This boat is fast!Wasn't sure so bought this with a Wave Buster,The Wave Breaker runs circles around the Buster.

Most fun toy......good range and battery life.Water intrusion is minimal, as soon as you turn it on the bilge pump starts running, did not see any water pump out.

We dry our boats after each use. This was our third boat.

I almost always fall in the pit and get eaten.Sometimes I knock off the head, but it is hard to.My little sister likes to play with it too. I don't like all the noise it makes, but it is very fun to play.I only paid about $15 for it and it was worth it.

4-0 out of 5 stars its aot of fun
we bought this toy 2 months ago for my 4 year old son, granted we dont read instructions anyhow so we didnt have a problem with them, but i did put the arm on the wrong side and didnt figure that out till i read the instructions---so they were helpful to me. i got the arm out put it on the right side and then i was done. my 4 year old son couldnt hit the monster so his head would fall off so we readjusted the heigth of the jump and he did it, not only did he do it but our 1 yr 16 months old son could do it too. my kids love it, and see who can get the head to fly off the most. they also use their hotwheels cars on it. i guess for most toys you have to know how to play with them and keep trying and you will get it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not Bad for 4 year olds
We initially were not going to purchase this since it had gotten two bad reviews....but my four year old son has been obsessed with monster trucks for awhile and insisted on buying this.Anyway...yes, the instructions can be confusing but all in all our son played with it all day long.He loved getting his other Hot wheels Monster trucks and trying them on the track (they also work). He really got into setting up a HOt Wheels Monster truck challenge and was able to win against the Crusher. If your son LOVES Monster Trucks he will probably enjoy this toy. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars repitch
I bought this for my 13 yr old grandson, but it was slow enough for my 3 yr old grandaughter, so i took the boat and flipped it over did a modification to the pitch on the propeller .... now it zooms across our pond at a reasonable speed. the rudder control is very weak but it works... battery life wasnt affected by pitch change... still a good first R/C boat for learners

4-0 out of 5 stars Good starter boat -- good value
This is our family's second RC boat -- this one is faster and is the kids' favorite. The motor seems pretty powerful and it is a fairly fast boat, yet not too fast that my 7 year old daughter can't control it. It turns responsively and accurately and even looks good as it's cruising along.

It has a water tight battery compartment that is easy to open and close although the re-chargeable battery pack is a tight squeeze in the compartment and a little difficult to remove. It also has two ports to drain any water that may have leaked into the hull -- so far, we haven't taken on any water though.

The only disappointment is that the rechargeable battery pack is not included, which means another purchase is necessary for the battery and charger. However, we had two other 9.6 volt ni-cad batteries from RC Trucks that we use with this so we didn't have to buy any batteries. I chose this boat over the less expensive models that only used regular alkaline batteries since it's more convenient and probably cheaper in the long run to just use the rechargeable battery packs.

I'd recommend this one as a good quality, somewhat inexpensive RC boat --especially if you already have the battery pack.

1-0 out of 5 stars Not for Adults

3-0 out of 5 stars Fun for a little while
My son lost his plane in a bean field as well. His dad thought he saw where it landed, but after many trips by all the relatives looking for it, we gave up until the field was combined. Luckily the farmer in the combine spotted it, about 300 feet out in the field...about 200 feet farther than we were looking. The bad news is, after we got it back, the pump cracked on the first time the kids decided to play with it again. Hence, this is a fun, but short lived toy.

4-0 out of 5 stars We'll find it after harvest
This plane is amazing. We were getting well over the 300 ft. advertised distance per flight.Flight control is a crap shoot. You have no idea where it's going to land. The control surfaces were laughable. You should have planty of room to fly, preferably standing in the middle of a 400 ft. radius treeless circle. On the first day of flight, the aircraft made it to the bean field.10 volunteers and 2 hours later, the search was called off (and we "saw" where it came down).Black is not the ideal color for this toy.Perhaps dayglo orange or some color that beeps would be a better idea.I'll look for wreckage after the combine does its thing this week.

4-0 out of 5 stars Long range flyer

4-0 out of 5 stars The ford gt
It was awesome and all but the wheels wore down really fast and it has no grip. You can rarely go without burning out. It only lasts 5-7 minutes. I would rate it to be fun but you need to take a lot of care for it. Rocks also get into the interior of the plastic. I would rather drive an off-road car but if you are getting this toy you might want to buy another battery for longer play time and more tires.

