5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome
I played this game after "Sim's Bustin' Out" which I also loved, because they are a lot alike. This one is just cooler, and has better graphics and a great plot. The original Sim's games have been updated in these to make goal oriented game play, so it's much more interesting. It's really fun, they've come up with a great little game here, one that I am sorry I have won, because I miss it. Now, the manufacturer's review (above) does not seem to correspond with the GBA version, as I don't remember anything about fireworks, or sushi bars, those jobs are not in this game, or perhaps this version, so that's a little misleading, but this game is nonetheless so much fun. I loved it. At first I found it hard in the game to make money, then after taking "classes" at the University I built up the creativity level, then made a ton of money painting and carving wood then selling the art at the local thrift store. If you like graphic adventures, this is a game for you. I think the creators could make so many more Sim's games like this and I'd play every one, if they stick to what's working here.

4-0 out of 5 stars This is the Best ONe yet!

4-0 out of 5 stars Not great but certainly worth the price tag
First off for the record i can't get enough of Poker, and this game for the most part is exactly what i wanted in a PS2 game. I don't plan on playing this online (lets face it there are alot of better online options then any console game could ever deliver) but as an at home single player game it's certainly a solid game.

The game does have a couple problems which keeps it from a better score though. Most importantly the computer controlled characters can be a little predictable (very few real players check as often as the A.I. does in the game) and i wish there were alot more options for types of games such as five card draw.

However despite those problems there is much to like such as the huge 60-100 person tournaments and the ability to track your long term success and build a bankroll.

A great practice tool for the beginner or the more experienced player and a nice relaxing change of pace from alot of the other games i enjoy playing.

If you love poker how can you really go wrong for $20?

1-0 out of 5 stars A Waste of Money!!!!!!
This game is a great How to Play learning guide because of the variety of Poker Games available but let's face it. Everybody is playing hold em these days. The offline play is horrible on it's most difficult setting. The play of the AI will never make since. The only place to have fun with this game is online and that has continued to do nonthing but get worse. I've completely stop playing this game there are just too many other free options that move alot quicker and it's easier to get games started. Setting up a game or finding a game to play in is by far the most difficult task and I'm almost never successful setting up one online, I'm always joining someone else game and sit & go's are never available. This game has a ton of potential should they choose to make another version for next it could be great. Possibly ad some multiple table options made be just what they need to do make hosting and joining games easier. They need to look at their internet competition and beat them. Online is where it's at for real gamers of any sort and this games online interface is horrible. Not to mention win you bust a player an a high limit the player simply shut's off his machine as not to lose the money he's played on choosing to record his positive earnings. There's no way to make people play the game the right or sort the good player from the bad player by virtue of their bank roll. Ex. You start a game with $100,000 and lose it, just turn off the game reload your character and bame theirs your money. This pronblem wrecks the gameplay not to mention what happens when that person is the host if the server doesn't migrate correctly then the entire game is fragged.

This review: was inspired by a review written on gamespot where the writer praised the online play. I was so appauled that I had to write a response everywhere I thought it counted. While you can find a game online with WCP alot of the time you are playing somene else's.

4-0 out of 5 stars Solid Game - If you like Poker
If you like Poker and the different variations then you will most likely enjoy this game. The customization of your character is pretty detailed and a nice touch.Other reviews have stated the game is too slow, I have not found this to be true.I would say the pacing is just about right.By tapping the X button you can move things along if you are out of a hand. Sit and Go games and tournaments are fun.Only gripe I could come up with(this is a amatuer level) is that computer player checks too much, keeping me in hands longer than I should if I am fishing for a card.A raise might have forced me out.Maybe at the pro level it is more agressive. Do not play online but I can guess it would be fun, but if just playing at home I still recommend. If you are trying to satisfy your poker jones this is a good start. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The older DK with better graphics
This game is really fun with good graphics. It is like the older one but with more stuff and different story line. Instead of saving Peach you save these Mini Mario Toys from Donkey Kong. The levels are challenging for people who aren't hard core gamers. Gamers might think it to easy. I'm enbetween and I enjoy playing it.

