5-0 out of 5 stars Toddler Transportation
My 3 year old son received this as a gift at 18 months and he has loved it ever since. He used it as a push toy then and now it's his means of transportation through the house. The buttons are safety related, like, "this is mommy, look both ways before crossing the street".It still looks and works like brand new and it's 2 years old, my 1 yr. old daughter is now enjoying it as well.Durable and sturdy, this one is a must have!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Still Used After 2 Years
I purchased this for my son's first Christmas 2 years ago and it is STILL his favorite toy. I would highly recommend this for any little boy who loves fire trucks. The best $30 I ever spent.

Time to sell (or buy) some ice cream! Now your toddler can tool aroundin his or her very own ice cream truck. This white ride-on bus is 20 incheslong, 7.5 inches wide, and 8.5 inches high at the seat, with a blue steeringwheel and 5-inch blue plastic wheels. The driver's console is a forest ofcolorful controls and buttons, including a gear shift, an ignition switch, and ahorn (each with its own sound effect), and eight "character" buttons thatrepresent either different kinds of ice cream or people, such as a policeman anda crossing guard. The purple plastic seat lifts up to reveal a storage spacecontaining four plastic ice cream play pieces that correspond to the buttons.--Richard Farr ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Fun toy -- but LOUD!!
My neice got this right after her first birthday. It is a great toy for learning to walk. Also fun for her to ride now.
However --
The phone is not attached so it is easily lost. The biggest problem we have with the toy is the volume. It is LOUD!!!!!!!!Way to loud to be repeatedly played inside...and if your child is anything like my niece, they will play it over and over and over and over and over and over and over.Be warned.

5-0 out of 5 stars Ice Cream Truck
Even my childs friends of all ages love this toy.

5-0 out of 5 stars A really great toy!
I have had this truck for almost two years and it has been played with steadily the entire time we have owned it.I purchased it for my son when he was a pre-walker, he loved it then, and now that he is a rough and tumble 2+ he and his friends continue to love it.First he used it to push and climb, now he uses it to scoot/race around the house alone or pushing a friend! It is a very durable toy, as testified by the multiple crashes it has had with walls, down stairs, etc.I have also left it outside (once in the rain) to no ill effect.Just a great toy.

I must admit when we first bought it I doubted it, thinking it was kindof well...tacky...but as I've grown as a mother I realize this is just exactly the kind of toy my son adores.

Here he comes now, pushing the Ice Cream Truck.Zoom zoom. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars This helmet is the best!
I looked all over for a helmet small enough to fit my son (he's 2-yrs-old, but still wears 18-months clothes). This is the only one I found that fits him now, and should fit him for a long time. It has a great adjustable chin strap, along with an adjustable band on the inside that snugs it up around his head so it will fit right. It also comes with removable padding inside to make it snug. And of course the silly monkeys are so cute! He actually likes wearing it, so I know it's not uncomfortable for him, which is important... if it doesn't feel good, then I can't expect him to want to wear it. It's highly adjustable, seems to be made very well, and is stylish. What more could you ask for?

5-0 out of 5 stars Cute first helmet for toddlers
We purchased this helmet for our 2 year old daughter after seeing it online and looking at many helmets. It is to go with a radio flyer red tricycle that we bought at Target for her birthday, it was the only red one we could find (all the ones for girls are pink/purple) and the target we went to had a lousy selection so we ended up tracking one down at Kmart of all places so we could see it in person and try it on rather than order it. She LOVED it and refused to take it off, and it is very good quality compared to cheaper models that we saw. I know that a helmet doesn't hold a lot of fun or educational value, but this is about as fun as you can get as far as design and since she loves it I know she will always want to wear it since it is also comfortable and it seems to be well made and designed. Can't wait to see her use it on the trike!!! Definitely reccommend. ... Read more

