3-0 out of 5 stars No breaking system
Compared to the other Kettler trikes I thought this fairedbetter because of the rear parental steering system and handlebar steering lock but it's missing an important element and that is the BREAKING system.I don't know how the child is supposed to stop once they no longer need to rely on the parent or the parental handlebar is removed. The trike can pedal backwards so they can't stop that way either.

The Manufacturer says that the wheels are "SafetyTrax Dual Layer Wheel Tread" and I thought it would be rubber, but it feels more like plastic.

In short, navigability for parents is a plus, but lack of breaking system and plastic like wheels prompted me to give this product 3 stars.

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth the money
My parents bought this for the grandkids, thinking it would hold up.It sure has!My son (the third grandchild) used it more than the trike he got for xmas since it fit his smaller size.Plus the handle for parents helps them learn. It really is a great trike. The other one he got was too tall and dangerous b/c it could tip over too easily, plus he couldn't reach the peddles! This one is low to the ground and fit him much much better and it wasn't a problem for him to reach the peddles. He learned how to peddle with this trike before most of his other friends did too and I think it's b/c of this tricycle.

5-0 out of 5 stars A big hit!
I really can't tell you how much our son has loved this toy! We go for a ride on it everyday.... we bring everywhere with us, to the mall, around the neighborhood, and even around our house. We bought the attachement foot pad, which is right for the age of our son and I fully expect this toy to have staying power!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect for starters
Overall great price and built to last.... Unlike the plastic counterparts. This goes for generations. With out braking and fading..

5-0 out of 5 stars Great big hit!!!
I bought my daughter (21 mths old) a bike with training wheels that said for ages 18 mths - 3 yrs however she can barely reach the ground and can not reach the pedals.I took her with me for another bike and found this one.It is durable and she LOVES IT!I love to see her little face so happy. She can also get on and off by herself which is another plus.I would highly recommend this bike for toddlers and it is good until age 5!

5-0 out of 5 stars well worth the money!
We puchased this trike for our daughter for her 2nd birthday. It was an immeadiate hit. This trike has NEVER tipped over, even with "lead foot" behind the wheel. She was leary of trikes because of riding others that tip when you turn too sharply. This has a little stop that keeps the handlebars from spinning all the way around, so no tipping. She's now 4 years old and still likes to ride it. She's getting a little too big for it now, but loves that she can go "really fast",unlike her new "big girl" bike. It seems a little pricey, but if you have more than one child, it will definately hold up for a few more kids. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Much better that I expected!
My husband agreed that if we were going to do any outdoor recreational activities we would need one of those bike trailers for our the 11 month old twin boys, Jamie and Nicholas.

We obviously couldnt consider the bicycle seat with two children. And it was also completely unsafe. This trailer was just a "guess", it was expensive but we got it on sale so we thought we would try it.

This trailer was fairly easy to assemble, and I was actually quite surprized. It hooks onto my bike VERY easily, and than it can come off easily to exchange onto my husbands bicycle too. It is NOT easy to fold into the car, but we are able to get it done in 15 minutes or so, but its definatly worth it.

The first time my husband tried it, he did it without the boys, but with bags of sand, as to make sure his first try wont end up wtih an accident with the twins. It was very hard for him to use this for the first 10 minutes, but than after a while he was confident to buckle in our twin boys.

The restraint system was very secure, a 5pt. harness, my boys dont mind it either. The sling seats are actually very comfortable, and much better than hard-plastic seats. It doesnt handle too well as a stroller, but that wasnt my intended purpose. There is also a pocket for their helmets (ALL toddlers have to wear one, no matter how great of a rider you are) which was a VERY nice addition to a seat, if it didn't have those pockets there would be no way for the twins to sit back comfortably. The "trunk" in the back can hold a diaper bag and a lunch bag/sheet for picnics. If you only have one child you can store things next to them or even in front of them! There is also an optional cover for if its windy or rainy or cold, the children will be able to ride in any weather conditions.

My boys enjoyed it very much and I am so happy that I am able to keep up my exersize. Its very easy to turn with this trailer hitched on your bicycle, but I wouldnt recomend sharp turns or busy streets. I dont really enjoy using it as a "stand alone" stroller, but yet again thats not what I intended to use this for.

