disapointed!
steering mechanism is faulty. It tips over very easily. Don't forget your protective gear when riding. The push bar is okay. I expected more from radio flyer.

dangerous trike!
My son loves the trike.It is cute, stylish, and the push bar is great when he "lets" use it.But when he rides it himself it falls over with every turn.He has benn scratched and bruised from this fatal flaw. I reccomend it be recalled.

Great idea - poor execution for Radio Flyer
We received the trike as a gift and it seemed so perfect for our toddler.Assembly was a little difficult and we had to improvise.After 3 weeks of occasional use, the plastic steering parts began to crack.Radio Flyer was quick to send out new parts stating there has been a problem with the plastic parts.Reassembled with new parts and it worked again for another 4 weeks.We took off the steering bar and hoped to use the trike that way.Unfortunately that didn't work either.We just set it out with the garbage which possessed me to write a review. ... Where's the air?
This is a great pool if love buying it over and over again. We've had fun buying it 4 times in 2 summers. Our latest only lasted about 2 months and these definately will not make it from season to season. Too bad. My kids love it so much they have purchased 2 pools with their own money because I refused to continue to buy a product with such poor durability. I give it a thumbs down.

I loved the pool. It was big enough for me to get in with my grandson who is only four. I didn't completely fill the pool so there wasn't too much water for his size--and I was in too. There was enough room and water for him to use a little swim ring to float around and plenty of room to play.

However, there should be a sign on the pool box that reads THIS POOL MUST BE INFLATED WITH AN ELECTRIC PUMP!!!!! I tried everything to get air in. I tried for hours! I made two trips to the hardware store carrying the pool box with me. I bought a bicycle pump and then went back and bought an attachment. Nothing worked. I had to go to WalMart--out of the way from where I live--and buy an electric pump. I wanted it inflated and ready when he came to visit and I wasn't expecting not to be able to use a bicycle pump or ME to blow it up. I didn't have it ready for him and that was disappointing. If I KNEW what to expect, then I could have planned better.

One thing I did which was good was to buy a piece of carpet pad the size of the pool to put underneath. Since I had the pool in my driveway, this was a great thing.

Pool is great; "E" filter sized pump BAD
This is my second 10 ft by 30 inch pool. Last summer's pool came with an "A" sized filter pump, which attached via hoses to the side walls. We had no problems with that pool. the filter worked great.

Due to improper storage on my part, I needed to replace the pool this summer. Unfortunately, Intex reissued the pool with a "clip over the side" filter pump taking an "E" sized filter. This is half the size of the "A" filter and does, frankly, an EXTREMELY poor job cleaning the pool compared with the design we had last year.

I've gerryrigged last years "A" filter (no small feat, since there aren't side attachments for the hoses in this new pool!) to clean the pool...in an hour the water is looking cleaner than it has after running the included "E" filter for a day. There's a huge performance difference between the sizes and pumps so make sure you know what you're getting when you purchase or order.

3 Years and still running!
Grandpa & Grandma bought our 2 year old this jeep for his birthday.That was 3 years ago next month.We were thrilled it was a two seater so our older son (3 1/2 at the time) could share it.I highly recommend getting a 2 seater - even if you have one child.It hasn't stopped being used in 3 years - by everyone.My kids, the neighbors, cousins all love it.

Six months ago we had to purchase another battery (...) but overall felt we got a lot of use out of the original battery.We just noticed that the 2 back tires are beginning to wear out.You can realistically expect a couple of years worth of wear.It is a toy.It is made of plastic.And kids (at least my boys) love being on the rough side with it.

The kids love it so much We're considering purchasing two new vehicles next month for birthdays (and retiring our present jeep).They are WELL WORTH THE INVESTMENT!

Best battery vehicle ever!
I got this jeep for my son's first birthday, and he is just about to turn 2, he loves it! He will be able to enjoy it for a long time!

My son LOVES his jeep!
Very easy for 2 adults to assemble. Took my husband and I about 45 minutes. The hardest part was waiting the 18 hours for the battery to be charged to watch my son enjoy his new toy! A word of advice, assemble and charge battery BEFORE giving to your child as a gift! We've had the jeep for 5 months now and it is extremely durable. HE loves to pick up his friend down the street and take him for a ride. He always puts the seatbelt on before driving it, and makes sure any passenger does the same. My only complaint is that it is difficult to steer. My son is just now learing to steer.The steering is very tight, and my son just wasn't strong enough to turn it. Buy. But very challenging
You should buy this toy. Don't hit people. (the gun hits fast.) but if the target is higher then you, it's hard to hit for a while.overall:4.4

Fun toy
This is a really fun toy. I've played with my younger brother with this for longer than he has ever played with any toy. The target offers several modes for keeping score and it keeps me excited. Everything is not the best though, the sensitivity of the target is good enough, and sometimes the target sometimes does not seem to recognize a hit.The gun is actually very very powerful; the darts carry a good load which is probably needed to make sure that the hits register on the target.

