5-0 out of 5 stars I'm So Glad I Found It!
My family and I played this game this pass weekend and I have never laughed so hard in my life! This game is too much fun!Not only do you get to learn about the people you are with, but you also get to find out just how witty or clever they are!I'm related to a bunch of comedians!I can't wait to play this with my friends!

5-0 out of 5 stars Laughed so hard...
My family are avid board game players, and we absolutely love this game.We are a family of smart asses and it feeds right into our sense of humor. You answer the loaded questions (e.g. What is your best body part? What do you wish you never had to hear about again? What rich person do you think doesn't deserve it?) and try to guess who gave which answer. We work inside jokes into the questions and often answer sarcastically or try to throw each other off with answers we think others would give.Sometimes the person reading the answers cannot even get through them for laughing so hilariously. It depends on the group but I've nearly wet myself everytime I've played this.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful game- full of laughs
This game is perfect for a group of friends.Whether lifelongs friends or new aquaintences, its a perfect way to get to know each other- or test your friends knowledge of you... ... Read more

Editorial Review

Count on Trivial Pursuit to keep up with new millennium trends. This tremendously popular game has been updated with a fun DVD feature that allows players to view TV clips, songs, commercials, movie scenes, and more tidbits from pop culture. As in the original Trivial Pursuit game, two to four adult players (or teams) pose questions to one another in six categories, in this case TV, Fads, Buzz, Music, Movies, and Sports & Games. As they correctly answer questions, players move around the board, collecting colored wedges. To win a scoring wedge, though, players must answer an on-screen question with a variety of visual cues. So rev up those pop culture engines and get ready to come up with the name of Big Star's first record or the candy Ronald Reagan favored. The game includes game board, DVD, 400 question-and-answer cards, one die, four cute tokens (lava lamp, mixed tape entitled "Awesome Mix/Makeout Tunes," cell phone, and joystick), 30 scoring wedges, and instructions. Note: although the game features over 2,000 new questions, only a few hundred of them are DVD questions, leading to inevitable repetition. --Emilie Coulter ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome Game!!
I loved this game! I got for christmas this year and i had a blast with it! The 20th anniversary edition was always so hard for me, but the pop culture verision was so much more easier to play. If you want a game that is easy and fun buy the pop culture version. If you want something extremly hard by the 20th anniversary edition.

4-0 out of 5 stars This game is a lot of fun.
This game really helped us out during a very boring family party. The questions are great for ages 18-65. Be Warned: Your Grandmother and Great Aunt won't be able to answer these questions!!!!!
I agree with the other reviews regarding the DVD. The same questions keep popping up and you're forced to see "Animal House" over and over again. Overall, we enjoyed the game.

3-0 out of 5 stars A bit deceiving and not what we expected
We thought it would be fun and a nice change to the game to have the questions on DVD.From the description on the box, you get the idea that all the questions come from the DVD, but they do not.The DVD is used to win a piece for each category and to win the game. The rest of the questions are still on cards like all the other games.Just disappointed that it wasn't what we expected.

The questions are good, not as difficult as some versions.Which may be more fun for those people who are not die hard trivia people that don't enjoy the most obscure questions. The tokens are nice and unusual.

So if you are a more general knowledge person or not a hard core trivia you may like this game.I would give it a higher rating, except it bills itself to be an interactive DVD game and that is just a small part of it and gets to be a bit tedious after a while. ... Read more

Editorial Review

That iMAgiNiff was developed by two brothers (in Australia) makes perfect sense, because this is a board game you'll want to share with family and friends. It's simple to play. A set of names is chosen, usually the name of every player plus those of several absent friends. When it's your turn, one name is selected as the subject of the question. You pick a card--one of hundreds--that poses a question and six possible answers (for example, "Imaginiff _____ were a crime. Which would he/she be?"). Read the question aloud, plugging in the subject's name. Then read out the six answers (in this case, they range from "homicide" to "indecent exposure"). Each player picks an answer to fit the subject; those who have picked the most popular answer move forward. But though you win by advancing, winning is obviously not the point: laughter and arguments are. The questions on the cards range from the ridiculous ("Imaginiff _____ were a body part.") to the provocative ("Imaginiff _____ had to decide which of the following values is most important."). The game is a fun cross between Scruples and True Colors. --Elisa Murray ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Not for 2 players
I was looking for games that 2 people could play. The site states that it is for 2 to 8 players. It is not. When I got the game and started reading the instructions it became clear that you need at least 3 players. Then I looked on the box and it clearly states "for 3 to 8 players". I don't know how to rate it because we did not get to play it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Kid's point of view
I am 14 years old and I played this game recently at a family reunion. We had a blast!Everybody joined in on the game: my grandparents, my uncle and aunt, my dad, my cousins, etc.Even my 6 year old cousin was able to play with us.This is a very sociable game.I would say that the only problem was that only 8 people could play!

