Fun for kids, bad for parents
My little boy (2 1/2) loved this toy when he first got it two months ago.My biggest complaint with the toy is that it has such obnoxious sound effects that go off with the slightest little movement.(Really, I think that sometimes it might go off just by looking at it the wrong way!)I probably wouldn't keep it around if my boy didn't like it so much.I suppose most toys are noisy, and most don't bother me, but this one does.

Not much going on here...........
This looked cute at first but there's not much to it. My 2 year old plays with it only occassionaly and usually it's his little plasticFinding Nemo characters that are using it as a house. I had to take the batteries out of it since every slight movement turns it into an ear wrenching experience. My son has actually told me to make it stop. But it's not all bad. It's just very basic and the noises it makes are terrible.

it doesn't do much

Great Toy
My little girl got this 2 years ago (at least). At least two plates have been lost in the sandbox, some of the utinsels have been broken (stepped on) or lost, but other than that, she still loves this set and uses it all the time. If your little girl likes playing make believe, she'll love this set!

Fun and durable
My in-laws bought this as a gift for my 19mos old son and he has loved it from the moment it was open.He is really into things with wheels right now and he loves to push the cars around.We also purchased two extra cars that go with the set and he learned quickly how to open the big car and put the little cars inside or on top.There are also indentations on each car where the big truck can "tow" them. A bit better than the house
The magnets on this thing are not nearly strong enough to hold the weight of any of the figures, especially if the car is moving. The string mechanism only works sometimes, and gets messed up alittle if the car is pushed in reverse. The idea is good, but not well executed. How hard is it to make a magnet work? There is no point to the two street signs. They are just something for parents to accidentally step on. ... Read more

What a great idea!
And what fun bedtime is now! My guys (2 and 4 year olds) love acting out the activities. The Pilly Winks are delighful friends to spin, march, hop, quack and snuggle with. I sent the Pilly Winks pillows and book along with my kids to my sister's (their aunt) for a sleepover and it made bedtime easier for her, too. I especially liked that the whole activity doesn't take a long time...but is a special time. Very cute.

Finally, a normal bedtime!
We love this product!Our 4 year old was; to say the least, a difficult child to get to bed.She knew all the excuses and every night turned into a hassle just to get her to sleep.Then we were given Pillywinks as a gift.
Bedtime now consists of reading one book (instead of 10) and fun activities that seem to use up that excess bedtime energy children seem to have.She sleeps with all the pillows and now the only problem we are having is getting her to let her little brother sleep with one.Maybe a Pillywink version regarding sharing would be good? ... Very cute and fun!