HUGE disappointment
We had purchased the table for our 2 year old. As with other reviews I have just read, the two ends of the table do not fit together, making it impossible to use it as it was designed. Also, the plug does not fit correctly, causing the all of the water to leak out. I am VERY unimpressed with this product and expected far more from something with the Little Tikes name on it. I would not recommend this sand and water table to anyone.

My kids love it!!!
We also have had this sand table outside for 2 years and it has held up great.My 3 year old and 18 month old think it is the best toy they have.Both kids have long attention spans at this table. Putting it together initially was frustrating, but once you figure it out it will be very easy. I would have given it 5 stars if two things were changed...1. The drain should have been designed to pull from the bottom where it wouldn't be so tempting for kids to pull out. 2. If water did not get into the lid of the unit.Otherwise...it's priceless.

Not as fun or convenient as we thought
We bought this table 2 years ago.When we first had it we used it inside.I put water in both sides in a room with vinyl floors and towels underneath, and my daughter's playgroup had a blast with it.Closing the table up however was nearly impossible (I don't think I have ever been able to do it...always have to wait for my husband to open or close it up).We never once used it as a drawing table when closed up...it is too tall to sit at and the table surface isn't so smooth.

Last summer we put the table outside...we put itslightly under cover under our swingset's gazebo (with an awning) to help "protect" it from the elements.Well after one season the table was gross...rain water still got trapped in the two pieces (I am frightened to know what sort of mildew must be growing in there!). The whole lid is all mildewed, so it will never come in my house as an activity table. Even when we closed the lid, the sand got soaked.There were times that I was scooping out buckets of water so the kids might be able to play in the sand.

And although it is a great idea to have sand and water play side by side...it just doesn't work with how 2-4 year olds play.Our water side always had sand in it (perhaps it was also from the rain?).

We haven't opened it up yet this year...we are debating about just getting rid of it, but perhaps we will try some of the suggestions to drill holes to drain the water and we will give it a good powerwash first.It is a shame, because I am sure my 1.5 and 4.5 year olds would love to play in it again this year...who knows if it will be around next summer. ... Extremley Fun, But A Little Messy
I'm thirteen and my little sister plays with her catch a bubble thing, all the time.It's great because it lasts longer and doesn't spill like regular bubbles.However, if your child catches a bubble and squishes it in his/her hands it is very messy, kind of like glue.If it does spill, it's hard to wash out of rugs, but easy to wipe of hard surfaces.Overall I say buy this product, but be prepared for a little mess. :)

we are bubble experts in our house and these are the best we've seen yet. there are other bubbles on the market that don't pop easily (for catching, stacking, etc) but this comes with an immeasurable advantage: a plastic seal that you can push the blower through but keeps the liquid from spilling... like the top to a fast food beverage...that kind, but more sturdy. My 4,3 and 1 year old can play with bubbles for hours, but most bubbles don't last that long because they inevitably spill or get dropped and the bubble solution comes flooding out and its all gone. these dont spill!!

its true they get a little stickier than your run-of-the-mill bubbles...but my kids use them in the garage or outside (maybe the kitchen if its bad weather) and its fine. the ones we did get on stuff (the computer, table, rugs, books, etc) cleaned up easily...so it wasn't a big deal when they did land on objects inside.
my daughter got a 5-pack for her birthday and i'm online today to buy more all our friends' birthdays!!

Lots of fun for 3 year old!
I was suprised by the number of negative reviews on this item. I actually purchased mine secondhand so I did not have to go through the filling of the base with sand, this was already done.We have had it for about a week and my daughter has bounced on it every day.She just turned three and is pretty big for her age, and she does not have any trouble at all reaching the floor. She really enjoys bouncing on it so I think your child would need to be at least three to be able to enjoy this toy.She has not been able to spin it at all, but since she just enjoys bouncing, I don't think it is necessary.Overall, I think it is an enjoyable toy as long as your child is big enough and old enough to play with it.I do not think I would have paid 60.00 for it though.

