.The yellow bath tub included is also decent, but it took me a while to figure out what it was at first.Even though they were cute, the baby toys were tiny and easy to lose.

Overall, I would say this is a very good set.I still play with Midge very often, and I've had her for over a year.I'd say if you like to make your Barbie have a baby or baby sister, this would be a very good buy for you. ... Read more
