5-0 out of 5 stars Greatest Game Ever
This game is designed so you can change the most uncool car to an extreme car. It is almost like the show Pimp My Ride but extreme to make it race.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game!!!
nfsu2 was a really fun not complicated game.it has a really good storymode and the cars look better than ever!!!but it was a 4star becouse the game is short and when you beat the game it gets kinda boring.i recomend you do not play on easy mode!!!=) not the best game for a eaisly brused eigo too.

5-0 out of 5 stars NFS Rocks!
I love NFS! More cool music and eye-popping great graphics! And for sandra, music is optional, and none of this suggestive themes either. Fine for 6+. NFS is easy to get used to. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars BEST SOCCER GAME TO DATE!!
This by far the best soccer game i have ever witnessed. I from Europe and iit has all the teams i follow so I play with my favorite teams ( go Kaiserslauten). It features a great franchise mode that is nicly polished, and the tourny mode is graet for parties. This games proves that EA games is , will and continue to be a powerhouse in videogame industry. Anyone even a little bit intrested in the soccer world should definitly check this one out( make sure ou ahve ebough blocks on your memory card- and if you do not have it yet, get the 1019 block memory it's ideal for sports games that use up so many blocks.Overall=9.5/10
This wouldn't receive sportgame of the year(it would lose to mvp baseball 2004) but it's a fun ride that doesn't end.

5-0 out of 5 stars My favorite game!!
This is by far the best game i've ever seen. The graphics are superb, and the sound is just plain awesome. The new create-a-player is great, because you can customize his nose, mouth, eyes, hair, sleeve length ect. And a much deeper career mode makes this the best soccer game available.

5-0 out of 5 stars This Game is the best!!
This game is sooo tight. With the create a player mode, bone crushing graphics and just awesome I mean AWESOME gameplay. FIFA 2005 is the leading soccer game in the World. The tournament mode is so amazing, with a deep career mode. Their teams are all complete with every single player included. It makes my head spin using my best team Brazil. With Ronaldo, Rivaldo and Ronaldinho, my team is unstoppable. WHAT ARE U WAITING FOR??? GET URS NOW!!!!!!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Lots of detail!
this games is a great game if you like to customize you car and every detail of it. I found no cons in the games.

1-0 out of 5 stars A Travesty of a Title
This game is quite a travesty. Thank goodness I purchased it used from a third party dealer on Amazon. I will be selling it at my local Gamestop tomorrow for hopefully an small loss.
I can't comprehend the hype over this game. Perhaps, the positive evaluations are emanating from folks who haven't played other quality race titles or any good game before for that matter.
There is no improvement in this title over the first one. In fact, I popped in the old one just to ensure I wasn't delusional. It turns out I wasn't. NFS 1's graphics are almost identical and I believe the gameplay may be better in the first game. It certainly had more redeeming qualities, easier functionality, and was actually fun (but nothing serious like PGR2).
Driving all over town to find "the next race" may be one of the most annoying tasks I ever had the displeasure to endure in any video game. I had enough of those kinds of non-sensical chores in "Grand Theft Auto"; It justs takes away from a game that already doesn't have much to offer as a baseline.
Even the cut-scenes are total crap. They are are actually non-animated comic book like graphics. This is completely unacceptable in 2004-2005 on the XBOX when animations from Halo 1 & 2 and Ninja Gaiden are far superior.
From a racing perspective Project Gotham 2 totally steps all over this game in every single aspect (See my review of that).
EA racing games pretty much blow.In the past, I rented Burnout 3, another EA game, and whoa, what another incredibly overrated waste of time and energy. I will never again invest time nor money in an EA title. They have proven recently that they are incapable of putting out a quality game for XBOX.

