5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect!!!!!
My daughter LOVES this case! It has 19 loops to "strap" the Polly's into.Even with 19 Polly's there is still PLENTY of space for clothes, shoes, etc.Polly's are little, and so are her stuff.I just put the clothing and shoes into tiny zip-lock baggies and then plop them into the case with the Polly's. Sure, in time I may need to get another case or use something else for all the "stuff", but the case is perfect for the dolls themselves.Like another reviewer said, kids like the cases made specifically for the doll! And this is a good way to teach my daughter how to organize with efficiency! LOL! Two thumbs up and FIVE stars.

Oh, the Polly's fit PERFECTLY in the fisher-price Sweet Streets collection! We just bought the Sweet Streets Family Home and the Polly's LOVE it! LOL! Also, the fisher-price family that comes with the house fit perfectly in the loops of the Polly case!

I plan on buying many more of the fisher-price Sweet Streets collection, and I like knowing that those dolls will fit in the Polly cases. With 19 dolls to a case, my daughter is going to have a BLAST with the Polly's and the fisher-price dolls/town.The more the merrier! And I have the piece of mind knowing that my daughter can just put all the dolls in the case...and not all over my floors!!!! LOL! I wish I was a kid again!!!!!

FIVE stars!!!!

Pretty yes, functional slightly for sorting dolls not clothing or shoes or the other item that tag along with pollys. They really need to find a better organizational storage for these dolls small parts to market.. I really think the manufactures need to spend some time cleaning up a hugh polly collection mess to appreciate the key to organizing them.Or have the unpleasant experience of a missing shoe and tears streaming. I agree that plastic storage containers are the way to go the nice ones with the drawers in the smaller size are much more functional.
ONLY good thing about this case is: for travel with a small assortment of dolls and fashions. (which you could do with a small purse.
Not worth the cash.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not really a toy even, but...
...everybody with toys needs storage for them, and my kids seem drawn to cases or containers that are "made" for a specific toy.Trouble is, these options are rarely big enough to fit all of the accessories kids accumulate, so they outgrow them fast and you end up using a big 'ol Rubbermaid container like you should have done in the first place. That said, my daughter does enjoy "organizing" her Polly Pockets in this little case -- it has small elastic loops for holding the dolls -- and as such it's been a good tool for teaching her to put her toys away. That's why I gave it a 3 stars for "educational value". ... 5-0 out of 5 stars BEST DRESS UP EVER
I bought this for a Halloween costume for my two year old.The real Halloween costumes cost between $10-$14 and were flimsy. This is durable, can be worn rain or shine and has been.It doesn't come with BOOTS but my son just wears his winter boots. He loves it.In addition my daughter, 4 years old, also enjoys playing with it.There is a walkie talkie that makes siren noises, a a squirt fire extinguisher (though I have never filled it with water) a blow up hose and of course, the fave- an axe.It is not dangerous. This set is DURABLE.The latches are a little difficult for the two year old but no problem for the four year old.It is well worth the money since it is not only worn at Halloween but year round. They have several different costumes from the same company- a chef, veterinarian, police officer and they all look wonderful. ... Editorial Review

There are few toys quite as fun as that old standby, the pretend cash register. But as anyone who’s been in a grocery store in the last few years can tell you, the technology has changed a little bit. Gone are the days of punching in each individual price by hand, replaced by high-tech scanners and coding. Fortunately, Barbie rolls with the punches, unveiling this souped-up shopping cart, brimming with products, and scanning system for any kid looking to play grocery store in a more realistic way. 24 pieces of pretend food are included, with a heavy emphasis on snacks like popsicles and cookies, along with a small scanning station. Other shopping items, featured in a flip-book catalog, are also able to be scanned using a special electronic pen. This kit may lack the satisfying clunking sounds of the old fashioned toy cash register, and the American Express co-branding seems to be a bit of unfortunate marketing that does little to enhance the fun, but the use of modern shopping gadgetry will likely be a hit with kids. --Charlie Williams ... 5-0 out of 5 stars The best toy for my 5 year old daughter!
On December 4th, my daughters birthday I bought her the Barbie scan and play shoping cart. For the whole day she could not stop playing with it. When I called her for dinner she would not leave it alone. I want to assure you that this toy is both educational and fun for you and your child. My girl can now add and partly subtract and she knows what to do when she goes to the store she can tell me how to pay and she knows how to count money. This toy is absolutly incridable!