5-0 out of 5 stars "The funniest game you can imagine!"
"iMAGiNiff" is a fun game for all. Great tool for learning more about your friends and laughing your head off at the same time!Truly a game that you have fun whether you win or lose--there should be more games like this! Having fun is the reason why we play games, after all.

"iMAGiNiff" calls for 3-8 players ages 12 and up. This game isn't designed for young kids, but I have a six year-old daughter and she always wants to play along on games when we have our friends over but she rarely can. "iMAGiNiff" is great for kids! We just gave her a pawn and matching color cards and let her put down a number one through six and over half the time she got it right (said what most other people said.) We kept her tied with the winner so even though she didn't really "play" she felt like a winnner.Good, because she IS! She laughed and had as great a time as the rest of us! (Now when does that happen when kids play games?) For younger kids, this helps them learn their numbers and colors.Of course, this again, ISN'T designed for kids, it is for adults but the fact that your kids CAN PLAY along (if need be) without disturbing your fun is just brilliant.

I'll share a question where I was the blank: "iMAGiNiff" Kellye were something worn on the hand. What would she be?" 1 Brass knuckles 2 Silk Glove 3 Diamond Ring 4 Rubber Glove 5 Puppet 6 Mitten. [Quick, friends that are reading this, guess an answer.] One friend and my husband got it right and another friend answered puppet.Well, three, diamond ring was my answer after debating between picking brass knuckles since I am a kickboxer and would love to do a mean punch if I ever needed to and then rubber gloves since I am studying to be a nurse. But diamonds after all, are a girl's best friend! I didn't like the puppett answer (I am not one to be controlled, buddy!) but my friend explained he put that because puppets were fun and I was fun.So if you get a weird answer you can always ask them to explain. I was slowest putting down answers about everyone because I love to imagine! The one thing I don't like about the game is that when one puts down an answer about oneself, seems like that should be the definitive answer but it isn't, majority rules; paradoxically, this fact actually makes it all the funner because it helps you see how other people see you. I do hope the makers come up with refill cards to buy because we will be wearing this game out, everyone loves it.

This game is an Essential for get-togethers with your friends! Buy it now! You are truly missing out if you don't own it.

Clear your throat and drink that honey-lemon tea: It's time toplay Encore, the game of dueling larynxes. The goal is to come up witha song that contains particular words--and then sing lines from thesong that contains those words. Here's how it works: The first teamturns up a card featuring five words; the two teams then take turnssinging at least six words of any song that contains one of those five. The round continues until one team is stumped, which, if the word is"love," could take a while. But repetition is not allowed, and forevery "said" and "moon," there's a "highway" or "piano"--whaddya dowhen you've exhausted the Billy Joel songbook? And it's great to draw alyric that's in a song title, but if you don't know five others thatcome after, you'll be like the player who drew "nice"; he spent theentire run of the sand timer with his shoulders hunched like Sinatrabecause he couldn't connect "and let's make all the stops along theway" with the song's title, "Nice 'N' Easy." Oh, and don't play Encorewith Renaissance Faire actors--when they draw the word "lady," they'llcome up with an inexhaustible supply of 15th-century madrigals. Onlyafter they've won will you discover that they were all bogus. --TonyMason ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Good - Well, Most of the time
Do not get me wrong, Encore is a great game. There are just a few things that make it less enjoyable.First of all, it is hard to explain the rules and gameplay to some people. Some people understand it right away, but others do not.Second of all, how can you land in the grand finale exactly when you have two dice - and are one spot away from it? Third (and my biggest point of all) anyone with half a brain could act like they didn't know a song until the other team flipped the timer over and then "suprisingly" start singing it.