3-0 out of 5 stars No replayability no fun when u complete boooring
Need for Speed+Underground+2=????
i'm sorry EA this is going to be a bad review for ur game :(
Wow... the visuals, the performance upgrades, the cars.
It sounds great.
It sounded great when I bought it for ( oh i cant say what i bought it for)
It now sounds like a form of torture.
Now ive finished the game ive realized that the only good part of it is the soundtrack...and the idea
At first ithought that this game was soooo coool!!
Then I got to the last two levels...
It gets repetative!!! Really repetative!!! So repeatative its like chinese water torture. In career mode you win about 20 races then you sign a new sponsor. In career mode you win about 20 races then you sign a new sponsor. In career mode you win about 20 races then you sign a new sponsor. In career mode you win about 20 races then you sign a new sponsor. In career mode you win about 20 races then you sign a new sponsor. In career mode you win about 20 races then you sign a new sponsor. In career mode you win about 20 races then you sign a new sponsor. In career mode you win about 20 races then you sign a new sponsor. In career mode you win about 20 races then you sign a new sponsor. In career mode you win about 20 races then you sign a new sponsor. In career mode you win about 20 races then you sign a new sponsor.
AND YOU DO THAT FOR ABOUT EVER
Then they seem to make you stop unlocking parts cars and visuals and the races become pointless...
all there is to do now is play free mode.
On the back of the case it says race or roam on 125 miles of open road.... HA
this is so UNtrue
yes the city is huuuge.. but it has about 5 other streetracing cars driving around and 30normal people cars...that come in 5diffrent varieties(hatchback, van, pickup, suv, and taxi)this may sound good.. but if you think about it , on 125 miles of road you encounter 3 cars every 5 minuites
the motorways(or for USA rreaderes highway or freeway)are absolutley emptty!!!(apart from one or two cars)
races are good. but you repeat the same one over and over again

the cars are amazing and the modding(or to the not knows CUSTOMIZING or CHANGING YOUR CARS STYLE AND APPEARANCE)is fantasatic with endlesss... etc...BUT no damage detail...
you see me going down the motaorway at 200 mph suddnley i crash into one of the few cars. it goes into slow motion for a second and then well...you emerge with no damage at all ( no wonder they had to put a saftey warning at the beggining...no wonder i always see people flying past my bedroom window at 200 mph and then killing themselves by crasing into so guys ride...expecting to emerge absolutley fine lol lol )

i reccomend not buying this but buying the first midtown madness.at least in that there is more traffic...which means more fun and crashes!"!!(with damage detail)
(just kifdding [lol] buy the game butdont expect much of it i also reccomend buying the first midtown madness.)

4-0 out of 5 stars Can't See It?Take it to the Big Screen!
The Game Boy Player can be a great piece of hardware. There are a lot of games out there that, while designed for the small screen, require a lot of time and attention to detail, which can become a pain when playing on such a tiny screen. The Game Boy Player solves that problem, letting you convert any game from the countless library of Game Boy and Game Boy Advance titles to a bigger screen. The graphics obviously aren't going to improve (they usually look the same as on the GBA), but the bigger image saves the trouble of straining your eyes to make sure you didn't miss anything.

Of course, this is the only real advantage in having a Game Boy Player. It's really not an essential piece of equipment in the gaming experience; if you have no real interest in playing Game Boy games on a bigger screen, the money would be better used on something else.

4-0 out of 5 stars Saves on Batteries
I don't consider myself a gamer but I do play more than I should. With that said I am very happy with this purchase. It has brought new life to my older games.

