5-0 out of 5 stars nice
my daughter pulled this thing around FOREVER!!- its nice cause it has wheels andtalks to her

3-0 out of 5 stars This is...
This phone is the best toy I have ever observed, and yet at the very same time, the worst.I love it, but then again I hate it.I need it, but also I could do without it.It's as if this phone is a delicate flower, blossoming in my mind, as I decide whether it is good or bad. It's like a waffle, burning in the waffle iron, as I ponder on this most chillingly perplexing item.I feel as if I just want to hug this phone, and then smash it to the ground.Thank you for listening to my most interesting quandry.

2-0 out of 5 stars Eh...
I'm disspointed, I thought this was going to be a big hit.I was wrong. Here are a sampling of my problems with this toy:

1. The handle doesn't stay on the base well.

2. The cord is too short (granted this is probably a mandatory safety issue so we can't hold the manufacturer responsible), so your head has to be very akwardly close to the base to "talk" into the receiver.

3. It's on wheels but can't be pulled by the phone handle b/c that comes out of the side, and again is fairly short.

4. In voice (versus music) mode, it says the number you press than beeps; if you press a series of numbers, i.e. 1, 2, 3, it will say those numbers as you press them without beeping inbetween - but if you press the same number twice in a row it will not repeat the number, it will just go on finishing the appropriate number of beeps - so... the child can't practice dialing numbers since many real phone numbers have the same number in repetition such as 555-1234 (it would say 5 and beep 5 times even as you press the 5 key twice more).

5. The button to make the dog holding the phone pop up is hard for little children to press (have to press hard to work).

6. My son has had this from about 6 months to now 20 months and it RARELY gets played with.We rotate toys so he's not overwhelmed with choices, but I've always kept this one in the mix and he almost never plays with it.So, above all my complaints, the fact is that the child just doesn't think it fun enough to play with. ... Editorial Review

When little wobblers are bored with walls and sofa edges, andthere's no one to offer a hand, they can two-foot it safely across thatopen ocean of living-room floor with the help of the Step Start walker. This dual-purpose toy acts as stable support as they learn to walk, then lets them roll along when they want to ride. Once they are secureon their legs, the walker converts easily to a first ride-on toy. (Onlyadults can operate the wheel-lock mechanism.) A flexible antenna, spinning drum, clicking gear, and other sight-touch-sound featuresprovide sit-down play fun. Assembly requires a Phillips screwdriver.--Ava Natov ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Her first car.....
Yes, my daughter treated this as her very first car. She parked it, and was very territorial with it. This all lasted about 6-8 months. Now she just uses it as a secret storage. If we can't find something of hers, we can always look in the little compartment and find what's missing!! I love this item as she played with all of the features on it. She didn't push herself until she was almost 18 months old, laziness is my guess. I recommend this as an indoor ride on.

4-0 out of 5 stars It Gets the Job Done
We bought this for our son when he started cruising at about 8 months. At first he was only interested in the noise makers but as he gained confidence he started to really move around with it and now he LOVES it.It has also helped him increase his balance. The base isn't really wide enough for new walkers as they tend to walk with their legs wider apart but our son didn't have any problem working around that. You do need to be careful on floors that aren't carpeted since the wheels will move fast - maybe too fast for a little one.I chose this particular model because it's one of the few on the market WITHOUT noise and lights, etc.It was easy enough to put together but it does take some practice to make the conversion from ride-on to walker.Once you get it, it's a breeze - just make sure you test it with a tug before you let baby have at it.It's very cute and our son loves the toys on it and likes to make a game of "hiding" toys in the storage compartment.

5-0 out of 5 stars Son loved this car!
Our son loved this car.He used it a lot when learning to walk.Just make sure you get it snapped into position when using it for walking. After using it for walking he used it as a car.He got good use out of it. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars The paint wears off quickly!
This is a cute little fire engine. However, we have been very disapointed because the paint wore off after just 1-2 months! It is so faded that someone asked us if it was an antique!!

3-0 out of 5 stars Fun toy but difficult to ride
My son loves this fire engine! He likes to play with the bell and the horn, but it is difficult for a parent to push due to the turning radius. It's hard to steer, and barely able to push it in a straight path. This toy is fun, but hard work for the parent and child.

