Excellent value
Just got back from a train show and the going price for something like this would be 65.00 or more. It is not a Lionel or a Bachmann, but it is HO scale and any HO track will work, along with any HO train. I liked the snap-lock track locks. It is a great feature that really keeps the reack together until you want to take the track apart. I ended up breaking the lock tab off 2 tracks trying to get the lock off. It has absolutely no impact on the functionality of the track, but it was hard for me to imagine an 8 year old trying the same procedure. Durability got a 3 staronly for the fact that it does have some small parts, like the couplers that tend to break, but it does come with 2 spares. The wires that connect the track to the power pack should have spade connectors on the end to easily attach under the set screws, not just a bare wire. The spring connects on the power track are fine for the bare wire. On a very side note, I found that a Bachmann locomotive from a far more expensive set ran backwards on this track, opposite from the direction of the engine that came with the set. Im not a train hobbiest, but that seemed a little weird. You could not couple the two together and run them in the same direction. I dont know, maybe something real simple. All in all a great value.

Need more accessories
This train set is a great beginners set for my 7 year old grandson, but Toys R Us did not have any additional track, and atatempting to locate the track online was difficult at best.Toys R Us needs to stock additional track for the Life-Like train sets so that prents/grandparents can have more than a 38" circle for the kids with only one stop at the store.

If you have a computer at home then you can go to the Life Like web site.www.lifelikeproducts.com.If you want more track, you go on the web site.Or just buy the expander set, buy it on this web site though, it is cheeper here.The track gets delivered by UPS or Fed Ex to your door.I have had this train set for more than a month now, and it shows no signs of breaking.I have it in the box because I want to save the train set, so when I am older I can play around with it when I am older.I also lost my interest in trains again.Thank you for reading my review.It isn't very eudicational though.It just shows how a real; train actually works.

"fast lane" 9.6V battery pack and car
Although this is the best rc car I've ever owned, the batterpack still seems to wear down over time ( a pretty short period of time).I do follow all directions in the manuel, like using it up completely before recharging, giving it ten minutes to cool down, and not over or under charging it.

Broke 1st time used
The first time my son played with this it broke.There is a plastic screw with a piece of plastic attached to it(all one piece) that holds the battery in. The piece of plastic broke off the screw and theres no way of fixing it or ordering a replacement part. Made very cheaply.

Be gentle!!!!
Well this really is a nice truck ... The only problem I have with it is that I had to return it already because the gears are week and keep making a clicking noise. I think it is because the trucks torque is to high for the gears. Also in the two trucks I have had, There were no instructions or waranty cards in the package so I will assume they do not supply an owners manual with it.. I also tried looking if there were directions on the toys R us website but was unsuccesfull...This will be a good truck if your son or daughter are very gentle with there toys if not I do not recomend. It Broke! Dang truck
I ordered this reaaaaal sweet yellow truck for my bouncin' baby boy billy, one for hime and one for me...

11 year-old addict
I have to say that these were originaly made by Tomy in Japan. Now on to the review. As the first 1/64th scale cars these are the best R/C's you can get. They are highly upgradeable, from motors, to painting, to mods found on the internet that will void the warranty (those are the best kind I might add).I would say they are very durable, because they can go through alot. Of course you can't step on them or anything like that .They get a 5 in educational value because with the upgrades you can make yourself ( which will void the warranty), you learn alot about electronics. Fun because these can drive on alot of surfaces, are compact, and you can race your friend!(if you have different frequecies of course)Overall.... You are getting sleepy,very sleepy... Now go buy one these... hahahahahahahaha!

most durable toy
I call it a the most durable toy because I threw it down the stairs which is like 17 feet. This R/C toy is slow if you just push the button up but if u press Turbo it is fast.It first i thought how could a small thing likebfast.And it was worth tha money

Drive the 2002 Winston Cup champion's car
It's so great to see the NASCAR market these days. When Racing champions released a 1:64 rc car it only went straight and turned in reverse, I never thought I'd see the day when cars of this size can turn left, right, reverse, and forward. Doesn't work after 1st use
I was skeptical after reading the review that this toy doesn't work after its first use and thought that the others just didn't clean it correctly after its first use. However, after cleaning this toy EXACTLY as stated in the directions, the toy failed to work after storage.THIS IS A TERRIBLE TOY.