5-0 out of 5 stars I'm glad I bought it.
I was a little concerned when reading the reviews of this product before i bought it. I read that there was an annoying box surrounding the game on the tv set. This was the biggest issue for me before purchasing. I wasn't sure how bothered I'd be by this, but i decided to buy it anyway. I have a gameboy advance sp to play while i'm at work but I find myself not playing it as often as I thought I would. Since I have a lot of my favorite games on GBA (Mario 3, Final Fantasy, classic Zelda, Minish Cap, etc.) I thougth it would be cool to be able to play them at home. Playing Mario 3 on my TV is so great, like being in junior high again! And I don't even find myself bothered by the surrounding box. You can put it on a full screen mode, but there are still bars at the top and bottom, probably due to the gameboy advance having a wider screen ratio than standard televisions. My only complaint is that you have to have another gameboy and cable for mulitplayer, which means I can't use GBA games for Monday video game night with friends. But that's minor. I was telling myself as I was buying it that I probably shouldn't be spending the money on it right now, but I am really glad I did. Especially after spending all morning playing the first Final Fantasy that was recently released on GBA. Classic! Oh and one more thing, if you are a kid in high school, you might not appreciate playing old school looking games on the big screen as much. But for us older folk, it's like revisiting those after school afternoons at your friend's house! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars WOW- But sorta hard
Man this is so cool! I don't even HAVE it, my friend brought it when she came for a sleepover and we practically played it all night! It is sorta hard, especially the Jasmine part, and Belle is the easiest, however I like Cinderella. You play as all six of the princesses so it's like 6 games in one.
Game controls (Note these are for Chapter 1, and you can press start to pause and you can open chests by going in front of them and pressing A):
Belle: B to throw snow ball, left and right to move, A to jump, down to make a new snowball.
Cinderella: A to bonk Lucifer on the head, B to clean the floor, Left and right to move.
Ariel: Up down left and right to move, B to blast with the trident.
Aurora: A to turn butterflys into fairies, B to put the guys to sleep, left and right to move.
Snow White: A to jump, B to sing and put the wicked trees to sleep, Left and Right to move.
Jasmine: Up down left and right to move. Go over a switch to activate it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Varying levels of difficulty
This game was my 5 year old daughter's first for her new GBA SP.She was able to play Cinderella right away, and worked her way up to Sleeping beauty and Snow White, completing all the chapters for each. She found the 2nd chapter for Belle easier than the first, simply because she didn't know that Belle could make more snowballs (we figured this out by accident).Ariel and Jasmine are still a bit too complicated for her to get through (I found them difficult the first couple of times), but it is a challenge she looks forward to.I believe this range in difficulty is a plus for the game as any child can begin it and work their way up.

4-0 out of 5 stars A Disney Classic
I'm an adult and I love video games. I chose Disney Princess because I'm an avid Disney fan. This game only took me a few hours to complete but was highly entertaining along the way. The single-player game is somewhat halting, with not a lot of room to move around (fixed paths to move in, you go where they tell you to go) in the game play but for any girls, ages reading level and up, it is fabulous. The colors are vivid and there are many levels with items you have to find while keeping your life up. I recommend this game for any Disney fan. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Oh no! It looks like your granddad was right--things really were better in the old days. At least they were if you liked 2-D platform games, and Yoshi’s Island is indisputably one of the best ever made.

Yoshi’s Island goes back in time to recount the touching story of the various Yoshis' attempts to unite Baby Mario with his parents. You don’t actually control the Italian plumber-to-be but instead his dinosaur pal, who has the curious ability to eat his enemies and then immediately turn them into eggs, which he can then fling at more enemies.

Since Yoshi isn’t particularly fast and can float in midair for a few seconds after making a jump, the whole dynamics of the normal Mario gameplay have changed, but the same incredible attention to detail and endless imagination that mark all of Nintendo’s best efforts are still here in full effect. In fact they’re joined this time, after the rather plain-looking prequel, by some wonderful pastel-shaded graphics that were jaw-dropping when the game was originally released in 1995 and still manage to impress now.

As with the other Super Mario Advance titles, this game also contains a four-player version of the original Mario Bros. arcade game, making it even more of a bargain than it already was. --David Jenkins, Amazon.co.uk ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Too MUCH Fun
This game is AWESOME! It was my first GBA game. BUT, there are some cons. Some levels are just too long and/or impossible. Many times I think i just get lucky. Anyway, my dad saw it and didn't put it down until he beat the game. (no, he didn't play for 24 hours straight.) A fantastic game for mario lovers (like me.) A great idea would be to BUY IT!

yeah, and its just as cool as it was on snes, man this game owns!!! i used to play it on the old system for almost 10 hours sraight, and now its back and better than ever! this is a must have for any gba owner!

3-0 out of 5 stars Cute enough, but I just can't get into it
Super Mario World 2: Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island. Phew! How about that for a title. I admit I found it a bit confusing putting these Mario Advance games in order but I think I've figured it out now. You gotta admit it's a bit convoluted.

This game is a simple 2D platformer like most of the retro Mario games only it has four more levels than the SNES version released in 1995. It's got easy-going gameplay in the typical Super Mario style, gorgeous graphics, generic sounds and not much to keep me interested. Yoshi IS impossibly cute but even for a guy who likes cute stuff this game is just TOO childish.

