Not as good as prior model
We ordered the prior model of this wagon before Christmas when it had steel wheels.It arrived damaged in shipping and now is no longer available.Now the wheels are plastic.Plastic doesn't last.If you're selling something as a "classic", then it should be made the same way.

great gift
I bought 2, one for each of my grandsons but turned out to be a useful family gift.Easy to assemble and was much larger than I expected for the price.My daughters haul my grandkids, can easily fit 2 per wagon, to the park or my house.Kids are too young to do more than enjoy the rides for now but wagons are so well built I expect they will still be around when kids are old enough to play with them as well as in them. Chris from CO isobviously not all that bright...
It fits on the back of a tricycle... not an adult bike.Take a look at the nice photos Amazon provides.

REVIEWERS NEED TO OWN THIS ACCESORY!
Obviously over half of the reviewers dont even own a kettrike! One review even explains how bicycle seats arent safe, this is not for an adult bike, please read the description or own the product before you review it and give it a bad rating which it doesnt deserve. Yes it doesnt fit on the air kettrikes (we have 2 sets of twins, 2 kettrikes, the air jumbo and the happy navigator). It is great to accomidate one of my 3 year old drivers, and one of their little brothers. I could even buy up to FOUR seats so five kids could ride! (I probably wouldnt but its nice knowing that you can!) It is GREAT. I have yet to see any other trike accomidate TWO kids at the same time! And I mean safely, not like the radio flyers that one kid stands and one kids drives, this is WAY cooler! Okay this is how it works, You place this insert between the two pieces of the kettrike that come apartt. The "drivers" pedals and steers the bike by using the kettrikes original handle bars and pedals, and using the inserts seat. The second kid is basically along for the ride. They use the original kettrikes seat, and this inserts handle bars and "pedals", (they dont really move but my kids still call them pedals). It is VERY easy to take on and off.I love it and so do my kids. I am very dissapointed in many of the angrey reviews who obviously dont own this product OR a kettrike! I recomend ALL the kettrike accesories and DEFINATLY this one. (I may even purchase another kettrike without air tires to get another one!)

First of all you MUST HAVE a Kettler trike BEFORE you judge the tandem insert, if you don't then why would you need it? Why comment on something you don't own / or even need?

No, this insert does not fit the Air Happy, or any of the "Air" trikes, most websites will tell you that (except this one) Toy R Us fault, not tandem insert's

Where's the seat belt?
They are sold seperately.But most kids who are old enough to ride a trike don't need a seat belt.My little one is 18mths and she can hold on very well (back seat rider)

Not safe?
Maybe not for those people who don't let their kids touch dirt b/c of the micro-organisms it contains.

The Kettler trike has weight limit of <<<< 400 lbs >>>
it has a steel frame, heck I have ridden it a time or two, it has a height adjustable frame, it is easy to assemble and disassemble--fits in the trunk of my Honda, and it doesn't tip over like other trikes ((good when kids are just learning to get on/off))

Besides what other trike do you know can accommodate two chunky tots? Or one chunky tot and a mom who has fun with her kids?

20-month-old Girl's Opinion!
My triplet daughter got this after having the "Girls Rider Walker" and the only thing she likes about it is the music.The "Glitter Girl" is powered, but does not go very fast at all.She was use to pushing with her own feet on the "Girls Rider Walker" and could go very quickly!!!I think it is good for any 20 month old, just as long as they were not spoiled by their own speed from a car that they can push with their own feet!!!

A family pleaser!
My mom bought this toy for her preschool and brought it home for my 14 month olds visit...My little girl loved it. She was riding it herself with in the 1st day and entertained everyone by dancing to the music it plays...What a fun toy!

