Award worthy
I saw this award winning toy in Family Fun Magazine and although we don't own other Chicco Toys, I figured if this toy was an award winner and actually chosen by "kids themselves", let me try it.Like most kids, my 3 year old daughter loves animals, especially puppies.This particular puppy actually doubles as the doctor's bag AND the patient (a novel idea).He responds to the different animal shaped medical instruments that are included by making various fun (and not so fun) sounds from heart beats to crying and giggling.The carry handle definately offers an added bonus for fun on the go.We're extremely pleased with our purchase and definately plan to add other Chicco products to Santa's list this year!

I understand why Family Fun Magazine voted this toy as the "Toy of the Year"for 2002. Simple fun with imaginative play is the best way I can describe this toy. This Puppy Vet Kit comes with the cutest animal shaped pretend medicial instruments to examine the puppy dog. When they touch the correct and matchinglocation on the puppy dogs body, it triggers a sensor of cute sounds . What I especially like, is that the doggy is actually a storage case for everything! Not up to Disney standards
We received this toy as a gift for my 4 year old.It says 4-9 year old recommended but most of the functionality is for minimum 7 year old readers.The drawer did not open until I pried it open with a screwdriver (almost breaking it.)The paper money ripped as I tried to separate it from the package.The calculator function would not make sense to anyone under 9 years old. You need to press the buttons in a specific order to make the calculator work properly otherwise you just end up with a lot of ERROR messages on the display.We have another electronic cash register that I paid (...) for at a dollar store that makes a lot more sense for this age range.

The quality is very disappointing.
My 3 1/2 year old daughter loves to play with this register, but often gets frustrated because the drawer doesn't work right and the screen only works sometimes.

This was an expensive toy and I wish I had read the reviews before I bought it.I plan on writing the company and complaining.Hopefully other shoppers will avoid the problems I (and the other buyers) have encountered.

Please don't waste your money!
This was a hot toy for xmas 2004.My parents went through hoops getting this for my 5 year old "ballerina".I guess the bar and pad were sturdy enough but the movie was terrible. Very poor quality (you think they could have done better for the money) and didn't hold my 5 year old's attention even through the first sitting.She has NEVER asked to see it again. (This is the same girl that has watched every Barbie movie 20 times!) I didn't want to sit thru the movie either - horrible sound and weird costumed people bouncing around (after a lot of talking). Bad.

HORRIBLE QUALITY
I WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE IT 1 STAR, I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY DAUGHTER AND THE DVD WAS SEVERLY DAMAGED UPON OPENING IT. I CALLED THE STORE AND THEY TOLD ME THEY HAD SEVERAL RETURNED WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. I CALLED SPIN MASTER AND THEY WANTED ME TO PAY TO SEND IT TO THEM AND FILL OUT PAPERWORK WHICH IN TURN WOULD PUT ME ON A WAITING LIST TO GET ONE. THEY ALSO ADVISED ME THEY WOULD NOT START FILLING THE WAITING LIST UNTIL AT LEAST 4-6 WEEKS FROM NOW. WHY SHOULD I BE OUT MORE MONEY FOR THIS TERRIBLE QUALITY TOY. I TOOK IT BACK TO THE STORE, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

My 3 year old loves this
My daughter just turned 3 a few weeks before Christmas and this is definitely one of her favorite presents that was under the tree.She saw a commercial for this and said she really wanted it but I was skeptical that she would really use it and almost didn't buy it but I am glad I did because she loves it!I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I think the video is rather cheap-looking and annoying from MY perspective.The video is just a step above home movie quality.Bella and the other children in the video aren't that special and I am guessing they are just kids of people who work for the company that produced it - they certainly don't do anything spectacular.Bella is just a teenager with braces who will nod with every dance move she makes and any adult who watched it while my daughter played with this made fun of the excessive nodding!Also I had no idea Bella had an Australian accent - which is fine but I was surprised!But anyway it's not made for adults, it's made for kids and my daughter sure loves it.The bar is a bit different than the one featured in the video but she hasn't noticed.My daughter has been taking a little dance class for a year or so and she likes this in addition to it, but the class is mostly just fun and she doesn't really know position 1, 2, etc..If your child is older and has mastered that kind of thing I am not sure it would be of interest.Anyway - this was a hit w/ my daughter! ... I bought this item for my child's santa present.The mirror - IS NOT A MIRROR. It is a sheet of aluminum that hardly reflects anything.I was so disappointed I decided not to give it to my child and it ruined the whole Santa experience.

