Wonderful
I wasn't sure what toys to buy, since there are so many to choose from.This set of toys were perfect.Since my daughter could first hold a rattle at around 3 months until present she has loved these toys.There is something for every step of the way.

A Great Assortment of Baby Toys
I bought this set before my son was born and couldn't wait to show him all of the bright, colorful toys.When he was a few weeks old, we held the rattles in front of him, and he stared at them in amazement.Eventually he learned to hold and shake them on his own, and then he discovered the other toys.He fell in love with the yellow and purple jingle ball, and he would have lots of fun shaking it and rolling it across the floor.The teethers are nicely textured, and the linking letters are fun to dangle from an activity gym.Also, my son loves the little yellow rubber ducky and the purple octopus.I squirt him with them during bath time, and he laughs and squeals.Of all the toys we now own, many of his favorites are from the original Sassy set.This toy set has been wonderful, and I would highly recommend it to other parents.Not only are the toys designed with bright, high-contrast patterns to please young infants, but also they are varied and durable enough to please older babies.This truly is a great assortment of baby toys.

Fun, Fun, Fun!!!
I just purchased this toy for my daughter and she really likes it alot.She is 4 months old and can easily grab the handles and shake it.We have a lot of the Lamaze toys and her two favorites are this cube and Freddie the Firefly.I highly recommend it!

Favorite toy
My now 7 month old loves this toy. She has played with it since around 5 months and it hasn't gotten old yet. She plays with it in the car and in her crib. It is a great toy and doesn't make alot of noise.

My 8-month old absolutely loves this

Almost 7 months old...and still a favorite
My son loves these three toys!He used to just stare at them when we would hang them over his carseat handle (kept him entertained at restaurants!) when he was a couple months old.Now he loves to play with them, chew on them, crinkle the material, etc... His eyes light up whenever he sees any of them - although the monkey is his favorite.Now that he's starting to teethe, he likes to chew on the butterfly one.I really like that they can all clip onto anything - prevents them from falling out of the stroller/carseat.Plus you can dangle them and have baby reach for them.I would highly recommend them!

Great for the car!
I received these as a baby shower gift and have used them almost from day one.These were the first toys that caught my son's attention.I hung the elephant and monkey on his infant car seat and they kept him company on many car rides.Now he is 5 months old and he loves to chew on the butterflies.These toys are definitely a great buy for the money!

The pyramid-shaped Grip and Grab Rattle is made of sturdy, safety-tested plastic tubes in bright colors that are connected by clear plastic spheres. baby loves it!
what stimulation this rattle offers. our munchkin loves shaking it and watching all of the colored balls move from one end to the other. we take it everywhere, great rattle!

Just Amazing
I have 2 daughters. One 3 and the other 5 months and both of them were and are captivated by this contraption. The 5 month old loves the sound the beads make and can literally watch them for an hour. I highly reccomend this toy to any first time mother or expecting mom. Put it on your List!!!!!!!!

It's all about the noise!
Who cares if this toy encourages visual development or independent play? As far as my baby is concerned this toy Makes Noise. Lots of it. In fact, I think that if she'd learned the war-cry of the Rohirrim, she'd be doing that to accompany the violent shaking she gives the rattle. Raaaaarhhhhh. Disappointed with the shipping of toys
I think these toys are great and would have been satisfied if I bought these for my own 3 month old son. However these were for a gift and they were shipped NOT in their original packages but just thrown in a shipping box loose with ablack & white photocopied paper describing each toy. I though it looked horrible! And to give this to someone for a baby shower gift looks cheap! They should have been in the original packages at least!

Great First Toys!
At 3 months, my son is just starting to notice toys and the Fascination Station has been one of the first toys he has started playing with. The toy suctions to a table or high chair and has a wheel much like a ferris wheel that has several different spinning and rattling parts. I read other reviews about the suction cup not sticking well, or the toy coming out of it's base.We have not had that problem - and this toy was a hand-me-down from a friend whose now 2 year old played with it as well.We now bring it with us when we go out to dinner and it entertains and distracts my son(and sometimes my husband as well!). It is hard to find toys to bring to resteraunts to entertain a small child that pack easily and aren't too noisy so as to distract other diners.