Loves it!!
My husband brought this toy home for my 1yr old daughter for her birthday.I thought it was too old for her as she was just learning to walk.However she quickly mastered walking and now LOVES to push and pull this toy all over the house.She loves to ride on it, although right now, she cannot climb on and off of it by herself. She loves pushing the buttons and hearing the music and "mother's voice"She just get a huge grin on her face and wants us to enjoy it with her. Great toy. My only complaint is that it doesn't "steer" very well.You have to push the toy to change direction.Lastly the seat has a storage area to hold lots of little toys for her to tote around. ... Very Pleased
My son received this for his first birthday.He can't pedal yet, but loved to sit on the bike and "walk" it.When we go outside, when he sees the big kids riding their bikes, he walks to his and gets on it.I've used it as a stoller to walk him around the neighborhood.He loves it!
I've had similar problems with the foot rest.It is placed in an odd position, so his feet won't stay on it.When his feet fall off, his foot gets stuck between the foot rest and the ground, but I notice this quickly and taught him to hold his feet up.I've had no trouble with the handle, other than my son wants to push it around when he is not riding it.

i read the reviews on this page, and having a destructo-son, i decided to purchase a different item.he loves riding toys and is very rough, so thank you for your input, so i didn't have to make the same mistake as some of you.

Varrooom, Varrooom
This one is best for older/tall toddlers. We got this trike when my son was 19 months. He never learned to keep feet on the movable pegs, I never use the push bar. Now 23 months he is happy to 'ride on' without touching the pegs or pedals. He trundles around the yard going "Varrooom, Varrooom". At 32" tall he still can't reach the pedals. Very Disappointed! :(
My son got this for his second christmas. He was 20 months old. The springs on this horse were so stiff he couldnt do anything with it. You are supposed to push downwards with your weight and it "inches" forward. He couldnt do it at all. The only play he ever got out of it was climbing on and off it a few times. The sound maker (located at the horses face) fell out shortly after getting it also, and wouldnt stay in place. Sold it at a fleamarket for a couple dollars. ... Read more

A good first walker/ride on combo toy
We picked this up for our 15 mos old dtr at our local toy store because she is infatuated with the wiggles.The handle on back helped her with her first steps walking and she now loves to sit on the seat and push herself around.It is a good first car because of it's compact size, low to the ground for little ones.She loves pushing her "babies" in it too and uses it as a doll carriage.Great value for the price!

Not so great!
My daughter tried out a similar car at a friends house and she loved it! So I thought I would go pick one up for her - Well, I guess the one my friend has was older or something, because you could actually steer the front tires where you wanted to go - Not so much with this one. Then, there were no holes for the handle on the back, so her little car is without that feature right now; I am probably going to take it back to get something else. I was disappointed to say the least.

Overall, I thought this toy was easily assembled (at least as easy as any other child's toy.We needed to punch a hole for one screw, and the bar for the handle just reaches, but really not that bad), and for the amount of fun my 15-month-old has gotten out of it in the week or so she's had it, it was worth it.My daughter loves it and does well with it.It's just the right size for her to climb on and off of herself - which is very important to her. For TODDLERS only!
I ordered this for my 8 year old grandson to use with a razor scooter.I totally relied on the information provided on the website recommending it for ages 6 - 12 yrs.My grandson is thin and average build, so I was sure it would fit.He could not even get the pads on!It would probably fit a normal size two year old.

TOO SMALL!!!
I was really excited to give this to my son for his third birthday with his first bike. Unfortunately, it was too small for his head.He is a little big for his age, but his head is not oversized.No way is this for "ages 4 and up."

Disappointed
I also purchased this item believing it was for children ages 4 and up, as clearly stated in the description. It is NOT!! It is clearly a Toddler's helmet and pad set, when you receive it is written on the box Toddler. The helmet and pads are small, obviously for a toddler. I also had to return it, and as a matter of fact, am still waiting to be credited for it. Amazon should change the description of this item to state Toddler, so it won't be so misleading. Awesome ride-on toy for the price!
My son absolutely loves this firetruck.He has been riding it EVERY day since he got it on his first birthday and he is 19 months old now.He loves to play the songs over and over again.It is a wonderful and durable toy.My son loves to turn it upside down and every which way and it has held up just fine. I do agree that it is very loud and needs a volume control, but I solved that with some masking tape over the speaker.The neatest thing is the dome on the front of the truck with the scene that spins around as the music plays.Overall, I would have to say this is a great ride-on toy.

Great fire engine ride on
Durable, dependable, tough, with lots of sound to amaze and keep any child happy for hours. I was watching 2 boys 20 mos.
and 2 years old play with this toy. One was riding as the other was amazed with the movement of the fire engine and dog. This will last a long time and has peek a boo action as well as music. Has tip bar on rear so item will not tip backwards when child is sitting on seat correctly. Highly recommend this item.

