Bat Dad 2
I bought the Bat belt for my son again. Now he is four going on five. I have learned that if I put the belt on him and pull it real snug past the last loop then use some duct tape for a few wraps, he can squeeze in and out of it real easy and it stays on him while he is playing. He loves it now. Bat tip. Pick a closet and hang a dark sheet down in the open doorway with a flashlight on in the closet. Then line up a few chairs with a sheet over them connecting to the closet entrance. Then hang a Batman costume with the Bat Belt and mask in the closet. Set some music playing from the first Batman movie. 1990. My son crawls through the chairs like a batcave entrance to find his costume waiting for him in the closet. Then he crawls back out to do battle with me while the music is playing. Sometimes I surprise him, he hears the music and runs to the den cause he knows it's Bat time.

Bat Belt
I got this belt for my 4 yr old.Its HUGE!I need to layer him up and put it on the last setting to stay on. Either that or feed him an entire box of hoho's/ring dings a day.That is a bit dissapointing.Other than this belt is 200% nicer than the belt that comes with the mask/cape/talking chest plate. (which is why we needed to buy this belt.)He plays with it maybe 2-3 times a week since recieving it from Santa.Would be nice if the company offered a delux set with all the nice masks, gloves, cape and belts vs needed to buy 3 sets from the same manufacturer just to get the right look.

My suggestion is get the muscle holloween costume and get this belt.That would be the ultimate play costume...but I couldn't find the halloween costume around Christmas... so santa had to improvise and bring this with the other sets. The belt is nicer than the glove set and the talking chest plate set.

Excellent Value
I bought this belt for my son's 3rd Christmas and although it was too big for his waist - he still enjoyed 'the gear' that came with the belt.He has played with this belt many times over the years, and so have his friends.He's 5 1/2 now and wore the belt as part of his Halloween costume.Everything still works just like when we bought it.If you use rubber bands to hold the 'gear' down your little caped crusader is ready for anything.He played the button for people giving out candy and everyone, the people giving out candy, the other trick-or-treaters and Robby had a blast! ... A Great Vacation
I was very pleased when I got this toy. It was a blast, it even has a roller coaster that connects to the hotel. It comes with a good amount of trendy stretchy clothes. The popcorn set with Lea is also fun. This toy would be a great toy for a birthday or other holiday. This toy doesn't really have any educational value, but it is still a great toy. Playmobil is Great!
We bought our youngest son the pirate ship seven years ago when he was four. He is now eleven, and is asking for this new updated ship. He has played with the old one for years, outside in the pool, inside, along with the big king castle, and countless other sets that we have. Yes, Playmobil. is delicate, and young children can be taught how to play with it, there are alot of small pieces, but like Lego, it will and does encourage a child's imagination, rather than stifle it.We have Castles, western forts, city sets, boats, all of it! It does take time to put together, but some of the best memories are of me and my boys putting together some of these intricate playmobil sets the day after Christmas! When you buy toys for your kids, don't look at a toy and say "what does it do", rather look at a toy and ask "what can my child do with this toy"? Playmobil has been one of the toys that my three boys have stayed with along with legos well past Christmas, much more, than anything else. I am keeping all of our collections for our grandchildren.

Too many little pieces
Bought for three- and five-year old boys. Too many pieces and extra accesories to to keep track of.They were all over the house.It took hours to put the pirate ship together and once it came apart, it couldn't be put back together again.I do not recommend this item.