It also is very easy to make up songs that no one has ever heard of and say that they are real.If you can kind of make your own rules up, buy this game.If you are the type of person who ALWAYS has to follow every rule in the instruction book, stay away.

5-0 out of 5 stars Favorite Board Game
My family LOVES this game. You never know where your inspiration will come from; in my house we've gone from Sinatra to Dead Kennedys to vacation bible school songs. You spend as much time laughing as singing!Forget musical talent! As long as you know the words and can closely approximate the tune, you're golden.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Game Ever
We are big game players and have never had more fun with any other game. It's great for a party of adults, for adults with kids, for college kids...whatever. People always talk about it weeks after we play. Our middle school son and his friends will always join in if they see us playing with friends which says a great deal!! We've played with all of our friends, our kids, both sets of parents (!), relatives, my minister, people from other countries and people we didn't know at all. I would say it's the perfect icebreaker but you won't stop playing. LOL They put the board back in which is great. There should be a tv show! Our 17 year old would be world champ! ... Read more

What food gives Popeye strength? What country calls its native inhabitants "aborigines"? What street sport sees cuts and scrapes from falls called "munchies"? Answer correctly and you just might score a wedge in the junior version of the wildly popular Trivial Pursuit. Using the same game play as the adult edition--players move their pieces around the board, answering questions in hopes of collecting all six scoring wedges--this kid-friendly format includes categories just for the 8-and-older crowd. Young trivia buffs will be challenged and entertained by this lively game of wits and memory. But the real fun comes when adults try to join the game. So, Pop, what are Wakko, Yakko, and Dot better known as? The game, for two to four players or teams, includes a 20-by-20-inch folding gameboard, question-and-answer cards, dice, four tokens, and 24 scoring wedges. Oh, yes, Wakko et al. are Animaniacs! --Emilie Coulter ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great
This is a great version of the game. We got this for our 11 year old son and it is fun to play. It is easier than the regular edition (no surprise). The really nice thing is that it has multiple choice -- each question has three options to choose between. The instructions are simple and the questions are good, with a wide range of interests. Definitely recommended for children and families.

3-0 out of 5 stars Okay for very young ones
(I'm writing from the perspective of a 35 year-old.)You don't get a whole lot of questions (two small decks), and we have come across a few that do not match the category they are supposed to represent (e.g., a question about painters in the "games" category). The game seems to have been put together quickly and cheaply. You don't get plastic "pie" pieces as in the adult version, you get cardboard slices that you set on top of pictures of the pies that are drawn on the corners of the gameboard (not a major complaint but the colors of the drawings exactly match the colors of the cardboard pie-slice markers, making it hard to see them). The questions include multiple choice answers, so it's accordingly easier to get them.Of course you can simply omit the choices when reading the questions if you want to increase the level of difficulty. It's not a bad game, but it's not an excellent game either.Middle of the road.Probably best for kids under 12.

5-0 out of 5 stars FUN GAME
This is a very fun game.No offense to anyone, but the person that said that these questions are for five-year-olds is definetely wrong, unless that person is a genious. Most of the questions are NOT very easy.OK, some are kind of simple, but most are pretty hard. There are all kinds of different questions, that some people who are watch football and baseball all day would probably know.I highly reccomend this game. It's a fun way to get smart. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great fun for people 27 to 38
The age range is just an estimate, but I think it's a pretty close guess (I'm 29, my boyfriend is 35).I tried playing the 90's Game with my little brother's friends and didn't do as well. My friends and I love this game and have hours of fun with it. We usually play in teams of two or three people, and we all agree it's more entertaining that way (less pressure on the individual). I would recommend an agreed upon time limit (like 1 or 2 minutes) to answer questions, otherwise the game gets a bit long. Also, the sports questions are very specific, which puts you at a disadvantage if you don't know anything about sports (but gives you an edge if you're a sports buff). In summary, the 80's Game is a totally tubular experience for people who came of age in the 80's.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not as good as I had hoped...
I am definitely a child of the 80's but found this game a bit difficult. We did better when we played it as a team, because the sports questions were way too hard for everyone except the one sports fanatic of the group. It took a very long time to play unless you land on the jump space just right. We ended up changing the rules and it was much more enjoyable, but the questions are quite challenging even if you grew up during the 80's.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game
If you were born between 1965 and 1980, you MUST own this game. The set-up of the game is good, but the questions are great. You will have a blast remembering some of the crazy songs/people/movies of the 80s.Big hair not required. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Good Fun.
We played Mystify at our recent game night with friends and family. Here is the scoop.Mystify is a game based around word and number scrambles. The object of the game is to be the first to solve the word or number scramble. There are 5 different card categories and for each category hints are given as to what the scramble might be. For instance, hints might be - Literary Figure; Popular First Name; Brand Name Product; Popular 70's Movie; Living Creature; Part of a human body, etc.The card reader reads out the letters or numbers (which are scrambled) and players race against each other to solve the scramble.Whoever blurts out the answer first wins the round and is able to advance on the board. The great thing about this game is that everyone plays every round. This keeps all players interested and with a vested interest in paying attention at all times.Since everyone plays at the same time this is a fantastic party game. You really can't go wrong if you want an all inclusive game to play at your game nights!

