5-0 out of 5 stars Nice addition to my son's wagon
I ordered this for model #1800(Exclusive Big Red Stake Wagon). It fits perfectly and is comfortable. I was tired of using blankets that kept slipping around against the metal bed. This pad is vinyl and stays put. Can be easily wiped clean .

5-0 out of 5 stars Great pad for the right wagons
This little bed pad is perfect for the Radio Flyer models: #89, #90, #95, #98, #99, #18, #22, #24, #28, #31, #32, #1800. Make sure to purchase the special pad if you own the Model #29 All-Terrain Cargo Wagon. The radio flyer website explains the difference. My 2-year old is able to take longer rides in our wagon (#32) with the pad - he's not nearly so antsy to kneel or stand as he was on the metal alone.

1-0 out of 5 stars Pad is to short for wagon
I purchased the all-terrain cargo wagon from toysrus and they referred me to you for ordering the umbrella and pad. I chose the pad only and it doesn't fit. I took it to the ranch where we are using the wagon and it is too short. Do you have a pad for the #29? Thanks for your help ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money
I purchased this toy for my grandchildren. It arrived a month ago and both boys loved it at first.Within a few days of arrival, it stopped quacking. We tried changing the batteries to no avail.
The wheels fall apart from the ducks body pretty quickly and the string attachment is a choking hazard.I have never been more disappointed in a purchase from Amazon as much as this one.
I would not recommend this product unless you want to be throwing the toy & your money away.

5-0 out of 5 stars My Duck Duck
My son was a few months over one and I took him with me to Babies R Us to buy his spring and summer wardrobe. Well the toys were right across the aisle from the clothes. I turned around to see that he had gotten this toy off of the shelf and was pulling it down the aisle. When I went and picked him up and tried to put the toy back he cried, "Momma my Duck Duck, NO!" That was honestly the most words I had ever heard him put together... what mother could say no after that. So we bought the toy and he loves it. He pulls it with him all the time. I would recommend this toy to anyone. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Toy!
We received this as a gift when my son was 6 months old and at the time he loved spining the mirror and the little barrel of beads. As he got older, he started to learn how to use all the other functions on the cube.He is 10 months now and I have to admit he plays with it less frequently but every so often, he will sit there and play with it for a good 5-10 min.Overall, I think this toy was awesome!!

1-0 out of 5 stars Outdated and boring
This toy is too simplistic and archaic. It didn't keep the attention of my 6 month old for very long. We returned it for the Infantino Activity Triangle and have been having fun ever since.

1-0 out of 5 stars Waste of Money
My husband and I bought this toy for our son a year 1/2 ago.We were so excited about having a "classic toy" to have for many years and hope to pass along.Yeah right. This thing had parts that kept coming apart, ie.. the saddle the ears, the leg.It now sits in our basement waiting for the trash.I hate to throw it away because we payed so much for it but it just has not lived up to the "Radio Flyer" standard.

2-0 out of 5 stars Dangerous probing ear
My 20 month old daughter received this for Christmas. At first we thought it was the best gift ever but when she got on and started rocking we realized she could send the wooden ear through her chin, eye or mouth. We sent it back soon after. It's nice that Radio Flyer still makes the classic toys but I think it's a huge safety hazard.

5-0 out of 5 stars One flaw in a perfect toy
I bought this rocking horse for my niece, and she adores it! I love the beauty and durability of its classic wooden structure. It has one major flaw, however. It's in the 'saddle', which is attached by two long wood screws that go up through a block into the bottom of the saddle. Unlike the rest of the horse, the base of the saddle is plastic. It didn't take very long at all for an industrious toddler to tear the saddle free. Fortunately, adults were watching and we retrieved the 2" sharp screws before she could play with them. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Loves It
This was the very first Thomas toy that we bought for my 2 year old.He now has several Thomas items and he still plays with it all the time (he even sleeps with it).The only bad part about it is that it is loud and annoying, but it does have an off switch to turn it off.

Overall, I think it was a great investment.

