5-0 out of 5 stars armageddon rocks!
This is a game that's hard to describe. You control a bunch of worms who try to kill your opponent's worms. The game was given an editor's choice award by Electronic Gaming Monthly in the January 2000 issue. The best part of the game is using "sheep bombs" which hop around untill they blow up.

4-0 out of 5 stars Hilarious Gameplay
I am not going to claim to be a fan of turn-based strategy games, or for that matter, real-time strategy games either. They've never appealed to me.But one day I read a review of this game in Electronic Gaming Monthly, and I got curious.A good friend of mine had recently purchased it on PC, and after playing it at his house I quicklsy saw what the folks at EGM were so excited about.
This game is just brilliant. It's a turn-based strategy game in which two, three or four teams of worms wage a war on eachother on an unlimited supply of randomly generated terrain, and annihilate eachother using a wide array of clever and unique weapons. The gameplay doesn't get much funnier than in this game.
The only reason I took a star off is that I feel this game loses some of it's appeal if you don't play it with at least one friend.

Editorial Review

Rock out with this innovative sequel to the hip-hop rhythm game Parappa the Rapper. This time the action centers around Lammy, a grunge guitar-playing lamb with her own rock band. Lammy is late for her latest performance with Milkcan, the band she fronts with kooky sidekicks Katy Kat and Masan. To get to the gig, Lammy must successfully strum her guitar through seven cartoon levels. Each level contains a unique music video that requires superior guitar-playing skills. Lammy must master multiple styles of music, including heavy metal, pop, and punk. Superior musicians will be rewarded with a special remix mode, which adds a special rap by well-known game character Parappa.

With unique animation from acclaimed cartoonist Rodney Alan Greenblatt and catchy tunes from Masaya Matsuura, Um Jammer Lammy is one of the most innovative games to ever appear on the PlayStation. --Brett Atwood

This was the worst game ever I give it a thump down unlast you what to send your money Don't buy this game!!(...)

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun, great game!
Great semi-sequel to Parappa. It developed on it.I loved the fact that you could play different versions of the songs as parappa, and that you could change the sounds of the guitar. The music in this one is great, I find myself humming it all the time.Out of all the Parappa series games, it has the greatest variety, and therefore the greatest replayability.Definately worth a look!

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent! But a note to PS2 Owners...
This game was beyond excellent, I'm 32 and I love playing this.I've pulled it out at family gatherings and my cousins (ages 10-32) have a blast!Definately more challenging than Parappa, but also more fun in a lot of ways.
NOTE: For PS2 owners, buy a PS1 memory card, your PS2 will take it and you can only save PS1 games on a PS1 memory card.I usually keep one of each in the PS2 ports, since it doesn't matter where the card is to use it. ... Read more

Demolition Racer is the perfect antidote for "civilized"racing games. If shaving seconds off your lap times in games likeGran Turismo 2 is just too darn frustrating, then DemolitionRacer serves up a heaping helping of catharsis. The object of thisgame is not only to win the race, but to destroy the other racecars onthe way to victory.

Unlike the weapons-oriented auto combat games, such as Vigilante8 and Twisted Metal, your only weapon here is that physicsformula you learned in high school: force equals mass timesacceleration. And what a wonderfully practical application of thatformula Demolition Racer provides. Being the first at the finishline doesn't guarantee a win, because the final score comes from aformula that multiplies your race ranking with damage points that areinflicted on other cars. And the crashes don't seem canned: cars twist, roll, and spin, catching fire here and losing panels there.