3-0 out of 5 stars Too high priced
My 4 year old daughter received this for Christmas this year.Like the other reviewers, we found it frustrating.Everytime she looks for an item on the shopping list, it shuts off before she's through. It is very durable but is hard to push on the carpet. She never uses the scanner because you have to do it exactly right for it to work. I think she was a little dissapointed that it doesn't have a place for her doll to sit. It was not worth $70.

4-0 out of 5 stars The Good and Bad for a 6 year old.
Bought this for my just turned 6 year old.The first one had to be replaced as it kept going back to the demo mode by itself. With the first one, though, the scanner seemed to work most of the time (when not in demo mode).Got the replacement and everything seems to work with the exception of the scanner.I can't get the scanner to work more than once out of every 10 or so scans.I think for the price, the scanner should work at all times.

Besides the scanner, my child seems to love the toy.She likes to shop via the "shopping list" feature. At first, the 90 second automatic turn-off feature of the toy was somewhat of a problem, but after a bit, this ceases to be a problem with her.I could see where this would be a problem with younger children. But, the cart and food products are so durable, that a younger child could play rough with it and I think it would still survive and "grow" with your child.

Overall, my child is really enjoying this toy and there is educational value in it.Also, because of the 90 automatic turn off feature, it does make her pay attention and stay focused while playing.I think at it's price and it's association with Barbie that one should expect all parts to work at all times, but apparently there is a problem with at least some scanners with this toy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wingardium Leviosa! Petrificus Totalus! Avada Kedavra!(eek!)
I love this costume! I run around the house yelling spells from the books as I point my wand at couches, tables, desks, books, etc. I even cover the badge sometimes and put it over my head and pretend to be He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. This is the best costume I have!

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent buy for any Harry Potter fan!
This was a great find for my 6 yr old son. He loves Harry Potter and was thrilled with the robe, wand, glasses and stickers. The robe was a nice soft material, not that itchy stuff that costumes are usually made of.The glasses were made with real glass and metal, not cheap plastic. The wand is plastic, but still pretty durable. My son wore the scar tattoo and was thrilled he was "just like Harry Potter".

The costume came in a nice box, and for $13.88 was a great deal! My kids are still playing with it even after Halloween.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great For Harry Potter Wannabe's
I purchased this as a halloween costume for my 5-yr old son and he absolutely loves it. He runs through the house casting spells with the wand that comes with it. The glasses are made with real glass lenses so you need to be carefull with them. The only problem we had with it was the clasps for the robe that came with the set were flimsy and the glue that is used to hold the decoration onto them is very weak. All in all, this was great fun for my son!! ... Read more

We bought this toy last year for our now 3.5 year old daughter and she still loves it!She is very into pretend and dress up and this toy is perfect for her!She plays with it all the time and even pretends to do my hair and make up with it!I like how it "talks" based on the item you are using, if you take the comb out, it says "Comb your hair, make it pretty". My daughter and her friends have gotten a lot of use out of this toy, I would definitely recommend it!

We purchased this toy last year for our 2 year-old's birthday. She loves it!! Still plays with it. It is nice how each toy is shaped to fit in its' own spot. Mirror talks about each toy. "Ohhhhh... 4-0 out of 5 stars awesome size and durabilty-- great for a young one
It really is very durable, all you have to do is push enough to lock legs in place- we have had NO problems with them staying in place. My child got it when he was 1 1/2 and is now 3 and still plays with it in his own imaginative way. It is also perfect if you don't want the big/huge workshops

5-0 out of 5 stars Little Tool Men
My son has had this toy for a long time, about 3 years. He loved it when he was a toddler, about 18 months and his sister enjoys it now as well. She is 17 months.
It has stood up to allot of play. Great toy! Defenately recomment this as a gift!