2-0 out of 5 stars Tips over when turning
My 2 and 1 yr. old love to play with this but they get frustrated. My kids don't always turn in a perfectly wide arc which is what this toy is designed for. Sometimes they'll make a sharp turn in the opposite direction. After turning around, the toy tips over. They fix it but when they turn again it tips again. I've had to teach my daughter to just expect the thing to tip and have a good attitude about it instead of getting frustrated and crying about it.

3-0 out of 5 stars It's Cute, But LOUD
This is a nice little train, although, it does tend to fall over a lot. When you pull the string it makes a chugging train sound then a loud horn noise. It's really really loud and scared my son the first few times. But now he seems to like the noise and occasionally dances to it, stangely enough. But for me, it's annoying. Thankfully there's an on/off switch. I would suggest this toy to die hard Thomas fans only. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A great addition to your Thomas collection.
I umm and aahh about spending this sort of money on a train table and playboard for my children but after doing my homework I decided this is the one I would buy.

Other train tables I have seen in stores are often wonky and seem quite unstable - and this is after they've been played on in the stores. So after seeing poorer quality tables for similar prices I decided to save up for the Thomas branded one and this single sided playboard.

Yes, it's expensive, but as with any "brand", it's the name you are paying for. If you want a Thomas collection of trains and accessories you are going to have to pay. I'm just starting our collection and am buying the "Thomas" trains and buildings, but found a compatible generic track for less than half the price. I was lucky enough to get this playboard at almost half price at a after Christmas sale. It's worth waiting for sales and price comparing.

It's beautifully painted and when used with the table frame is extremely strong (although I wouldn't recommend standing on it).

It's up to you to spend to decide if you want to spend this sort of money but I see this as something I won't ever have to replace and it's something my son can keep for his children. Toys like this will last!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great fun!
We just received this playboard a couple of days ago.My son loves it!He is almost 2 and really enjoys playing with all of his Thomas trains. This playboard makes playing more interesting. It arrived in fine condition...we didn't have the problem the other reviewer had.My son has a train table (not the Thomas one) and it fits perfectly. The playboard is a great addition to our Thomas the Tank Engine collection.

5-0 out of 5 stars Makes playing with our trains much more fun!!
We have a collection of Thomas and Brio trains and track, and use this playboard on a table that we built. While it is impossible to actually construct track that stays on "dry land" (some of the playboard scenery is rivers etc) this background scenery does add to our enjoyment of the playing with trains. The whole family (ages 1 to 30-something) enjoys constructing new layouts.

This board can easily be damaged in transit. Our second attempt was successful. I advise you to order this well before you need it.

NOTE: We've had this for 4 years or so now. The plastic coating has all peeled off. It still looks nice though and is being used by another toddler now. When we bought this, it was the only good option for playing with trains;now there are so many basic playtables that could be used for a multitude of activities (puzzles, cars, blocks) - that I would buy something more versatile rather than this train themed tabletop. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars For the Kid in every Adult
I bought this for a 1-year olds birthday about 7 years ago.My husband spent the month before the party, pulling the string. He was sad when I took it to the birthday girl.I looked high and low for another one for him. After about 8 months, I again found it.He loves it. It is such a stress buster as you simply gotta smile when you hear the Quack, quack, quack.

When my aunt and cousin (both adults) came to visit, they too fell in love with it.Unfortunately the store I had found it at was out again. This was 3 years ago.I found it again today and bought both the store had left.I plan to get some additional ones to have on hand.

I truly believe that every adult needs to "feed" the kid in him/her.So, if you think this toy is only for children 10 months - 5 years, think again.

5-0 out of 5 stars So popular
Who can understand the minds of children? I have 2 daugthers 4.5 and 2 years old. This toy has been a special favourite of theirs for quite some time. We only have one of it, so it has been an endless reason for crying and screaming because of its popularity. Both my wife and I are amazed that such a simple toy presents our girls with such seemingly endless joy and play. Yeah, the sounds get to you after a while, but they are certainly not the most annoying I have ever heard in a toy.