5-0 out of 5 stars Don't miss this one.
We love word games, but all word games are based around forming words --this game changes all that. The premise of the game is based around solving word scrambles and number scrambles. There is a clue provided with each category so that the players know what direction to look in.I highly recommend this game.

5-0 out of 5 stars I lover racing for the answer!
This is a party game if I ever did see one.Everyone plays every round so nobody is bored waiting for their turn. The board is a simple race track and sometimes we leave the baord at home and play this in the car.All players race to solve the scramble and the categories provide not only different subject areas but varying levels of difficulty. The 'numbers' category is an interesting twist.Good, old fashion fun and a refreshing change to some of the mindless game out there --I recommend it.I love word games and this is one of the best. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Educational but boring
I agree with the previous review that the excitement of this game wears off really quick. After 10 minutes of this game you begin to not care if the answers are fact or crap. And there are a lot of big words on the cards that are difficult for children to read (my 11 year old brother couldn't figure a lot of them out). There are a lot better family games out there than this one.

2-0 out of 5 stars Didn't live up to expectation
The description of the game made me want to have it. After playing it, the novelity wore off quickly. Not much skill to slap down a card and guess. If you play with a number of people the chips run out fast.

The game is called Wit's End, which is just where you mightfind yourself when playing this lively contest of lateral, literal, andlevel-lifting thinking. Players try to reach the summit of the board byanswering questions in four categories such as Odd 1 Out, Teaser,Sequence, or the ever-troubling Wild Card--a nerve-jangling catchallfor trivia, slang, quotations, and time-limited queries. Wit's End istougher than most trivia-based games, and it's deceptive, too. Playersneedn't answer all categories to win, so how tough can it be to move upthe board? Well, for every "Arrange Jaws, The Sting, andStar Wars by release date" there's a "Borneo is to 3, asHispanola is to: 1, 2, 3, or 4?" (And it's got nothing to do withnumber of syllables--we peeked.) If you can name four Europeancountries starting with S (while an opponent counts to 30), canyou do as well with "millimeter is to centimeter, as chain is to: link, decimeter, furlong, or ounce"? There's also an optional "Sorry!"feature that allows you to bounce an opponent down a level for correctanswers to certain questions. Smart and sophisticated, with asoupçon of luck, Wit's End is a game to challenge both greatwits and those only halfway there. --Tony Mason ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars It really isa solid 10Game!
We had a blast playing this game.It was fun....challenging....informative....interesting....and down right entertaining. The great thing about this game is that unlike other Trivia games where if you do not know the answer, you just say "I don't Know", with Wit's End you are given choices to either put in order, eliminate or compare. That way you never say "I don't know" and instead use processes of elimination to come up with the right answer.A great social element about this game is that you are able to promote or demote other players based on right answers to some questions. This evened-out the playing field because everybody kept demoting the know-it-all and promoting the player which was falling behind. The questions cover all areas - pop culture, history, geography, science, sports, etc.The game is a solid 10.