3-0 out of 5 stars It was nice... I guess
Mario vs. Donkey Kong is a nice game, nothing really special. I've played better Mario games in the past. The game play was okay and the game itself gets boring after a while. I don't own the game myself (I've only played it from my older brother). But, I wouldn't really recommend it if you're really looking for one of those pick up and play games.

4-0 out of 5 stars Has its flaws but deffinitly worth it
As a former Sonic the Hedgehog fanatic growing up on these games I went out first thing to get this for Xbox when I found out about it. Overall, I am not disappointed. I do have several, small complaints.

The first would be the hidden games. It was kind of annoying to have to sit there and open/close each game somewhere around 20 to 30 times each to unlock the hidden games. Now I don't really care for Ooze or Comix Zone, and I don't even think Ristar should be included as its a Sonic collection, and many Sonic games were omitted from this collection in favor of these other Sega games. However, it was frustrating to have to unlock Sonic 3 & knuckles, which is basically the only way to play sonic 3 OR sonic and knuckles (at least ever since they've both been out.)

The other main problem I have with it, which I've already touched on a bit, is that some of the sonic games are missing. Now I'll admit that I'm a little bit of a completionist, but even then, would it have hurt to add Sonic CD, Sonic Triple Trouble, or even some of the offshoot games with Sonic characters like Knuckles Chaotix, etc. I mean honestly, don't tell me there wasn't space for the extra games when they can manage to fit a monument to video gaming like Halo on a single disc.

Sonic CD and Triple Trouble especially would be important since they introduce important characters that have been used in games and the comics since. Amy has been used extensively in more recent sonic adventure and sonic advance games and mecha sonic was an important character in the comics. Nack didn't get a lot of development as a character but it could have been a great start, and even though it wasn't, Triple Trouble was still probably the least shallow game gear sonic game, as well as the most playable. From what I've seen, Sega has also started re-using the characters from Chaotix. These are all solid Sonic games that should have been included, instead of two versions of spinball/mean bean machine, etc. Also, on a final note, Sonic Drift was a piece of crap. However, Sonic Drift 2 made a lot of improvements on the idea. I haven't the slightest idea why they included the first one instead of the second one

Overall, I was glad to add this game to my collection. Don't let my criticisms deter you from buying it because it's a good purchase (and for so little money I feel like I'm practically STEALING.) It's just that as a huge Sonic the Hedgehog fanatic growing up, I feel Sega could have gone the whole way with very little to no extra effort. Maybe I have a sonic mega collection plus 2 to look forward to on a future system.

4-0 out of 5 stars How can you not love this?
Its great to see this out on all of the major consoles, I fell bad for the Game Cube owners that don't get to play the Game Gear games that are on the Xbox and PS2 versions. If you grew up in "Nintendo" generation like I did this a definite must have, if only to take you back to simpler times when systems only had a d-pad and 2 or 3 buttons, and we couldn't save our games. You little kids don't have any idea how good you have it with your built in hard drives, memory cards and photo realistic graphics. This has all the great Sonic games you remember from the past and some of the not so good ones too.Really only Sonic 3d Blast, it was definitely a cool idea in its day, but I dare you to play that game and not get an upset stomach. The controls are well adapted to the Xbox; you can use the analog stick, although it just doesn't fell right if you played these on the Genesis. The graphics and sound are just as you will remember and the ability to save your progress makes it worth every penny. All said and done this is a must have for any one who has been playing video games for the past decade or more, and might even be enough to keep the younger ones entertained for a while.

5-0 out of 5 stars This game is great!
If you loved the old soinc games you will love this! The older sonic games are better than the the newer ones like sonic heros!

4-0 out of 5 stars Yet another good review
With all the other good reviews about this game who needs another. But I just felt like writing this one. First the game this off da chain but not that much better. First if you master Tony Hawk then the only thing to worry about this the racing which I consider a flaw. To think I do all the ramp stuff first and when a race comes up I think "Oh God no." Next is the longivity which is often a game's weakness. If the challege does not keep you playing the fun will. So what is the problem it enough levels especially for RPG fans who love long games. I would have given it 5 stars but for the would have to be perfect and it is not but it does come close.