The sheer irresponsibility of the game makes it exciting at first. After more play, players will appreciate the track design, the carphysics, the paint shop, and the seemingly endless variety of gameplaymodes. If you've grown tired of racing games, Demolition Raceris just what the doctor ordered. --Jeff Young

Pros:

  • Crash and smash 15 other cars on a racetrack or in a demolitionarena
  • Excellent control scheme uses one analog stick for steering and theother as a throttle

Cons:

  • All of your other race games will seem blasé after playingthis one

5-0 out of 5 stars If You Have 2 Racing Games, This Should Be One
This game is SO good, for SO many reasons, it's hard to know where to start...Let's start with 1)The Car: pretty much reacts like you'd expect, no surprises. 2)The tracks: While the layout of each track is easy to memorize, there are plenty of things to stop you from lapping the field. Given these two things, you can really get lost in the actual gameplay...It's a race, so winning is good, the higher you finish the more points. Hitting cars gives you points-how you hit them, how hard, what happens after you hit them all play a role. There are "power-ups"like a quest game that include (of course) points as well as repair for your car. Oh yeah, hitting hurts and it's hard to win if you don't finish. Crashing & power-up points X finishing place points = Total. Since place points are small and crash points can be very high, there's a nice balance between wanting to win & wanting to crash...Crash all you want, but if only multiplied by 5 not so good-Or you could win by avoiding all crashes, and multiply 100 by squat...In closing, if have even one precision based, contact-discouraging, stopwatch driven game, you GOTTA get this one to stay sane

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Game but not the best racer for the Playstation!
Demolition Racer is quite similar to the Destruction Derby gamespreviously released for the Playstation. Its different modes of play makesthis game stand out from the previous DD games and gives Demolition Racerthe ultimate replay value.

Each car handles differently but seems tocontrol near perfectly when using Dual Shock Analog Controller.Youroverall objectives in the league modes is to finish first and to score themost points. What can be better than slamming into the car in front of youand taking them out of the race? You will find yourself trying to scoremore and more points by wiping out the competion. This is a very funaspect of this game.

There are a nice variety of tracks and cars to chosefrom and the different modes of play breaks up any repetition. The Arenamode in this game is nearly identical to the Bowl levels in DestructionDerby 1 and 2, however instead of getting to visit the Bowl at the end ofeach level, the entire levels of play have you moving from one bowl to thenext (if you survive.) It is a really great mode of play, trying to surviveand destroy the competition in a rounded bowl arena. Its basically kill orbe killed.

Overall, Demolition Racer is a blast to play and the replayvalue will have you coming back for more. Its a fun game, and at 20 bucks, its a steal!

Based on the classic 1980s arcade game, Galaga will have players once again blasting wave after wave of aliens as a lone starfighter pilot. The alien invaders have already destroyed the rest of the fleet, and it is now up to you to stop their advance towards Earth. While the game is set in a 3-D universe, players can still choose the classic top-down view, as well as behind-the-ship and side-scrolling views. There are 10 levels, each containing different challenges and bonus rounds. During the course of the game, players can collect new weapons to add to their arsenal, including aliens. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars NOT a classic version!
...I immediately started playing but then realized this is a joke of a video game. I was looking for a replica of the arcade version from the 1980s but this game had nothing of that sort. I mean, they could at least put in some classic arcade version if they beat the game(if you ever do)! Plus, some of the silly little mode things are totally impossible to hit the dang aliens. The only reason I didn't give this game a big fat 1 is the bonus stages can sometimes be sort of fun and after you get off the first world thing, the second place has an interesting background. Hasbro Interactive should be ashamed of this poor attempt to take a classic video game and turn it into a fun game. This is not worth the money. If you see any good reviews about this game, I suggest you pretend they aren't even there because this game just plain STINKS!!!

1-0 out of 5 stars It ain't what you think
I like others was hoping for the original arcade game simply available on the PS2.
Alas this was not to be.
I guess it is an ok game, but they really should have given it other name.

1-0 out of 5 stars A [bad], shoot 'em up game
What's wrong with Galaga: DE? The music is great, but the game is not. The stage begins with a classic angle, followed by a side angle and end it with a pilot angle that is hard to shoot from, but easy to kill a swarm. There's no way you can save the game in progress after you turn it off, why?, because you can use up all 3 lives to continue the game. The classic Galaga is better! ... Read more

Editorial Review

While Star Trek: Invasion never quite reaches the lofty heightsof the Colony Wars games, it's still worth a look even if you're not a green-blooded trekker.