2-0 out of 5 stars Very cute, but very hard to steer
This is an adorable lil' fire engine, and my twin sons love the look of the toy, and enjoy playing with the bell and the horn. But it is also VERY heavy, awkward and has very little in the way of turning radius. The steering wheel just barely turns left and right. This frusterates them more often than not, which is why I rate the toy only a 2 for fun. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun for Mommy and Baby!!
I just bought this toy for my 7 month old son and he just loves it. It makes all sortsof little noises and has such bright colors. he loves to roll around on the floor with it and drag it wherever he goes. It's a little big to hang from his car-seat...but he still likes to have it with him in the car. I totally recommend this toy to anyone with an infant.

5-0 out of 5 stars We love Stretch!
I bought `Mr. Stretch' several weeks ago to lively up the play mat for the now 4 month old I take care of. Her play mat was so boring and dull (it's by Carter's, the absolute worst play mat around, the colors are completely blah and non-exciting). I was going to go purchase `Hal the Horse', I recently bought that Lamaze toy for my 4-month-old cousin Isabel and she loves HIM. But when I saw Stretch, I fell in love with him and so did Hayley once I put her on the mat to play. She will play on there for a good hour, grabbing his legs and screaming with joy. The colors are just wonderful for her to look at, he has wonderful textures on both his legs and feet. She loves feeling all the ribbons around his feet, she just thinks he's the best! He's a definite winner and it stimulated her so much that she rolled over! She was determined to get to him and she did! Now she rolls over non-stop! Very highly recommended on my list (and the Tiny Love Gymini play mats are the best on the market if your shopping for one, definite no to Carter's or any of the others).

5-0 out of 5 stars Lots of fun.
This is a great toy. It packs a lot of textures, colors, and features into one item that's easy to transport; and it smiles while doing so. My 10-month-old loves it, right down to the little ribbons on top of the head. Oh, and the head squeaks when you squeeze it. What more could a kid want?

5-0 out of 5 stars A Great Baby Toy!
This is a very well designed toy. Our 6 month old loves all the colors and textures. She plays with the Octivity Time every day. It's great because she likes everything from the little ribbons to the attached teether and rings. This is a great toy to take along on outings because of all the diverse activities it provides.

4-0 out of 5 stars 4 month old and toddler love it alike!
We just purchaced this toy and they both seem to love it! The fun textures and color paterns are a bit hit! I think that the spinning star is a bit dificult for a child under one to figure out, but like I said great for older siblings! I've found that most lamaze toys really do grow with your child. I just found my two year old cradling the monkey lamaze makes and pushing her in her buggy! ... Read more

Unzip this 10-by-14-inch, bright turquoise, soft cloth book, and you'll find two animal-packedalphabet trains spanning both pages. Each train car is a pocket, and each pocket is embroidered with aletter of the alphabet. Inside the pockets you'll find friendly little pillow animals, each one marked with aletter of the alphabet: the pink elephant rides in the E car, and the green alligator rides in the A car.Your child will love taking the animals out of the pockets and stuffing them back in (a favorite toddleractivity). You'll have fun teaching your child the names of the animals and letters, such as N for newtand X for xenops. When playtime is over, your toddler can zip the whole gang safely inside, grab thesturdy handle, and tote the little animals to their next destination. --Elisabeth Fredrickson ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Fabulous Learning !!!!
I bought this for my daughter when she was 1 1/2 years old last christmas. She loves it, (and so do I).She still pulls it out to play with.Amazingly enough, we have never lost an animal for more than a few weeks.Since there is a space for each animal, it is a great storage too.You are able to see if you have everything when it is put away.Which leads to another great part about this toy, my daughter LOVES to put all the animals back in their "garages" (as my daughter calls it).Very soon after we bought this, she was memorizing her letters and telling me what each animal was.Since they all have matching letters on the animals and their "garages" it helps the younger ones find out where each goes.I can't say enough good things about this.I hate to buy toys that get put in the toy box and never get pulled out again. But this one has definately kept her attention. When you put that with the educational opportunity, how can you resist it?It is cute!Oh and you know how you get tired of playing the same toys with your children? This one is fun for the adults too. I forgot to mention one of the most important details. There is a form you get with the toy to order more animals if you lose any.