5-0 out of 5 stars AWESOME GAME
This is one of the greatest video games on the market today.SSX 3 will keep you entertained for hours and you will not be able to stop playing. One of the best things about this game is that it never gets old.You can play for a very, very long time and still not complete the whole game. There is so much fun jam-packed in this game that you may never complete it.SSX 3 is very challenging, but not too challenging that it is impossible to beat.

The conquer the mountain feature in this game is absolutely perfect. There is so much in it, and it has a great storyline. It can go on forever, and you will never tire of playing it. Trust me, if you enjoy competition and racing, this is the game for you.

The graphics in this game are also one of a kind. They look so realistic that if you weren't playing, you would really think a real snowboard competition is going on.It is great, and very refreshing to finally have a fantastic snowboarding game that is worth playing, and watching.

Another great feature is the tricks each player has the ability to do.Even though the multi-flips, grabs, and sideway spins may not exactly look completely real, they are so much fun to perform and watch. There are many tricks to do, and as you go on, you will always find more and more to come up with.

SSX 3 is without a doubt the best snowboarding game out there. At a price of 20 dollars, it is defintely worth the money and you will be glad you made the purchase.

4-0 out of 5 stars A good game
Ssx3 is an absolute must-have for any, maybe all, fans of sports games. Though the character selection is a lot smaller than the previous game, it doesn't let you down. It includes:

Zoe
Moby
Psymon
Griff (new guy! he's a twelve-year-old. kinda interesting..)
Viggo(new! another cool character)
Elise
Nate(another new guy! pretty cool..)
Mac
Allegra(new! Even though her name resembles that of an allergy medication, she's great!)
Kaori

The gameplay is set on a mountain with 3 peaks (peak 1 being the easiest and peak 3 the hardest). The single mode in which you earn money, buy stuff, and unlock peaks and places is "Conquer the Mountain" mode. The Single Event is the normal one-player mode, and the Multi-play mode is the two-player mode. In Conquer the Mountain, you can do the race, slopestyle, and freestyle modes.

The accessories for characters are amazing (ex: flaming head)! When you play this game, it can get you addicted but eventually bored, which is the only thing I have against it! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Amazingly Fun after All These Years
Did you used to play with your Atari set for hours and hours? How about the classic arcade games like Battlezone and Crystal Castles? They're all in this collection!

This is just an AMAZING deal - you get over 80 complete, original games in the pack. I am in my 30s and haven't played many of these games since I was a teenager. Yet when I jumped into the Adventure game, I immediately knew all the maps, where to find the keys, were the dragons would be lurking. Playing Yar's Revenge, I became hooked for quite a while, remembering all the techniques to win the game. Somehow my brain has been hard wired to remember these things, and it's really cool to go back to a game now and say "Wow, I had TONS of fun with that!"

There are even full scans of the manuals, so you can read each manual from cover to cover if you wish.

In addition to all the Atari console games, you also get the original arcade games like Battlezone. I was a HUGE battlezone fan, driving my tank around and seeking out the enemy. It is so much fun to be able to play it at home!

It is just astounding that they fit all these games onto one CD. I used to scrimp and save for weeks to get just one cartridge! I would have thought it was a miracle back then to be handed 80 of them in a box and told "here, have fun". I would have played for years on end.

Sure, the graphics are old-style. You get blocks of color without much detail. Even on a big screen TV, it's sometimes hard to figure out what the maps are telling you. But that is part of the charm, of course. Lunar Lander is just as much fun now as it was then. Hangman doesn't need good graphics, nor does chess. Those mind games are a challenge no matter what they look like.

I really don't see a downside here. You pay one price for that CD and you literally could play for years. Each game is complete. There are games for every age group, for every gamer type. It really does prove that in the end, a great game isn't about sound or graphics. It's all about the design.

A must buy!

4-0 out of 5 stars Worth it alone for the arcade ports
I bought this primarily for the real arcade ports. I have had a look at the 2600+ games and there's as awful as I remember them. So that portion, whilst extensive, is only there for a nostalgia kick or if you absolutely have an old 2600 game you loved. The arcade parts are great though. My friend owns a real Asteroids machine and so I know how spot on the arcade version of Asteroids is. Plus the games store your high-scores - an important aspect I think.