4-0 out of 5 stars I had it for both of my kids 6 and 1
It is a cute toy, when your child starts to walk they can learn how to pull it them selves. My 2nd child has been a crier, and I could pull it around and NO more crying. It is cute to pull around for your child and let them watch the ducks waddle. ... Read more

The leading lady of the big screen gem Thomas and the MagicRailroad, Lady is a beautiful magenta-and-gold engine who holds thesecret to the Magic Railroad. She measures a petite 2 inches long andhas exquisite detailing, including a wide-eyed, charming face and hername scripted on the side panels. This high-quality engine is stunningalone, but is also compatible with other wooden railway systems'magnetic train sets. 5-0 out of 5 stars After Two years of use it's time for another one
I was really disapointed when I found my Lady's paint chipped off in most places. We need a new one now and that's a bummer becase I have at least 70 thomas trains and most of them survived pretty well .

5-0 out of 5 stars For 18 months to 8 years: Be prepared to buy them all!
The Thomas train and train collections are durable toys. Their real value, though, is that playing with the toys allows children to act out the great Thomas and Friends children's stories they read and watch.

The only problem--if you can call it that--is that you can't just buy one! Your kids will want more and more. These are the most played with toys our son has. The characters are his friends, and we tell stories with Thomas, James, Gordon, and the rest of the gang.

Lady only appears in the Thomas and the Magic Railroad movie. But she is an important character, and the kids adore her. My own three-year old son was so overcome with excitement at the sight of Lady that for a long time he couldn't watch her when she first appeared on-screen and wouldn't play with her when we initially bought him this toy. She is magical, and kids pick up on that. THIS IS AN ESSENTIAL PIECE IF YOUR CHILD HAS SEEN THE THOMAS AND THE MAGIC RAILROAD MOVIE.Note that durability is an issue: the smokestack is very thin at the bottom and can easily snap off.

Purchasing recommendation:
* Choose which type of Thomas trains you will 'standardize' on. There are three kinds: This size of wooden trains from Learning Curve; larger, plastic, battery-operated trains from Tomy; and smaller, die-cast metal trains from Ertl. The wooden trains have the most products and accessories available.

* The clickety-clack (grooved to look like real railroad) track in the Thomas series is great, but it's expensive; I recommend buying generic track. ... You can literally save hundreds of dollars by buying these kinds of sets.

* Buy the Thomas and friends engines separately--and wait for sales. The kids care about the characters, so no short-cutting (ie., Brio or generic trains) here.

* Look for trains bundled with VHS videos. You can get a video and a train (on sale) for about the same price as a train alone.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good, but not what I expected

Edward is a cheerful blue worker train. Hauling coal, helping the big guys, hanging out in the train yard--this friendly fellow's goal in life is to be a really useful engine. This 3-inch sturdy wood engine and the accompanying 2-inch cargo car will surely get the job done every time. Based on the popular Thomas the Tank Engine series by Reverend W. 5-0 out of 5 stars Kind old Edward still works perfectly
I know Edward is old and my train sure is but he can still pull trains likje the big engines. His magnet is in perfect working order and he can pull a couple coaches without trouble at all. A cool thing about Edward and all the other tender engines is that little kids love to take the tender on and off. I thinks it's so funny when they do that. Edward really works well and he's capable of hours of enjoyment at a time.

5-0 out of 5 stars still going after 30 plus years
My son received the town & country wagon for Christmas when he was 2 years old, he is now 30 years old and has a son of his own, who will be riding in the same wagon he rode in.He took care of it and it is in the same condition as when he got it.It is a very good wagon and lasts forever if you don't abuse it.
Kids have ridden in it, carried dolls, toys, etc in it and it is still here.We even use it under the Christmas tree each year with toys in it.My grandson and two granddaughters are enjoying it now as much as he did 30 years ago.Great buy for the money.