The most popular toy in our home!
I purchased this pirate ship for my son's fourth birthday. This is by far the most popular toy in our house! My 8 year old son and 6 year old daughter also love this toy. There are so many items that come with the ship - from canon balls, swords, treasure chest full of goodies, food, animals and even jewelery for the pirates - they are never bored. My four year old plays on his own, or with his friends, and when all three are home they all play together. Definitely worth the investment for the amount of joy this toy has brought to our home!! ... Read more

TONS of play time
I got this for my daughter about a year and a half ago... she turned 3 today.... and she STILL plays with it!I gave it a 4 for durability only because with the original one we bought, the crank came off and was unfixable, but the store gladly let us exchange it and I happily got a replacement instead of a refund because my daughter loved it so much!I think for the price, its a great value when you consider all the other pieces that come with it as well as the fact that it gets played with so much and you can get add ons for it with the other kits they have for Little People.We now have a ton of those and I am now thinking her little people 'village' that she's creating is even larger than our own house! :PYou just can't lose with Little People!

Little People Ferris Wheel
This is a must have toy if you purchase the Little People Fun Park because they go so well together.My son loves spinning hte ferris wheel and listening to the music.Little Eddie with his frog in hats taking tickets at the ride is too cute!I put away the bottle and mirror accessories that came with it though because they are a disappointment. They are not that cute or toddler friendly either as the mirror is too small to actually see into and the bottle game piece falls over too easily and is too small for little hands to setup.

Fun and Cute!
I bought this for my 23 month old daughter yesterday, she LOVES it. She was so excited while I was putting it together. She will be keeping this at Grandma's house (she spends about 3 days a week there). My daughter especially loved the ferris wheel.She and I both like the music, luckily there is an off switch should Mommy or Grandma need break from the noise.

I also bought two extentions to this set (Little People Surprise Sounds Fun Park & Little People Parading Pals), each of these are so cute and fun.

My daughter's Aunt thought it was such a cute toy (I think she will play with it too and she is 35!). Of course I am looking forward to playing with it myself. :)

Cool..indoors and out
These playskool 'working toys' are the greatest. we own the mower and the vacuum for my 2 yr old..he LOVES them both. Very durable and not too loud that it drives the parents crazy but makes cute talking sounds and working sounds. Definitely a great gift for a 2 yr old and up.

Great Toy
My 2 year old son got this as a gift for his birthday in September, so he's been using it in the house all winter and just loves it.Thankfully he doesn't mind that I turned off the sound effects when he races around the house with it.I know he's going to enjoy using it outside!!VERY STURDY!We got a bubble blower mower last summer and it was hard to push on grass and was very flimsy...plus the bubbles only worked for a few minutes.This one is a keeper, however!!

This toys needs a manners lesson!
The durability is fine, it moves on grass well and the mowing sound is cute...BUT the faces can be a little scary for younger or more timid children.The MOST IMPORTANT part...the phrases this mower has and the fact that it burps...it is just rude and unecessary!These are things I want to teach my children not to do.We returned it and purchased the Little Tykes mower for now and we are considering a John Deer. ... This is one of those toys that proves they really do make them like they used to. The level of detail in this airport terminal is astonishing; from the "touristy" clothes of the passengers and the telescope on the observation deck to the luggage carousel that really works and the authentically institutional-looking chairs, this terminal has the unmistakable feeling of reality. More importantly, it offers almost infinite scenarios for imaginative play. One drawback, and it may be an important one for some parents, is that the required assembly is complex and time-consuming. SUPER sweet airport - worth the time!
My 4 year old son received this on this birthday.We all LOVE it!The details are amazing.I really love putting stuff together so I wasn't really intimidated by the MANY pieces.I just took my time.The instructions were really easy.

We've had it for several months and we still have all of the pieces and nothing is broken.Playmobil products are really built to last although, my son is very good with his toys.He gets pretty upset if one gets broken.

I HIGHLY recommend all playmobil products.I searched the web for other products and there is definitely something for every child's interest - boy or girl!