Everything is included - overlays, controls, side art and backgrounds are visible to give the true arcade look. They can even be toggled on and off if you'd rather play the arcade game fullscreen. Lots of background info is included as well as fun challenge modes and enhanced graphic options.

If you want pure Atari arcade conversions this is the one to buy - the 2600 games and the background info and extra graphics are just the icing on the cake.

For the price you can't go wrong. Recommended.

3-0 out of 5 stars This would be better if original controllers were available
I played Atari 2600 and 5200 games incessantly as a kid. When I saw this on the shelf recently it was an instant buy. While the graphics and sound are the real deal, I didn't much enjoy not having the original controllers to play them with, like the trackball, spin wheel, or paddle. Also, I could do without having to "zoom" in past the arcade cabinet facia just so I could have the game "full-screen". In any event, my favorites are on here, including "Tempest" and dozens of others. Not bad. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars great game
i think that spongebob the movie may be the most funny, charming, addictive, and kid friendly game of the year. i am also having alot of fun with it, and i am 9. this game is very entertaining, and has levels that younger kids will love playing over again. however, there can be some frustirating levels that even i have difficulty with. overall, i think that this is a great game for kids young and old.

3-0 out of 5 stars Only for one player
My kid loves this game, but the bad part is that only allows one player and it's not really fun for him because he can't play and enjoy when his friends are around. The other thing is that Game Cube games scratch easily. How do you keep a Four old from doing that?

1-0 out of 5 stars Too Frustrating.
The brutal difficulty level on the final boss battle in this game just ruined it for me. Who in the world do they think is playing a game like this? Hardcore Halo fans? If you don't care about finishing a game I guess it doesn't matter. Otherwise expect your little one to be in tears over this. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun can't last 4-ever, but it could've been longer than this
I bought the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
game on Gamecube systom four days ago.I am a horrible game player, and yet, I beat the game in two days. Not because it was easy, (even though some parts were,) but because it was
soooo SHORT.It was VERY fun, but I was quit dissapointed on not facing a boggart on the first day of term, and how you get the patronus charm spell book, and you don't get to save Buckbeak, and don't do as much as SEE a broomstick. However, the parts that were in it were very enjoyable.I was also pleased the makers of the game took notice of other creatures such as Redcaps & Hinnkypunks.I LLLLOOOOVVVEEE Harry Potter, and I think the game could have been better, but I would advise buying it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
This is a good game. Well, I'm a Harry Potter freak and own all four (counting the QWC). But, this game is just that...good. Let me say that it's very, very short. Let me give you an example. I bought it at the mall at about eleven, came home and ate lunch, went into my room and played the game in the length of one o'clock and six o'clock. I finished it as my mom called for dinner. But, this game has some really fun mini games and is even more enjoyable if you own the GameBoy Advance and the GBA version of the game. But I was kind of disappointed that there was no Quidditch or extended game play. Don't get me wrong, playing it over is fun. But, it's just sucks that I could finish it in about six hours. As any other Harry Potter game the music and landscape is great but it can become choppy and can sometimes freeze up. Another big plus to this game is that you can play as Ron, Harry, and Hermione and use their talents and knowledge to get past certain puzzles. But, the downfall of this is that Harry still is the main played character. When I heard all of them were playable I thought they would finally do everything together. Go on and face Voldemort together unlike the first two video games. Turns out Ron (like movie and book) was hurt always hurt or looking for Scabbers and Hermione always ran to get help or was hurt. Sometimes you would just play as Ron or Hermione but Harry had the best inventory of spells and items. But, it is very cool to travel through Hogwarts again and find all the Wizard Cards I missed and to re-live my favorite parts of the game. Over all, I recommend it!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars This game rocks in 2004!!!!!
I am seven years old and I bought this game because I loved the movie.I thought it would be better than the movie.First, you wake up and go to Dark Arts class and while you're there you have to get the spell book and you have to be all three people (Harry, Ron and Hermione).Harry tries first. He is the only one that can jump, which I thought was cool. Then, Ron tries to get the secret passage open successfully.Next, Hermione asks Ron if there is anything in the secret passage.Ron says that it is dark and painful. There are scary creatures in the passage. He fights them.He goes and fights pixies, then he finds his way back.I think this game is popular. My friend has already finished it.I would suggest this game for ages 7+.I think you would like this game a lot if you're seven. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great Girl Video Game!!
Hi, I'm a 16-year old boy and bought this video game at ToysRus in Janzen Beach today, this game is really cool, it's about Barbie is going on an adventure to complete some missions in 4 different countries:England, China, Italy and Mexico.I don't have to read the booklet after I got this game, but I sometimes forget the controls. But I better not let the girls see this video game, or else my girlfriend will break up with me.