5-0 out of 5 stars Speedster
I love this car ever since I got it I have been driving it every single day. This is the best car I have ever had!

5-0 out of 5 stars Very fast and very fun
Let me start out by saying this car has very good handling; the tires are fairly durable and give the car good grip. The steering is very nice, I have never had a car with proportional steering before, and I must say it is a lot more fun driving a car with proportional steering than it is driving one with out. It is very fast, it goes 20 m.p.h. with out any motor upgrades; it is so fast I could follow a car up the street. It accelerates very fast, probably 0 to 20 in 3.5 seconds. It goes 200 m.p.h. scale speed because it's 1/10 scale. It's so fast you might think it would be hard to control, but it isn't really hard to control unless your going 20 m.p.h. The body is made out of a light weight material, and clips onto the body by 4 clips, it also comes with 4 spare clips. The car doesn't come with all the stickers on, so you have to put some of the stickers on your self, it took me an hour, but that's only because I'm slow. It comes with a little tool to get the wheels off which is handy. The controller is comfortable and, one thing I would like to note is I thought the contoller was powered by double A's, but it is powered by a 9 volt battery. It has kind of low ground clearance so you would probably want to look out for bumps and stuff. This car has real suspension, and the suspension is more usefull than most car's suspension because it isn't so stiff that it doesn't do any good. One thing that's cool is you can see the back end of the car go down you accelerate really fast. over all this car is durable fast, and this car is actually better than my expectations unlike most cars.
Pros
-very fast
-ver good handling
-very good acceleration

5-0 out of 5 stars This toy Rocks
This toy blows all the other subs out of the water, when i first got it for my birthday i put the batteries in and bam it already worked. Although it needs to be charged for 2 hours it is real fun to drive around the pool, aquarium, or pond. WARNING (do not user in salt water!)

4-0 out of 5 stars the next ROUV
THis is a very good RC sub. i have used it in my aquarium where it manuevers freely in the small environment. the only problem is that it is hard to manuver it in moving water such as a pool.

5-0 out of 5 stars This is great!
I got this submarine for Christmas and I was so excited about it. I drove it around in the bathtub with the lights in the bathroom off and the little submarine lit up the whole bathtub! This isn't a very fast sub, but it is still really fun! If you have a pool this would be a great toy because of how far down it can go and still be in range of the transmitter. I have had no problems with this sub and it is just so fun to relax and control a little sub around in my fishtank with all the lights off. The submarine is very manuaverable and responsive to the transmitter. You only have to charge the submarine for 2 hours instead of most RC toys having to be charged for 4 hours. Megatech says it only gets 15 minutes of battery life but it really has a battery life of about 25 minutes. The one thing that is less than desirable is that when the submarine gets old and will not hold a charge anymore, you can't just buy a new battery because the battery is inside the Sub. For this reason do not overcharge it. But otherwise this is very fun and I would definitly recommend it. ... Read more

This sprawling and expansive play set will likely delight any kid interested in transportation. There are 65 pieces in all including trains, forklifts, ships, tugboats, and trucks, along with big buildings, cranes, and bridges. Use the hand cranks to unload cargo from the vehicles with a winch that attaches to the cargo with magnets. We were impressed by the amount of track offered, allowing kids (and probably Mom or Dad too) to lay out endless varieties of configurations. And it's all pretty low-tech, which means fewer flashing lights and ornate special effects but also an endearing simplicity and a mercifully battery-free existence. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

