Not So Barbie-ish Anymore!
This game is truly fun and interactive for young horse fans. I loved how you could choose everything about your horse- body color, main & tail, eye color, saddle, bridle, blanket, and it keeps adding up! Even if you think Barbie games are too girly and boring (like me) you will still love this game. The graphics are amazing and it is awesome. They hardly even mention Barbie with her girly-girl accent. This game astounds me! I still play it, and so does my sister, cousin, and mom! Try it, and I'm positive it will suprise you!

interactive junk!
I'd rather watch Dragenball Z running backwards than play this game! There's a story, but it's stupid-- not borring stupid or funny stupid--just plane old box-of-rock stupid! Let's skip it, ok? Gameplay consists of Barbie collecting coins, opening chests, and useing her cell phone in the woods. And it's about as fun as it sounds. The thing that realy draws you out of the experience though is the fact that Barbie talks to you. This ruins the sense that you are the on-screen character. I gave it 1 star only because I couldn't give it 0 stars. And if you buy it you'll just be putting more money into the Barbie doll company's bank account.

But it gets annoying whenyou have to find all the foals and how slow barbie is.Besides that its neat and it would be better if when you play 2 players they could ride different horses each. Fun, no complaints
This game is addicting.Like caffine addicting.Seriously, this game is fun.The story starts out rather childish with apperntly shallow charecters, but as it progress, say about, for me, twenty hours into the game, you see that it's actually closer to a story about escapeism.The battles are just sweet, though sometimes (Very begining) there appears to be too much talking.The discover new areas thing was fun too.Now off to face down the final boss who I hate because my most powerful charecter is a paladin, paladins only do holy damage, and it's immune to holy damage.

Swords, and bows, and nukes, oh my!
Okay, to be frank, this game owns. I didn't like FFT because of the permanent death thing, but in FFTA, Marche can die and die and die and not die permanently.

---Graphics-wise, this game is dumbed down from FFT, but the class sprites look good and the mugshots are far better than FFT. They are quite repetitive, but that's only a slight problem. Also the bright colors make up for the dark nature of the gameboy screen.

---Sound-wise, this game is very good, many good tracks and very few problems, but its exceptional for a handheld.

---Story-wise, I thought it leaned more to the childish side, but it was okay, it was still good. I didn't like the end and the fact that Marche was dense as all hell to Ritz's behavior towards him was kind of funny... but odd.

---Gameplay-wise, this did damage to the score. Gameplay is fun, and addicting but it gets too old after awhile and enemy hordes have very simple patterns and the only time that changes is when you get stuck in a jagd, which are lawless parts of Ivalice, so you get pwned. (Yes I put pwned on purpose.)

All in all its a good game, albeit a slightly flawed one, but its worth the price, trust me on this one.

Man I've got some love

A good direction for Sonic!
(How long have a played this game, I think the record place said 96 hours or something like that!) I was suprised to hear that Sonic was getting a fighter for the Gameboy Advance, quite different from the "run to the goal" Advance series. Personaly, I like fighting games (not the bloody ones, but you know, the Super Smash Bros. types), and had very high expectations for this game. It satisified them with high action fighting and a challening story mode. In this game you can play as a variety of characters from the Sonic universe: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Rouge, Amy, Cream, and the unlockabel E-102, and Chaos. You can also play as Emerl. One thing I like about this game is that there seems to be no "Strongest" character (excuding a super experianced Emerl), it all depends on fighing style (Tails and Cream work best for me). The fact you can actuall heal is cool too, as is the fact you can customize your special attacks. In Story Mode, you have to follow the story line and battle set characters, in battle, you earn cards whihc represent different attacks from the characters you fought, and skill points. If you press R to go to the customize screen you can teach Emerl these attackes if you have enough skill points. There are even altra rare ultimate attackes! When you first boot up Sonic Battle, you can only play "Sonic's story" in Story Mode, once you beat it however, you earn Tails "episode", then Rouge's episode, ect. Every character has an episode except E-102 and Chaos. Battle Mode is my fav. Play a battle on any stage, with any characters, with many customizable rules. Challenge mode is where you battle five set rounds to earn the most piont possible. Minigames are also included, though only one is single player. My only complaint is that you can't do the "virtuall training" you encounter in Emerl's episode with anyone but him. The reason I gave duribility (can you even see that rating, it made me do it and educational value [which this game does not have] when I reviewed it - it didn't make me with any other game, weird) 3 stars is that it has a variety of bad gliches, having special attacks and healing stop working is the most often occuring one. Once however, it almost deleted all my data by itself. But, these gliches could be (and probably are) a result of my playing for 96 or so hours. i recommend this game to anyone who owns a Gameboy Advance, whether you're a sonic fan or not!