Finaley an Airport
I have been playing with Playmobil since before I can remember.I can not remember not having playmobil around the house. Now that I am older I have small displays around the house.I feel that in the past few years Playmobil has come around.They are making sets that I wished I had when I was a child.I now own every piece of airport that they make.I even own the new RC Tour Bus that just came out.I love the air port.I feel that it is one of the best sets sence the Circus.People say that it takes a long time to assemble.I know for fact that it does not.My 5 year old can have it entirley built in 15 min.This is including the Gate Extensions.It is sturdy and well built.It provides hours of play.I even catch my self playing with it when my son is not around.The set is realistic and has plenty of room for imagination.The only regreat I have about this set is that they took the World Trade center out of the city sky line.Towere made this toy much more of a memorial to 9-11 than with out.I reconmend this toy to any way in the age limit, even to those of you who think that playing with toys is childish.It will bring out qualiteys that you did not know you had.

My 31/2 year old son loves this toy.He also got the playmobile plane and ground crew and plays with all three.My biggest complaints are 1) it took about 5 hours to put together and 2) when my son plays with the elevator and doors, etc. they tend to pop off and I am forever putting it back together.Other than that, he loves to incorporate his new cars into the "game" and pretends that people are driving to the airport.Great game for the imagination! ... my experience w/ playmobil castle
I purchased the large castle for my son (4 yrs. old) last Christmas. We had already owned the small castle #3888 for my 5 yr. old daughter. Yes, it took a long time to construct, but it was worth it. We combined the castles into one, and have since added many other extras. I think why my kids have had such joy with these items is because we set up the castle a couple times a week, and don't leave it out all the time. I store all the pieces in a large plastic tote, along with the people & accessories in a smaller plastic box. By making it special, and not allowing the pieces to get lost, or mixed up with other stuff, my kids are able to focus their play. Playmobil is so well constructed, the company is great. I can't say enough. It is so nice to purchase a toy for my kids that doesn't fall apart, require batteries, and makes noise for them, instead of them using their own imagination. Finally, I would agree that you should stick to the age recommendation. I can see how a child under 4 would be frustrated with this system.

Little ones in the House hide this toy
When me & my 4 year old son saw the King's castle on display we both fell in love with it, the detail and all the accessories were amazing I couldn't wait to buy it for him for Christmas plus I read so many great reviews here about the castle. But it turn out being a nightmare, my son was so excite when he unwrapped it but got upset when he had to wait 3 hours for daddy to put it together (I have to add my husband's comment about the toy "Don't ever buy anything that needs that much assembly again!!!")

After it was all put together we all sat and played with it, the draw bridge was fun and hiding the knight in the tower was exciting to my son, he used a lot of his imagination why I give it 3 stars. But when our 10 months old crawled over and started bash on it the tower fell off in second, which made my 3 yr old cry. The bad part about this toy is it is made to come apart so you can rebuild anyway you want, so it comes apart easily when not handle right!!! Every morning I'd wake up and find castle piece laying all over the floor, my 4 yr old would blame his little brother. And I was Constantly being ask "mom can you put this back together" sometime my son would try to put it back together himself (a 4 year old can't, I'm 30 and had a hard time putting it together) and when he couldn't get it to snap back together he'd cry, I found him Crying over the toy more then having fun!!! After our 3rd son learn to crawl (we had 5yr old, 1yr old & 7 month old in the house) the castle was NEVER in one piece; the walls would be under the bed, the tower in the closet and my 5 yr old lost all interest in it.

If you have an only child it's a perfect gift, you can setup it and teach them to be gentle (which you Have to be with this toy) but when you have 1yr & 7 month old who do Not understand 'be careful with this toy' it Will be destroy it in minutes. I would spend hours finding all the pieces & putting it back together and my 5 yr old would promise not to let the little ones destory it, but the next morning I'd find it all over the floor. And for the price you pay for this castle to see it scatter all over your floor, being step on by your 1yr old can cause you to have heart attack. I got so frusted with the toy so did my son!!! (since it was always in piece and he never got to play with it) I ended up boxing the castle up and put it in my garage and has been sitting in the garage now for 3yrs I'm waiting for all my boys to get old enough to understand you can not beat on this toy.

This toy really is not meant for a group of children under the age of 6 and not for rough boys who like to beat on their toys.

