Great toy for babies!
My daughter has had this toy since she was only a few months old and loved for me to play peek a boo with it.I would make the bunny pop out and then the flower and so on.It always guaranteed a smile, if not a few baby belly laughs!Now that she is older she won't go to sleep at night without this cube in her crib and my husband and I can often hear her playing on her own with it as she prepares to go to sleep at night and when she just wakes up in the morning.She likes to look for the bunny behind the flaps!The toy is soft and the colors are nice.I recommend this toy to anyone with a baby. ... 9.98 for a reason
You get what you pay for in this case.My daughter was given this as a gift a year ago and it has been a dust collector ever since.She hates this ELMO because is falls over.He should be called clumsy ELMO.My daughter has the Hokey Pokey ELMO too and that is a 10+.

Lil Jay's mommy and her thoughts!
Well my son has SO MANY elmo toys that dance and sing and I must say this one is GREAT! Ours has never fallen over unless my son pushed him and the song and dance are TOO CUTE!! It makes everyone wanna get up and dance my 1 year old gets a kick out of it and even shakes his arms like elmo! The limbo stick is quite irritating though I would think they would have attached it to elmo! Its basically pointless my son chews on it but thats about it! Overall this toy is GREAT just minus the limbo stick!

Fun to play with........once!

Not worth the money
This toy would have great potention to be both fun and educational, if only you could hear what elmo is saying.The sound of the jaw moving covers every word coming out of elmo's mouth rendering the toy useless.As a result my son (19 months) would rather play with his other elmo doll, that says not a word but it great to cuddle with.And this elmo just sits on a shelf rarely touched.Don't waste your money.

Poor Quality...darn
Despite the poor reviews on this item, I bought it for my then-12-month-old who loves Elmo. Out of the box, when Elmo would talk, his mouth would "click, click, click" and get stuck. This is exactly what all the reviews I had read stated. Amazon promptly exchanged it for me, and the same happens with our new one, although not as badly.

It's still a cute toy in terms of educational value. And I like that it can sit up on its own. But it is a very hard "stuffed animal" and not so great for cuddling.

If you're a huge Elmo fan and feel you must have this, know what you're getting in terms of reliability and quality.At the clearance price, I'd say it's worth a shot. I gave it a rating of 2 overall because it consistently fails to perform as designed.

the best elmo on the market!
i bought this item for my one year old daughter.although it's a little sophisticated for her, she loves elmo and we play with it together.he says lots of fun phrases and is a much better looking elmo doll than most of the others i have seen.i have but one complaint, i thought the way elmo moves his mouth when he "speaks" was a great feature but it occasionally sticks and makes a loud popping noise.it scares the baby, so she doesn't play with it as often as she might otherwise.overall, i still think it's great and she'll have even more fun with it when she gets a bit older. ... As much fun for mom as baby (almost...)
I couldn't resist buying this toy, even though I *knew* my daughter was too young to play with it (5wks when I ordered). It was such a charming idea and I figured I could use it for decoration until she grew some. When it arrived, I ended up amusing the two of us as I played with and she watched, figuring out what each segment of Charlie does. Now, at almost two months, she reaches for this toy and likes for me to hold it up for her to touch and look at (she's still too young to hold it - it's fairly heavy, but I guess since it's for 9 month old babies....). Charlie even motivates her to creep toward him during tummy time. I love this beautiful toy and am certain she'll like it for years to come. Also, not only does it have the look of a toy to be passed down, it certainly has the durability - my pit bull puppy loves to steal baby toys and this is among his favorites, but he hasn't managed to injure it....yet... ;)

Love It!
This toy is too cute and my three month old loves it.It is a little heavy so he will probably enjoy it a lot more when he can pick it up on his own and play with it.For now he is happy enough to just look at all the fun colors and patterns and he likes to hear the noises the differrent sections make.Would recommend this toy. ...