Set in the time line of the Next Generation TV and film series, Invasion has you cast in the role of a fighter pilot destined for a big part in the upcoming war against the Earth-bound Borg. The Borg is not the only Trek race to show up in here; the Cardassians, Klingons, and Bajorans are all along, too. Speaking of the Trek gang, actors Michael Dorn as Worf and Patrick Stewart as Captain Picard contribute good voice acting to an all-around solid production.

The visuals in Invasion are uniformly sharp and show an attention to detail that almost makes the old PlayStation beg for mercy. The planets, the ships, the explosions (especially the explosions!) are topnotch. The music, however, is painfully repetitive. Disturbingly, the controls in Invasion are way too sensitive for all but the most die-hard space jockeys. The Valkyrie space fighters often make too wide a turn, resulting in constant misfires and untimely deaths.

Perhaps because it is set in the more politically correct universe of Star Trek, Invasion does lack the Colony Wars games' level of intense, gritty combat, and its story isn't nearly as engaging. Yet, for a laser blast-filled journey into the final frontier, it's still a fun ride. --Mark Brooks

Pros:

  • Lovely graphics push the PlayStation to its limits
  • Excellent voice acting all around
  • Easy to get into
Cons:
  • Awkward controls
  • Light story line doesn't compete with standout games in this genre
  • Too few missions

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Star Trek Game!
They usually make Star Trek games for computers, I'm glad they made this one for PS1. It's a great fighter pilot type game. It's also cool how they included the voices of Patrick Stewart and Michael Dorn!

4-0 out of 5 stars a much better game thanSS1
THIS GAME IS DA BOMB!!!!IT HAS A KILLER SOUNDTRACK AND IT'S MUCH BETTER THAN STREETSK8ER 1.AND IT HAS A SKATEPARK EDITOR WHICH IS ALSO VERY COOL.AND THE LEVELS R MUCH MUCH MORE BIGER AND WIDER.THE LOW THING ABOUT IT IS THAT ITS JUST TOO EASY!!!!,I MEAN,I BEAT THE GAME IN 1 DAY!!AND COMBOS ARE JUST TOO HARD TO LAND.BUT EVERYTHING ELSE IS NICE.IF U ARE GOING TO GET 2 GAMES.GET STREETSK8ER2,AND THPS2,DON'T BUY THPS,IT IS OLD AND DOESN'T HAVE AS MUCH MOVES.THATS ALL FOR ME,PEACE OUT.

3-0 out of 5 stars Nothing like the real thing.
Given that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is bound to be rented out at your local video store, and always sold out at retail outlets, and never *ever*available used, this game can give you a temporary skateboarding fix.Itappears to use the same engine as Pro Skater, with a similar look and feelto both games.

The difference is in the details.Tony Hawk lets youstring together hundreds of moves to make wicked combos.Street Skaterseems to have about three moves per character.TH requires real skill tobe land tricks, SS lets you land flat on your face and still pull off atrick.TH's control configurations are more intuitive -- maybe it'sbecause I learned them first, but it seems like SS is harder to control. Street Skater's levels are massive, like TH's, but since each level istimed and has a linear progression you have to make from start to finish,it's not easy to explore.

The only plus on SS' side is that it has askate park editor, which is fun to play around with. But I found myselfwishing I could create a park and skate it with Tony instead of SS fourcharacters, and TH2 is coming soon and features a better editor.

Like Isaid, SS is a temporary fix. You'll only go through its three levels somany times before you'll crave more levels, more space, more goals, morecharacters, and better play control, and you'll find yourself getting TonyHawk for whatever price you can.