A really nice pool
We've had this pool now for what will be our third summer. My son has enjoyed it since he was only 5 months old and is now 2. The sides are wide and sturdy enough for him to sit/lay on without caving the whole thing in and he loves bouncing up and down on the tail. So far it's held up, no leaks and I'm rather surprised since most blow up pools don't last 1 summer. Anyways, the blow hole is a fun feature (you hook it up to the hose) that my son loves as well. Another nice thing is that the pool is large enough for me to sit in with my legs fully extended (I'm 5'7). Inflating it takes some time and massive effort if you don't have an electric pump, so we keep it inflated all year round and just store in rafters in the garage during the winter. This is a great pool.

A God Send
I bought this pool for my 1 yr old daughter in 2003 and we used it all summer long.We would typically take it down after a few uses to let the lawn breathe.It withstood this many many times and never once gave us a problem.We haven't set it up this year yet but I don't expect it to give us many problems due to it's durabilty. My daughter just loves this pool and I would buy it again or atleast one from the same makers.

Perfect!!!!!
My daughter LOVES this case! It has 19 loops to "strap" the Polly's into.Even with 19 Polly's there is still PLENTY of space for clothes, shoes, etc.Polly's are little, and so are her stuff.I just put the clothing and shoes into tiny zip-lock baggies and then plop them into the case with the Polly's. Sure, in time I may need to get another case or use something else for all the "stuff", but the case is perfect for the dolls themselves.Like another reviewer said, kids like the cases made specifically for the doll! And this is a good way to teach my daughter how to organize with efficiency! LOL! Two thumbs up and FIVE stars.

Oh, the Polly's fit PERFECTLY in the fisher-price Sweet Streets collection! We just bought the Sweet Streets Family Home and the Polly's LOVE it! LOL! Also, the fisher-price family that comes with the house fit perfectly in the loops of the Polly case!

I plan on buying many more of the fisher-price Sweet Streets collection, and I like knowing that those dolls will fit in the Polly cases.With 19 dolls to a case, my daughter is going to have a BLAST with the Polly's and the fisher-price dolls/town.The more the merrier! And I have the piece of mind knowing that my daughter can just put all the dolls in the case...and not all over my floors!!!! LOL! I wish I was a kid again!!!!!

SAVE YOUR CASH
Pretty yes, functional slightly for sorting dolls not clothing or shoes or the other item that tag along with pollys. They really need to find a better organizational storage for these dolls small parts to market.. I really think the manufactures need to spend some time cleaning up a hugh polly collection mess to appreciate the key to organizing them.Or have the unpleasant experience of a missing shoe and tears streaming. I agree that plastic storage containers are the way to go the nice ones with the drawers in the smaller size are much more functional.
ONLY good thing about this case is: for travel with a small assortment of dolls and fashions. (which you could do with a small purse.
Not worth the cash.

Not really a toy even, but...
...everybody with toys needs storage for them, and my kids seem drawn to cases or containers that are "made" for a specific toy.Trouble is, these options are rarely big enough to fit all of the accessories kids accumulate, so they outgrow them fast and you end up using a big 'ol Rubbermaid container like you should have done in the first place.That said, my daughter does enjoy "organizing" her Polly Pockets in this little case -- it has small elastic loops for holding the dolls -- and as such it's been a good tool for teaching her to put her toys away.That's why I gave it a 3 stars for "educational value". ... BEST DRESS UP EVER
I bought this for a Halloween costume for my two year old.The real Halloween costumes cost between $10-$14 and were flimsy.This is durable, can be worn rain or shine and has been.It doesn't come with BOOTS but my son just wears his winter boots.He loves it.In addition my daughter, 4 years old, also enjoys playing with it.There is a walkie talkie that makes siren noises, a a squirt fire extinguisher (though I have never filled it with water) a blow up hose and of course, the fave- an axe.It is not dangerous.This set is DURABLE.The latches are a little difficult for the two year old but no problem for the four year old.It is well worth the money since it is not only worn at Halloween but year round.They have several different costumes from the same company- a chef, veterinarian, police officer and they all look wonderful. ... One of my son's favorite toys
My son absolutely loves his Imaginext toys.He got his first ones when he was 3 1/2 and is getting more for his fourth birthday.I was very hesitant about getting the sets as others had said that they fall apart very easily.I have not found this to be true.My son carries this to his sister's room without anything coming apart.There are small pieces that could be lost and it does require adult assembly at my son's age.This line of toys is the only thing my son has said that he wants for his birthday.