Loud & Obnoxious
My son received this for his first birthday from my mother-in-law.There isn't a volume control for the music...you can't even turn it off.To make matters worse, when my son presses the button again and again, the song repeats itself like a broken record.He loves it, of course, but it drives my husband and I crazy.I threw the toy outside the other day and it got caught in a downpour.I hope it short-circuited. ... This is a great ride on toy!
This toy is wonderful! I don't have anything bad to say about it except that we have noticed after an evening of playing with it that it is starting to ride crooked. It no longer rides in a straight line. My daughter is 11 months and she absolutely loves it. Evertime the music plays she starts rocking and making the dalmation rock. I love the fact that you can put the wheels up for rocking play and bring them down for rolling play. My husband and I take turns pushing her back and forth. Great toy!
I bought this toy for my 2 1/2 year old son, and he absolutely loves it!For the last 6 months, he has played with it on a daily basis.He has brought it to the park where it is an instant magnet with the other youngters.We find it very stable and he has not had any falls worth mentioning.I think a 1 year old would be too young/short for it, but for children starting at 2 years old, it is a great toy.

My son loves his first motorcycle
My son always motorcyclesince I got my motorcycle last summer he is only 1-1/2 yr old but able to roll down from my driveway just like I do with my motorcycle. I also ride this litter motorcycle with my son with my legs up rolling down my fdriveway and guess what............. I did recall my childhood withought my motorcycle. Everybody happy in my family after getting motorcycle

I decided to purchase this bike despite negative reviews.You have to know your kid before you buy this, my son is two and would not recommend this to any younger child.Although he did fall off a few times he got right back on till he got the hang of it.It's a light toy so the childs weight could be a factor in children falling off.If you ride or your spouse rides I think it's a great first motorcycle for a kid to practice......... ... Makes a great walker!
My one year old got this for Easter, and we figured he'd have to grow into it, or if anything his 3 yo sister could use the scooter.Turns out they both prefer it in bike mode.My 1yo likes to use it as a walker; he'll grab the handle bars while pushing the bike backwards.So we're hoping to get some extra use out of this toy.But I do agree the wheels don't work the best when they put their weight on it, although it's not too bad to scoot around on the carpet.

BOOOO!!!
This scooter is horrible! It makes a nice seat and that's about all. None of my four boys can get it to roll more than an a few inches at a time before giving up in frustration. I realize that you wouldn't want a scooter to go fast for a toddler but this is ridiculous! It should atleast move...

WAY TOO HARD TO ROLL
MY HUSBAND AND I GOT THIS TOY FOR OUR DAUGHTER THIS PAST X-MAS, SHE WAS 19 MONTHS OLD AT THE TIME AND MASTERS EVERY OTHER TOY SHE GETS. THIS ONE IS SIMPLY TOO HARD FOR HER TO PUSH. Toy never arrived
My parents bought this horse for my daughter the first week in October.Every two weeks for the past two and a half months emails have been sent from Amazon saying there is a shipping delay--but since the order has been processed there can be no refund.When we emailed amazon they sent back canned responses about shipping times and did not answer our questions.Finally, I called the toll free number (which is answered in India) and spoke with a man who told me that they could not get this product and to call back later and try and get a refund.There is no indication on the web page that this horse is not available ... Super durable, great toy!
My little guy just loves and I mean LOVES his froggie sandbox!I left it out all winter and it doesn't look any worse for the wear.It's just so much fun for him and especially since he loves frogs, he talks to him whenever he's playing in the sandbox and makes up tons of froggie stories.Plus, it looks really cute in the yard and doesn't detract as much as some other items will.The only problem with it is that if there's a huge wind storm, the lid blows off quite easily.Can't tell you how many times I've run down the yard chasing "Froggie's head."Besides that, this is just a fantastic toy and so very durable.I just love Step 2's products.

LOADS of fun!
I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old...She loves her turtle! I have a long country porch and I decided to put it at the end of it so when it rains she still can play with it. I bought 5 bags of play sand and only needed 3. I did not fill it to the edge so that the sand toys and the sand would stay in the box. Also a benefit of keeping it on the porch was if any sand spills out I can sweep it up and put it back in the box. If I was to use it on the ground, I would probably put a small tarp under it for the same reason. All in all a very fun sand box for everyone!