I can now safely go on a family bike ride, that is without pushing two tricycles! Its very comfortable and can handle any terrain. If you are part of an active family with one or two young children, I would reccomend you to purchase a bicycle trailer, and specifically this one! I am so happy that I bought it, and my now 20 month old twins are too, asnd I also have a 4 month old, so I am sure he will ADORE this trailer too!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Lil Rambler
I found this bike trailer at Toys R Us yesterday.I could not believe the price, $20.48, how great is that.My husband and I took the kids out today, 3yr old and 1 yr old and we all just loved it! highly recommend it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Great trailer with a couple of caveats...
First of all, we got this trailer at Toys'r'us at the beginning of february on sale for $75, so the price was absolutely unbeatable. Shop around if you can. Our 14-month old son absolutely loves to ride in this trailer. As other reviewers have said, it's extremely simple to setup and install, but we do have a couple of problems with it:

1) although it does have a helmet pocket above the back of the seat, our son is not yet tall enough to reach even though he's average height for his age. His head lurches forward and looks incredibly uncomfortable.
2) ALWAYS USE THE SAFETY STRAP when hitching this to your bike. I have had the trailer come loose one time when riding with my son, and thank god we had the safety strap connected. It appears that it had come loose because we had conected it too far back where the bar of my bike is slightly flattenend. Problem solved by hitching it a little further up, but this causes my foot to hit the connector when pedalling. We don't have this problem on my husband's bike.
3) When using as a stroller it feels very unsteady and easily tips back. Also, no brakes so easily runs away from you if not careful.

So, we love the trailer and the freedom it affords, just be sure to always attach the safety strap. I wouldn't really recommend this as a stroller other than for occasional use. The kids do seem to enjoy riding in it - I took my son and a friend's son to the park recently, and the friend's 4-year old daughter was so upset that she couldn't get to ride in it also!

I gave it 5 stars for fun, but only 3 overall due to the limitations listed and the fact that it came loose one time. I do agree with a previous reviewer also about contradicting instructions - the minimum age is listed in 2 different places as 12 months and 18 months, and the maximum speed is listed as 10mph and 20mph. The manufacturers need to make sure their information is correct where childrens' safety is as stake. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Sturdy, upper-end trike
We got this trike for our 2 1/2 year-old son who had had a Radio Flyer Steer & Stroll trike before. The Radio Flyer just wasn't cutting it - it tipped too easily, the seat had no back to it, and the plastic tires were just plain loud. Plus, the lack of a freewheel feature meant my son couldn't pedal backward or let his feet rest. So, we researched trikes, and despite the hefty price tag on the Kettler Jumbo, decided it was worth it. The seat is generous and tall, the frame is extremely sturdy, and best of all, I like the brake and steering features. Another bonus is how easily dismantled it is, making transporting it in our tiny trunk possible. It is compatible with the tandem insert, which we bought so my 11-month-old son could ride along, and we're impressed with the value the trike and tandem provide together. My biggest gripe is that I think for the price Kettler should make rubber air tires standard. The rubberized-plastic ones the Jumbo comes with are quieter than regular blastic tires, but I'm not impressed with the performance (they don't seem to grip the road or sidewalk as tightly as I'd like). But I wasn't about (...) more just for the privilege of rubber tires. If you can afford the Air Jumbo, that might be the better route to go.

5-0 out of 5 stars We have TWO
Our 20 month old twin sons just got these as a gift from my mother. They are just adorable and one of the best in the kettrike line. We just bought the tandem insert (it works on this one) and the parents handle. Our boys love riding them around the house and outside. It fits many shapes and sizes, our boys are in the 27th percentile and they fit, but with a quick adjustment my friends 3 year old 94th percentile daughter fits fine. This particular model has free wheeling, so the pedals dont turn when you push it. It comes with a basket in the back, my sons love that. But we also bought the seat belts (they dont use them) to foot rests, which are great, the tandem insert which alwows two kids to ride one kettrike, the parents steering bar, and a basket for the fronts which they also enjoy using sometimes. The colors are cute, primary and they are deffinatly trikes to last. Dont go for the cheaper ones, because thats just what you will get, a cheap hunk of junk!

5-0 out of 5 stars Fits all sizes 1.5-5 years
This review is written to explain how the adjustable frame works to the people who say their kids don't fit right on the trike. The frame of this trike is fully adjustable with a turn knob so that the distance from the seat to the pedals works for each individual child's size. Other trikes are on a one size fits all standard which doesn't work very long with the way kids grow! It's also great that you can adjust these for your child to grow with the Trike, because Kettler trikes are guaranteed to last as long as your child can ride it!! Read the instructions people! ... Editorial Review

Perfect for baby’s first ride-on toy, this plush pony has soft fur and a smooth plastic base and handles, leaving no parts that an unsteady toddler can get hurt on. The horse sits on a rocker for in-place riding and also has wheels that flip down for riders who want to hit the trail. For additional delight, this horse makes sound and wiggles his nose whenever his ears are squeezed. A squeeze to the left ear starts up a happy riding song, while a pinch to the right ear causes the horse to whinney or speak one of two different greetings. The electronic sound runs on two AA batteries, which are safely hidden in a zippered compartment in the horse’s belly. The horse comes with a riding hat that is a better fit for adults than toddlers. It comes unassembled but is easy to put together using the included instructions. --Cristina Vaamonde ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars My son loves this rocking horse!!
I bought this for my son's 1st birthday--he absolutely loves it. He is now 18 months & can now mount it himself & get off by himself & still loves this horsey. His father & I push him on it up & down our hard wood floored hallway & he loves it sooo much! He always has a big smile when on this & loves pressing the ears still to hear the song play. Excellent toy!!