5-0 out of 5 stars My favorite toy for my kids!
This was a gift to my newborn boy, but my 2 1/2 year old adores it!
Pros:
1.helps teach letters (each animal has the letter that starts its name on its back)
2.compact, portable
3.cute!
4.animals good for other play (my daughter likes to pretend to "save" them when they are stuck in a tree, or have them ride in her "airplane" (shoe)... and much much more
5.OK for babies (although the animals are smallish, ~ 3inches tall, they never presented a choking hazard for my son -- who likes to chew them)
6.The animals machine wash well (see chewing note above :))
Cons:
1.Lots of pieces to lose -- we lost the lion for quite a while, but he showed up behind the entertainment center
2.Some of the animals are not so recognizable -- I think "N" is a newt, but it's hard to tell.

Despite the few cons, this is probably my favorite toy that my kids have. Thus, 5 stars all around!

5-0 out of 5 stars Melody pleasing to the ear
The toddle tunes push along is a much needed improvement from the corn popper which can give a person a headache with too much popping. The toddle tunes has two options for music. One option allows an entire melody to be played even if moved just an inch. The second option plays different notes as long as it is moving. The wheeling device is well designed with a rubberized grip around each wheel.Another nice feature of the push along is its ability to stand up straight--even in the middle of the room. Our 12 month old has been walking for 2 months but has not mastered the coordination for the toddle tunes push along. He does grip the handle and push it back and forth like a vacuum cleaner and gets a few notes. We expect that this will be a big hit with our walking boy in a few months. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Fun, but not durable
We used the trike for about 2 weeks before the handle broke. Our son is at the age right now that the handle is very important. We are looking to see how we can order just a handle.Once he gets a little older, I'm sure he will love peddling it!:) The bike itself is very sturdy...just bad handle!

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Bike, but Won't last long
I got this bike in September for my 2 year old. We've had a great 6 weeks with it, but recently the handle started moving to one side and then yesterday it broke completely off leaving only a tricycle with no handle to push.

The weld holding the handle on to the bike was poorly done and it broke off after only 6 weeks of use. I was still able to return it to TRU , but the new one has a leaning handle so I expect to return this one in a month for a different product...IT was a GREAT Bike...While it lasted:( ... Read more

A tinier version of the traditional Radio Flyer steel trike, this 10-inch classic couldn't get any cuter without an anxious toddler onboard. Wide handlebars with grips, matching red pedals, a step in back for piggybacking, and a wide two-color seat give it a distinctly retro look. But its old-fashioned style doesn't take away from its functionality--the ride is smooth.--Diane Beall ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars For older kids
I bought this for my son's 2nd birthday. He is turning 3 in a few weeks and finally can touch the pedels. This toy should be for 3 and up. It has been basicly sitting on my porch for a year untouched. And the weather here is nice all year. Also a wheel felloff. He barely ever used the bike. now he can reach the pedels and he can't ride it because we have to go buy a cap to hold on the wheel.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not the best you can buy - needs to be heavier
We bought this tricycle for our three-year-old and had the same problem as everyone else here has - the steering on the handlebars just doesn't stay put. We've had to adjust ours numeous times too.It gets used, but it just isn't all that safe. You HAVE to use a helmet with this guy because it's VERY easy to tip over, which is a huge deal for the age group for which this is intended. It's nice that they kept the classic styling but there's one thing they shouldn't have kept - how dastardly easy it is to get your foot under that back bar and scrape the top of your foot!I did that a zillion times as a kid and now, I'm doing it again with my child's bike!I HATE that! And, I have the scars to prove it.

All-in-all, if you like nostalgia, then by all means, avail yourself of this product. But quite frankly, I'd buy something else more study.I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND anyone letting their child use this product unsupervised. It just tips over way too much.I get the willies each time I see this guy go down the driveway.Good thing I've been there each time this thing has tipped over.

2-0 out of 5 stars Cute, but not safe
We have been very disappointed with this trike. Not only will the steering wheel not stay positioned properly, but it is very tippy and dangerous. My son has had this trike for a year, and now at 3 it is still a hazard.Children sit up so high and the broad turning radius causes the trike to tip over very easily causing a big fall.We are going to buy a Kettler instead and anticipate better results.Cute to look at, but best left at the store, at least for 3 year olds. ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Get A Garden Cart Instead!
After looking at the decline in quality and increase in ridiculously high prices with regards to the Radio Flyer line of wagons, we ended up buying a lovely red garden cart from a local garden store for a fraction of the cost of the largest Radio Flyer wagon. It has real rubber tires, enough room for all three of our kids, deep sides that prevent falling out, and glides like dream! We just added a nice padded liner for comfort and away to the park we all go!There is also a 400lb weight capacity, so it can be used for plenty of yard projects as well!