My little guy loves it
I read all the reviews but decided to see for myself.First of all, the playground sand was not that difficult to get in, it just took a while to do it but I have spent much more time putting other toys together.With the ball completely inflated, my son, who is almost two, couldn't quite reach the floor.I let some air out of the ball and he could reach the floor and still had plenty of bounce.He still enjoys Mommy helping him bounce but he can do it himself too.In a couple of months, I'm sure he will be able to spin around by himself too.Overall, I think this is a great toy.

fun but helmet too small
My almost 4 year old has fun with these skates.They are not fast enough to be dangerous or scary.Only problem is that the helmet is very small.It doesn't even fit my 10 month old, much less the 4 year old it is intended to fit.Beware if your child's head is larger than average!

Only Two Years Old and Blading already!!!
I got these for my 28 month old daughter for Valentines Day as she is fascinated by skating. They are a pain to put on, but she doesn't mind. They have "beginner" settings, which she used for the first hour and then it was on to the "expert" setting! What I like is all the safety gear come with them, so she knows that she has to wear it "all or nothing". These are great and seem to be safe and sturdy...with supervision, of course!

My son got this for his 3rd birthday, and since then I think he's tried the skating maybe 4 times in the past 8 months. He likes wearing the helmet, knee and wrist guards, but the skates are hard to put on. He's pretty agile, but I think this might be more appropriate for a 4 year old or older child. Rockin'!
Although it's supposed to be for three years and up, I bought it for my daughter's first birthday. I figured that we could have fun with it anyway. I couldn't have been more right. From the moment she saw it, she only wanted to play on the horse. Initially it started with me putting her on the horse and helping her rock, however within a few months she was climbing up and down and rocking on her own. It's hard to believe
I didn't think that kids would actually like this. It seemed like such a stupid toy.

YetI took my kids to playgroup and a group of 10 3 and 4 year olds spent over and hour crawling through it. (I think they were playing rescue mission or something). Then they kept asking for it every day after that! Go figure.

A MUST HAVE toddler toy!
My daughter is 1yrs old and this is her absolutely favorite toy! She spends endless hours day in and day out in it. Her 7yr old Aunt plays with her in it everytime she comes over too. It folds up and expands with in seconds. It really is a MUST HAVE toy for any toddler!! We are even buying a second tunnel to attach them together for her 2nd birthday.My advice: "Just buy it"!

The BEST !
My kids ages 2 1/2 and 18 months LOVE this tunnel. We got it for the kids for Christmas and keep it put away and bring it out about 3X a week in the evenings when we have had a slow day and the kids didn't get any energy out. They go CRAZY, they play and run and scream and crack up! My husband drags them through the house super fast and they sit in it and laugh their butts off. You can play peek a boo, or roll balls through it, the possibilities are endless!

Tunnel Training
This is a very good item for backyard use in training agility to my aussie dogs.The 22" dia is almost regulation size. They love it, altho, one likes to jump into the middle of it when one of the other dogs is running thru it!!I have one worn spot of material on a hoop after using it a very short time.I'm pleased with the reaction of my dogs to this tunnel.

We bought two and they really do fit together ! !
We have a dog kennel and 2 dogs. During the spring and summer we play "let the dog in , let the dog out". With the 2 tunnels, we put them together, made a door and kennel inset and now we are free from their desires to be in and out at the same time! ! To train we openend the tunnel in the house, between their favorite rooms and within minutes the dogs (and the cats)were racing through. My Son Loves This Sub!
My son got this sub for his first birthday and has loved it from day one!He has so much fun in there and plays in it everyday.The only problem is the balls were all deflated when we got it but after a phone call to the company they sent over replacement balls.Also you do have to add in more air once in awhile to keep it upright especially if you didn't order the air pump.We blew it up by ourselves.We recommend ordering the air pump for it.

My daughter loves this
We purchased it for Christmas 03 and she fell in love.All the kids who come and visit have to go inside, even the big ones.

Problem is that it developed a hole and we have no clue where it is.So we just keep adding air every few days.

Perfect Underwater Retreat
I bought this Sub for my daughter for her First birthday. She's now 2 and still loves playing and exploring. Not a day goes by without climbing in one side and out the other and back again. I've taught her how to recoginze the letters and she'll spell Submarine out, then we go thru our colours and the 'anatomy' of a fish.
One way I've kept her interested and saved money is, I put all of her baby blankets over the top, turning it into a tent and she hides in there while I get ready for the day. If she wants a blanket she just takes one off the top instead of getting into a dresser drawer or having them scattered everywhere. I've also tossed all of her stuffed animals inside making it soft and cozy, and an out of the way place to put all of her buddys. (Saving from buying another toy chest) She's also learned that I can sit inside with her to read books or explore the ocean.
I plan on using this as a small wading pool when she's old enough, yet again saving money and keeping her interested.