5-0 out of 5 stars A Favorite
I bought this rocking horse for Christmas for my one year old son, and it is his second favorite toy (next to the hoover vacuum cleaner). It is the perfect size for him and I think he'll be able ride it for some time, my four year old daughther rides it too.He loves being able to get on and off the horse all by himself and pressing the ear to hear the song.It is a small horse but allows my son to "mount and dismount" all on his own.

1-0 out of 5 stars Adorable but dangerous
My 18 month old daughter loved this rocking horse. Then, during one of her rides, the horse flipped over frontwards and my toddler landed on her head and neck.In my opinion, the rockers on the horse are not designed properly if an 18 month old rider can cause the horse to flip over. The horse was assembled properly and my daughter was being supervised at the time of her "riding accident."This was one of our favorite toys, but after seeing how she fell, I feel that she could have really been hurt. So, unfortunately, we are going to have to put this horse down--as a riding toy, the wheels don't cut it.When I put the wheels down, my daughter just gets frustrated that she can't get the horse to rock anymore. ... Editorial Review

The Cozy Cruiser isn't the Cadillac of kiddie strollers, to be sure, but it certainly qualifies for Saturn status. This safe, reliable, well-designed stroller can either trail along behind a bicycle or be pushed ahead by steadily pounding feet. The 3-foot-long, 2-foot-wide jogger features a durable nylon-mesh sling-style seat that's big enough for one strapping tyke (or two tiny ones). A five-point, clip-and-hook harness system keeps occupants safely inside the craft at all times. They won't feel trapped, though, thanks to large side windows and a mesh "windshield" with a thoughtful roll-down cover to fend off the elements. In jogger mode, a foam-padded handlebar lets you do the pushing, while a James Bond-style hideaway wheel pops out in front. The jogger converts into a trailer in a snap, leaving no leftover parts, since the front wheel tucks under and the handlebar snaps down behind. The whole affair collapses easily for transport in the trunk of a car.--Paul Hughes ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars a great jogger
I bought this jogger after reading all of the reviews.I was a little optimistic at first, but as usual with little tikes, everything turned out to be okay!!My kids love riding in it, and i love using it.I jog on a flat surface, so there are no bumps, but i assume if the surface is not smooth, the ride for the kids will not be smooth as well.I would not blame it on the wheels of the jogger. To me, they seem very durable and long lasting.

2-0 out of 5 stars Disappointing Product
I just bought one second hand - should have read the reviews first.I have used several jogging strollers, but this one is very poorly designed.the front wheel attachment is very unstable, and as a result, the jogger has a tendency to pull to the left - spent more effort trying to keep it in a straight line than pushing it!Also, front wheel shows premature wear and warps. As a bike trailer only, it is adequate. However, attaching it to the bike can be challenging - best if you can do it once and leave it on.All in all, disappointing product from Little Tykes. You get what you pay for!

2-0 out of 5 stars Sheesh!
In the 2 years that I've had the cruiser behind a bike, both the wheels have already warped. Not what I expeced from Little Tykes. I'm having to deal w/buying new tires frequently due to flats because of the wheels. Now the whole thing wobbles making for a bumpy ride. Add to the fact that I couldn't purchase replacement wheels online. Ughhh! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars TOO CUTE!!!
I bought this item for my one year old son for Christmas. It was a great hit! I will admit, though, that we couldn't get the bubble blower to work at first, but then I had an epiphany that maybe the thing needed a NEW battery.....and EUREKA!!! IT WAS A BUBBLE-FEST IN MY HOUSE FROM THEN ON! The record/play back feature is also very amusing for little ones. My son was a late walker, and I give full credit to this toy in encouraging him to get up and push/walk with it. Heaven knows we tried EVERYTHING else to try to get him to walk!! We even had a TONKA truck version of this ride-on already in the house, but he never seemed interested in that. The Disney character voices are quite recognizable as those little fingers are pushing those buttons on the dashboard! I definitely believe that ride-on toys are helpful in giving newly-walking toddlers the confidence they need to take those first steps unassisted. After purchasing this product, my son started walking unassisted within two weeks! The reason I am only giving 4 stars for durability is that the bubble solution spills out when the kids tip the car over!! NOT FUN TO CLEAN UP, but I still think that the bubble-blowing feature makes this product stand out from the others!! ALSO-- I have found that bubble MACHINE solution refills (that you can buy at Wal-Mart) works MUCH BETTER than regular bubble solution. Hope you enjoy this product as much as my kids do! My 4 year old loves it as well (and so does the dog!)

