great toy
We bought this puzzle for our 10 year old daughter. 600 pieces seems to be the magic number. She gets frustrated with 1,000 piece puzzles, but anything under 500 is boring because she can finish it in 10 minutes. This is a great educational toy and you can't beat the price.

Nieces and Nephew Loved It

Teriffic fun, great value
This game really is great.My autistic 11-year-old gets
a good mental challenge and feeling of accomplishment out of it,
and I have fun as well.My only negative comment is regarding
travel.We've taken it on many plane trips, and it's great
because it fits in a small area to play as well as store, but
it has a lot of small parts (duh! :-), and they are easy to lose
track of when travelling.So be vigilant, and find all those
train cars when putting it away! :-)

We all love it
This puzzle is perfect learning tool.Its not boring and your child will love it.

hours of fun for my 3 year old
I got this puzzle for my daughter for her third birthday and she just loves the bright colors and the vivid images of the bugs and flowers. The first time it was completed she was so amazed by how pretty it looked and insisted on using it as a napping pad! Each piece is distinct enough to tell apart, and the adjacent pieces usually share some common feature (such as a bright-colored pedal or a wing of a dragonfly), so that even though she is challenged, she can complete it by herself after some time. In that sense the puzzle is great for fostering patience and building confidence. It's been two months and she still plays with it. Wonderful puzzle, not as easy as it looks, but is not redundant because of the many details in the image.It was a real brain teaser.

100 pieces, lots of animals, my 2.5 year old loves this
100 pieces is a little more involved but by no means to hard for an enterprising 2-3 year old.I would think fun for older kids too.My son has enjoyed doing this puzzle about 40 times.

Great Puzzles
We bought this puzzle for my then 2 year old as he had mastered the barn puzzle (which is also amazing).There are monkeys, tigers, butterflies, and numerous other jungle animals.I had to look up several of the animals as I was not sure of what they were.This was a good educational experience for both me and my son.This puzzle is durable as are all of the M&D floor puzzles.It has been stepped on and thrown across the room by a highly rambunctions child.I have had this puzzle for over a year, and it looks great.I rotate this puzzle with the other Melissa and Doug floor puzzzles that we have.I recommend any of their floor puzzles as they are great quality and have easy to handle pieces for kids.They are a great opportunity to teach about different subjects and teach new words to children. ... Simpons Puzzle
The puzzle is a lot of fun, but very hard. When I saw it I thought it would be easy, but its not at all. The different people make it so difficult to place the pieces where they are supposed to go. I did find it a lot of fun, but it took a long time.

A Must for Simpsons Fans
As you can tell from the picture, this puzzle is a picture of any of the Simpsons characters from the television show.Some characters appear more than once (but only a couple of them).

The illustration is really quite nice and it is fun to try and identify the characters and their episodes.Because of the scope of the show, not every character is here but there is a good chance that your favorites will be here.

My only real trouble with the puzzle was that many pieces were not cut through completely.Leave them together, the thin puzzle stock is not sturdy enough to force them apart.The front or back will peel.

Other than the problem above, the puzzle was fun to put together and its lack of large objects made almost every piece a challenge.It provided several hours of fun. ... Read more

Great fun for young children!
We got this puzzle a short while ago when our 4-yr old began blowing away the 24-piece puzzles.While not as easy as the normal 24-piece puzzles, because these pieces are slightly smaller, he quickly figured it out.Our neighbor's children, 4 y/o twins, also love this puzzle and the other Ravensburger puzzles we have.

This is a superb puzzle for almost any child (I recommend over 3 y/o) to enhance problem solving skills, vocabulary building (teaching what the ocean animals are) and for fun.I am becoming a huge fan of Ravensburger puzzles and have bought several more receently.They are not easy, but not difficult and the overall value for these puzzles can not be estimated for your child's future learning.Highly recommended. ... Nice - but not so good
It will help you asemble your puzzles but it is not so good as it seems . Basically rolling in and out dependes in a cardbox tube that comes with it and it is not so good to do it. go for another option.