5-0 out of 5 stars A GREAT GAME FOR A SOCIAL GATHERING!
I usually get bored playing games, but playing WIT'S END was anything but boring. If you are interested in Trivia, History, Geography, Sports, Popular Culture.....this game is for you.The questions are uniquely formed around four different types -TEASERS, ODD1OUT, SEQUENCE and WILD CARD.The TEASERS are comparisons and you need to find the correct relationship. The ODD1OUTs are exactly what it says, you need to find the out one out.The SEQUENCE is arranging things in order. The WILD CARD is just that - an anything goes category which keeps you on your toes.We had a great evening playing this game. There is a fun special mechanism in the game where you can promote and demote players for correct answers to certain questions. You really can't go wrong with this game -it is a keeper!

2-0 out of 5 stars Nah, boring, difficult and not fun
I was most disappointed by the ridiculousness of some of the questions and the poor explanations. This is definitely not a trivia game, seems more emphasis is placed on word association, patterns, and other brain teaser-type problems.Really too difficult for children under 14.Not great for older adults either.Try something else, especially if your looking for trivia. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars You wont be disapointed!!!
As a child I use to play 20 questions with my grandparents all of the time.I bought this game for me and my family and wow I was so happy! The questions are great and its better than actually playing without the board game. Its hours of fun and is made so nicely.Would be a great gift or to keep yourself.

5-0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly addictive.
I first played this game at a friends house over New Year's.It was such a delight to play!

The first player draws a card. Each card represents a person, place, thing, or year.At the top of the card is the answer and what category it falls in.The rest of the card contains twenty clues. The next player selects a number between 1 and 20 and marks the board so that no other players will ask for the same clue. The player with the card will read the clue aloud. The player asking for the clue gets one guess. If he/she is wrong, the next player asks for a clue and marks off the board that number.

Play continues around the board until either someone guesses correctly the identity of the card, or all twenty questions are exhausted.Once the card is revealed the correct guesser gets to move ahead as many spaces as the unasked clues. In other words, the few clues you need, the farther you'll move on the board. The person with the card is awarded a number of spaces corresponding to the number of asked questions. So, the more clues revealed, the farther they will move on the board.

Here is an example of a clue card (I'm a thing)... 1. I was invented in 1868. 2. I'm usually found on the rocks. 3. My colors are red and white. 4. I am sometimes associated with narcotics. 5. I'm a classic. 6. What I am made of is a closely guarded secret.

The answer is...

Coca Cola.

This is a marvelously fun and educational game to play.I highly recommend this game. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars family game:chronology
excellent to spend quality time with your family. Very educational game with no conflicts or discussions arising from playing the game

5-0 out of 5 stars Games for the thinking family
I am not normally a game player - board games have always been my downfall.

This is a exception and one that I'm sending to my nieces and nephews. Fast moving, makes you think and interact and perhaps best of all for someone like me who is over 40, let's me get revenge on my kids since video game "twitch skills" don't figure in!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game for the holidays
You needn't be a history buff to play, but it sure can take a smirk off the face of the "smarty pants" in your crowd. My dad did that to my mom and I last Thanksgiving, whipping us two games in a row, and he's not much of a game player, reader, or student of history. It made for a great game for the those of us who know our history, and those of us who don't (i.e., you can get pretty far with an educated guess). ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars not had enought for a real music fan
If your a BIG music fan and already know a lot about music this game will not challange you in the least.I found that I enjoyed playing it but found that it was far to easy for me.If your like me and enjoy a good challenge, this game isn't for you.

4-0 out of 5 stars Lots of Fun For Everyone
I love playing board games.Because my husband is visually impaired, he can't play a lot of the games that we enjoy on a more regular basis. But man is he a music buff.So when I ran across this game, I picked it up, and figured we would all get a kick out of it.

Well, all I can say is "Thank heavens for multiple choice!"They really even out the playing field for those of us without the ear for detail.

While my husband knows much about the bands, the albums, all the rest of it, my sister and I are lucky to remember the lyrics. But, instead of Michael being full steam ahead, we find that we are all on track and the games stay pretty close. For all of us growing up in the 80s and 90s, we enjoy remembering songs and musicians that we grew up with, and learning interesting facts about them!

If we have one complaint, it's that there aren't enough spaces on the board. It doesn't take too terribly long to play, less than 30 minutes, but we just play more games to make up for it.