4-0 out of 5 stars Cute game but them passwords
This is a cute game for little girls. This is a good starter game, those passwords are frustrating though. It would be perfect if it save.

4-0 out of 5 stars Cool game but...
it's too short! The graphics are not bad and neither is the story but you could beat the game in an hour. It's not like other games that when you beat it you get new stuff. No. It's the same way when you beat. I beat the game in half an hour. And the game was too easy. I liked moving Barbie around but that's really it. Luckly, it wasn't my game. At first I was thinking of buying it but after, I wasn't so sure! My friend has all of the barbie games. I'll just try them before I buy them. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars great game
it is not to hard not to easy and has preety good graphic's for a gamecube

1-0 out of 5 stars Please, help me pay to get help for this trauma.
This is the worst game I have ever played. It goes way off track of who Sonic is.
It is interesting that you can play as different characters, wait, no it's not. Sonic is the only one worth it. He still goes super fast, but his attack is horrible and does not work that well. Tails is interesting, but the same problems as Sonic. Knuckles is way to hard for anyone. Big is super Sonic BORING! Gamma, with his auto aim, provides no challege to shooting but hit the B button. Amy is no fun at all since she is trying solve simple puzzles.
The camera will make you look more like you are spying on the character.
The Choas kids would be interesting. I just do not want to spend an hour looking for it in a garden as big as my backyard (tiny).
The music is horrible and girlish boy style. I can't say any more.
My mind is repressing this memory.

5-0 out of 5 stars a fun game

3-0 out of 5 stars Major League Baseball 2K5
First, I have to say that this game is very fun. The mechanics are great, and the pitching is flawless. I love the ESPN K-Zone pitching system. This was a great idea on the part of 2K sports. I also love the batting mechanics. I almost hit some homeruns. This is where the game begins to lack.

First off, they say you can climb the wall to catch low homeruns, and sometimes you can. Most of the time though, your player runs up to the wall, presses against it, and watches as a catchable homerun flies over his head. Very close to his head. You think as you finally step up to bat, "Ah, now I get to to stomp all over them," but in truth, they catch everything. Is there a homerun twenty feet in the air? No matter! The opposing team just lifts up their gloves as the ball magnetically flies into their mit.

All in all, this game is pretty even. It isn't bad. It isn't good. Just good old fashioned mediocre baseball.

4-0 out of 5 stars Best baseball game I've ever played
I actually rate this 4.5 stars, but there's no option for that. Anyway, this is the only b-ball game I've ever kept for a moderate period of time. I had MVP 2004 and the All-Star Baseball games in the past, they were fun for a short while, then I totally lost interest for various reasons. This game by far has the best pitching/batting interface i've ever seen. I don't understand why some people complain how tough the pitching aspect is, I play on All-star difficulty and find it extremely easy (as long as you good aim). The graphics are great, the commentary is superb, the defense is a bit simple (ground balls to an infielder is an automatic out 99.9% of the time), and tons of unlockables. This game boasts the best Home run Derby in my opinion too. The one negative I have is for simple things. The Marlins cathcer, Paul Lo Duca, well on the back of his jersey, his name is spelled wrong. I've seen it as LOWDUCA and even today it was spelled LORDUCA!?!?!?! And i'm doing a season with the Mets and i'm 7-1, but at the start of today's game, Joe Morgan said I've lost 7 of my last 10 games!?!?!? Also, when a fly ball is hit to your outfielder, occasionally, he'll just plain drop it. Because I haven't played MVP 2005 or MLB 2006, I can't comment on those, but for my money (19.99 new), MLB 2K5 delivers. GO METS!

2-0 out of 5 stars SO COOL YET TOTALLY BLOWS.............
I'm sure you guys are wondering how a cool game can blow so here's the word. I play the games and I play franchise mode. Here's my response on both issues....