3-0 out of 5 stars good game for the most part
this game graphically and in many other ways is better than Street Sk8er, the levels are mcuh better and you have to work at the moves instead of pressing "X". however, whoever made this game must be a poser cos what once had good punk music now has lamemetal music. notsomething that you'd want to skate to. how many other skating games do youplay that skate to Static-X and Deftones?especially when the first onehad all punk bands. the music was what Street Sk8er had going for it themost. also, the announcer on this game is 10 times more annoying than thefirst one. so, aside from all that, it is a good game but there are muchbetter games out there for us skate punks such as grind session, tony hawk, and some others that i have yet to check out. ... I found this game to be the most challenging of all the ones we've played. It wasn't over too quickly as well. It starts off easy and gradually gets more difficult. You don't get bored. Some levels can be frustrating when they get hard but if you persevere it's worth it! The graphics are excellent and the game is never boring.
However, I do have to do most of it for my 5 year old as it's too hard for her, but she loves to sit back and watch me and then she'll try the less hard parts.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great kids game
If you have kids who love the Rugrats then this is the game for them.It has all their favorite characters and the character voices sound the same as if they were watching tv.It's basically a take off of the Rugrats in Paris movie and you help the characters find things to open up the next level, etc.Typical game styling as other games but with the Rugrats characters.

If there are Rugrat fans in your house they will love this game.My daughter has had this game for a while (1-1/2 years or maybe even more) and she still loves the game as she is a big Rugrats fan!

2-0 out of 5 stars Rugrats in Paris
It's pretty good but two of the games are IMPOSSIBLE! So don't bother going into OOey Gooey World to get your golden tickets. I got mine with the other games and the 4 puzzles(collect 120 red tickets-30 for each) and play those. Now this game is supposed to sell to the 4 to seven year olds, but many of the games are too hard for them. I can't even do the OOey Gooey world games and I'm an adult. I'd say they missed the boat on this game.

5-0 out of 5 stars All your carnival favorites in one game....
This game is entirely too much fun.The goal is to save the princess but first you have to collect sixteen gold tickets to buy this special helmet. When you play each game and beat it the first time, you will get a gold ticket.Any time after that you will get 5 red ones. You trade the red tickets in for things such as puzzle pieces, reptar baseball, reptar football, reptar mug, or a spy scope. These items help you unlock other games scattered around the five lands which include:
the main entrance, ooey-gooey land, reptar island, the princess theatre, and a putt-putt place. The gift shop where you cash in your tickets and a baseball throw is at the parks main entrance.Ooey-gooey land has two bumper-car-like water games. You ride through a murky looking cave and collect balloons or turn on musical statues.Reptar island has 3 different bumper car games and a ski-ball throw that is pretty challenging because some days these kids just can't throw.Other games include Chuckie Chan, a whack-a-ninja game, a frog game similar to asteroids, toss your cookies target game, and some puzzles.I will admit that it would be nice to be able to change the character sometime in the middle of the adventure because they say the same thing over and over. The first few times it's funny and after that a little grating.Volume buttons fix this nicely unless your kids are playing too.:)They laugh endlessly especially when Phil says, "This is better than eating DIRT", or Tommy says "This looks like the inside of my diapy".Their favorite part though is getting on the monorail and picking the next destination and when the babies scratch their bottom because they've been standing still too long.I think the graphics were really cute but no not perfect. If you run into a corner, everything goes black, hmm kinda like for real.Anyway if you like carnivals, or just the thought of cashing in tickets this is for you. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Ever want to try your hand at making games? Now Agetec has delivered atimeless masterpiece that will help many gamers fulfill their dream ofconstructing a video game--albeit a role-playing game--from scratch.

With RPG Maker for the PlayStation, would-be game designers can finallycreate their own digital world. All you need is a PlayStation, a littleimagination, a lot of time, and you can create your own Final Fantasy,Ogre Battle, or Dragon Warrior adventure--sort of. It takes teamsof 50 to 100 people two to three years to design and create the RPGs that weplay today. If you think you've got the patience to do it on your own, then thisgame (or should we say set of tools) has a lot to offer.

Write, design, and control everything from the story line to dungeon designs, toorganizing and constructing the towns in your game. You can even choose itemlocations, weapons, and enemy hit-point totals. Such standard, modern-day RPGelements are all at your disposal here. For those who really want to go for allthe gusto, you can design and animate your own characters from scratch! Theanimation quality doesn't approach a Disney level, but at least the option isthere.

This isn't a plug-and-play type of title; it will take you quite some time justto figure out where you want to start. If you don't have the patience to play atraditional RPG to the finish, then you might want to pass on RPG Maker. For everyone else, there's no better place to start! --Todd Mowatt

4-0 out of 5 stars Decent
I picked this game up from my local hobby shop because I was bored.