2-0 out of 5 stars Not worth the money
We bought this wagon a couple of years ago. I must agree with one of the reviewers, it rusts. We had to finally throw it away. It is uncomfortable for the kids and if they are too young they have a hard time staying in because the sides are not that high and there are no seat belts. I would recommend buying a different wagon especially if you have more than one child.

5-0 out of 5 stars The kidzzz loved it!
We found this brand new wagon beside our garbage dump...
It was just there with the cardboard shipping paper still in it!Well, to say the least...my husband took it and my 10 year old and 29 month old just had a ball!
they have gone to the patio and just played with it or walked around the complex with it.The 10 year old likes to be in it with her sister...
So, embarrassing, it wasn't!She had more fun than all of us!

Radio Flyer's answer to the SUV, this standard red wagon (32 by13.5 inches internally) comes with a set of wooden extender rails thatattach to the metal body with 10 bolts, more than doubling theeffective capacity. (With the rail, it has a depth of over 9 inches.)Note, however, that the rails are .25-inch stock--too weak to withstandheavy loads like rocks or firewood. 4-0 out of 5 stars Nice little wagon
This is a nice wagon but we have had the same trouble as others - the wood sides just don't hold up.They fall out all the time and it just gets aggravating.Wish I would have thought about an all-terrain wagon - that certainly would have lasted longer and I wouldn't be so aggravated. The assembly was okay, but I just think for the money, you could get something that was a little nicer and would hold up better.I'm thinking about replacing ours with something more sturdier. Our little one is quite rambunctious with things and this wagon really has trouble keeping up with our little one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Wagon
I bought this wagon for my son when he turned 2 yrs old.My son is 3 1/2 now and the wagon is still in great shape! We keep it in his room and he uses it to store all of his toys during the cold months. When it's nice outside, I take him out in the wagon and he has a ball.I don't see any signs of chipping and the wooden sides are still sturdy.I highly recommend the Radio Flyer Trav-ler Wagon!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for Occupying
I bought this for my sone when he was 10 months old.He used to just pull on the legs and try to push the buttons. Now, he is 14 months old and still playing with it.He touches the letters on top and is putting the legs in the slots. He has pigured out to just push the tabs in to make it talk though. It keeps in occupied as well as teaches him his colors, shapes, bugs, some alphabets. It can get a bit annoying though.I figured out why! When the batteries get low, it turns on all by itself and talks by itself without any touching it.That's when I know to change them. "Wiggle Wiggle, play with my legs to learn colors and shapes" is one of the sayings. In my opinion, it somewhat encourages your child to paly with it too!

5-0 out of 5 stars A great all-around toy
I purchased this toy as a gift for my 13-month old niece.I was pleased with every aspect of this toy:the size is big and chunky for easily handling; the colors are bright and fun; the lights and sounds are good; the wheels have a funny weeble-wobble effect when you pull the toy; you can easily keep the toy clean by wiping it; the pull-cord is actually long enough to use!.... need I go on?It's great.
I disagree with the reviewer who thinks that the shapes are hard to get into the proper spots because the legs are too short.I didn't think this was a problem at all.
As an added bonus, our 83-year-old great-grandma also had a ball playing with this toy... and yes, she has full use of her faculties. She just found the toy to be clever and fun.
I recommend this for yourself or a gift.

5-0 out of 5 stars Introduced by our son's occupational therapist
My son who is now 17 months old was first exposed to this toy 3 months ago by his occupational therapist. He immediately loved it and soon mastered putting the shapes in their slots. Although he is not yet walking, (due to being in the hospital for six months) he loves to sit and pull this toy towards himself. Now that his therapy is over I am purchasing this toy for Christmas. It's already a proven winner. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars My three year old loves it
My two year old boy has never shown much interest in toys, but lately he has been dragging stuff around, so I thought a pull toy will be suitable. He just turned three and I got him the pull dog for his birthday. In anticipation to the short cord, I bought a pair of shoe laces and used one to extend the cord.It works fine.He absolutely loves it and plays with it all day long. The dog is smaller than I expected, but well designed to suit its purpose. It lands on its "feet" almost all the time no matter how many obstacles it has to pass; it rolls on any surface, including carpet. Its head shakes and its tails wags as promised, but its bark is less than desirable. It is so loud!It is a cracking sound that doesn't resemble barking and can definitely drive any adult crazy. All said, it is the first toy my boy has ever shown interest, and I certainly don't regret buying it.I am going to put tape on its belly to muffle the sound, though.