1-0 out of 5 stars A Big Disappointment
My daughter received this as a birthday present when she turned two.Unfortuantely, the directions for assembly were unclear, pictures only, and almost impossible to figure out. This toy was not at all what I thought it would be.My daughter loves to pretend to "fix" things and adores any kind of tools, but this toy was flimsy, hard to use (the gears are very tight), and very small for a two year old.We wanted something she could stand at to "work" on, but this is much too short. We returned it within a day of receiving it. ... Editorial Review

Edgar Bergen once said, "Ventriloquism is one of the oldestforms of entertainment. It was practiced by the ancient Greeks... why, ventriloquists were even found up among the Eskimos!" To which CharlieMcCarthy responded, "They weren't found up there, they werechased up there!" Charlie McCarthy makes a timely reappearancehere as a 31-inch working Celebrity Ventriloquist Doll. Charlie'simmaculate hair and features are painted on, and his transparentplastic monocle is removable, as is his velvet top hat. Beneath asatin-trimmed, black tuxedo coat, Mr. McCarthy sports a white shirtfront and white satin bow tie. While not the classic tailcoat he worein the 1940s, his jacket has a straight hem that does an admirable jobof disguising the string that controls his jaw. A hidden string pull atthe back of his neck works his jaw; it seemed stiff, but its tendencyto pull his head back was easily worked out with some practice atpositioning the doll. Charlie would make a terrific gift for yourfavorite theater buff or aspiring ventriloquist--and he cuts a dashingfigure sitting on a bookshelf or bedstead. Simple instructions for thebeginning ventriloquist are included. --Julie Ubben ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars This is a must have for all, hands down...
You haven't lived until Charlie McCarthy has sat in your house and talked. I wanted a dummy since I was about 6, and on my 11th birthday, I finally got it (A 5 year wait. Kinda annoying). I wanted one because of the Goosebumps(tm) series character "Slappy". I was hyperactive when I heard they were going to release a live action series. So I sat with a HUGE bowl of popcorn... and the dummy looked awful. His eyebrows, mouth, face, and hair were all different. I won't go into the details. It takes to long. Anyways, I heard that there was a Slappy eddition doll and I immidiately wanted it. My mom said no way, and I understand why. I was 11, and I was afraid of the dark. I could see him sitting in the closet. His eyes glowing. It would have terrified me. So, my mom suggested a Slappy lookalike, because even so, I wasn't thrilled that I couldn't get Slappy. I saw this one with a monocle and tux, so I asked my mom about it. She was amazed at how easy I got over Slappy and ordered my a Charlie. Then, on my birthday, I got him. I was excited and immidiately searched high and low for books on ventriloquism. I found a few, got some webpages, and now I'm pretty good at it. My baby brother love Charlie a lot. He likes to see him talk, because charlie seems so real to him. A must for anyone, and a NO QUESTIONS ASKED must for Big brothers and sisters with baby siblings. A great product, worth every penny. Buy it!

Few toys are more majestic than this charcoal-gray plush elephant. Bonus: this gentle giant is also a puppet. He boasts an extendable trunk, protruding horns, wrinkled eyes, and soft, floppy ears. 5-0 out of 5 stars super soft, an excellent puppet!
I knew Folkmanis would never disappoint but was still thrilled at the high quality of this puppet. Folkmanis puppets are consistently great quality, of beautiful design, and fun to use. This puppet, however, is exceptionally soft, almost velvety in texture. A great toy for little ones to hug and hold as well as a fun puppet. Using your hand, one can move the mouth and swing the trunk a bit.

My children love this puppet! This large puppet is a must-have for puppet lovers and elephant lovers!