The Smiley face rattle is also great.My son is just starting to notice himself in the mirror and really enjoys the mirror on the back of the rattle.The squeaky noise is fun too.I've been anxiously waiting for him to start playing with toys and it is now just as much fun for me to interact with him using this toy.

I find these toys durable, brightly colored and they really hold an infant's interest.These toys have been a must have in our family and I've recommended them to a couple of friends who are expecting and have already added these to their baby registry!

Great toy!
I got this toy for my twin sons when they were about 3 months old, now they are 20 months and still love him! He attatches great to the front bar of my Twin Savvy. He makes alot of noises and still keeps them occupied. WE do have to rotate toys now that the twins are older and get bored easily, but Pupsqueak is a favorite! He withstands washings and teething, spit ups, and biting, and even attempts to drop him off the stroller! He makes a cute barking noise and he has alot of little things for a baby to teeth on and to look at. My sons like to fiddle with the rings and hold him, they enjoy listening to him and of course "eating" him. I am surprized in the durablility of all my Lamaze toys and I really didnt think that they would last this long! They are just wonderful! My sons get a kick out of pupsqeak and he really is captivating from birth to childhood, a great toy that will last for years!

PUPSQUEAK!
Next to BR Max the monkey (also by Lamaze) and Zach's "lovey", pupsqueak is his favorite toy. Zach is four months old and really really loves pupsqueak. We use him to give variety to our son and Zach really loves him! If we make pupsqueak squeak, Zach goes into hysterics, and my 20 month old twins join in! ITs perfect for those really silent times when everyone needs a good laugh. Along with Max, pups (what we call him) is perfect for tummy time. Pups is also great for teathing, once Zach really starts getting those teeth in! Pups attatches well to almost anything, but my boistrus ball of fire gets so angrey and fustrated if we tether him to anything, he likes to hold him. Pups is very durable and has been easily spot cleaned and even in the wash! The colors are great for my son to stare at and he just loves him. I dont know what it is about Lamaze toys but they sure do put alot of thought into them to make them so gosh darn cute and interesting!

WOW
I am dumbfounded. I have two sets of twins, 8 Month B/B and 3 year old B/G. ALL of them LOVE this toy. My older twins enjoy making him a "baby". And giving him kisses amd making him do all kinds of tricks. They could do this with almost anytoy, but the ADORE pupsqueak. That Said I have 2 others wich I gave to my boys. They LOOVVVEE him too! I was amazed. I dont know if its just because hes a dog, (their lovey toys are a black and white dog and a brown and white dog, and they love our boxer and golden retriever mix) or maybe its just because PUPSQUEAK ROCKS! They love it when I attatch him to their carseats, They just got "big boy" carseats and pupsqeak of course had to make the transition too! A few weeks ago we went on a 8 hour car ride, I know that my youngest twins stayed quite mostly because they were soooo comfy in their marathons, and because they had... PUPSQUEAK! They had the option to play with other lamaze toys, which they loved but those just dont compare to pupsqueak. They even like him in the crib and in the stroller, a versitile little toy. Favourite baby toy of both my kids
The Whoozit was given to my daughter as a gift and frankly before I had it, I'd have looked at the price and bought a cheaper toy.However it was on her favourite toys as a baby.In fact she played with it until she was 1 1/2 years old, which is a very long time for a baby toy. Now it's my son's favourite. He only has the use of one hand, but it's light enough that he can play with it.It has 7 striped legs with different shapes and textures, a plush red nose that squeaks with a mirror underneath and a terry cloth semi-circle mouth that you can hold onto.The back has a black and white bull's eye pattern which was fascinating to both children when they were under 2 months old.