5-0 out of 5 stars After 23 years, still a great wagon!
I received this wagon for Christmas 23 years ago, and did a little refurbishing for my son. My sisters and I played with our wagons all the time as kids---hauling each other, dirt, dolls, neighbors-etc. all over the neigborhood. Mine was in played with but great condition until about 3 years ago when my older sister left it out in the rain for a few months! (her kids played with them and left them out) The whole inside wood panel warped beyond repair and it developed some rust here and there from being rained on repeatedly. Our Dad was really mad--because he paid good money for the wagons (we each had one, 3 in all--and yes, she left them all out in the rain) so I decided to refurbish it. I took it apart, sanded it, repainted the red panels, stained and sealed the wood, repainted the black metal and decided to switch the tires out for the air tires similar to those on the ATW wagon.I also replaced the wood panel that you sit on inside--so basically all parts are original except the tires and the wood panel seat. It looks new again and my son loves it! It cost about 20$ to repair (for the wood, paint, and stain) The tires were optional since there was nothing wrong with the originals. Well worth putting the work into--and I still have a great wagon! If you take care of this wagon and don't leave it out in the elements it will last you a long time! (as I said, until 3 years ago it was like new) We also purchased the pads--and love them.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Coolest Wagon
My 2-year-old cousin got this wagon for Christmas and I was amazed at how fun it was. It is great for outdoors, and can easily go over all different types of terrain. It is safe because it is hard to tip over, even when you go over bumps. The high walls make it hard for children to fall out. It can teach your child to share because everyone will want a turn in the wagon and your child will have to learn to give other kids a chance. Also, like most other Radio Flyer wagons, it seems very durable if you take care of it properly. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Lots of stuff to learn!
I like the whole left brain/right brain approach to this line of toys, so I bought this one for the left, and the Music Maker for the right. This one can teach colors, shapes, and numbers all in one toy.Plus, it's a book, so it encourages reading. The only flaws I see so far are that the light-up sun gets covered more with each page turn, and that the "narration" doesn't go in page order. However, this might actually be a good thing, since it would test the child on focusing on the shapes themselves, rather than just memorizing the sequence. Also, if you are going to read the actual printed text to your baby, turn the sound off -- otherwise it will "talk" over your reading.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun little toys!
My daughter got the "Roll a rounds gumball machine" for a gift and I decided to get these to go with it.
They are very similar to the "Peek a blocks", clear shapes with little objects inside. But for us we like them better. They are easier to hold for chubby little hands and she really likes to roll them around the room. When they roll the objects inside move which is really fun. There is a cat, bunny, hamster, bird, dog and goldfish inside each one.
If your child likes the peek a blocks then I would definately reccomend these. Or if your child likes to roll things. ... Read more

This miniature water tower is a simple, clever toy that is fun for any age. Attached to a smallplatform and piece of track, it fits neatly into the Thomas the Train layout that your child has alreadydesigned. A lever action pump "empties" and "fills" the see-through tower, so your child will have a realsense of filling up the engine.

Based on the award-winning Shining Time Station television series, the Thomas the Tank Enginetrain system fulfills all of a child's train-set dreams. Each 2-inch-high, wooden vehicle has black plasticwheels and a different name, character, and face, and there are magnetic bumpers at the ends for easylink-up. Your child will delight in making the pieces interact during imaginary play and will learn socialskills playing train with friends. 5-0 out of 5 stars My Son Loves The Water Tower!
My son had been asking for the Water Tower for quite some time, so we finally got it for him.

The plastic that encases the liquid is very, very sturdy--and it has never leaked. (Believe me...my son puts his Thomas accessories through the paces!) It's quite heavy, and fits right onto the wooden railway. By moving the black spout up and down, the blue liquid appears to empty and re-fill.

Kids seem to be fascinated with it, including my son. I definitely recommend the Water Tower as a neat accessory to any wooden railway system.

4-0 out of 5 stars good for all kids
my mom boght me and mybrothergot this for christmas .HE didnt like this toy but i loved it!