My nieghbors have one and I can't wait to get one also, yeahaw.Summer in Florida is so hot, this i'l cool you off.Just don't set it up next to your house, or the little rug rats will start jumpin off the roof, practisin thier triple half gainers and shtuff.

We just got the 12x3 Intex pool. Thank you for the tip on using old carpet. So far no problems.. We have only had it for three days. So I'm going to keep my fingers cross!! We have no dogs or cats and I have had the cover on it every night. The kids love it!

Summer of Fun!
Wow, I can't believe some of these reviews.For the past two years, we had an Intex pool (smaller than this one).This year, since the kids were getting bigger, we decided on a bigger pool.We learned from the Intex one that the ground needed to be level.It wasn't the previous years and I insisted we do it right this time (there's a one foot difference from one side to the other, we found out).We got a load of sand which, according to the instructions is a no-no.As long as you make the sand base wider than the pool (when it's filled so add a couple feet to the diameter), it's fine.Otherwise, the pool will just flop over the sides.The sand also helps cushion the bottom.Once we got it up and filled (which was not a problem since we'd done this before the past few years), we haven't had any problems.The filter actually seems to be a little stonger than the Intex - although to be fair, the pool is bigger and none of them are as strong as you need.I haven't used the pool vacuum yet but I like the design better than the Intex - that one was a nightmare.For the record, the sides have not caved for us yet but the Intex one did a couple of times when the kids leaned too hard - you just turn it back up.We've had no leaks and the ladder is fine.Not the strongest but suitable and easy to assemble.Bottom line, for the money, it does a good job, it just takes some patience. ... Super racer !!!!
Well worth the money. I bought this for my 2 yr old for his birthday and it took him no time to learn to ride. Not only my 2 year old can ride it, but my 5 year old also can ride. I have even let them ride together. Does better on a hard surface but does well in the grass with some slipping (flat yard is a must). I have had this racer for 2 months and the gas peddle is going out but Step 2 is sending another no questions asked. #1 custumer service. I would make this purchase again if I see use for one in the future. Super that you have a large age span that can ride. Tired of buying products that they out grow in 1 year. If thinking of buying Power Wheels 4 wheeler for your little one I recommend waiting a few more months and purchase this instead

Buyer Beware, Very Disappointed
We bought this three wheeler for our son who just turned 2 for Christmas. However, it took him until April to just get on and ride it (this due to the jolt you get from stepping on the gas it was kind of scary to him and to the neighbor boy who turned 2 last August).Once they got use to it then it was no problem EXCEPT this vehicle will turn over on your child if they turn it to fast or if they go to fast around a corner.For the same reason they took 3 wheelers off the market they should also take this one off too.I would not recommend this for your child unless they are over 3 1/2 and even then I would not recommend this to be their first vehicle. ... NOT FUN!
We bought this scooter for our 3 1/2 year old. The back wheels do not have a protective cover over the screws that stick out of the center of the wheel like most scooter for young children do.Our son's ankle would constantly hit it when he pushed off with his foot.He refuses to ride it now and has bruises from it.To make matters worse Toys R us does not accept returns of toys that have been put together.(...)

Fun for little rangers with scooter-riding big brothers
Our three-year old loves the Power Rangers and he also begs for rides on his brothers' scooters.When he saw this scooter he was very excited and couldn't wait to try it.

He has been riding around on this scooter for a couple of days and enjoys it very much.Although the scooter has three wheels, it has a narrow profile and can still tip over and cause some minor scrapes.However, as long as it's not going too fast it can be handled by a three-year old.

The scooter seems durable enough.It managed to survive the very poor packing job done by Toys R Us... actually, it wasn't packed.It had a shipping label slapped on the side of the retail box.The box arrived via FedEx ground with all corners crushed and part of one end caved in, tape torn and partially opened.

Surprizingly, there was no damage and no missing parts!The only small parts are a couple of washers and a fastener which were all wrapped and taped to a larger part.There are just the front handlbars/wheel part which slides into the rear footbed part with some washers and a single bolt to tighten.Very easily assembled.

I expect that we will get a lot of use out of this toy. ... Read more