2-0 out of 5 stars Return of the general lee is alright at best
The game is alright.Number one problem THE GENERAL LEE it's to high off the ground and to bright of an orange. If you look at the TV Show the car is alot darker orange then it is in the game. The front bumper and the back bumper needs to be lower to the ground and the push bar is to wide. The words on the roof that says general lee needs to be blue not black. The front of the general lee is to sloppy compered to the real 1969 Dodge Charger. Now lets talk about the gameplay. Ratbag tried but they came up very short. They need to stick to the other games they make. Warner Brothers Should of Got EA to make the game or Atari. When you are driving the general it slides and does 180 s and 360s just by tapping the analog stick. Driving overal just feels like driving on ice. Now lets move on Hazzard County the whole place is pretty impressive but could be a whole lot bigger. Besides a couple of Pretty noticable facts. Cooters Place isn't in the middle of nowhere it's in the town. The town is way to small i know that it's small in the tv show but not that small. The Actors did a great job of bringing the charcters to life and sounding authentic enough to sell the game. But the fact that the game is way to short. I can beat it in 3 times in an hour and a half. I'am a die hard dukes fan thats the only reason i bought. PLEASE SOMEBODY MAKE THIS GAME BETTER.

1-0 out of 5 stars Money wasted!!
On the surface, the game looks good. They have all of the original cast (except for those that have passed away) back to voice their characters in the game. There is a good storyline to be had, but then we get to gameplay itself. In a word TERRIBLE!!!A person spends more than half the time necessary to complete a mission in that you cannot steer the vehicles!!You turn one way and the car oversteers back the otherway.I think whoever set this game up must have been "asleep at the wheel".Also the camera does not do very well following the vehicle (you) around as you drive. Then there were the countless times I would get caught up in fences, trees, etc, and not be able to get out. Now, if you flip and land upside-down the game will flip you right-side up, but get caught up like I did and you have to reset the game and start over.Another problem this game has is check-points, THERE AREN'T ANY!!!Of course if they wanted to make up for that they would have given you the ability to save during a "mission".I suppose if you're an absolute die-hard fan of this show you might enjoy it.I grew up watching the show and found it very disappointing.

2-0 out of 5 stars 5% fun and 95% frustration
Overall, sure it's enjoyable.I first played the demo at a friend's house. Then I rented the game, and my best friend and I worked our way through the game.Notice that I did not say we played our way through the game.Unfortunately, it's nothing short of a chore to get through this game.Certain things you have to do have very strict (sometimes on the very brink of impossible) time limits. If you fail to meet your goal in time, then it starts you at the very beginning of that "mission," if you will. But you may have worked for hours to get where you are.

This game does not let you save very often, and there are no options in terms of difficulty levels. If that feature had been added, I would have much better things to say about this game. This game has a level of re-playability only to the extent at which you remember the frustrations you endured during your first run of gameplay.I re-started the game one night, but after a few minutes decided, "Oh yeah, I remember how irritating this game eventually became."So, I quit.

It's sad that the people who made this game were unaware of the fact that not every game-player is born with a silver controller in his mouth. But they were obviously expecting their target audience to be absolutely perfect in terms of hand-eye coordination on the controller.

I recommend everyone to avoid this game and wait for the developers to produce a game which proves that they are in touch with their market. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Basically a rental title
I rented this once at gamefly(like netflix, only you rent games), and when I rented this title, I thought I was in for a surprise. But all it is is a remake of blue and red. Although I played a decent amount of hours, the new islands of new pokemon give the game a little better replay value.

4-0 out of 5 stars its just like...
Its cool and all but its just like the old one only with another name and on GBSP.

This game is a awesome replay of pokémon blue, red and yellow but this game seems slightly easier than the last lot. I enjoyed the old pokémon games but once Ruby and Sapphire came out I got bored of them and this is just another games with pikachu and charizard in it instead mudkip and torchic. And there is a new pokémon game coming out soon. Emerald. Go buy that one instead of this one. It's pretty good but not good enough. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars A full Multi-Category review (and MAVAV parody bonus!)
This time around, gamers are in for a special treat from me. Not only am I giving my Multi-Category review to Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, but I just found a spoof website the other day made by the MAVAV (Mothers Against Video game Addiction and Violence), and found the site hilarious, absurd, and infuriating. As a result, I'm proud to include as a bonus in this review a parody mixed in saying what MAVAV would probably say about this game.