Gameplay: GREAT. K-Zone is so awesome to use. You can use pinpoint accuracy in throwing your pitches. To balance this out, when the pitcher starts getting tired or a big slugger is at the plate in a pressure situation in a close game, the cursors go faster. To throw the ball, you must first move the cursor to the desired location. Then you hit the corresponding button. Y may be for a slider, A for fastball, B for cutter and so forth. You pick your spot, hit the button and a horizontal cursor moves across the screen and you simply hit any button (A,B,Y,X) when it lines up with the initial location and then vertically the cursor moves and you again hit a button to line it up. If you miss too far left, the pitch will go left. If you miss high or low, it will go higher or lower. It makes it fairly tough at times to be accurate which is how it is in real life. If that was confusing, if you've played basketball and used the free throw system, this is exactly the same but it's not as frustrating as in basketball where Shaq NEVER makes one.

Turning double plays is easy. Fielding can be a challenge at times if you don't get your player in proper position but overall, very easy to do. You shouldn't make too many human errors with the controls. Batting, depending on the difficulty level. Don't use legend at first or you will be frustrated. Start off with rookie and develop your swing and PATIENCE and work your way up.

Graphics, pretty life like. Very nice overall. Great part of having an Xbox, you can add your own stadium music, batter intro's etc. Takes a lot of time but it's worth it if you are into that kind of stuff.

When playing with two friends, it's easy to see the pitch with the K-Zone. To solve this, simply, change it to a meter system and the K-Zone disappears. You lose total precision yet with the vibration on which tells you when you are out of the strike zone, you can still get your pitches fairly close without your opponent knowing where the pitch is coming. Very nice they added this. Makes playing with others fun.

Overall 5 stars.

Now, onto the franchise mode.

Totally freaking blows.

Contracts: Not real amounts. Some players make more and some less than their real life counterparts.

I played a game three times and it wouldn't save. I HAVE to have accurate stats and I don't want the CPU to have to simulate a game for me. I had to. It wouldn't save. Also, you can't save a game in the middle of it as in Madden 2005. You must simulate it or shut your Xbox off. I suggest, shut off the Xbox. When you simulate and then reload the season without saving, that's not fail proof. I lost once through simulation (I accidentally hit simulate instead of play game) and reloaded and play the game later. I really did lose. It was the fourth game of the season and I should've been 3-1. The standing showed 3-2. It somehow counted the loss that never was. Very homosexual. One time I had to quit a game midstream because I wasn't ready for legend mode. I was losing 6-2 in the 7th. I ended up winning 10-4!!!!! Tell me where that teams two runs went? To top that off, it mysteriously saved it. I simply simulated and quit the season WITHOUT saving because I simulated and then shut the Xbox off. Suggestion, NEVER simulate regardless.

CPU ALWAYS tries to screw up your lineup no matter what you tell it. If you don't keep a good memory on who last pitched, CPU will try to pitch someone twice. If you make a trade, it's over with. Your whole rotation is in shambles. CPU is just ignorant.

There are a few good things however in the franchise mode. You can do a GM franchise season or whatever and you have to choose a team and work for the GM. Depending on his managing style will depend on what tasks you must perform. Money grubbing owners (Royals, Pirates) who care nothing of winning will want you to keep costs and complete minimum even if it means trading your best player like Beltran to the Astros for minor leaguers or whatever complete rip off occured a few season back with the Royals. Of course, the Yankees want nothing short of a championship or you'll probably get fired really quick. It's cool to mess around with until the GM tells you to axe your favorite players because he's overpaid. You won't always get fired if you ignore his wishes as long as you do the most important one. In my case, it was winning and I won several titles so who cares if I got to keep my favorite player if I won a World Series. The owner wasn't too pissed.

Minor leaguers: You can promote, demote and check out stats for your minor leaguers. At the end of the season, a progress report is issued and shows how your players are doing. When making trades, be sure to click with the analog stick to check out the players profile and his potential. It's always good to sneak in a minor leaguer or two in a big trade as they will be the future of your franchise. Especially the Kansas City Royals or someone like that. They can't afford anyone but minor leaguers and seem to be a farm team for the Yankees and the rest of the MLB.