The sporty, convenient, and efficient Mini Cooper car has gained a reputation for its friendly design and versatility. Those same elements now transfer to the realm of toys thanks to this clever two-cars-in-one set. Out of the box, it's a standard large model of a big red Mini, fully functional with rolling wheels and realistic detailing. But the larger car can be opened up to reveal a whole network of tiny racetracks, featuring two different levels of play. The lower track allows one car at a time to practice for the big race while the upper track facilitates the two included cars (one red, one blue) in a race. The cars can be moved into place by use of a magnetic lift. The track is probably wide enough to fit many but not all Matchbox-style cars. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars disappointed little boy
We bought this train set despite some misgivings after reading the other reviews. Boy, do we regret it. The train ran for about 10 minutes before the wheels popped out of it's base. For the other 9 1/2 minutes we were constantly putting the train on the track. If it was not going absolutely straight it would fall off. We finally settled for only the engine because we could NOT get the freight cars to stay on. What fun is just an engine? After telling our son that the train must have been banged up in Santa's sleigh we returned the train to Amazon(without any problem). Then we went to a real train hobby store. We told our son that Santa gave mommy and daddy money for a new train. The owner of the train store could not believe we bought a HO scale for a 7 year old. He suggested O scale and either an American Flyer or Lionel. We bought an American Flyer freight train in O scale. This thing is so solid it could go through a hurricane. Or three little boys. At 220 dollars it was a whole lot more money but well worth saving up for. The set is so easy to put on the track that even the 4 year old can manage it. The engine and freight cars have some real weight to them and are very well built with terrific details. Not even a comparison to the power charger. Like comparing glass to a diamond.

4-0 out of 5 stars the best train
this train is ok other than its stability. i think it would only suit people who really like trains etc.

5-0 out of 5 stars Can Be Sold Less Exspensive
Lifelike Trains are good sturdy trains (...). I bought a Lifelike train set for 9 bucks at my local Albertsons. The tracks are great as long as they're on a flat surface. The engines that come with each set are rather unstable but the best thing about train sets all together is that you can always add on and on. So I recommend buying another engine (...). Oh, and after time buy a new transformer.

In the model railroad world you get what you pay for and it varies on how serious you are or it's something to keep the kids entertained.

To make a long story short. These trains are best for starting out but the prices can be brought down a bit. ... Read more

This case is a good first case for your little one. However, it's not very tough so it can be damaged very easily. And by ALL means, be sure to keep those removable trays inside the box.My husband stepped on one and punctured his foot!It holds 24 cars but the slots are different sizes for the different cars which is nice too.The sides are split already on ours and we've had it for only 7 months. It doesn't keep the cars from moving around once it is picked up and they completely are messed up and need reorganized if it is moved via the handle. ... What good is owning a whole fleet of die cast racing vehicles if they end up sprawled across a bedroom floor or buried in the bottom of a toy box? This clever toy within a toy system features 18 racecars of varying shapes and sizes as well as a sizable truck to tote them around with. The truck, which wheels about quite nicely on its own, has 18 individual clear plastic compartments, each of which could probably also hold most Hot Wheels or Matchbox cars. The smaller cars rolled about the tabletop quite capably during our informal test and we liked the idea of a convenient storage system that can join in the fun and excitement of pretend play. --Charlie Williams ... The beauty of this radio-controlled vehicle is that you assemble it yourself with snap-together pieces. The vehicle can be assembled in any number of different ways, including a dune buggy shape and a scorpion. The great thing about this is that, since you need to build it before you can play, it engages your child actively in the process. This is not the "Here I am now, entertain me" experience that you find with most toys. In the course of assembling the car, you (or your kid) will learn the rudiments of how a steering system works, since no matter how creative you want to get with the rest of the vehicle, the steering has to be hooked up properly for the thing to work. This dragster comes in two frequencies, 27 MHz and 49 MHz, so if you want to get two and race them, you can do so without the signals conflicting. Requires one 9-volt battery and eight AAs (also compatible with a 9.6-volt rechargeable battery system). --David Stoesz ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars This car is a rip off.
This car is a waste of money. I built it the first day I got it and I thought it was pretty cool at first but it kept on breaking. It cant turn at all. It also only uses one wheel to drive and has the two fake on it to stabalize it. This means it wobbles a lot. It also doesn't run very well on carpet. Actually, it doesn't really run on any surface that good. Out of all the rc cars I have bought(to many to count)this is the worst of all. Please don't buy this. It is a rip off. It is horrible.