Enjoy!

GRAPHICS: (Me): This Kirby game shows that Nintendo knows how to bring out the best in its systems. The graphics may be decried by some as kiddie, but you should never judge a book by its cover. RATING: 9
(MAVAV): Kirby is yet another cute little character made to take advantage of the same strategy the tobacco industry used: lure kids in and addict them!

SOUND: (Me): Good, it fits in well with the Kirby universe. RATING: 9
(MAVAV): Turn off the volume! That music contains subliminal messages that will tell your childrens' subconcious to play more!

PLOTLINE: (Me): Kirby is chopped into four separate Kirbys of different colors and must swallow enemies and use their powers to save Mirror World. Goo, but it can be a little basic. RATING: 7
(MAVAV): This game has extreme violence and trains kids to kill people! If your children see Sword Kirby give Mr. Flosty a whack, they will be guaranteed to grow up as hardened, murderous criminals!!!

CONTROLS: (Me): Excellent. All difficulty comes from the skill needed to succeed. RATING: 8.5
(MAVAV): Once your kids touch the GBA, they will not be able to let go of it. They will immediately become obese social outcasts and suffer from extreme mental problems!

GLITCHES: (Me): None, as far as I know. RATING: 9.5
(MAVAV): This game has loads of glitches! And according to our non-existent, made-up sources, that's a FACT!!!

ENTERTAINMENT: (Me:) Excellent. I enjoyed it. RATING: 8
(MAVAV): Video game addiction is more dangerous than drugs and gangs! Don't let your kid touch this!

REPLAY VALUE: (Me): Plenty enough for a few times through. RATING: 8.5
(MAVAV): Oh, there's plenty, all right... when your kids are on a 72-hour non-stop gaming binge!

OVERALL RATING: 8.5

A FINAL WORD: (Me): Good game.
(MAVAV): Nintendo will steal your child's future. If they play this, THEY'LL BE SORRY!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great kirby game!!!
This game is a very fun and challenging game.It is kind of that game that you might play all day and everyday. And your friends can help you beat the game.So you can split up and conquer the areas.Call your friends to the area you are having trouble with, and if you need to heal, call him/her to your area and eat the food they broght. This game is a must since you have to complete the game 100% and it is not going to be easy!

3-0 out of 5 stars A very average game.
I wasn't that excited about MX vs ATV Unleashed, so i decided to rent it. I'm just thanking myself that i decided not to buy it considering that it is an extremely average made game.

Graphics: The graphics in MX vs ATV Unleashed are very simplistic and resemble graphics that you might find in a Gamecube. (No offense Nintendo.)To put it in a better way, they are graphics that you would find in an average MX/ATV game.

Gameplay: MX vs ATV unleashed provides the gamer with many different gametypes which include freestyle, freeride, race cross, race the top and many more. The controls are fairly simple to memorize and ihave to say, it is fun once in a while when you bust off this huge trick giving you thousands of points. However, it still feels like you are playing the first ever made MX/ATV game, as not many changes have been made except for the gameplay types, a lot more have been added.

Audio: The music revolves mostly around rap/metal rock. If you like those music categories, you will like the soundtrack. If you don't, then you wont like the soundtrack. Its as easy as that.

Online: The online is probobly the best part in this game. It hardly ever lags, and you can go up against your opponent in many different gametypes including the ones that i previousely listed.

As a result, if you are a fan of these kinds of games then i guess it is worth adding to your collection, however if you are not, i would leave it on the shelf.

2-0 out of 5 stars Disappointment
I purchased this game a few days ago with high hopes. I have been waiting for a good racing game featuring trophy trucks for a long time, and after I saw some in the game's trailer, I decided to give it a try.