Its pretty much what the title says, you can make your own RPGs.It easy to use once you get used to it and you can make some nice looking RPGs once you get used to the way it works. It comes witha sample game to show you how a game should work(or will).

Overall though it can become a little frustrating creating some maps.Theres a large selection of tiles that dont seem to be arranged in any particular order, you'll save yourself alot of time if you can find one of them PS1 mouses. I also recomend picking a keyboard, unless of course you like typing everything out by on screen keyboard.

The game dosnt have a whole lot of premade stuff, enough to make a short RPG, but if you going for a 10+ hour one then no.So luckly they gave you an ANIME creator, which let you create you own charcters and monsets(also tedious without a mouse). OF course if your like me you'll be a poor drawer and make some odd looking things.

Overall it not to bad, but if you have a PS2, and $20 I recomend to buy RPG Maker 2, it has 3D graphics and more in-depth editing. But w/e, it your choice.

I was a little concrened when I first bought this game.I had heard that it is very hard to understand, but I found it very easy!Reading the manuals and finding a good walkthrough site, such as www.gamefaqs.com, can make this game a cinch!Just be prepared to dedicate over 100 hours to your game to make it good. Also, it eats memory like it was nothing, so clean out a memory card before you buy it. ... Editorial Review

Many of the games in the budget-priced Greatest Hitsseries are showing their age, but Rayman's old-school 2-Dtechnology ironically gives it an edge in terms of longevity. This stillis one of the most beautiful, fun, and imaginative side-scrollingplatform jumping games ever released.

You control the now-famous Rayman, a strange character with no arms orlegs (although he has feet and hands) and a propeller on his head. Somemay look at this as just another game where players run around and jumpall the time, but the charming graphics and incredibly tight controlselevate Rayman into special territory. The difficulty level isjust right at the beginning, letting players get a feel for Rayman'sbasic moves. Later levels require more advanced tricks and precisejumps, but the game is never unfair--something few 2-D side-scrollinggames can claim. If you can get past the too-cute graphics and see themfor the lush, imaginative visuals they are, the gameplay should keep youhooked for days. --T. Byrl Baker

Pros:

  • Imaginative graphics and smooth animations
  • Tons of levels to explore
Cons:
  • 2-D confines can make things a little dull after hours of play

5-0 out of 5 stars Sidescrollers on the PS1 don't get much better than this!
Rayman is a classic game released in the Playstation's early years. And it's still a great game!

Gameplay:10/10:Sidescrolling joy! You are Rayman, an armless, legless, neckless thingy, who has to save his world after the evil Mr. Dark takes over it. You will need to free your caged friends in all of the huge worlds to get to Mr. Dark's layer. You also get powers, such as punching, helicopter, and more! You also fight tough bosses like Space Mama!

Challange:10/10: It's HARD! And only 5 continues! But here's a hint: If you have less than 3 continues, press up, down left, and right on the continue screen to get 10 extra continues!

Graphics: 10/10: They are colorful, and I mean COLORFUL! Bright, cartoonlike 2D graphics. The best of the PS's 2D graphics!

Sound: 9/10: It sounds great!

Music: 10/10: I love the music. My favorite tune is the music on certai levels on the Cave of Skops!

So if you have a PS, and are looking for a chalanging sidescroller, look no further!

5-0 out of 5 stars Good for its type
If you liked the old type of Sonic games on the Megadrive then you'll love this. This game is hard unless your talented at games like me. I gave this a five because of the grate impact on me as my first PS1 game with Crash 1. This is a 2d platformer(the way you move left or right)and I prefer it to Rayman 2 that is 3D(I do prefer 3D games to 2D).