Mounted to a sturdy, wooden base, the woven rattan- like sides are actually constructed of heavy-duty paper and cord.Measuring 15 inches long and 10 inches wide, the cradle doesn't take upmuch floor space, and it can accommodate a variety of dolls or stuffedfriends. 4-0 out of 5 stars Great first cradle for toddlers to use
This is a good cradle for toddlers to use for their babies. It is a little flimsy, I completey agree, but my daughter has been using it since she was 15 months old (she's now 23 months old) and we haven't had a problem with it breaking. She's not a rough kid, though.

My complaints: the flimsiness of the cradle and the inside liner/sheet does not stay put, which is a problem when your little one keeps bringing it to you to reattach every couple of minutes. I finally had to use the glue gun to glue the sheet to the cradle so that the liner would stop coming out. This will be a problem if the sheet ever gets dirty and I have to wash it but that most likely won't happen unless something gets spilled in it. It's very cute, though, and my little one loves putting her dollies to bed.

4-0 out of 5 stars Mommy of 3 year old
I bought this almost a year ago for my daughter's third birthday. She loves to put her 'Hanna' down for her nap.(Her two year old brother does too.)It is not the kind of toy that entertains for more than a few minutes at a time, but it gets regular use.It is very cute.A little fragile, but as long as they are not standing in it, it should be fine.We have not had any trouble. She loves using the little pillow and blanket.A nice addition to a little girls room and bed time routine.

3-0 out of 5 stars Kind of Loud!
My daughter loves this toy especially when I am on the phone!I think it is a great way to teach children the vlaue of cleaning up, but it is so loud!!!She likes to play with it while I am vaccuming and that is fine, it gives her a chance to mimic me, but the loud sound the wheels make is very aggrivating!

1-0 out of 5 stars DO NIT BUY THIS TERRIBLE TOY
I purchased this toy because it looked cute.I like the phrases it says but the grinding noises are too much for me to stand.I don't usually get bothered with the loud toys but this sound is awful. Please don't buy this toy it really isn't worth it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Daughter likes Dusty
I got this toy for my daughter for Christmas. It was a little sentive in the box.My husband and I had a laugh when I brought this in off the porch and the box started talking to me.I like that the voice isn't very loud.My daughter has had this for a few months now and she still plays with it a few times a week. She does lose interest, but not so much that he gets forgotten. ... Editorial Review

This 6-foot-long play tunnel smooshes down into something about the size of a pizza box. Butwhen expanded, and with a little imagination, it will carry any number of children to a space station, asubmarine, a prehistoric cave, or between tables used for an impromptu fort. The diameter is 19 inches, plenty big enough for most kids on their hands and knees. The ventilated mesh design allows kids to havelight and parents to check up on their progress. Sturdy enough for outdoor use. The tube is designed toattach to the Play Tent, also made by Pacific Play Tents. --Sally James ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Buy it for other reasons
I agree that the toy doesn't not hold together very well, and the sounds the dolphins make are kind of strange. That being said, we love this toy.We use it for counting and colors and it's wonderful. Our 2 1/2 YO girl loves playing with it; it's her favorite tub toy.So, know that it's not a magical, musical tub toy, but it is a lot of fun.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun Toy
I disagree with many of the other reviews here.We just picked up this toy used, at a Thrift Store for a dollar, and it was well-spent.The dolphins, do indeed make sounds (whistles of differents tones) when you lightly tap their heads. The only time they don't make sounds is when they get too full of water and you just have to empty them out.As for the rings staying together, we are missing one, so I didn't know that the were supposed to form a big ring, but we build chains with them, and have had no trouble at all with them coming apart. My son is 6 months old and he just loves his dolphins. He hated baths until we brought these home! Now he squeals with excitement when we run the bath water and can't wait to get in the tub!