At first, I was very entertained, as I hadn't played a dirt bike game since excite bike for the nintendo. It is somewhat satisfying performing tricks and racing on the bikes, however, this leads to my first and second disappointment, which is the driving physics and the graphics. To put it bluntly, RalliSport it isn't.Maybe I was expecting too much after many hours with RalliSport and RalliSport 2, but the game just isn't up to the level of other Xbox racing games.
Another disappointment is the collision detection.I find myself partially going through walls and hills more often than I would like.Another frustrating issue I come across, is landing jumps. Most of the time it is flawless, but other times, it seems like a landing is shaping up to be perfect, but the rider crashes. Other times, the rider "crashes" in mid air before the jump is complete. If these are just due to my lack of skill, then perhaps there should be a better tutorial.
My final complaint has to do with the "other" vehicles. The driving/flying of the monster trucks, trophy trucks, and helicopter is absolutely poor. There is no other way to describe this. Also, although I somewhat expected, the involvement of the other vehicles in the actual game is somewhat limited.
I should also mention that the menu screen is not well laid out. At first it is unclear what needs to be done to initiate a "career mode".It is also not clear how you have done on individual tracks before you select them...some type of box off to the side displaying stats would be welcome.

This game will provide hours of entertainment jumping and racing the bikes and atv's, but don't expect too much from any other aspect of the game.I can't believe I haven't purchased Ghost Recon 2 yet, but picked this up...wait for the price to drop.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Off Road Game EVER!!!
This game is the best because there is a veriety of choices between what you can be ATV, Motorcycle, Helicopter, Plane, Sand Rail And MORE!! One Bad thing it king of takes to long to load each race. Grafics are super. There are also a lot of tracks you can unlock like Glamis. Another cool thing is you can choose wheather your a Motorcycle or ATV of haveing a 2-Sroke or 4-Sroke engine lots of optons for you bike and ride to have the way YOU like it. 4-0 out of 5 stars If you have a Game Gear or Genesis, maybe not
I have a Game Gear with 16 games. Some of which are Sonic games. I have titles like Sonic 1(gettin there), Sonic 2(beat the Crystal Egg Zone part), and Sonic Chaos(how easy!). And Genesis including Sonic 1(wasn't much of a final battle) and Dr R's Mean Bean Machine for it. I have Sonic 3d Blast for my PC(fairly easy). That makes it kinda questionable.

4-0 out of 5 stars missing a game(the best one)
this game seem's to have every sonic game with the exception of my favorite one.....sonic cd(sega cd). that game has the best plot. you actually have to go back through time on the first two zones of each level and destroy dr. robotnicks machines. you have past present and future. you have to make sonic run really fast past the post(past, present, future)until he ends up in that time zone. of course you want to get to the past and destroy the machines because otherwise when you get to the third zone of the level even if you defeat dr. robotnick the future looks crappy because of the machines he set up. sonic cd had the coolest concept out of all the sonic games but was omitted which keeps this from getting five stars from me. with all that being said if you are a sonic fan this is still a good buy.although, i think including the game gear titles was a waste of time since they are just second rate versions of the genesis games.

5-0 out of 5 stars triangle don't understand that sonic is the best!

4-0 out of 5 stars tv remote control interference? please....
the guy who says "when it interacts with other wireless producs like remote controls for the television. It sometimes gets caught up when somebody changes the channel toward a similar beam of radio waves" is either dumb or pulling some legs... remote controls for tv's use INFRARED which requires line of sight while the wavebird uses RADIO FREQUENCIES, which do not. there is no way IR and RF can influence each other. he probably ran low on batteries...

5-0 out of 5 stars Very good
I am a hardcore gamer. I have had many systems, and gamecube is my favorite. But I have tried wireless controllers for Sega Saturn, Playstation, and Playstation 2. None work as well as the Wavebird for Gamecube.

Durability- 10/10 The durability of this thing is awesome. I have extremely large dogs (an English Mastiff and a Chocolate Lab) and they have stepped on, slobbered on, and knocked this thing off of a four foot table, but this thing works fine!!! It has taken quite a beating.

Precision- 10/10 The precision is just as good as a first party controller. Since the Wavebird is from Nintendo, I'm not suprised. I have bought (along with the Wavebird) Resident Evil 4, where bad aim is your downfall. The controller hasn't failed me yet.

Battery Life- 10/10 This pad lasts 100 hours on a single charge (2 AA batteries included). To preserve battery life, Nintendo took the Rumble feature off. You won't notice it's gone, and if you do, you need a more exciting game.