I recommend this for anyone (just wait till you hear the different voices your child creates for the bad guys and good guys!!!

Fun and Chilling Pirate Setting
Both as a father and as a toy collector I really love the Imaginext toys from Fisher Price, especially the playsets.I find them extremely well-made and detailed nad easy for kids to use.Most of all they are very fun and give kids a real sense of wonder and adventure that is lacking in so many toys today.

The Phantom Island playset is designed for use with their other Pirate themed figures and playsets although it can stand alone on it's own.This spooky playset is two-part island/lagoon and the hideout of Captain Bones and his band of skeleton pirates.There's treasure to be found hidden on the island but you have to get past Captain Bones' devious traps including a spiked pendulum and skeleton cages.Also has a volcano that can be set off.The Set comes with two skeleton pirates and a glow-in-the-dark skeletal boat for travel.The Island's large skull also glows in the dark.

My 2 1/2 year old loves all things scary and just loves playing with this set.Fun and well-made.

COOL!We love the volcano!
We just got this... GREAT.The eldest daughter and I had it together in less than ten minutes (we are the builders) then the other three kids jumped in to work it and play with the features.Now the two older kids (11 girl/12 boy) and I are trying to come up with a combined island with our two Buccaneer Bay sets and some of the other tree pieces from the lost fortress... we want a BIG island to explore.

Our favorite feature?It's a tie.First the HAMMOCK!Whooo - we were using Lost Fortress rope ladders on the Buccaneer Bay playset for forever!And then the TORCHES... "The tribe has spoken!"Whooo!More Survivor meets Imaginext fun! ... Read more

great costume!
MY 6 YEAR OLD WORE THIS FOR HALLOWEEN LAST YEAR AND EVERYBODY LOVED IT!VERY GOOD COSTUME!HE STILL WEARS IT AROUND THE HOUSE!IT IS MADE VERY GOOD!

You can't go wrong
whether your child loves superheroes or any kind of dress up - this is a winner!A great price, very comfortable and one of their favorites under the tree (we bought the Superman, too).My kids are 3 (slightly over 35 lbs.) and 5 - the fit is fine.They jut up just a bit at the shoulders, but since it is soft foam, not a hard plastic, this has no affect on their play or enjoyment.The capes are long for the shorter guys, but I haven't seen any tripping yet and they basically haven't taken them off since the 25th.If you think the length might cause a problem, the fabric is easily trimmed with scissors, there is no hem.

You can't lose with this one!!

Great buy for the Little person that loves Batman
My son got this for his fourth birthday.The costume is quite large for small children, but he did not care and it was amazing to see him play and grow into it.My son who is now eight, told me to write a review as we were looking at toy ideas for Christmas.He thought the costume was really fun to play with, and wanted other parents to know it would be a good gift for kids that liked batman.

The costume held up pretty well under many hours of crime fighting in our home.This was an excellent value for my son. He literrally spent hundreds of hours in this costume over the years. For the price, it will be hard to find a better value for your child. You will smile as you watch your child use their imagination, and play with their friends keeping your home safe from evil doers. I love this costume! I run around the house yelling spells from the books as I point my wand at couches, tables, desks, books, etc. I even cover the badge sometimes and put it over my head and pretend to be He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. This is the best costume I have!