A great baby toy.
I have bought each one of my kids this whoozit and I recently bought my daughter one she is 81/2 months old only I bought her the girl version called whoozit tizoo it is shaped like a heart and WOW she loves it. You can play peekaboo with it and she learns the different shapes and textures. I LOVE this toy and have for years. We also bought the small version for travel. This is a great toy for when they start to focus on things and they will fall in love with it and sleep/play with it for a long time. WHOOZIT is worth every penny...

my little girl loves it
My daughter got this as a gift when she was born from a friend that said this was her girls favorite toy.The backside of this toy is a black and white bullseye, my daughter at 2 months could not stop looking at it.Now, at three months, I have this hanging on the side of her play pen (with the help of some link-a-loos) and I prop her up next to it with her boppy and she reaches for the nose, smiles and babbles to it.It so funny to watch her with it.Next to her mobile, and my silly faces, it is the thing that she seems most interested in. ... Daughter's first favorite
We got this as a gift for Maya before she was born and hung it on the toy bar of her pack & play.She loves it!It was the first thing she swatted at and grabbed.Now that she's sitting on her own, she loves to grab it and put it in her mouth.She seems to love the bright, smiling sun.And the stretchy arms are great to grab.

She still loves it!
At 4 months old my daughter "picked" Celeste out of the other Lamaze hanging toys.She immediately smiled and giggled when she saw it.We have always used it in the car primarily and to this day, even though she's 2 years old, if it's not hanging up in the car she asks for it.

Daughter loved this toy for months!
My daughter loved this toy, starting at one month and right up to nine months.First she loved the auditory stimulation, then the tactile differences,then of course chewing!Now she moves the fabric around.Use it in the car, shopping, in her jumper!! EVERYWHERE!

better toys available from Lamaze
I was given this toy fairly early on and my twins are now about a year old.In the early days, the boys enjoyed batting the bell-ball around if the major bulk of the toy was held for them.However, overall this toy has been a disappointment.It does not hold their attention much.I think it is too bulky to be a good shaking toy for a young infant, and they don't yet seem interested in pulling on the various toy give-and-take attachments.Perhaps a lighter version would be more successful with them. My guys are big fans of Pupsqueak and Freddy the Firefly from Lamaze, though.Those toys I would give 5 stars absolutely.

Must have for your 5 month old
My mother bought this toy for my 5 month old son, he absolutly loves it.Cried when I took it away to wash it.Great for hand cordination and skills.

Choking Hazard
My daughter LOVES the Whoozit!She has the female version (pink body instead of blue).This toy has a red heart that makes the "crinkling" noise when you play with it.Because it is red and makes the noise it is my daughter's favorite part of the toy.Since she's teething, she loves to put it into her mouth and chew on it.Unfortunately, she was chewing on it one day in the grocery store when the red heart got lodged in her throat.She was not breathing at all.Luckily, I was right in front of her, noticed it, and immediately pulled out the toy.I just can't help but wonder what might have happened if I had not been standing right there with her when it happened.I've told several of my friends about this and they told me of similar stories they have heard from other people.From now on, I tuck the red heart into the inside of the toy (between the two body sections) so my daughter can't get to it.All the kids who I've seen playing with it seem to love the Whoozit, but the one crinkle piece is a choking hazard.

Great toy!!!!!!
True that this is a weird and maybe ugly toy, but my baby loves it!! She's 7 weeks old and I hang it from her swing and she loves staring at it. She just looks at it and smiles. I like this one for the moment because it's small and light enough to dangle from the bar on her swing. Other toys are bigger and heavier and for some reason she loses interest in them quickly. I recommend this toy for all babies!!!

Best Toy Ever
I bought this for my daughter when she was approx. 1 month (now 5 months old). Out of all the toys she has this one is her favorite. It's the weirdest looking thing, but she is so intrigued by "Senor Whoozit" (that's it's name).

Great attention grabber
Its true that it does fit on my 4 month olds infant carrier but he is much easier to play with on his tummy or in his hands, but he loves Max all the same! Max has so many different things to chew on, and 35% of the time he's in Zach's mouth! And 60% of the time Zach will sort of hold him away from him for a while, and STARE at him, than he will grab him and hug him! But the other 5% of the time is why I love Max so much, when ever Zach starts crying you just make Max giggle and within seconds Zach is happy boy again! My 20 month old twins think its soo funny that their little brother will laugh like that! Max goes in the stroller, in the car, in the diaper bag, at the highchair, in the exersaucer EVERYWHERE, Max isnt my sons "lovey" but its probably his favorite "toy".Max easily spot cleans and I have put him in the machine a few times! Max is also filled with so many cute colors. I dont know what it is about Max, but even though he can't really attatch to the infant carrier without Zach getting really angrey, he's well worth it!