Very dissapointed
I am surprised there are not more bad reviews here for this toy!
This toy looked like a lot of fun, and since my son loves to mix stuff up, I thought this would be a great toy! Turns out, that is about all you can do with it is mix. Once you mix up the fuel and pour it in, It is pretty much so a wait and wait and wait kind of thing. What are we waiting for, was the question. The directions were very complicated. It started out with taking an hour to try to get it out of the box, then had to rip the box finally to open it up. Then put a total of 4 AA batterys in. That was the easy part. The directions took up our entire table, so we had to set the toy on the floor and go back and forth from the floor to the table to work on it.
Finally after all our hard work, because that is what it was, the motorcycle didn't work at all! We replaced the batteries 3 times with brand new ones to make sure it wasn't the batterys.
The lab worked. Oh boy did it ever. It leaked this messy fluid all over the floor. WE ended up having to put a towel folded under it while it was mixing and draining. So, even tho the motorcycle didn't come on, we went ahead and set it up so our little boy wouldn't be too dissapointed, and what did it do? It sat there! It didn't do a thing!

This was a waste of money and unless you like a full blown migraine, I would not reccommend this toy to anyone.

Fed Up With Toys that Break
This was the only toy my 5 year old asked for.He was very excited to get this for Christmas.
We filled the 2 chambers with "fuel" and pushed the lever so it would pump into the main chamber.It worked fine the first time.We tried to use it again a second time and the pump failed to work.The liquid started to drip out the bottom of the chamber. What a dissapointment! The motorcycle itself works great.Don't waste your money buying the lab, you can purchase the motorcycle by itself. Can't anyone make a toy that doesn't break? ... Read more

Fun toy but easily breakable
My 5 year-old son received this car for Christmas.It was the hit of the day, but the doors popped off instantly.The directions say that they are supposed to snap back into place, but no amount of pressure or pleading will get the doors to go back to their original state.I even tried superglue, but to no avail.It's still a fun toy and does almost everything it was meant to do, but the doors are easily breakable.

Regenerator Mini
I just received two regenerator mini's for my boys and they look really cool. They have yet to use it since it is going to be an x-mas present, however, I have since found out I will have to return one because I bought two 48 mhz cars instead of one 27 mhz and one 48 mhz.Evidently the two will not work together in the same room because the frequencies are the same.Amazon did a poor job explaining the differences between the two cars.I only found out about the difference after brousing Wal-Mart's website.They had a much more detailed explanation of the product. misguided information
I bought this toy for my son. When I read everything about it there was not one thing about having to buy a rechargeble battery pack for it. That costs 29$. This is a very expensive toy as it is. I was disappointed when I recieved it in the mail and learned that the toy did not come with it. I am very upset and feel mislead. I am debating on whether or not to send it back. Please make sure that you educate your customers on all that is required to run the toys.

Raphael is known as the hothead member of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which is quite a distinction given that turtles are reptiles and therefore cold-blooded. Nonetheless, he looks ready for action in this entertaining action figure version. Raph is equipped with his twin "sais" as well as a dagger and wears his trademark red mask and impassioned sneer. Bend him backwards and a spring-based mechanism will wind him up for an impressive and consistent forward flip. Evidently, Raph has also been incarcerated but has little trouble blasting through the included breakaway prison door. Flipping our for Raph!
My 3 year old stepson received Raph along with Leo for Christmas and he absolutely loves them!Just press down and Raph does and instant flip!The only problem we have had with Raph though is that he doesn't seem to want to land on his feet.Although I don't think the 3 year old has noticed at all!It hasn't stopped him from playing with it!He loves pushing them both down and making them flip into each other, kind of as if they were jumping into the air and crashing into each other.Great toy for a TMNT fan! ...