5-0 out of 5 stars Rayman to the Rescue!
If you are bored, play RAYMAN!This is one of the best games I have everplayed on my playstation. There are 60 LEVELS and they get harder and harder. You have to try to free all the ELECTOONS and you can gain abilities on the way to the end. The stary is.......In RAYMAN's world, everyone/everything lived in peace together until one day a fearful thing happens and all the ELECTOONS(they keep the peace in Rayman's world)are caught and imprisoned and there are maniacs running around. 5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent football.
This is really excellent football. The graphics are a huge improvement, and the gameplay is fast and exciting. I really like the running control, as that is precise and effective. Gameday 98 is a great buy if you are into NFL football or just want a visual showpiece for the Playstation.

4-0 out of 5 stars GameDay 98 is a quality game.
This is the first of the GameDay series that I have bought and I was very impressed. The gameplay of it is fun and addicting. The intangibles of the game are also very good. It is not perfect though which is why I only gave it four stars. The graphics of the game are alright but the players are somewhat square and blocked out. There is also no announcer. Some phases of the game are very easy and others are very hard. An example of this is the HB sweep. Against most defenses it worked very well and the defense could not defend it. On the other hand, the passing was harder. The only bad thing about the player selection is that it is now outdated. Overall, this is a very good game that is a great buy for a great price.

5-0 out of 5 stars Gameday 98
Really fun because of competativeness and realism.I like the large selection of play patterns that you can run on offence and defence. It keeps you thinking. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Smurf This
What were they thinking when they made this. Okay okay I know it is a little kids game, but come on it was way too easy, I beat it in an hour. Although I got to say it was some what fun while it lasted and probably a game worth the used price but don't expect a lot of play time out of this one.

Editorial Review

Though 3-D action games abound on the PlayStation, none so far have starred everyone's favorite funny bunny--Bugs--until now. Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time features not only the same colorful animations and voices that made Looney Tunes famous, but plenty of gameplay variety as well.

The Lost in Time theme puts Bugs in control of a time machine, and he'll need to collect carrots to open up levels set in the Stone Age, the 1930s, on a pirate ship, and in a creepy mansion. All of Bugs' biggest rivals make cameos in this addictive game. There's Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam, Witch Hazel, and everyone's favorite Martian, Marvin. Bugs can grab things, throw objects, roll, and give foes a swift kick in the rump. He can even dive into holes and travel underground. Hard-core gamers may hop past this one, but arcade-action lovers won't tire of this game quickly. With puzzles, fun boss battles, and lots of humor, Lost in Time is worth a look. --Robb Guido

5-0 out of 5 stars well, personally...
I rented this game about 1-3 years ago at Blockbuster and personally I liked that one martian boss. I loved it! The Ice Age, The Stone Age, I loved it all! It may have bad graphics compared to the PS2, but it's still a good game. The graphics are as good as Blasto, and that's not bad.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for Looney Tunes Fans
I was a big fan of the Looney Tunes cartoons as a kid, so I love this game. There are all the old favorite characters; Witch Hazel with her absurdly small feet who leaves a cloud of hair pins after her, Yosemite Sam in his various historical personae; the medieval king, the pirate, etc., Marvin the Martian and his dumpy-bodied flamingo-like troops. Lots of fun challenges and logic puzzles, but definitely not for younger kids - I still can't win the scooter race with Marvin the Martian. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars My least favorite kart game
I found the graphics choopy, the Karts annoying to control, and the tracks boring. The kids and I love Kart games. We still play Mario Kart on Nintendo 64 and a Mickey Mouse racing game. Not to mention, we play CTR on Playstation and have a lot of fun with that. On all those games the Karts are cute, the tracks are fun, and so are the items. Can't say the same for this game.

3-0 out of 5 stars Nicktoons Racing
This game is pretty good for a Nicktoons game. Obviously, you race around trying to finish before other players like Eliza, CatDog, Spongebob, Patrick and more. This game is pretty easy and should only take you a couple of days to beat. You race through Nicktoon places like The Angry Beavers' dam or some CatDog environment thing. I will now rate this game by it's gameplay, graphics, sound, and control to decide my score for this game.

Gameplay:6/10: Fairly fun for a while but then you win 100 times. Man, this game gets boring quickly, so win the Grand Prix and then quit the game FOREVER!

Graphics:4/10: Cartoonish graphics just like the gameplay. The characters look like their animated self while the background seems mushy and not good.