Emblazoned with the Barbie logo and a cheerful floral motif, this PowerWheels Barbie vehicle was designed in the distinctive shape of the newVolkswagen Beetle. The battery-powered Beetle has a multicolored frame andmeasures nearly 3 feet long and 27 inches wide. Sturdy enough to hold one driverat a time (weighing a maximum of 50 pounds), the Beetle comes with adriver's-side door that opens and closes and a power lock brake thatautomatically stops the vehicle when the driver's foot comes off the pedal.Powered by a 6-volt rechargeable battery (included, along with a charger), theBeetle moves slowly in either forward or reverse. Some parents might find thecar a little on the noisy side when operated indoors. Adult assembly required.--Chris Burns ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars great toy
i read all the reviews from this toy and i agree with all the good reviews. it works great on sidewalks, if u want something to go off roading (grass)then u should try looking at the power wheels jeep... my daughter has fun with this and shes only 20 months old. this toy should be only for up to 3 years, there are other power wheels that are for 3 years and up, and on the box it does say 2mph, u have to remember this is for a small kid, u dont want them to be speed racer now do u? but this toy is great even my 8 month old likes to see her sister play in it. love it....

1-0 out of 5 stars Save your money
We bought this for our little girl when she was about 18 months old, when it would not drive we thought she might not weigh enough so we kept it hoping it would eventually work. She is now 4 years old and this vehicle has never worked right. The battery and charger work just fine, there is just no traction.Called into customer service and they told me to use a traction belt, it still did not work.

5-0 out of 5 stars Not a bad car for the price
I bought this VW beetle for my 22 month old daughter and she loves it.I was hesitant about buying this one because of all the bad reviews it got, and the fact that the specs clearly state that it is only for HARD SURFACES and not grass (which is where she primarily uses it).I compared this one with the Lil' Trail Rider ATV - they both have the same voltage battery and same max speed but, for some reason, the Lil' Trail Rider said it ran on grass.I figured if that ran on grass then why not this one?So I brought it home, plugged in the battery charger and put the car together (2 hours!).Even though the instructions said to charge the battery for 18 hours before first use, I thought I'd test it out just to make sure it would ride on the grass and it rode fine.My daughter rode around our back yard for about 30 min and it even went up a little slope with no problem! It DOES ride a lot better on the driveway, but I'm very happy with it's performance on the grass. It's a little slow (max 2.5 MPH) and my concern is that the older/heavier she gets, it will only get slower.Guess I'll have to wait and see.

P.S.I went to Toys R Us to buy this 'cause I didn't want to pay shipping charges and in the store it was $149.99.I told them that on-line it was only $99.98 and they matched the price! ... Read more

Editorial Review

Tool-loving tots will adore this versatile van from Home Depot. Itfeatures an ample yellow seat and rides low enough so that small legs can kickit along, while a big black steering wheel moves the front wheels. A plastichandle easily attaches to the back, so the unit can be used as a walker fortoddlers just learning to toddle. But the star attraction here is the van'sdashboard, featuring an ignition switch, a throttle, a horn, and six differenttool buttons. The horn, throttle, and ignition all make realistic sounds, whilethe tool buttons identify themselves in a clear voice and explain their uses("This is a wrench, we use it to tighten nuts and bolts"). Less exciting was theHome Depot button, which exists merely to advertise the store. Regardless, wewere impressed, as was our 1-year-old tester, by how easily the voice featureswere activated on the dash. A toy construction helmet is included as are a toyhammer and toy wrench, both of which can be stored in a compartment under theseat. --John Moe ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The BEST push toy EVER!
This is my son's favorite toy, too! He got this for his 1st birthday and he is now 2 and STILL loves pushing it around! He has found numerous ways to use and abuse this toy and it has held up perfectly - barely a scratch! The buttons are SOOoo fun and say the cutest things - which is heaven for parents having to listen to other annoying toys all day! He practically learned how to walk with this thing and has built up great upper body strength with all the manuevering he does with it! It's an overall cool toy that is not cheesy at all compared to these other push/ride trucks out there. An A+ in my book!

5-0 out of 5 stars On it's second round
My now three year-year-old son got this for his first birthday and loved it immediately. He played with it rough and tumble everyday for over a year with no problems. We now have it back out for our soon to be one year old.The two are in a constant battle over who will play with it!
HINT FOR THE LOUD NOISE: COVER THE SPEAKER WITH CLEAR PACKING TAPE.WE DO THIS WITH ALL OF OUR TOYS AND THE NOISE IS CUT IN HALF!