This knex dragster was really fun. Though it's not very durable. The pieces don't hold together well. Other than that it's fun to control and drive.
P.S.(it doesn't have good distance either) ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Cool, fast, fun, durable
I recently purchased the Nikko Viper GTS-R and was fairly pleased with it. I have several other Nikko R/C products and they continue to please me. Here is a general description of the car.
A red, new model Viper body made of Lexan plastic with silver racing stripes and plenty of decals. The body is 18 inches long and is vacuum formed with an attached functional-looking spoiler and transparent windshield and windows. The body is secured to the chassis by 4 easily removable pins. The car runs on a 7.2-volt NiCAD battery pack that charges in 3-4 hours and can reach speeds up to 20 mph on swept, unbroken pavement. It has white, 5-spoke plastic wheels secured Formula-One style with a single nut and comes with a tool to easily remove them (I personally didn't like the color of the wheels so I re-painted them with some model paint). The tires are soft rubber with foam underneath to provide good traction with out a need to inflate. The chassis is complete with a large, sturdy bumper concealed by the body; a diffuser in the rear; and 4 wheel, independent wishbone suspension complete with springs, shocks, and sway bar. The Mabuchi motor is easily removed for replacement or upgrades and has an interchangeable crystal to change the radio frequency for racing with other cars. All of the components are covered by sturdy plastic making up the chassis.
The car comes mostly assembled and is ready to drive in minutes (minus battery charge time). It has a range of about 100-150 feet, depending on the location, weather conditions, other frequencies, etc. The car has plenty of torque and will do donuts, burnouts, peelouts and all of that good stuff with ease on smooth surfaces like hardwood floors, tile, SMOOOOOOOTH concrete, and sometimes carpet. I do not recommend running the car on long carpet, nothing more than a centimeter really; although it can handle it, it will tend to get a lot of carpet fibers in the axles and you might have to take the rear wheels off to get it out (along with dog/cat hair). This isn't a serious problem, as it doesn't happen very much and is easy to clean out. I have run the car on pretty much all surfaces, including grass, light gravel, mulch, etc. and it does pretty well. I mostly drive it on the street, but it is important to not turn it to sharply at high speeds or it might flip. I have heard some people say that they crashed it and the steering messed up, but they must have driven it headlong into a brick wall at 15 to 20 mph to hurt it, because I have had a fair share of crashes and it works like new. One thing to watch out for is driving it up curbs. You must take it slowly and at an angle or you will grind down the plastic of the body on the pavement. I have a few complaints however. I do not really like the controller format. It works fine, but I would prefer the rectangular type of layout. Also, the steering trim isn't very accurate. The car tends to very slightly veer one direction, so you change the trim to compensate, and it might go straight, but it also might start veering slightly in the other direction. Nothing that serious, but it sometimes gets hard to control at high speeds.
Pros and Cons:
Pros
*Fairly fast. Faster than all of the other Nikko, Tyco, etc. cars anyway.
*Looks good. Viper body very stylish and comes with plenty of stickers, though some need to be cut out. (You might notice that the back bumper goes down fairly far and looks awkward, but that is actually supposed to be cut off from the body with scissors. They just didn't do it for the pictures)
*Durable. Nothing has broken on mine yet. Has a lexan body (what the high end r/c cars use)
*Suspension and digitally proportional speed/steering make a realistic drive

Cons:
*A little touchy at high speeds, but that is to be expected
*Trim controls inaccurate
*Long charge times. 3-4 hours for complete charge

Overall, this is a pretty good car. I don't recommend it for racing at professional r/c tracks, as it isn't the fastest thing out there. One thing to note is the NiCD (Nickel Cadmium) battery. It is STRONGLY recommended that you run it down till there is absolutely no power left before recharging, and do not charge it partially or over charge it. These habits will shorten the life of a NiCD battery. Strangely enough, none of these things are written in the manual. Oh well. Now you know.
In the end, this car is merely a toy. It goes 20 miles per hour. The fastest electrics go 40. The nitro's go 30-60. The kind you can get at hobby shops that run on gasoline go 80. It isn't the fastest car around, although I suppose it is sort of the beginner level of the advanced cars. Don't get this for anyone who doesn't have fairly good skills with R/C cars. I mean it. If you give this to a 9 year old, he will probably either flip it, crash it into a wall, or get it run over by a car. Something to consider. Anyway, I hope this has helped.Happy shopping

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Car
This car is really fast and durable. It runs about 30 minutes on a full charge. It easily goes 20 mph. My dad and brothers have crashed it at full speed and it still runs perfectly. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars mini robosapien
My 8 year old son bought the mini robosapien and asked me to transcribe his review. So in his words this is what he thinks of the mini-robosapien...

The mini robosapien does not have a remote control, but it is still fun to play with. It's eyes light up and it can walk. The hands and arms move by pressing buttons on the robots back. The grippers really work and can hold different things. I really like this toy and think you should try one out.

2-0 out of 5 stars umm ok