The blue spiky thing does it again!
When I first got a chance to play this game, I thought after seeing the intro (which was really none) that this was going to suck.Boy this shut me up.In this game, you can battle up to 3 other people with punches, kicks, and if you're Shadow (who really is something else), fire energy pulses.The action is fast-paced, but one problem I had is that the special attack meter takes too long to fill, the AI seems to hunt the player down every game, and its relatively easy to defeat an opponent with a combo into a wall-then slam to the ground-then a knockback attack.But either way, this game is rather addictive and worth the buy.

A much-needed breath of fresh air!
As a former video game zealot from my childhood and who became increasingly disillusioned at how grim, and violent that so many video games have become (Men of Honor? Give me a break! That's just something to turn our kids into possible soldiers) but 2003's "Sonic Battle" however is a major relief and gives me hope of more of the harmless fun that made video games so much fun and great escape entertainment!

While the games I played were historically adventure games (which I generally prefer), this game combines the adventure genre with battle genre and this game almost combines the X vs. X styles of "Mortal Kombat" minus the blood with the light-hearted fun of the Sonic games of old and the results are absolutely amazing! The music is awesome as well and if I could hook it up to a stereo, one could possibly get better music than what radio stations can offer these days.

There are many modes. The first is the story mode where the game starts in Emerald Town with Sonic and Tails finding a mysterious robot on Emerald Beach. Little do they know that this robot is actually a product of the evil Dr. Eggman (Dr. Robotnik from the old games but now known as Eggman) who threw it out believing that it was just a piece of junk. But this robot is powered by Chaos Emeralds. The game just gets more fun from here onwards. More characters eventually come in including some that I've never even seen or heard of before.

Battle Mode is a different mode where you can select any character to play including 'evil' characters to battle against three competitors including 'clones'. "Battle Mode" can be played alone or against other players as well. This one is a lot fun.

Challenge Mode involves making lots of points when taking into account how quickly the competitor is defeated, how much damage is done, rate of offensive attacks hitting it's target, etcetera.

Mini-games is a totally separate area from the otehr modes in which miniature games are played. The only solitary player game in this area is the Mine-Dig starring Knuckles the Echidna and it is played in the same what that the computer game Minesweeper is played in which Knuckles must uncover the squares but not the ones containing mines.

"Sonic Battle" is a welcome return for my favorite video game franchise ever. Go and buy it today! Even adults might enjoy this game as well. ... Read more

Harder then battle for bikini bottom
If you have played 'battle for bikini bottom' and thought it was fun and you bought this one thinking it will be the same, you'll be in for a Surprise!!! 'Spongebob the Movie game' is a little bit Harder then battle for bikini bottom. I was stuck on some stage for days!!! And I'm a Expert gamer, I've played just about every game out there and have been playing video games before the kids on this review board were even born!!!

But my 6 year old had a really hard time driving the crabby patty through the rings and gave up on it. It took me about 10 tries to make it through the rings and 2 weeks to complete the whole game (only playing 1-2 hours every other day). A true game player will complete this game, after throwing the controls on the ground a couple times after doing the same stage 10 times. But for younger players (under age of 8) they'll never get through last 3 stages. I agree that graphics are great, the story line is cute (better then the movie) and it is Very challenging!!! But it is not as exciting as Mermaid Man's layer in Battle for Bikini Bottom.

If you haven't played battle for bikini bottom yet, I suggest buying that 1st, it is more fun and easier!!