1-0 out of 5 stars disappointed with toy
I bought this toy for my kids thinking that the music would be great but this toy does not make music at all.One would really have to strech the definition of "music".I was disappointed because the box makes it looks like it would be a great toy.My son got very irritated at the rings not staying connected.I returned the toy. ... Editorial Review

Budding young pastry chefs can get some early training in the culinary arts with this pretend kitchen. Kids can make, bake, and decorate toy goodies in this workstation, which includes a refrigerator, overhead pantry, and side storage for ingredients; a stovetop with burners and knobs and an oven for cooking treats; and a sink for cleaning up. The magic oven appears to actually "bake" the seven different sweets that come with the kitchen by changing their color when "cooked." Kids can refer to the built-in cookbook to see what treats should look like before and after baking. An icing bag with a soft tip lets kids decorate their masterpieces after they come out of the oven. Other vital kitchen accessories in the set include a mixing bowl, a baking dish, two serving plates, a potholder, a pitcher, two water goblets, a spatula, a fork, a spoon, a whisk, a cake stand, four cake toppers, cake mix, a milk carton, an egg, and a phone. The oven operates on three D batteries (not included). --Cristina Vaamonde ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars We love our Sweet Magic Kitchen!
My daughter loves her kitchen. We got it for her this last Christmas just a couple months after her having turned 2. I decided to get it when I saw it on sale at KMart for $35 compared to the $90 I could get it for at my local ToysRUs. My husband put it together and says it wasn't too bad to put together. There were a few things he didn't like, but it still went together and is sturdy. My daughter is still a little short for it, but she has so much fun. It's light and easy to move, so I can move it into the kitchen and she can cook with me - which she loves! She has stood and sat on the over door numerous times without any breaks at all. It doesn't stay closed very easily, but she doesn't care and she's figured out the knack for keeping it closed. The only time the ice tray leaks as the ice is melting is when I over-fill it. My solution is to fill it about 2/3 full and let it sit on the counter on a towel for 10 minutes or so to make sure any excess water drips out before being frozen to the inside of the tube areas which is where I also found leaks coming from. We use rechargable batteries and have had no problems what so ever with the batteries or music.

Over all, this is a great kitchen and I love the price I found on it. I probably would not have paid the full price for it because I hardly ever pay full price for anything. My friends kids love it as well. Our Sweet Magic Kitchen is a huge hit and I'm very glad we bought it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Favorite toy in our household
Haven't had any of the problems described in the other reviews. Specifically the oven door stays shut, music still plays, and accessories and kitchen look great. If you children are into baking sweet things, haven't seen a cuter small kitchen out there.

4-0 out of 5 stars Better than I expected!
I'd been looking for a kitchen for my two year old, and found this one on clearance for $35 (kmart). It's a little cuter (read: pinker) than what I wanted, but at that price I didn't really care. The ones we were looking at were in the $100+ price range.
Before we put it together, I checked out the reviews here, and almost took it back to the store without even opening it. We decided to give it a try, though, and put it together anyway. It went together pretty quickly, and my daughter has been playing with it for about a month now without anything breaking. Actually, the reason I thought about writing this review is because I just looked over and saw her standing on the oven door, and it didn't break (Which I completely expected it to do the first time she did that.) My daughter never saw any commercials for it, so she doesn't know about the color change feature, and after reading the reviews about the water dripping as it melted, I wasn't in any hurry to try it out. It's fun without that, though. She likes to "cook" her cookies, then use the pot holder to take them out and put them in the fridge to cool off (like we do with her food when it's too hot!)
I probably wouldn't be as happy with this kitchen if I'd paid full price for it, but at $35 I think it was a good deal. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars PERFECT FOR 3 YEAR OLDS!!!
I justbought this kitchen for my three year old daughter and she loves it, but the best part about it is when she is done playing I can store it away in the closet or cabinets, ect. ect. unlike the huge child size kitchens that take up so much space. It is a perfect size for her american girl doll and Barbie kelly baby doll.works great for us and I just went today and bought the washer dryer combo and the food sets. We love it!

5-0 out of 5 stars fun in a small space