4-0 out of 5 stars It's really a push toy.
The string is way too short to pull this toy, but my twins both enjoyed pushing it around on the ground (rather like a car or truck), at least until they started walking.

5-0 out of 5 stars Max has lasting appeal...
Max has been a favorite toy at our house since we brought him home over six years ago.Our kids had a half a dozen or so pull toys but only Max kept their interest.Yes, the string is ridiculously short. However, I easily found a replacement and my kids were off and running with Max at their heels.Even now when our youngest two are almost four, Max is still popular.I think it's just that he's a dog that they can walk all by themselves. We highly recommend this toy! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars to fit the Big Red Stake Wagon...
For the Big Red Stake Wagon [has wood rails (that say "big red ATW) around one end of the wagon] you must install the seat so the child's back is facing the handle or you need to take the rails off.The seat strap does fit around the wagon but you must adjust the straps at all three ends. They must be all the way at the end of the strap including the end that has the CAUTION label (i removed the label to secure the buckle to the strap). This is the only way the safety strap will fit completely around the wagon.

5-0 out of 5 stars It fits!
I just received my wagon seat today and was scepticle on whether it would fit my wagon or not after reading the other reviews.Well it fit.I have the Big Red Stake (ATW) which is 50% deeper than the standard wagon and it also has the wooden rails. The seat needs to be installed on the opposite end of the rails and the (3) buckles of the strap need be closest the ends.I also needed to remove the CAUTION label to use that part of the strap - but it does fit! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Nice addition to my son's wagon
I ordered this for model #1800(Exclusive Big Red Stake Wagon). It fits perfectly and is comfortable. I was tired of using blankets that kept slipping around against the metal bed. This pad is vinyl and stays put. Can be easily wiped clean .

5-0 out of 5 stars Great pad for the right wagons
This little bed pad is perfect for the Radio Flyer models: #89, #90, #95, #98, #99, #18, #22, #24, #28, #31, #32, #1800. Make sure to purchase the special pad if you own the Model #29 All-Terrain Cargo Wagon. The radio flyer website explains the difference. My 2-year old is able to take longer rides in our wagon (#32) with the pad - he's not nearly so antsy to kneel or stand as he was on the metal alone.

1-0 out of 5 stars Pad is to short for wagon
I purchased the all-terrain cargo wagon from toysrus and they referred me to you for ordering the umbrella and pad. I chose the pad only and it doesn't fit. I took it to the ranch where we are using the wagon and it is too short. Do you have a pad for the #29? Thanks for your help ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money
I purchased this toy for my grandchildren. It arrived a month ago and both boys loved it at first.Within a few days of arrival, it stopped quacking. We tried changing the batteries to no avail.
The wheels fall apart from the ducks body pretty quickly and the string attachment is a choking hazard.I have never been more disappointed in a purchase from Amazon as much as this one.
I would not recommend this product unless you want to be throwing the toy & your money away.

5-0 out of 5 stars My Duck Duck
My son was a few months over one and I took him with me to Babies R Us to buy his spring and summer wardrobe. Well the toys were right across the aisle from the clothes. I turned around to see that he had gotten this toy off of the shelf and was pulling it down the aisle. When I went and picked him up and tried to put the toy back he cried, "Momma my Duck Duck, NO!" That was honestly the most words I had ever heard him put together... what mother could say no after that. So we bought the toy and he loves it. He pulls it with him all the time. I would recommend this toy to anyone. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars We can't leave home without it!
My 10 month old loves this dinosaur. His 4 year old brother picked it out for him about 2 months ago, and he's been obsessed with it ever since. His favorite part is the ribbons on the tail, although he does play with other parts of it as well. It has so far proved to be very durable, and still looks like new after 2 months of being toted everywhere. It is currently attached to the carseat with Link A Doos (clipped to the seat belt guides that he won't need for several years yet). It should be noted that it is not machine washable, however. It would be nice if it could be thrown in the wash, but so far surface washing seems to do the trick. Everything Owen has gotten on it thus far has wiped right off with a damp cloth, even if I didn't get to it right away. I'm not sure how long that will last, though. I would have rated it 5 stars if it was machine washable, and maybe a few dollars cheaper. This is more than I would normally spend on a toy. Overall, though, I am quite pleased with this toy, and might buy a few of the other animals to give him some variety. ... Read more