I have this puzzle rollup and find that every time that I unroll it my puzzle has parts that need reconnecting, and the pieces stick to the felt mat and leave little hairs in between the puzzle, I bought a larger puzzle keeper made of cardboard but with no hair and plenty of extra boards for organizing puzzles as large as 1500, it also comes with sponge sections to help keep puzzle in place, it's not the best but it is better then this felt mat and of course it costs more, but I do alot of puzzles. ... Lots of fun but average quality

The puzzle is designed somewhat difficult but not to the degree that discourages my 3 years old daughter to ensemble them. The most difficult part is the two big dinosaurs' bodies have similar patterns, thus she is a bit frustrated sometime but always comes back and finishes them. The only problem I have is its quality. Probably Better for Slightly Older Kiddos
This puzzle is really beautiful and well constructed, but a couple of it's attributes make it a bit frustrating for the younger crowd (Amazon says 3+, the sticker on the back of the puzzle says 4+).

My little guy is 3 and his favorite activity is putting puzzles together.The little 25-30 piece puzzles have become too easy for him, so I got this one with 48 pieces.I've been teaching him to put puzzle pieces together gently (rather than mashing and beating them together as rough and tumble boys sometimes tend to do) so that he doesn't bend up the cardboard pieces.I explain to him that if he has the correct two pieces, they will go together easily.This puzzle, however, is constructed of wood and is thicker than typical puzzles, so the pieces don't just slide together.They do fit well together, but you have to line them up well and use a bit more pressure than usual, so he often thinks he has the wrong piece when he actually has the right one.This is frustrating for him.

My other issue with this puzzle is the lack of a picture to go by.I expect it is good memory practice for older kids to see the puzzle together, take it apart, and put it together from memory, but this isn't so easy for a three-year-old.My little guy can do it, but he gets frustrated when he can't remember what the puzzle looked like and so isn't quite certain what general area to put a loose piece near.

Other things to keep in mind when you are deciding whether to purchase this puzzle include it's size and storage needs.It is larger than other flat wood puzzles and doesn't fit into the puzzle storage or drawers we generally have available for our puzzles.It's dimensions are about 15.5 x 11.75.Also, it comes in it's wood tray, so it does not have a box and the puzzle has to be completely put together to be stored properly.The wood tray is nice, but is not absolutely necessary to put the puzzle together, so if the size of the tray is a problem for storage you could put the pieces in a baggie or box of your own and keep it separate from the tray.

This puzzle looks nice enough to glue together and hang on a wall when your child (or even multiple children) has outgrown it.It is very durable and is likely to last quite well up to that point even with repeated use (I wanna do this one again, Mommy!Pleeeeaaaaassssse!!) ... Read more

The thinking man's game!
Binary Arts is a leader in family and thinking games and Visual Brain Storm is the perfect example. Binary Arts gives you a game that can be played with one person or teams and the fun and entertainment is just the beginning.

The easy directions, printed on the box, have you playing inless than five minutes. The storage of the game is a breeze since the onlyparts are the game cards themselves. The hours of enjoyment and fun for thewhole family is what makes this game a sure fire winner.

The game callsfor ages 11 and up and some the cards may be a little too hard for theyounger crowd.In the solitaire version you play each card and scoreyourself. In the head to head you dived up into teams and you can put atime limit on each question.

Finally there is a team version which callfor you to place the card where everyone can see it, first team that thinksthey know answer calls out finished and the other teams have 1 minute leftto play. So if you're looking for a great party game Binary Arts may justhave the answer.

Absolutely the most fun educational toy I have ever seen!
I bought this toy for my 5 year old 2 years ago, when I startedhomeschooling and she is now doing the intermediate and advanced levels(which still challenge me). She always wants to play rush hour beforestarting her math lessons to put herself in a "mathematical mindframe" (her words).