Price- 7/10 The controller is THIRTY dollars. That's expensive. I bought this thing new at a local GameXchange, and I was suprised by how much it cost. But if you have large dogs or small children in your house, then it is worth it.

This controller is excellent, and Nintendo made it well. But if you don't live in an enviroment where spending $30 for a wireless controller makes life easier, I recommend buying an extension cable.

5-0 out of 5 stars THE BEST CONTROLLER EVER!!
This Controller is the greatest thing ever invented. The product says that you can use it 20 feet away but when I tried it, I could move it from the other side of the house. This thing is awesome. I worship it. (In a healthy way) If you don't have one already, drop whatever you're doing and buy one. You won't regret it. THANK YOU SO MUCH NINTENDO. GO WAVEBIRD!! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Too short , but liked it.
Okay , the reason I gave it 4 stars is because it is too short.Above all, it was cool. Me and my brother finished it in a few weeks.

That's all i have to say,Thank you, Thank you very much.

4-0 out of 5 stars A great game for enforcing cooperation.
The best part of this game is that it supports cooperative play.Up to 4 players can participate in the adventure simultaneously on the same screen. Each character has his/her own strengths and may be the only character capable of completing certain tasks. My 5yo daughter and I played alot of the game together, tag-teaming the different obstacles and challenges--switching characters on the fly.Players can also drop out and drop back in whenever they want.Fun, not too hard, and the players are learning teamwork. My only complaint is that the game it not very long.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun for the whole family
My son got this game for Christmas, and it really is a lot of fun, the graphics are wonderful and it is very true to the movie.. and it's really a challenge beating the levels because it takes a lot of thinking and stragedy.

I give this ***** because no matter how many times we may beat the game it's still fun. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Baseball Game...Needs a Bit of Tuning
I just recently traded in MLB 2005 for this game. Am I nuts? No, I wanted a change of scenery.Mlb 2k5 gives me that change and more. But it lacks depth, or lacks anything at all, in certain areas, and I will be going over the pros and cons in this review.

Pros:

Graphics are pretty good. The players look real and the stadium sweeps look absolutely realistic.

The addition of a game overview by Carl Ravich is both fun and sometimes annoying. It is nothing but a timetaker to let the game load, so you do nothing except listen to him drone the pitcher's stats. It depends on who you ask about this one.

John Miller and Joe Morgan are nothing short of fantastic. Their commentary is always right on, and almost never repeats itself. It actually sounds like these two are at the game your playing.

Menu accesibility is good. I can smoothly go from one menu to another without having to autosave or something

The Franchise has covered almost everything they needed to cover

There are many different options on how to hit, field, etc.

I like being able to control the runner or batter, like if you want a guy to steal. However, it is incredibly easy to steal in this mode. I started to run after the pitcher threw the ball, the catcher threw a strike, and I beat it standing up. ???

Cons:

Franchise mode is not deep at all.If you set the computer to do your lineups, it plays two people as shortstop. How bizarre?

Batting interface kind of looks cheap. I don't like the look of the swing, or the way the running interface works. IT just feels kind of blah to me.

Fielding is completely random. You either make Ozzie Smith catches or throw to the wrong base or whatever.

The show-boat catches all look the same, and are an almost stupid addition.

Pro/Con:

This last depends on whether you like getting football scores are not. The slam zone.Basically when the pitcher makes a bad pitch a target appears. You can move your aiming target over this target and enter slam zone. Then the camera zooms in on the ball, then you try to power up and jack a 600 footer out of there. But sometimes, I'll have the meter completely filled up and I'll pop the ball up. Strange.