The game is a lot of fun, kind of like watching "I Love the 80s/90s" on VH1.Enjoy!

5-0 out of 5 stars REMEMBERING THE GOOD TIMES!
We had the pleasure of playing FOR THE RECORD 80's-90's with some family and friends. We played using teams to try to pool our knowledge. The packaging and graphics are very well done.It has a double-necked guitar game path covered with 80's-90's images. You feel like you've gone back in time. The multiple choice format was very helpful as some of our memories aren't what they used to be.One of the teams chose not to use the multiple choice answers on their turns for an extra challenge. The categories are "80's","90's", "Mosh Pit", "You're On Stage" and the toughest ones, "One Hit Wonder" and "Real Name".We had fun because the game requires a mix of luck and skill. The questions range from easy to very difficult, so there was something for everybody. Nobody felt left out!We played three times that night averaging about 45-50 minutes per game (with alot of singing and air guitar thrown in).Our place was rockin' and we can't wait to play again. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME!!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A brainbuster for your smartest kids.
If you want to challenge your brain, buy this game. The questions really made me think! After many holidays of stuffing this head with irrelevant trivia, I'm satisfied that Phoney Baloney offers a better fare. I played this game with a few kids, from 8- to 14-years old, and they were excited by both the game play and the questions.

5-0 out of 5 stars Family game player
We played Phoney Baloney five or six times last week.Once for a party and the other times as a family.Once we didn't even finish the game because we started talking about one of the subjects in the game.We also use the cards as topics for our home schooling. We received our game as a gift, then later gave two as gifts to our friends. The only thing that could be improved is the card holder. It's no big deal and doesn't change the game, but it should be made of plastic instead of card board. The rest is great.

5-0 out of 5 stars A rivalry of knowledge!
Outwit and outsmart your opponents, but not with the right answer. This time, you have to choose the wrong answers. The more answers that you get that are wrong, the more points you get. Confusing, right? Not at all. You get on a roll going as fast as you can to beat your opponents for an intriguing and fun game. Plus, this helps you understand the rule of elimination. So even if you don't know the right answer, you can choose the ones that you know are obviopusly wrong. Or you can just geuss.

Just like you did on your tests at school, right? ... Read more

Editorial Review

Do all of the questions in your original Trivial Pursuit game seem familiar? Are you blurting out the answer before the entire question has been asked? If so, you can rejuvenate your game and bring the challenge back by adding this set of Know-It-All cards (with more than 1,000 new questions) to your favorite Genus edition of Trivial Pursuit. Or you can use the Know-It-All cards, the included dice, and score sheets to play a self-contained game without needing a game board or playing pieces. Perfect for travel. The six question categories are: people and places, arts and entertainment, history, science and nature, sports and leisure, and wild card.--Wendy Slotboom ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Not the same caliber as the original Trivial Pursuit
I don't know if Trivial Pursuit sold the rights to its brand name following the success of the original game or what, but (in my opinion) NONE of the other TP games has ever measured up to the first.

Unlike the original, where well-written questions were often intuitive (if you thought hard enough) or at least very interesting if you didn't know the answer, the questions in this game are poorly phrased (and at times misleading) and BORING!!!

What a shame!

1-0 out of 5 stars can't believe i paid $15 for this
Well I misread the description, and thought I'd be getting 1,000 new cards but was disappointed to see it was only 200.For $15.Double that and you get 5 times as many cards plus a board with Vol. 6.I've about exhausted my cards from Vol. 6, looks like I'll exhaust the know-it-all cards in another two games. What a rip-off.

5-0 out of 5 stars Just wehen you thought you knew it all - - -
A sure fire crowd pleaser! Winning Moves has put together a set of 1,000 questions that can be added to ANY current Trival Pursuit game. The additional cards have new, never before seen questions, and most are very challenging.
For those who like or love Trivial Pursuit, this is neccessary addition to your set. Winning Moves brings together six catagories, including Sports and Leisure, Arts and Entertainment, to provide hours of fun for everyone.

The Questions will range from common knowledge to the obscure, keeping each player involved in the game. While the price is a bit high, the value is still very good for the money.