People have no taste of games but this game rocks!
As I read, many people said that this game sucks, to hard, and computer is better. Well this game rocks!!!!! The people that said that this game is hard are just nuts. I mean when I played it, it was so EASY! If you can't pass the first level, well you just stink at games. This game is the 6th most wanted game on Earth. Besides, in computer, you don't have any violence while for the other systems you have violence. So for you people that say this game stinks, well you stink! This is like the number one game the THQ made since SpongeBob Squarepants:Battle for Bikini Bottom. This is all. Thank You.

Not for kids!!!
Hello! Doesn't THQ have a marketing office? And how can ESRB rate this game for EVERYONE? Probably just because there is no nudity included. It's very surprising someone would conceive a video-game which is based on a character that appeals to kids under 10 that is so hard that even an adult finds difficult, if not impossible, to use it. I bought this game for my kids (5 and 6 years old) both fans of Spongebob. They could not play this game without my help and even so, not beyond level 4. They soon become frustrated and lost interest in the game after half an hour of playing it, as they got stuck with some impossible obstacle to overcome. What is the point of having a game who's based on a popular kid's character and that kids can't play? Instructions found in the booklet annexed to the game are confusing and poorly written. They're of no help at all. When I compare this game to others available for Playstation 2 (ie. Gran Turismo 3) that are truly masterpieces and quite enjoyable, I cannot but advise against buying this particular Spongebob title. ... Read more

Somewhat of a letdown :(
Unfortunately, this game does not live up to the original. The original game featured well known songs that were reimagined to fit in well with the drums. There were few songs that I didn't like and have fun playing with.

The tracks on the sequel are unimaginative and bland. They all sound the same. It's about impossible to discern what song it is in song selection mode if you don't know it from the song title because the introductions to all the songs sound the same.

In the original game, the songs were a bit different than the original including original vocal stylings and the music was arranged to sound cool accompanied by bongos. The new songs are just standard arrangements with substandard vocalists.

On a positive note, the mini games are much improved and more fun to play. ... Read more

WARNING!!! Doesn't work with new GameCubes!!!
GameCubes with model DOL-101 or newer (since November 2004; no digital out) WILL NOT WORK with the AR out of the box.After I complained to Datel that the GameCube said it couldn't read the disc they responded to me telling me to look at there FAQ site ([...], where they added an entry (it was NOT there when I looked earlier) to the top explaining that if you send in the disc they'll mail you a new one with an upgrade.They say that this is the ONLY way to get the upgraded disc.My concern was that it didn't work once, and by the time a replacement would get to me I'd be out of time for a return if it didn't work again.I emailed them again (the way they instruct you to) voicing this concern and they did not email me back (it's been a week).I returned the AR for a refund rather than risk sending it to Datel and I will not purchase an AR again unless I get the upgraded disc WITH my initial purchase.I advise others to do the same.Caveat emptor!

Datel never fails to disappoint in some way or another
Frankly, I am suprise by the lack of disappointed buyers of this software. This is the second Action Replay I've purchased from Datel (the other being the Action Replay Max for PS2) and this is also the second time I am supremely disappointed.

First, I'll say the good things. This Action Replay is tremendously more friendly than the ARMAX for my PS2. While it is impossible to enter new games and codes for it on the ARMAX (or hell, even codes for games that are already there), it is very much easy to do so on the GameCube AR. The second is that the interface allows for easy accesss.

And that's pretty much it. That's all the good things I can say about this package. My first problem with this AR is that there is no easy way to enter codes. If you make a mistake, then you have to use the C-stick to go back, but the damn thing moves ridiculous fast. The other problem is that if you hold A, then the letter you inputted will repeat itself. Why put this in? There is no code to which this would be a useful feature.

Finally, my second and worst gripe is that there is no convient way to input codes. I am NOT one of those guys who buys a cheating device and is content with the codes already there. I am an avid gamer who looks for the best possible codes (usually Debug codes), so I am constantly typing codes in. The problem here is that some of the best codes are extremely long. The Resident Evil Inventory Editor code was 32 line long and it nearly killed me to put it in.