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Ride-on We Ever Purchased!
This toy is amazing! We got it for my son at about 8 months, and he is now 18 months, and has played with it EVERY day since receiving it! It's got tons of buttons with lights, sounds, and music, plus a bubble blowing machine! It has a compartment to hide stuff in under the seat, and best of all, it has a microphone that you can record a message on! The kids can have endless hours of fun recording their voice and playing it back! Even his 6 year old sister plays with it!

5-0 out of 5 stars Five stars all around!
I love this wagon, such an upgrade from the old red tin wagon, and my 21 month old twin boys love it too!!!

I was in search of a wagon for my sons and this just seemed to be the best. It had a cute little drawer, and the sides could come off. The handle could store underneath for easy transporting and it just seemed like the best on the market so we bought it.

Well, this wagon really is the best wagon availible. The "cute little drawer" is a lifesaver! I love to pack pull-ups, wipes, drinks, snacks, a big sheet, my stuff, and even some toys... its HUGE!!! And its not too easy for my sons to open, you have to lift it a bit, and it wont open when you are pulling it, so thats great too. The sides that come off are so useful for yard work or if I have to go out to the nursery to pick up some flowers wor whatnot, its just very useful. The handle doesnt fall all over the place and is very comfortable to hold, and it makes it VERY easy to steer around those tight corners. Folding it under the wagon makes it great for putting it in the trunk of my Escolade or in the back of my husbands pick-up truck. I also like that the wheels are quite, you dont hear us coming from a mile away like my nieces wagon, and we dont have to yell with the boys 2 inches behind us! The little cup holders fit the avent magic cups well and its great for my twins, they love it. IT is great on grass too, so in the backyard my sons are constantly pulling eachother around and pulling anything else they can fit in it! They have learned to take turns pulling and they play many many games wiht it (they also know not to jump out of it when its moving... so it has educational value!) The wagon is great for the beach if we are going with relatives (can hold ALL the kids) or we put our sons in their joggers and use this to carry beach chairs and the beach bag, or our sons kettrikes. Its great for the park because it can hold a few toys and my sons and its sometimes better to use than my jogger or my Aria Twin... but not always!

I just love having so many ways to travel outdoors with my sons, this wagon is very durable and safe and probably the best out there... I love it, my husband loves it, my sons love it, and all of our friends and family love it... its terrific!

5-0 out of 5 stars THE BEST!!!!!!!
I Love This wagon!I have had other wagons and they were okay, they were just wagons.I love this one. When I take my 12 month old son to see his sister play ball, we use the bottom as a diaper bag, toy bag, it hold our snacks and drinks. He has a blast playing with the drawer once we get to our spot. It's large enough for 8 year old big sis to ride if she wants.Even with both it is easy to pull. It is also easy for my son to get in and out of.When he was 10 months old he used the drawer as a step.I gave it 5 star on educational, because we take on our adventures and it will somtimes become a "ship" as we sail down the street. LOVE IT!

5-0 out of 5 stars best wagon ever
First off, my toddler hates wagons, and when she saw this one in the store I couldn't get her off of it. She loves it. It is easily pulled around. My 7 year old and 4 friends piled in it and pulled it around. I love the drawer, you could fit 24 cans of soda in it. I pack snacks and drinks, diapers and a blancket and we go to the kids soccer game. I also like that you have to lift the drawer alittle to open it, and it has a catch, thats great cause the drawer won't fall out and my kids have to ask me to open it except for them just helping themselves to whatever is inside. The top also comes off to make a flat surface. I was running late one day and used it to rap presents during soccer practice. It's supper durable, since I bought it I've used it everywhere and on almost every type of surface, plus my kids abuse it some awfull and it still looks brand new. Super easy to put together too. The only draw back is that it's slightly bulky. Overall I completely love this wagon, it's functional for the whole family and it's a great toy. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Not worth the $5 I spent.
I purchased this toy for my 1 year old.I saw it online and thought to try it out in the store first.I found it for $5 at our local TRU vs. the $15 advertised online. It is very cheaply made.My daughter loved riding on it in the store, but once we got home and put it together the handle bars kept coming off. There is one screw and nut that holds the front tires and handles bars together and it won't stay put for more than 10 minutes.I find it dangerous.A serious choking hazard. Not the worth the $5 I paid, definately not worth the $15 online.

3-0 out of 5 stars nice ride
