Very Disappointed!!!!
Half the time Dora doesn't even know what little friend she's holding ,that is if my daughter can find them!!! Most of the time Dora repeats her words over and over and over again like a broken record!! She is a huge Dora fan but has lost all interest in this toy. Wish I could get my money back.

For Dora Fans
I bought this for my girlfriend's 3 year old and she absolutely loves it. She takes it with her to school every day. She already learned the little song that Dora sings and knows how to switch Dora's friends on the palm of her hand, herself. It's a good idea to keep Dora's friends always in your sight because once lost the doll will loose some of it's coolness. But I'm happy that I could make a 3 year old jump for joy. Great gift idea for a little Dora fan.

This toy is a waste of money....do not buy it!
After opening this toy that Santa brought for my 3 year old (no small feat with the master degree holding packaging engineers securing each and every extremity and accessory piece with a wire), and playing with it for a few minutes, I immediately started to wonder why I couldn't get the toy to say the 30 phrases the box promised.My husband suggested that maybe there is a Spanish mode, but there is no "Spanish" button to be found.Additionally, I too thought for the price paid, the manufacturer could have included Dora's backpack to keep her "friends" in.
As another reviewer stated, I can only get the doll to say 8 phrases unless hola and adios count each as 1, then we're up to 10.
Furthermore, the weight of this doll, if launched, will surely break a window, dent a wood floor or cause a concussion in an innocent sibling standing by.
It should go without saying that this is going back as it doesn't do what is promised on the package. ... Read more

Not worth the money
This toy would have great potention to be both fun and educational, if only you could hear what elmo is saying.The sound of the jaw moving covers every word coming out of elmo's mouth rendering the toy useless.As a result my son (19 months) would rather play with his other elmo doll, that says not a word but it great to cuddle with.And this elmo just sits on a shelf rarely touched.Don't waste your money.

Poor Quality...darn
Despite the poor reviews on this item, I bought it for my then-12-month-old who loves Elmo. Out of the box, when Elmo would talk, his mouth would "click, click, click" and get stuck. This is exactly what all the reviews I had read stated. Amazon promptly exchanged it for me, and the same happens with our new one, although not as badly.

It's still a cute toy in terms of educational value. And I like that it can sit up on its own. But it is a very hard "stuffed animal" and not so great for cuddling.

If you're a huge Elmo fan and feel you must have this, know what you're getting in terms of reliability and quality.At the clearance price, I'd say it's worth a shot. I gave it a rating of 2 overall because it consistently fails to perform as designed.

the best elmo on the market!
i bought this item for my one year old daughter.although it's a little sophisticated for her, she loves elmo and we play with it together.he says lots of fun phrases and is a much better looking elmo doll than most of the others i have seen.i have but one complaint, i thought the way elmo moves his mouth when he "speaks" was a great feature but it occasionally sticks and makes a loud popping noise.it scares the baby, so she doesn't play with it as often as she might otherwise.overall, i still think it's great and she'll have even more fun with it when she gets a bit older. ... My daughter loves it!
I got this toy for my 2 year old daughter for Christmas and she just adores it!She laughs at him all the time.He really only will work on a hard surface, on a softer surface he won't turn in a full circle, so since he can only work on a hard surface it can be a bit loud, but her happiness is all that matters to me. So fun I give 5 stars.Its not very educational which is why I only gave it 3 stars for that.As for durability I've only had it for a week so long time durability I can't rate, but so far it's 5 stars. And since she has so much fun with him, I rate this 5 stars overall!

The little ones really appreciate this toy!
My daughter got Barney for Christmas when she was a year old.That was last year and he's still one of her favorites.Barney jumps and sings to the delight of my daughter.When I turn Barney off(occasionally I need a break from the songs) my daughter still loves on him-pushing him in the stroller, etc... She has hauled this toy all around, thrown, beat, and wrestled him.He is still going strong!Great toy!

My daughters love this
We have this toy and both my 2 and 3 year old enjoy it. They love to sing and dance with Barney. My 14 month old still enjoys it...
We bought this before our son was born and use it almost every day still, even at 14 months old.The remote doesn't work very well for us and sometimes it takes a while to manually turn the music off but overall, this is a great product.We even bring it with us when we travel as a family.We love it!