4-0 out of 5 stars Very Nice!
My 2 year old son received this as a Christmas present and he rides it all of the time.He loves to push the buttons on it.Thanks to this toy he can tell you just about what any tool is.It has things to keep it from turning over when they ride on it but it doesn't always work especially if it is being rode outside! But otherwise this toy is great! ... This emergency-theme toddler ride-on shows both a policeman anda fireman looking out the window, and under the seat is a playset thatincludes both the policeman with his squad car and the fireman with ared rescue helicopter. Each of the 10 buttons on the control panel hasa different voice and sound effect (there are sirens, chopper blades,"Call 911," etc.), and there's one button that makes the bar lightsflash. There are several more sound buttons recessed into theplay/storage area under the seat. The truck is just shy of 2 feet long, and is 19 inches high at the rear handle. 5-0 out of 5 stars Toy for my grandson
I bought this toy for my grandson's first birthday and all I can say is that he loves playing with it. It is his favorite toy. As soon as he comes to my house this is the very first toy that he goes to play with. He likes to press the buttons to hear the different sounds and to see the flashing lights. He also likes to push it by walking behind it holding on to the attatched handle. I think it is a great toy for a child that is learning to walk. My grandson is getting better at learning to walk with this toy. I give this toy a big A+

5-0 out of 5 stars My son played with this toy for over 5 years !
My son received this toy for his 1st birthday (04/99). He continued to play with it until this year, when it accidently got pushed down the stairs and the steering wheel broke off (07/04). We were sad to say goodbye to this well loved toy. We are definetely going to be purchasing another one for my 14 month old daughter for Christmas!

4-0 out of 5 stars Has Provided Many Many Play HOURS
My Boys have played with this sooooo much. It was first indoors and now it is outdoors. The sounds no longer work after leaving it outside too much (sprinklers ... getting wet etc.) Despite that the boys play with it constantly. They are now able to make it go with their feet. They have the most fun Pushing it around. It is light enough for them to muscle it in the direction they want it to go. As far as durability I think the lid/seat came off once or twice and I just popped it back on and it has stayed. Also the black push handle comes out but I just push it back in there and the toy continues to be a favorite. It's a good value considering how much the boys have played with & abused this toy! They play with it Every day .. I would definitely buy it again. I bought it when my baby was around 11, 12 mos and he is now 20 months. At first he wasn't big enough to sit on it with his feet touching the ground. Before the sounds went out (my fault entirely) he spent hundreds of hours (literally) pushing those buttons. I am probably exaggerating but lets just say he pushed the buttons a lot. After awhile I would say "Lets put the fire out" "Dial 911" and he would get a big smile and go find the truck. Editorial Review

This classic is still spinnin' after all these years--and now it's better than ever. The Sit 'n Spin we all know and love has been spruced up for the new millennium with flashing lights and fun tunes. Just press any of the four buttons on the handle, and you're spinning to one of nine classic children's songs. Sure, it may be a little snazzier than you remember (thanks to the new colors), but the goal remains the same: hours of dizzying enjoyment. Your kids will love taking this whirling wonder for a spin just as much as you'll enjoy watching them. 3-0 out of 5 stars Lacks in durability...
When my 2 1/2 year old daughter spins herself the middle portion she's holding onto to spin practically turns all the way around with her. Cute music, love the fact that sit n spin is still around, but I remember it being a lot more durable. Pretty flimsy.

1-0 out of 5 stars waste of money
We bought this for our 3 year old for Christmas. The handle came out very easily every time she tried to spin herself. It was a hassle to keep on fitting the handle back in it's place every time she used it. Also, toddlers love to misuse their toys...and this one is no exception....only if a toddler stands on it, it spins them right on their butts! (mine took a nasty spill). Good luck with it.

4-0 out of 5 stars My daughter loved it
When I first bought this, my daughter was almost 2. Since she has turned 2 and had some time to figure out how exactly this Sit N Spin works, she loves it now. ... Read more