Great product
If you are in preparation for the arrival of a newborn, it is essential to purchase BR Max the Monkey.I am 11 years old and whenever I hear my baby brother Matthew cry, I hand him BR and just like magic, the crying stops.I don't know if it is the monkey's infectious giggle or its appealing colors but I do know that this is like a magical ingredient to make a baby stop crying.Believe me, you must make it a priority to purchase lovable BR before your child enters the world.You will never regret it.This is one of the most effective baby toys ever.Congats to Lamaze on creating yet another successful item for babies.

While we're pretty sure there were supposed to be more animals in Noah'sArk than merely a giraffe, an elephant, a monkey, and a lion, these friends willbe enough to provide plenty of fun. The animals fit together like a puzzleinside the boat and the boat can be enjoyed in a tub, a pool, a sandbox, acarpet, or just about anywhere. Ark tips over and animals fill up with water
My 10-month-old daughter really enjoys this toy, even though the Ark has difficulty staying upright in the water.She carries the animals all over the house.The problem is that the animals fill up with bath water that doesn't come out until they are squeezed.Even then it's almost impossible to get it all out.So these cute little animals leak everywhere and that old bath water is likely growing things that I don't want in my baby's mouth.

Chewy Ark is too hard to put together
I purchased the Chewy Ark for a friend's 1 year old son. It was very cute in the package but upon removing it from the plastic it became clear that it was difficult to take apart and almost impossible to put back together! It took all of my adult strength to get the "house" out of the boat and I never managed to get them back together. The animals needed to be pressed forcefully back into their molded shapes, a task too tough for a small child.

But the animals were a big hit. Their squeaking sounds made all of the kids squeal with delight.

Wish I would've read the reviews first!
I received this toy as a gift.Since it said it was a bath toy, I didn't think I needed to 'read directions' on it...you take it in the bath with your child and she plays with it...or so I thought.My review is pretty much the same as everyone else's; my daughter LOVES the animals, but you can NOT get the water out of the boat or ark.So, I will be throwing mine away as well, except for the awesome animals. I have these and...
If you're looking for the older style black, white and red tiny love mats they can be found on ebay for dirt cheap.I contacted tl and they don't make that style mat anymore. That is too bad, I think, since it's a well known fact that sharply contrasting colors are best for a newborns visual development.

My baby loves these!
My almost 3 month-old has been playing in his gymini for over a month already so I bought these to add to it. He hasn't been that interested in the bird yet but he loves the keys and the teddy bear rattle. The keys have taught him to grab and hold on for the first time, before he was just batting at things.

Safe and fun
My daughter really enjoys the keys. The bear, as many have said is just too hard to grasp, though. Because many other reveiws spoke of the bird being boring, I attatched it to my babys car seat thinking it might actually lull her to sleep in the car. Not so! This in the first toy that she reached out and got hold of! It took me two weeks to realize that it beeped when you sqeezed it. Don't disregard it because it seems boring to you (as it does to me!) It is easy to grasp, bright and soft. In other words, perfect for baby. Overall, I would have to say that this is a good investment although I wish the bear was more useful. Maybe when she gets older.

1-year-old is constantly playing with this ball
I bought this set for my son when he was about 5 months old and I have been thrilled at how he has enjoyed it as he has passed from stage to stage.

At first, with limited mobility, he liked holding it or looking at the bright colors. Once he was crawling, he started batting it across the room with his hand, then chasing it excitedly. Now that he is starting to throw things, I am glad that this soft, plush ball is a favorite toy, because it can safely be thrown without hurting anything (or anyone).

The ball is soft and light, making it easy to grab and lift with one hand. It has a quiet bell inside which is fun for him but not annoying to me.