5-0 out of 5 stars Neat addition to your train set
We have a LOT of water towers in our city and my son is just fascinated with them. So, I bought this water tower after he refused to stop playing with it at The Anderson's General store. What a great purchase this is!I personally love watching the pretend water going up and down with the movement of the spout."Water tower" as my little one calls it, goes everywhere with us.To church, to grandma's, grocery store, you name it, it's his favorite train piece. Why, I have no idea but I do know that he, along with every other child I've seen with it, absolutely adores this tower. ... When Thomas the Tank Engine and friends get dirty after a long day's work, they can headstraight for the Sodor Engine Wash. This 6-inch-tall wooden building snaps directly into your Thomas theTank Engine railway system. Just drive the engines up to the building, turn the large red knob on the roof, and the blue foam grips will pull the engines through the wash in either direction. The Sodor Engine Washhas a smooth black roof with a silver water tank perched on top and brick facades with fancy archways oneither side. This handsome and durable structure will add lots of interest to your Thomas the Tank Enginerailway system. --Elisabeth Fredrickson ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Preston's Mommy and #1 Play Pal
My son loves to play with the Thomas the Tank Engine wooden track and vehicles-he is 2 1/2 and makes believe that Percy gets all dirty (like in the video) and drives him through the engine wash. He is very creative when playing with his Thomas toys and keeps him busy for hours. The colors are bright and with the numbers on the engines, he is very eager to count and they have also helped with learning his colors!

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent addition to my son's collection, he loves it!
My son is 4 and 3/4 years old, and received the engine wash for his third birthday. He has had no difficulty operating it, and it is holding up wonderfully. The foam wash rollers look just like new after having countless trains run through them. There are a few pieces that may get caught up a bit but it's quite easy to release them by giving them a little push from behind.

The same engine wash is part of the local toy store's set, which obviously gets tons of wear.It is holding up very well, and is clearly a favorite of the children who sample it at the store.

I would highly recommend this piece to any Thomas enthusiast age 3 and up.I can imagine it may be challenging for a younger toddler to operate it, but it isn't intended for that age anyway.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very fun
My son loves this! I don't know what people are talking about. The trains go through just fine, even a long line of them.My son is two and a half and very rough with his toys and I have never had a problem with this piece. it's one of his favorites. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Really loud - don't bother!
When I was a little girl, I had this wind-up lamb that played Brahm's lullaby and moved it's neck.I loved it - and wanted something similar for my daughter. This is NOT it.The music is really "electronic" sounding, and when the neck moves, the whole thing makes this loud "rrrrrrrrr" noise.Plus, the music is WAY too loud for a lullaby. That being said, my daughter loves making this "go."Oh well, save your money and keep looking!

2-0 out of 5 stars disappointing
I thought this was a cute item when I registered for it on my baby wish list. But it is loud and mechanical/distorted sounding - kind of scary for a little one.

1-0 out of 5 stars really poor quality on the music!
so my daughter is really into musical toys - - and i've been trying to buy her as many as we can, since she loves them so much.i was really excited to get this product, and really disappointed when it arrived.the music is REALLY electronic sounding, and really loud also - - i'm not sure how she is supposed to go to sleep with it.the movement was neat, she liked that part, but overall, it didn't make a stellar impression or anything.i was really, really let down with how tinny the music was.we have other toys that have electronic music that don't sound NEARLY this bad! ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Tips Easily
We bought this for our son, 18 months, some months ago.DH was strolling through the store and ds HAD to have it.Yeah, right. He loves making the popper go around and the noise the popper makes, but even as a pretty coordinated 18-month-old, he will tip it occasionally.I believe that we will leave this one inside and buy another with the wide back wheels for outside.

1-0 out of 5 stars Handle broke off!!
My son had a lot of trouble turning this bike.We had to throw it out because the handle bar broke off.Glitter part broke right away. Just not a durable toy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Dispite the negative reviews - Love it!
My child received this when he was 13 months old.. Fast forward 2 months later he still loves it and rides it every day. He is very short and can just barely reach the ground, but it's still a favorite toy of his. So far, I would buy this again in a minute. ... Read more

This wonderful cloth book will have your child smiling all the way to bed!The soft purple book measures 8 inches and has a sturdy purple zipper around threesides, with soft stuffed handles on top. A picture of a bear tucked into bed and the words"Lullabyand Good Night" are embroidered on the front. 4-0 out of 5 stars $35?? wow!
I rec'd this as a baby shower gift, and am very suprised to find it's retail is $35!I do have an older version (no music) but, my son is now 18 mo and still loves "reading" his book before bed.So worth it none the less.