Great toy and soother
We bought this for our daughter when she was 3 months old.She is 22 months, still loves Pooh, and it still helps her go to sleep.During this time, I have memorized "Pooh's Lullabee", which is featured in "The Tigger Movie".When I started singing this song to her the other night, she started looking for Pooh.Shortly after getting it I had to remove the music box because she was swinging Pooh around and I didn't want her to hurt herself, actually when I tried to put the box back in Pooh she cried.She loves to hold the music box and will not let it go any farther than the instrumental version of "Pooh's Lullabee".She pushes the button herself and when I hear the nature sounds I know she is asleep.I put this as educational because I let her play with the remote and she is starting to learn that Pooh causes him to sing, the bird is the nature sounds, and the music note is the other songs.She also has figured out that if she puts her hand over the speaker the volume decreases.She still cuddles up with Pooh and Piglet while listening to the music, and having the music box separate allows me to take it out of her crib without removing Pooh so she can't accidentally start him in her sleep.As far as the durability, I am very impressed and extremely pleased because she is not easy on toys.My biggest complaint would be my TV remote sets Pooh off only because when she hears him she has to have him.I am sad that Fisher-Price no longer manufactures this.

Fun, but poor quality
Kids love this type of toy.It is one of the most sought after activities in my house.However, it didn't even take one day after filing up the jump-o-lene, that it started to deflate.I definitely am not getting my moneys worth!

Won't last long
I have the "castle" version of the Jumpolene.It too popped the bottom chamber after about 6 months.I have to blow it up again every day.But, it lasts about 5-6 hours and only takes 30 seconds or so to inflate with an electric pump...so not the end of the world.

The chamber you bounce on popped the other day.I can inflate it again, but it only lasts about 30 minutes.

What's the No. 1 group dance for the pre-school set? Hint: it's not the "Electric Slide" or "Cotton-Eyed Joe." You guessed it, and so did Elmo: the "Hokey Pokey." Though Elmo doing the "Slide" would be a sight to see, he masters the Pokey quite convincingly, to the probable delight of his toddling fans. After loading his foot with four "AA" batteries, press his hand and he performs the popular jig. He sticks out both his right hand and foot, shakes his body all about, then smoothly spins in place, thanks to a rotating platform under one foot. Elmo even spices up the beat, and sporadically speeds up the action; both innovations crank up the fun factor. oh my gosh!!!

My todler loves it!
I bought this for my son about two months ago. And I believe I must have gotten the most durable one. My 20 month old son was only dancing with him the first two weeks, until he discover that it's more fun to squeeze him, while he shakes, then throw him against the floor or wall. So far it has been over a month, and the Elmo is still singing, dancing, and saying oops or thank you. I would recomend this toy to any one.

Good times for kids
My 2 year old has this and loves it. He's already a huge fan of Elmo, so I'm sure that helps. The toy itself is rather neat since it pretty much does the hokey pokey. Elmo puts in his hand in, his leg in and he shakes all about, then he turns around in a circle. Doesn't work so good on carpet, better on smooth surfaces. Well Loved by My Children
The Care Bears were cute when I was a young girl and they are still cute. My children love them. They are non threatening and very gentle and sweet.

The Good Luck Bear is one of my son's favorite bears.

The videos that come with the bears are new. They do not look like old recordings like you sometimes see with old classic videos. Rather these look like they were made today. The pictures are crisp and clear.

Each video that comes with the bear usually has that particular bear asa star of the show.

I don't know how educational videos are but I prefer videos to TV. You can control what your children watch and how much they watch. You can stop and start the show at will. You don't have to worry about commercials or other information coming on the screen. The Care Bear videos are cute. Even the 'bad guy/girl' in the video is not too scary. They teach a nice message about caring, sharing, working towards a common goal etc.

Wonderful doll
My daughter received this doll for Christmas two years ago.She loved it and it is still her favorate doll to sleep with every night.

My little Dora fan goes nuts for this!
When my daughter saw this in her birthday presents, she went nuts! It's her favorite toy and she carries around with her and goes on pretend adventures and the like. I've got her other Dora's through out her life (including one that talks) but this is the one she loves the most! She even sleeps with her at night.

Wonderful
I bought this for my three yr old daughter, it is a lovely toy. Stuffed animal however my daughter loves it. she watches the movie everyday several times a day so when she saw the unicorn in the mail as i was opening it she was delighted an carries it around everywhere we go. We had to buy sarafina to go with it. Big Disappointment
My 2 year old was crushed to find that she would be unable to load her "backpack" up with her loot.This is no backpack, as described.It is a cross between a stuffed animal and a pillow.Definately not worth the $24.99 pricetag.What a disappointment.

I just love Good-Luck Bear the best so I have to give it 5*'s (stars). It's fun to play with, it's fun to sleep with, and best of all, it's so big and fluffy! Just get one and try it out for awhile. He'll always be there when you're sad or just upset about somthing. My friends and I always go to our Care-Bears when there is no one else to turn to. They will never tell your secrets and they will never talk behind your back, like some of your friends might do. So just get one and see what happens when you need someone to listen to your problems or even if you're all alone in the world. All of the of Care-Bears will do the same, but with Good-Luck Bear, you always know you might just have a little more luck in you than any one else!

This is a cute toy,but press it's tummy and it won't shut-up!