This game is good for home, office, on the road while traveling and would make a real stocking stuffer at Christmas. Winning Moves also has a Chicago, New York City and New England Editions. Team play will surely liven up playing this game. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars cousinpaco is unbeatable at this game!!!
If the new edition of "Movie Mania" is even close to being as cool as the original, it's a definite 5-star item (hence the fact that I gave it five stars--well, fifteen, actually). I'm thrilled to be the first person to review it!

The game consists of quotes, trivia questions and other stuff that you have to answer to move around the board. Once you succesfully answer a question from each category, you win! Really, there are no losers!

I received the original version as a gift from my chum chatchi, and we had hours of fun playing it. We're quite well-versed in movies, as you can tell by reading some of our other reviews. My only complaint is that the original version had too many questions and quotes from movies that I'd never heard of, including one starring Michael Biehn (I can't remember the title).

So when you need a break from actually watching movies, you can play this game and keep your movie-game-skills sharp. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Great potential, but does not deliver
While most of what the other reviews state is entirely true, they fail to include the fact that the questions are horribly inconsistant. Some seem like desperate attempts to hit some quota derived from marketing folks, as they ask silly things as who owns Crayola or questions obviously from other eras What was Jackie O's maiden name?--she was married in the 50s).Other than that, it's quite fun.I'd prefer 25% fewer questions if they were 100% consistant.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Greatest Decade is Back!!!
I first played this game at my buddy's house over the summer, and after a few questions about Pearl Jam, 90210, MJ, and "Wild" Bill Clinton, I was sold! This game is great to play before you head out or if you have a bunch of friends over and just want to have a great time reliving the glory days of the 90's.The questions are perfect -- not too easy and not too difficult -- so that the game moves at a fun, rapid pace.I'd highly recomend this game to anyone who remembers Jump Around, Melrose Place, Magic Johnson, or Monica Lewinsky. And for those who dont...it's never to late to live the 90's!

5-0 out of 5 stars A Party Favorite
I was introduced to the 90's Game over the weekend, and I can honestly say that I am hooked. The format of the game is absolutely perfect, the questions cover the complete social, political, and business issues that were relevant in the 1990's.The length of the game totally depends on how savy you are on your 90's trivia. For a board game the action can get surprisingly intense, and I would consider this a must buy! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars This game ROCKS!
FULL DISCLOSURE - I am with the company that makes this game.Having said that, I can't for the life of me figure out why it's priced so low here.Makes for an awesome bargain for a lucky few.

FACT: The game was invented more than 20 years ago, but it took an extra long time to get it from the basement to shelf, if you know what I mean.Over all those years, though, we've never tired of playing it.

FACT: If you're a rock and roll fanatic, this one's for you.If you're just the regular music-on-the-radio type, you'll be blown away by the musical memories this game triggers. You'll discover that your head is full of a whole lot more rock and roll trivia than you imagined.

FACT: They won't last long at this price. Get yours and get rockin'!

Not Fade Away, y'all.

5-0 out of 5 stars Almost too much fun!
This game is one of the most fun I have ever played. At first, when I explain it to people who haven't played before, they say things like, "That sounds too easy" but it's not as easy as it seems.

It is tremendous fun.I recommend this game to everyone!I've played 3 times, and every time I have played, I laughed so hard that my stomach muscles were sore for the rest of the night!

The only problem I had was a few repeat cards, and if you shuffle the deck ahead of time, you might not even notice the repeats.

Note that it is not a short game, I don't know exactly how long, but at least an hour. It's great for parties, and game nights. We played it for my sister's bachelorette party, and all the girls loved it. That's not to say that it's a girl game, I have played with guys who loved it too.

It's a great game, and you'll get a lot of great laughs out of it.When the night is over, you'll feel wonderful!

5-0 out of 5 stars Time is never up for Time's Up
This game is amazing.College students, this is where it's at!So much fun and there's no stopping the insanity!!I would reccomend this game to everyone, it's great for parties, entertaining, sitting around with friends, whatever.Totally amazing!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great party game
I bought this game to take on a trip we were taking with another couple. At night people would congregate around the outdoor bar. We got several people to play and we had so much fun! From that night on while we were there people would gather at the bar to play Times Up. It's a great game and good for alot of laughs! I do think it is an adult game as by the 3rd round the gestures can get a little obscene for kids! ... Read more