Sound:3/10: It gets old after hearing Boop, bop, beep, boop, bop, beep over and over again.

Control:7/10: The cars are easy to control but they do go crazy at times like when you crash, you get in last usually.

Overall:20/40: I think that equals 2 and a half stars! But, since I can't seem to do halves, it rounds up to a 3! That's better than my Gadget Racers review!!!!! Maybe, soon, you'll see me again in one of my review things. See ya later!

4-0 out of 5 stars It was good but not very good.
This was a good game but it got boring after a while.Once you win it's boring and there's nothing else to do.I recommend this game for ages 6 to 12 because before the age of 6 it's too hard but after the age of 12 it's too easy. ... Read more

March Madness 2001, an installment in EA Sports' NCAA basketball series, features many improvements over previous versions. A new coach mode allows players to begin a career with a small college and advance to a Tournament-quality team. The game boasts 150 men's Division I teams, 16 women's Division I teams, and 20 historical men's teams for players to choose from. Dynasty mode is back and includes more options, and the offensive and defensive playbooks have been expanded. 5-0 out of 5 stars this years National Champion (repeat performance)
Once again March Madness takes down the nets. This time with it's 2001 edition. Like MM2000 the dynasty mode was great but this years version gives you the opportunity to start out at a small school and work your way up the coaching ranks until your ready for the big time. Along with that you have the greatest teams of all time, the best girls programs, and a load of unlockable moves and options. The graphics have been improved on and the control is much better to. This is the game to have if your lookin for a college hoops game. Must Have.

4-0 out of 5 stars College B-ball
If you are a serious college hoops fan, then this is the game for you. Its not the best basketball game on the market(not even close), but if you want college bball, then this is the game to get. The game is a little unrealistic, with too many "touch" fouls and missed dunks and stuff, but it has a great college atmosphere and great dynasty mode. Its lots of fun taking over a bad team and taking them to the big time. If you aren't a HUGE college fan, then you should probably stick with nba live 2001, but if you gotta have college ball, then this is where it's at.

4-0 out of 5 stars M&M 2001
This an overall great game dynasty is cool there is only a few flaws in this game such as %50% of the time you shoot the shot is blocked and you miss about 3-10 dunks but you can customize most of this stuff to the way you like it. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars I think this game could have been great if only ...
I think this game could have been great if only the PHYSICS had been worked on a bit more. For example: No matter how close to the ground you front tier is, if you back tier lands first, you're more than likely going to fly off your bike like Superman flies through air. BUT if your front tier lands first, you'll be fine. Other than that, the physics are tollerable.

Now, onto the RACING ELEMENTS of the game! The big (and only) problem I have is that if you fall off your bike AT ALL, you will lose the race no matter how skilled you are because the computer-controled opponents hardly ever fall or even slow down.

FREESTYLE. Ah,yes! This is where I spend most of my time playing the game. No worrying about losing a race here. Just have fun and pull off cool tricks. Unfortunataly, you run into that horrible problem with the game's physics alot in this mode. But, once you master the landings, Freestyle is pretty much flawless.

Ahem...now we head to the SOUND catagory. Well, I'll tell you the only things you'll ever hear any of the riders say: Ooh!, Aaagh!, Umph. And the music? It's average rock. Nothing spectacular.

FINAL THOUGHTS. If you want a good racing game, do not buy (or even rent) this game. If you're looking for a game with a pretty good Freestyle mode where you can pull off wild tricks and stunts, you may want to check this game out.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty solid game for a mere 10 dollars.
This game really isn't that bad. I myself bought the game
before even playing it, it looked cool and it was cheap(well...at Wal-Mart).So what if it isn't featuring
Ricky Carmichael or Jeremy McGrath. It has like 15 or 16 courses, Three Modes:
Freestyle, Supercross, and Motocross, and a...load of options.
The graphics are so-so they are average PSone graphics. Nothing
special, The controls can take some getting use to but once you
master them it's as smooth as butter. Be sure to check it out
if you are a dirt-bike freak like my-self. ... Read more