Next, the other problem is with the included memory card. It is completely unstable. When I first used the AR, I was so happy that putting cheats in actually worked that I made the horrible mistake of forgetting that I was dealing with Datel. By forgettng this, I had also forgotten to back up all the cheats I created. So what happens? The memory card gets messed up and I had to reformat it, thus losing all my cheats, including the 32 line RE code. I kept in mind what happened and decided to re-input codes for SSB:M (debug codes, of course). What happened? I forgot I was dealing with Datel again. What I was going to do was backup the codes after I was done inputting it. Well, when I was done, I immediately turned off the GameCube and turned it back on with the lid opened so I can backup on two other memory cards. My day was completely ruined when I discovered that the Action Replay memory card needed reformatting again.

Finally, my last gripe is that Datel has the worst code hackers ever. They have simple codes like infinite health, unlock everything, and stuff like that, but nothing truly special. By special, I mean codes like the Debug code. For those of you who don't know, debug codes allows you to have completely control over a game. For example, in Super Smash Brothers: Melee, you could use a debug code to play six players melee. And here is where the problems lies. You will NEVER see Datel input codes like that. This is why I recommend people to go to other Action Replay code sites, such as GSCentral or Action Replay Central. Don't bother using Datel's website, it is slow and useless.

Overall, Datel is probably content with what it has because it has a completely monopoly over the cheating device market on the GameCube. There is no CodeBreaker here to challenge its dominance. GameCube players are stuck. Datel also released the Action Replay MAX for GameCube (most people don't know this) on their website, but it sucks just as much as this one. The only difference is that it has newer codes.

I honestly wish that Pelican would release their awesome CodeBreaker device on the GameCube, but currently, there is no plans for that. I recommend the Action Replay ONLY because it is an excellent device to bring out the most out in any game, but I also recommend getting the MAX drive with it. The MAX drive will update your cheats quickly. Of course, this product is also made by Datel, so who knows? Not to mention it is also wildly expensive. If you plan on not buying the MAX Drive, then for the sake of your sanity, save your cheats on a regular memory card!

This is a good bad item.

The best racing game 4 GBA
This is the sweetest game! You can earn cool cars as you advance through the levels! The levels are challenging, fun, and exciting! If you are a racing fan who is disopointed with GBA's poor graphics for their race car games try this out.
The graphics aren't as good as PC but for GBA they are good.

No Music?
I love this game--the first I bought with my GBA SP. Regarding car believability, compare to GT Advance 3 Pro Concept which has the worst sprite-like autos. I swear I can see the image jerk when I go into a turn on that game. You wont have that problem here. And the environments can be great--half the fun of a good rally game.
One thing, and I may have just not found it, but one registered racer can run a track in championship mode and when the times are displayed the times of the other players who have played that track ARE NOT shown. there may be a way to access these time rankings but I havent seen it yet.
Another thing: There is no music in my cart except while Im preparing for a race. No music while Im racing. Is this just an anomaly with my cart? Surely this isnt right?

Need for speed underground is a good racing game as well as a creative game because you can customize certain cars and you can unlock cars that already have been customized to be unlocked. Gameplay = 10
There is nothing more important than gameplay, and this games hits the mark. I found myself feeling like a street racer, and the intense gameplay added to this.This game was masterful in the gameplay department.

There was a sense of speed in the game, and the cars and the city looked great. Every track was fun and the look was credible. Graphics rate a 10.

This was just a fun game. Serious at times because I love to win!It was a super fun game.

The Game Boy platform (which includes the original unit, the Game Boy Pocket, and the Game Boy Color) came to market when most video game consoles had a life expectancy of just a few years. More than a decade later, the system is still going strong. How did the Game Boy successfully compete--and in some cases bury--an onslaught of faster, more powerful handheld and home console systems? Let us count the ways: affordability, a huge library of games that consistently made the most of the hardware's limitations, smart power management that extended battery life, and uncluttered controls. But perhaps it was the system's ultraportable design that allowed devotees to play video games around their schedule, making it the must-have system for kids and adults alike.