Excellent buy for any Harry Potter fan!
This was a great find for my 6 yr old son. He loves Harry Potter and was thrilled with the robe, wand, glasses and stickers. The robe was a nice soft material, not that itchy stuff that costumes are usually made of.The glasses were made with real glass and metal, not cheap plastic.The wand is plastic, but still pretty durable.My son wore the scar tattoo and was thrilled he was "just like Harry Potter".

The costume came in a nice box, and for $13.88 was a great deal! My kids are still playing with it even after Halloween.

Great For Harry Potter Wannabe's
I purchased this as a halloween costume for my 5-yr old son and he absolutely loves it. He runs through the house casting spells with the wand that comes with it. The glasses are made with real glass lenses so you need to be carefull with them.The only problem we had with it was the clasps for the robe that came with the set were flimsy and the glue that is used to hold the decoration onto them is very weak. Fairy Tale Castle Great for Imagination
I am a teacher and frequently use Playmobile products to bring history alive. My students, both boys and girls love to pretend with the Playmobile Fairy Tale castle.

A Little Girls Dream
My daughter has had the Fairy Tale Castle for over two years now and still loves to play with it. I have purchase other add-ons (knights, dragon, horses, waterfall, scenery, etc.) and gave them to my daughter for Birthdays, Easter baskets, and even for doing well in school. Beside the two designs that Playmobil has shown, you can create your own castle. It is sturdy and is an excellent toy for the imagination.

Great Toy - 6 hours construction time
My daughther is 4 years old and loves to play with the castle.

Great Toy!!!!!!
This Little People Toy is Great and So Much Fun!!!!! I bought it for Christmas for My Nephew and my sister tells me he Loves it!!!!! He Loves to hear the Sounds, and put the Firefighter to Bed and the down the Drop Hole to his Truck! He also has learned from it! Just a Great Toy and a Great Gift to anyone!! Fisher Price Does It Again
For an absolutely wonderful way to expand your child's imagination, fisher price has the goods. ALL of their toys are well built and able to withstand even the most adventorous toddlers, my son adores this product. I bought it for my neice and she loves it as well. You can't go wrong with anything with the FP name.

Disappointed ... not as good as most Little People toys

All little kids love it
We have one that we bought several years ago when our niece was 11.She loved it and over time we bought two more stories and all the furniture we could find.All little kids love it and can't keep away from it.We keep the extra pieces in a tool bag next to the house.It takes a grown-up to put it together, but it's worth it. We keep it on a piece of cloth on a wooden cabinet, because it could scratch the wood as kids slide it around. I only wish I bought it when my niece was younger. After age 12, she is fond of it, but does not play with it.By the way, think of this as part of the decor, because there is no such thing as putting it away.It is too big and cannot easily be picked up, unless maybe you screw it to a piece of plywood.

Gorgeous and Easy To Put Together
I loved this thing the first time I saw it assembled.So I purchaed it for my grand niece.I was afraid that I would not have the time to put it together, given what the other reviews said (one says a day and a half).Well, maybe I have a penchant for such kits, but it took me about 2 1/2 hours, spread over a couple of days.The instructions made it amazingly easy.So far, I see no problem with the roof, either.Once you snap it together correctly and have the roof "crown" firmly in place, it seems to be fine.As other reviews have stated, the thing is gorgeous.Well worth every penny I spent for it.

A Lot of Work but Worth It
This dollhouse has shown that a lot of imagination and thought went into this piece.The only draw back is that it is VERY labor-intensive, but worth the effort.Older children MAY be able to put it together, but I would recommend they have adult assistance.One adult could put it together in one day - maybe a day and a half.The base and first level alone have around 100 parts so patience would be the best thing to have plenty of. ... A Beautiful, Well Made Barn
My girls; 4,3,&1 years old; received this for Christmas. It's been a hit. Nothing has broken, even when being played with by 5 horse crazy girls. I purchased Schleich horses to go with it, and most (just not the biggest draft type horses) fit perfectly inside. The animals that came with it are fine, but a few of them are pretty scary with orange/red eyes. The animals I remember coming with it were horse, pig, cow, dog, and turkey. HTH

A Terrific Toy for Imaginative Fun!
I got this for my 2 year old twins.They love it.They put the animals in different compartments of the barn, open and close the doors, stalls, and the barn itself.It's a little pricey, but it really is a beautifully made toy.The animals are also very nicely detailed, very sturdy, and no small parts.