Small, Small, Small
This toy is very small, please check sizes when ordering....I should have known better than to assume the washer was bigger, but learned a lesson...

So much fun!
This toy was given to my kids by Santa last Christmas (2003) and if you read the above review you will notice that the reviewer is just looking at the dimensions - and I don't think actually purchased the toy. This thing ROCKS! The quality is unsurpassed. My kids (all three ages 2-7) have had hours of fun play with this washing machine. It is a fixture when they play house with their dolls. It never leaks water - as I was leary of when Santa brought it. They have graduated to playing with it on the carpet. I set up a clothes line on nice days outside and they play 'laundry' with some clothes pins and their doll clothes. It is always a favorite when we have friends over. After a year I have not replaced the D batteries and it has had hours and hours of use.

There is a fill level on the side so you don't put too much water in. The kids can see their doll clothes (or socks or rubber balls or anything else they can think of to put in it) spin during the wash and spin cycle. There are 4 cycles: water in, where the water get the clothes slightly damp, wash, where the water is sloshed around with the clothes, water out- yep you guessed it it drains, and spin - where it spins the heck out of the clothes. I was worried about how the water 'drains' but it just goes back into the resevoir - and when you are done playing we empty it out via the hose in the back of the machine into the sink.

It is small but perfect for your child to play house with. It is about 12 inches high and about 10 inches deep. The price is a little steep but for the amount of play time you will get out of it - it is well worth it. If you happen across the dishwasher that matches this set - I do not recommend that. Not as much action as you get with this one.

This has been a great toy - buy it with confidence that it will become a favorite.

Buy 2 sets of these keys!
My daughter is fascinated with keys! She tries to get into everything with keys - even the refrigerator.

When it's time to leave the house, she gets her purse with her keys, cell phone, & sunglasses.She's ready for her day to start.The noises that the keys make are so realistic that if she presses the button to honk the horn, I have to think twice. The keys themselves are not the plastic garbage that breaks easily.This is a very durable toy.

My three year old b/g twins are in that stage where they want the cellphone, keys, Ipod, computer EVERYTHING we have. These keys are perfect, and their 8 month old twin brothers love them too...

My 3 year olds like how "realistic" they look and they say its the keys to anything, the house, their cozy coupes, kettrikes, to the aquarium, to the dogs kennel, to thier log cabin to ANYTHING. They like the light and the horn the best, if mommy or daddy honks the horn, they do too, very cute.

My 8 month olds like all the sounds, the car alarm setting, the horn, the locking mechanism, and the lights. Its a big red keychain, very eye catching. They like to shake them and put them in their mouths, so cute.

I love it because teh keys are a light plastic, and wont hurt if one of the kids gets wacked. They are big and noticable, so harder to loose. Its great for multiple age groups and uses. Its just the all around greatest toddler set of keys.

My son loves them and tries to unlock everything with them. We're never aloud to leave them behind. We say it's time to go and he grabs his keys. My son's 18 months, thinking, with these keys, he's as big as his daddy. These are a must have for any parent who has kids that drive them nuts trying to get ahold of the car keys. Uh..
Well, the bendable knees were useless because she can't pedal the pedals on the bike. Easy to put her on the bike. She's cute, but has a weird smirk on her face. I'd still get it, because i have a million other dolls to play with. I don't have to use her. I would just use her for a popcorn seller.

great for pretending
Even though it's a small Polly set, it's teriffic. It's not that easy to put her on the bike, but once she's on, the wheels go around and so does the popcorn.You can take the umbrella off and twirl it, to make the yellow and pink stripes blend.She also looks great with her matching outfit, helmut and bag.

This toy rocks but the octo go round is WAY BETTER! beacuse you can rock the babies to sleep:) thats soooo sweet:) but my 2 sisters like the spining seals better if your buying your littel girl one get....oh there both so sweet:)but if there is one problom the dress and stuff could be eaten buy a littel kid....of corse my kitten EATS THE POLLY CLOTHS AND TRUST ME I GET MAD!!! We purchased this set after our daughter received the Marine set and enjoyed playing with it.It is a cute toy and she loves playing with it, once you add all of the additional pieces together with the Marine set they all spin together.The connection becomes loose easily though and requires you to piece them back together but all in all its a good toy. ... We bought this tea set and another Disney Princess one for our 20 month and 8 month old daughters and they love them! My 20 month old loves this one the best because it is more of a tea set than the other.... the muffins, creamer, etc. It has a lot more than I expected and gets hours of play. Highly recommended!