Carebears for Teens
I am a 13-year-old girl, and I just love the carebears! Most people think that they are just for the little kids and the adults that used to have them when they were kids, but they are just so CUTE!!! I went out shopping with my friends and saw a carebear. Without thinking, I said, "Ohmigosh he is so cute! I have to get him!" I thought my friends would burst out laughing, but they wanted one, too! We all ended up getting Carebears, and we love them sooooo much! Everyone agrees that the Carebears can be for any age. I would be thrilled to receive one for a gift! In fact, when asked what I wanted for my birthday this year, I said, "Carebears!!!"
Carebears are my favorite toy ever....I've never really been attached to a doll or blanket or anything, but these are just some AMAZING bears! I would be devestated if one was ever taken away from me!

They are amazing and I love them. I babysit for two kids, and for their birthdays I decided I would buy them a gift. I got them Carebears, and they loved them. It is cute but the wrong color
I grew up watching care bears in the 80's and was trilled when they came out with the new plush toys.My sister go me the Champ Bear plush toy with video for my birthday and I thought it didn't look right.When I was watching teh video I realized why.The actually Champ Bear is a tan color not blue.I was slightly disapointed.

Cute bear- BEST CARE BEAR VIDEO EVER!
My daughter has pretty much ALL the Care Bears, and Champ just arrived from Santa.She is loving Champ (I love his color!). But the video that came with him is the BEST!!! Since Christmas morning has nonstop requested it.Has an exercise show segment in the video and all she does is just do the exercises with the Care Bears. Super cute!!! From all the Care Bears we have, there are only maybe 2 or 3 videos she's showed any interest in. But this one, super! Very cute bear, cute for girl and is a great bear for a boy too. Just gave one to my 7 year old nephew who is a big Care Bear fan (when his school friends aren't around to know about it!) and he was happy to have a boyish bear with the trophy on the tummy.

Champ Bear - A Champion of Toys
My two-year-old son's name is Champ and he loves sports, so we were thrilled to be able to purchase a Champ Bear for his birthday.He loves the bear and the video, which is actually a Care Bears' workout video.What parent wouldn't love a cartoon that gets their children exercising?!The stuffed Champ Bear is blue, although the Champ Bear in the cartoons is a goldish color.This really bothered my 4-year-old daughter, but I assume the manufacturers believed boys would be more likely to carry around a blue bear.I suppose blue is just more masculine.Great toy regardless of color!!! ... This Care Bear is the greatest!!!!
My daughter received Share Bear for her first birthday from my mom, and has not stopped playing with it since.She has had it for over a year and it has saved us from a plethora of whining during car trips.She loves to hear it singing, "Row, Row, Row, Your Boat, If You're and You Know it, and my favorite and her's, The wheels on the bus."This toy makes a great gift, and the price is cheaper than it was when my mom bought it, which makes it more affordable.I know my daughter has had a lot of enjoyment out of this toy, and the batteries have just now expired, so you don't have to worry about the batteries going dead right away.I just love this toy!!!

adorable little toys
My daughter got 4 of these (different of course) for Christmas last year, she was almost 9 months old.I have already purchased a 5th for this Christmas and will probably get more if I find them.They seem to be more fun the more you have, she still doesn't know which one to watch while they are singing, too cute!!!!!I haven't replaced batteries or had a problem w/the hand mechanism on any of them.But she doesn't drag them around day in and day out either.

an adorable stuffed wags
(...) kids'll put down the cutest toy and go play with a cardboard box. that is no reason to rate this toy so low. this is an adorable, soft, cuddly stuffed animal. it plays a pretty lengthy song also. my 9-month old daughter loves this and whenever it plays music, she starts dancing. she holds it tight when she's in the stroller. i highly recommend this to any wiggles/wags the dog loving child/baby!

The Wiggles sing "We're Dancing With Wags the Dog" when you press his stomach, he even barks in rhythm I think that's really cute.

Wags is my Son's best friend
My 19 month old picked up wags in the store 2 weeks ago and hasn't put him down since. Wags eats with us, plays with us and sleeps with us. The other day my son seemed desperate for a doll stroller. I bought one for him, and offered him any doll he could want in ToysRUs. He turned them all down. We got home, he ran and got wags and plunked him in the stroller. You get what you pay for in this case.My daughter was given this as a gift a year ago and it has been a dust collector ever since.She hates this ELMO because is falls over.He should be called clumsy ELMO.My daughter has the Hokey Pokey ELMO too and that is a 10+.

Well my son has SO MANY elmo toys that dance and sing and I must say this one is GREAT! Ours has never fallen over unless my son pushed him and the song and dance are TOO CUTE!! It makes everyone wanna get up and dance my 1 year old gets a kick out of it and even shakes his arms like elmo! The limbo stick is quite irritating though I would think they would have attached it to elmo! Its basically pointless my son chews on it but thats about it! Overall this toy is GREAT just minus the limbo stick!