It's holding up wonderfully, with nary a scratch.We got this as a follow-up to a disappointing purchase with a plastic Noah's ark toy, whose doors were always falling off.(Okay, I'm probably spoiling my kids a bit...)At any rate, the ark is in park, but Noah's animals are welcome to come visit the barnyard.

awesome size and durabilty-- great for a young one
It really is very durable, all you have to do is push enough to lock legs in place- we have had NO problems with them staying in place. My child got it when he was 1 1/2 and is now 3 and still plays with it in his own imaginative way. It is also perfect if you don't want the big/huge workshops

Little Tool Men
My son has had this toy for a long time, about 3 years. He loved it when he was a toddler, about 18 months and his sister enjoys it now as well. She is 17 months.
It has stood up to allot of play. Great toy! Defenately recomment this as a gift!

A Big Disappointment
My daughter received this as a birthday present when she turned two.Unfortuantely, the directions for assembly were unclear, pictures only, and almost impossible to figure out.This toy was not at all what I thought it would be.My daughter loves to pretend to "fix" things and adores any kind of tools, but this toy was flimsy, hard to use (the gears are very tight), and very small for a two year old.We wanted something she could stand at to "work" on, but this is much too short.We returned it within a day of receiving it. ... This is a must have for all, hands down...
You haven't lived until Charlie McCarthy has sat in your house and talked. I wanted a dummy since I was about 6, and on my 11th birthday, I finally got it (A 5 year wait. Kinda annoying). I wanted one because of the Goosebumps(tm) series character "Slappy". I was hyperactive when I heard they were going to release a live action series. So I sat with a HUGE bowl of popcorn... and the dummy looked awful. His eyebrows, mouth, face, and hair were all different. I won't go into the details. It takes to long. Anyways, I heard that there was a Slappy eddition doll and I immidiately wanted it. My mom said no way, and I understand why. I was 11, and I was afraid of the dark. I could see him sitting in the closet. His eyes glowing. It would have terrified me. So, my mom suggested a Slappy lookalike, because even so, I wasn't thrilled that I couldn't get Slappy. I saw this one with a monocle and tux, so I asked my mom about it. She was amazed at how easy I got over Slappy and ordered my a Charlie. Then, on my birthday, I got him. I was excited and immidiately searched high and low for books on ventriloquism. I found a few, got some webpages, and now I'm pretty good at it. My baby brother love Charlie a lot. He likes to see him talk, because charlie seems so real to him. A must for anyone, and a NO QUESTIONS ASKED must for Big brothers and sisters with baby siblings. A great product, worth every penny. Buy it!

Not quite a good fit
I ussually love Melissa and doug toys but I found this one to be poorly made. I bought this for my 4 year old daughter and was very disappointed that the dolls would not fit in their stand, I think the dolls are too heavy and akward. The clothes are supposed to be magnetic but they easily slide off the dolls. We had to do a lot of improvising with this set. As with all Melissa and Doug toys, they are extremely durable and because of this I still gave it a three star rating.

Great doll dress up for small hands
My 3 year old daughter has this dress up set and it is great for little hands that are not coordinated enough yet to dress and undress actual Barbi dolls.She loves changing their outfits and switching their accessories - and I love that she can do this without any frustration.Mellissa and Doug toys are made with the quality of older toys - they are well constructed and made to last - and the sturdy box allows for easy clean up and storage.