Admittedly, he has largely ignored the cube, but this set was well worth the very affordable price for the ball alone. It has given our son hours upon hours of enjoyment. When he comes into his playroom, it's often the first thing he looks for. It's nice knowing that anytime he's getting cranky, I can just pull out the ball and he'll be smiling and playing.

Sometimes the simple toys are the ones they love best. That's certainly been the case for our boy!

Loves to chase it around
My baby who is now 8 months has always loved this set, especially the ball! When he was younger he would grasp it between his legs! Now that he is older and crawling, he LOVES to chase it all around the house! He plays with this toy more than any of the others! I like how it is soft and rolls so easily.

As a new mother, I thought this ball and cube set was adorable.The recommended age was 3mos+, so I imagined it being perfect for my 3 month old daughter and expected her to actually *play* with it.Consequently, I was very dissapointed when all she did was clutch the toys and took no interest when I rolled the ball and cube towards her.At around 6 mos, I gave up on her liking them and I packed them away for the next baby only to pull them out a few weeks ago.Now, at 18 Months of age, she is nuts about them!Throwing them into the air and bouncing the soft colorful ball across the floor to me.I was amazed at her interest and came back here to check on the review I had written months ago... when I discovered the age span was 3mos - 2 years.I wish I had known that last year!To sum up, if I had known then what I know now, I would buy this set again - only I wouldn't expect to see her actually playing with the ball and cube til she was older.I guess the only advice I can pass along is, the recommended age seems to be set very young and don't worry if your baby is really not interested... because someday, he or she will be. :) ... Not So Great Toy
My father bought this toy for my son as an Easter gift when he was 8 months old, and the only thing he liked was the teethable car keys. I think this toy was actually ment for a much younger baby, and not an 8 month old.
I now have a 7 week old baby who might find the toys to be more fun, since I put them away when my first ds was 12 months old. Although, since I have gotten them back out, my now 19½ month old still wants the keys, even though I think he's too old for them, and he still has his plastic keys that aren't really made for teething.

I'll probably write another review on this toy when I see if my youngest son likes the toys or not.

playtime wont last long
Like I wrote in my title, playtime wont last long! My daughter still cant really use the squeeze toy and shes much older than when she first got these toys which were her first! The other toys didnt really keep her interest at all. I used these toys when she was really really young just to get her eyes to follow objects. After that these toys basically stayed at the bottom of the toy box.

A nice addition to your activity gym
These colorful toys are sure an eye-catcher for my 4 month old! He loves to shake the keys around and we found a hidden surprse in the birdie the other day......it sqeeks! Great Fun For Baby!
We bought our son this toy for Christmas.He is five months old and is very interested in rattles.We like how the rattles have two handles and that they are light for baby.He loves to shake the rattles and put them in his mouth.The colors are bright and inviting and the "go round" attachment helps to keep the rattles at close reach.

amazing toy!
it is amazing how parents can sometimes think they know best... when we got this toy i never imagined my baby would be so thrilled with one toy, which i believe expands his little world's frontiers showing him one toy can be whatever you wish it could be. with this one especially, not only he invents on what one toy can be, but on the many posibilities the toy has. and he seems to begin to understand how to separate parts and put them back together, a skill i haven't seen when he plays with other toys.this toy is very different from all crib toys. Great toys!
My daughter is now 8 months old, and she has had these toys since she was born.When she was very tiny, she enjoyed lying and looking at them hanging from her playgym.Then, they were the first toys she reached out for.She still plays with them nearly every day.These are consistently her favorite toys, and she will choose them over any number of flashier, noisier toys any day!

Just adorable
These toys are just the most adorable rattle-type toys I have ever seen.My 8-month old daughter loves to hold them, chew them, touch them and shake them whenever I give them to her (mostly in the car or on stroller walks).They are light-weight (great for packing in the diaper bag), colorful and easy to clean.I find myself picking them up and playing with them occasionally.Very well made.I highly recommend this set or one of the similar Tiny Love sets.

This is a great set!
This is a great set!! My son loves to reach and grab these toys. They have helped him some more with his hand eye cordination as well as keep him entertained! We love these.