Anyway, this game is mixed. Though I like it better than MVP. ITs your choice.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good , but not great.
This game was dissapointing because it had high expectations, but it isn't horrible. I don't like the pitching because it is pretty hard to get the two circles to get together, and the graphics are kind of choppy, but still good. The things that i do like are the home run derby's which have standard, score, Tag Team, and Team, the skybox is really cool where you get darts, pictures, air hockey, and much more, and i like the presentation a lot because it looks like you are watching a game on ESPN. Overall this is a good game, but I recommend MVP Baseball 2005.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very Realistic!
This game is realistic and fun to play.Even though pitching is harder that other baseball games, it is very fun to play with my son Ryan. The downside of the game is that they mixed up the numbers the players wear.I like the realistic sound effects. It feels like I'm actually at a baseball game.My son likes the season mode!I had to do some work on the Brewers because they mixed up some of the numbers and didn't have some players. It's still a lot of fun. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great Graphics and Sound
I really like this game because the sound and graphics are good. The new Chase for the Cup mode is outstanding. My personal favorite they added this year for EA Sports is if you share draft with another racer and win races, you can earn skill points to buy production cars, paint schemes, and different tracks(to unlock)...etc.There is so much.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Game, Not Perfect
I disagree that the 1st game was better. The 2nd game is more developed and has a wider range of songs to choose from. There is music for everyone and even if you don't like a certain song, you will still have fun playing to it on the kongas since it will be a challenge. The songs are great to take your anger and energy out on and the beats really reflect the mood, stlye, melody, and rhythm of the song. The parts also help you develop an ear for the other instruments and what is going on with the other parts, not just the rhythm.
There are more extra features on this game. The only one I don't like is the freestyle. I don't find it fun just to play whatever I want because what you're playing isn't recorded or saved and there's no way to know what you did. The mini games are really fun and great for multiplayer. The feature where 2 players can play on 1 set of kongas is great because it builds team work and trust. It's a lot of fun for one person to get red, another yellow, and you both clap.
I havn't played multi-player (except the 2 player feature I just mentioned) because extra kongas are expensive and I don't want to make that purchase yet since no one else I know owns kongas or the game.
This game is also rated teen for mild lyrics. I havn't noticed any swearing but there are certain references including suffocation. Most songs are suitable for young children however. The whole family will enjoy Donkey Konga. I also recommend the 1st game in the series.
Although the real artists who perform the songs are not the people on the songs, the fake versions are still great and are performed by very talented musicians. They do a great job of covering the song to sound just like the real artist.
The only complaints I have are they could replace all the r and b and rap songs with some songs that are more rhythm heavy and upbeat. I also believe the game is a bit too short but the extra features and multi player make up for that.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good...could have been Great!
Look.I like the donkey kongas. The first one was great. The second one has been a bit of a letdown. Oh sure it's fun and delivers that but, for instance, in the first game I knew 85% of the songs.I can only recognize 30% of the songs in the new game because the others are just horrible drek I wouldn't listen to to begin with! There were a few surprise songs on there that I was glad to see, but the song that "sampled" the music from the "Young and the Restless" is, well, just HORRIBLE!It should have been better; at leastbetter songs to choose from and Nintendo failed to pick those.I still have fun with it irregardless of some of the C"rap"py music. If you know a lot of newer songs, you'll love it.It's just good for me. Not great. No Motown? No Beatles? No Elvis? No 70's classic rock? What happened?

5-0 out of 5 stars Amazingly fun for all ages
I admit that the bongos seem like a silly gimmick when you first look at them. But when you start playing with them, these are REALLY good rhythm and drum trainers!

The game comes with a good selection of songs to play along with - from Allstar to La Bamba, from the Nutcracker Suite to Shiny Happy People. There should be songs in here to suit all musical tastes. There are a bunch of different ways to play the songs. There are freestyles where you just drum and clap along any way you wish. There are a series of built in rhythms where you have to match up as well as you can with the song. There are two player modes where one person drums and the other person claps. There are a number of challenge modes where people play head to head or try to get better scores on the same song.

There are even rhythm trainers where you learn about different rhythms and learn how to hold them over a number of bars. It really is quite amazing how much the game teaches you about syncopation and unusual rhythms. If you feel you're rhythmically challenged, this game can get you to learn how rhythms work. If you think you're a pretty good drummer, give a try on some of the more challenging songs and see if you can keep up!

The game is great for solo play and even more fun in party situations, especially because the songs are so much fun. As you earn coins, you can use them to buy more difficult song versions, new sounds for your bongos and even new bongo visuals. You get a lot of incentive to keep getting better and better.

Where many games teach you skills that might seem meaningless (arcane combinations of button mashing), this game is actually teaching you a real life skill that is great. You could become a better real life drummer, or at least be able to hold your own better at any dances you might go to.

What's even better, this game is great for all ages. Young kids can have fun randomly hammering - while adults can do serious work in perfecting their skills.