Overall, with the stats errors, CPU retardation and stupid fake contracts, it's a 1.

Balanced out, I give the game an overall three. It's fun, until you run into problems (all the time). ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing Game
I had to think it over weather to buy Gran Turismo 4 or this one since there werent many reviews on this game. But now I would say it was a good choice.

As for physics of the game its totally perfect very realistic, every car feels diffrent. Also the VGS system which displays the weight transsition can be really helpfull sometimes. Another thing that I really liked was the feeling of speed. In GT4 even when you are going at 100+ you feel like you are going 60 but in enthusia with blur effect and other stuff you really feel the speed.

In this game you cant buy cars for money you have to unlock them. Also in Enthusia life mode as you race you can upgrade your car's tuning level which is just basically increasing the tire quality, power and weight. This game is more about your driving skills rather that winning racing using high powered cars. You get more points for winning a race with a low powered car. Unlike other car racing games you get Enthusia Points taken of if during the race you get off road, hit a car, and etc. which prevents you from using tricks like using your opponents car to make a fast turn which alot of people are used to in GT4.

It has fair amount of tracks. Total comes up to around 20-25. One of the amazing thing in this game is a Mountain Downhill and Uphill track. That is something Initial D fans would really apreciate. Only 2 cars can race there at one time. And there can only be one lap ofcourse cause you start from top of the mountain and end up at the base.

Also it has a Enthusia Revolution Mode which really helps learn how to drive through the right line. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game!
My son is 6 and it is sometimes difficult to find games that are fun, challenging and at the same time easy enough for him to play himself. This game is not only fun for both of us, but it's challenging in a way that is not too hard for him nor too easy for me. We enjoy playing together and helping each other through the levels. Graphics and controls are great. The game is creative with fun "extras" to find that will make you laugh. My favorite part is the text boxes. My son doesn't have to call me into the room every 5 minutes to read the text for him because the game reads it outloud for him! Great feature!! For any Gamecube gamer this memory card is essential. I do not understand why Nintendo waited so long to create a bigger memory card than the 59, which is all but useless now.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Sequel to Hey You Pikachu
Hello people. I got this game for my birthday and I love it! It's simalar to Hey You Pikachu, which was crap compared to this. What I really like is the Pichu Brothers movie. Just in case you unobservant people havn't noticed, the CGI scene in the Pichu Brothers movie is different every time you watch it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very cute GameCube replacement for Stadium minigames
Way back in the days of Red, Blue, and Yellow, a game was released called Pokemon Stadium. It featured tough strategic battles, cute minigames, and useful utilities like Pokemon storage, item storage, and a Pokedex. It was useful and entertaining and remains one of my favorite N64 games.

Later, Nintendo released a similar game called Stadium 2, which was identical to the first but with small adjustments to the unlockable features and battle moe, and including better graphics, new games, and compatibility with Gold, Silver, and Crystal Pokemon. This also was fun and useful.

However, with the release of Ruby and Sapphire, Nintendo actually split the expected Stadium-style games into three: Colosseum (which included battle mode and a new RPG mode), Box (which was purely a storage utility), and Channel (dealing with the mini-game side of things). Box looks like a useful utility, and Colosseum is wonderful, but Channel is a fun mixture between the classic Stadium and Stadium 2 minigames as well as the old game "Hey You Pikachu." In it, you befriend a wild Pikachu which is interested in your new TV (haha). You watch new shows every day, which include Psyduck's news, Squirtle's shopping channel, and Wobbuffet's quiz show. Each day you get new shows. The best part about this game is definately the availability of a special Pokemon episode featuring Meowth and the Pichu Brothers, who first appeared in the 3rd Mini-Movie "Pikachu and Pichu." This show comes in five parts, and you must search for the fifth along with Pikachu.

Though the addition of the animated episode was a wonderful touch, the interaction with Pikachu was not as good as the old game Hey You Pikachu, mostly because of the lack of microphone and the focus being taken off you befriending Pikachu. Also, the mini-games were not as entertaining as the Stadium and Stadium 2 games were. Mostly because of the cute episode, though, I give this game 4/5. ... Read more