3-0 out of 5 stars Cute but Not worth 35 dollars!!!
We got this book at our baby shower. It is a soft cloth book with a zipper to close it and keep peices inside. My daughter is almost two now and she plays with it on occasion. Using a small stuffed bear you go through the bed time routine. Glass of milk, bath, brush teeth, say your prayers, kiss goodnight etc. I really wish the book had a cord to attach all the small pieces to it. We lost the carton of milk and the soap. The toothbrush is attached by a cord but I noticed it fraying. The toothbrush is really the only part of it she uses. Which has been helpful in getting her brush back and forth instead of just chewing.

I really never thought about this toy much until I was browsing amazon for toys and I saw that it cost THIRTY FIVE dollars!! There is no way that it is worth that much money. Buy your kid 6 or 7 board books instead.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not worth the price...
Because of the rave reviews I ordered this book for my daughters 1st Birthday. When I received the book I opened it up before wrapping it because I was so excited! I was very disappointed!First of all the teddy bear is supposed to play lullaby's...When I pushed the tummy it sounded like one of those awful hallmark buttons, you know, the ones that play your favorite anthem, happy birthday, etc. Then it died and made these popping and buzzing noises, and there is no way to replace the battery. It is not something that would soothe a baby or toddler to sleep even if it did work properly.Second, the milk and the soap were bigger than the bear it self, I don't get it? The bear is only 2 maybe 3 inches tall and cheap looking. And third, for a nice interactive bed time story, there is no story really. The pj's are difficult to put on the bear even for an adult. The only plus side is that the book is cute and the quality of the book and accessories (except the bear) were very nice.I sent it back for a refund, for me it was not worth the price. ... Read more

You won't overlook this elephant in the living room. Pull along Poppity Elephant for the kind of noisy, musical, block-popping action toddlers love. New walkers will enjoy piling four circus-themed Peek-a-Blocks in the sturdy plastic 10x8x4-inch elephant--causing trumpeting sounds and music--and watching them pop off the seat when they pull the wheeled elephant by its string. The visually stimulating blocks, like all Peek-a-Blocks, hold intriguing discoveries: a springing tiger, a swinging monkey, a clown with beads…. The on/off switch includes low or high volume options. Three AA batteries required (included). --Emilie Coulter ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Loud, obnoxious, does not work as designed.
The toy is designed so that you put a peek-a-block on top of the elephant (in the "saddle" area) and when the elephant is pulled, the block is supposed to flip around and then fall into the elephant's trunk, which is a tunnel. Then it makes a bleating noise. Well, when you pull the elephant, the mechanism that pops the block around is extremely loud and obnoxious, and it does not give enough "pop" to the block to make it fall into the trunk.

My son is 13 months old and while he has already figured out how to use most of his 18m+ toys, the elephant sits unused because it just plain does not work as designed.

4-0 out of 5 stars An OK toy
First of all to the comment about the 7 mo. old with the string wrapped around his neck, this toy is for 12 mo. and up. There is a big difference between 7mo. and a year. It is safe if used for the recommended ages. I don't think I need to say more. As far as fun, my daughter will play with it for a little while but she has other toys that intreast her more. If you are just looking for another toy then get it. If you are looking for something to keep their intreast longer look into the new jungle animal ball toy or a pull along alligator by Plan, now that's fun!

1-0 out of 5 stars Most dangerous for babies who are in the rolling phase
My sister bought this for us when our daughter was 7 months old.It clearly indicates that it is for babies over 12 months. We initially only had her play with it under close supervision, and were happy to see her catch on to the concept of pushing & pulling it to make the music begin and the peek-a-blocks pop on the top.Several days later, the toy was on the floor with our then 8-month old ... I stepped away, turned my back for less than a minute then turned back around to be alarmed that Abby had somehow pulled the yellow string and then rolled over, wrapping the string around her neck and not being able to get out of the position she was in.

I have since put the toy away, never to be brought out again.Regardless of the age-appropriateness of this particular toy - this incident could happen to any baby or little one, of any age - because many are still fascinated with the concept of getting on thier bellies and rolling over.I think the company needs to seriously consider either shortening the string or doing away with it entirely ... possibly market this as a push toy???

I would hate to learn that a child was severly hurt because of this. ... Read more