Now the Game Boy Advance (or GBA as people are already calling it) comes to us with power that would have been unthinkable back in the day. The portable's 32-bit RISC CPU runs circles around the former's 8-bit workhorse, allowing it to process program instructions much faster. What that means to everyday gamers is more intricate visuals, more simultaneous movement on the screen, and better sound. In fact, the often-annoying beeps and boops of old-school Game Boy titles are being replaced with digitized stereo sound. The extra processing muscle also means you can even network up to four Game Boy Advance units together, via the communication cable, for multiplayer fun off of one shared cartridge. Only two Game Boy Color units could link together, and each unit had to have its own copy of the game.

What's not being replaced, however, is the wide selection of Game Boy games. Because the Game Boy Advance system is backward-compatible, it will play its own line of colorful games--including such launch titles as Super Mario Advance, F-Zero: Maximum Velocity, Army Men Advance, High Heat Major League Baseball 2002, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, and Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2--as well as all of the monochrome and color games that have already been released for the previous Game Boy systems (nearly 500 in total). Players can view the older games in their smaller, originally square dimensions, or, with the touch of the shoulder button, expand the game to fit the GBA's larger screen. We tried enlarging the screen on a Game Boy Color edition of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and found that Mr. Hawk was much easier to see.

When you first pick up the system, you'll be amazed at how lightweight it is. At fewer than 5 ounces and a little larger than a deck of playing cards, the system easily fits into a shirt pocket without any sag. The GBA's wider shape fits better into a wider range of hands. The former design too often pushed the left and right thumb knuckles together during gameplay. The new layout should be comfortable for all ages, and the center screen orientation makes it easy to see.

Game Boy Color owners will find the GBA's larger screen somewhat darker than they're used to, but that's because the screen is outfitted with antiglare technology. Like the old Game Boy Color, the color LCD is not backlit, so you need pretty good light to play by. Unlike that system, though, you won't be craning your neck and tilting the unit to see around the hot-spot reflection of the light bulb in your screen.

But you'll also notice the graphics. Sporting what's basically a redesigned SNES technology, you'll see things on the GBA that the big consoles do, such as scaling (making objects larger or smaller) and rotation effects--technological advances that will affect the look of everything from crossing a finish line to throwing a touchdown pass to crawling through a dungeon.

Some might argue that Nintendo could have tried to put even more power into this Game Boy Advance. After all, the 32-bit video game had its heyday more than five years ago. Perhaps, but after handling this new handheld, we're inclined to think that Nintendo wisely struck a balance between size, price, and power consumption. What Year do we Live in?!
The Advance has no backlight. You would think after Color, they would've put in a backlight. Visibility is horrible even in good lighting. Seriously, what decade do we live in? Get an SP, stay away from this one.

GBA = Portable Fun!
I bought this console on April/May with Yu-Gi-Oh! WorldWide Edition (SDD). This will entertain you for hours without knowing what time it is at all. You can use it anywhere. At home, at hopitals, during traveling, and lots more.The screen is a little more than 2 1/2 inches. The buttons look like the GCN only without the X, Y, Z, CAMERA, AND THE ANALOG feature. All you have are the A, B, SELECT, START L, R, and the Game Pad. You insert the game cartridge on the back of the console. I have to admit one thing, the graphics are not like the PS1, GCN, ETC. It only produces about 65,000 colors at the same time. But when you are bored on the go you won't mind the graphics. All you will care about is how much fun it is. The games are very expensive. They cost $30.00! With that you get 2 PSone games and they have better graphics. So make sure that if you are buying this console, read the online reviews before you buy the game. Frustrating for the under 7 crowd
My children got Finding Nemo and Rugrats All Grown-up both for Christmas.While the Finding Nemo game is more exciting, and has better graphic, they have never made it past level 2. The best feature on the Rugrats All Grown-up is the map showing your location and what you are trying to locate.It gives the kids a shot at accomplishing the task. The Finding Nemo could use this feature.The kids have stuck with Finding Nemo more than the Rugrats All Grown-up game but do voice their frustation.

Too hard for Kids!!
I got this for my daughter who is 6 and the game is absurdley difficult. Most of the levels don't even explain what you are supposed to do or why. I am a good gamer and I just gave up trying to help her as each level is increasingly difficult and annoying, making you start from the beginning every time.

Not nearly as good as Nascar Thunder 2004
Its good that they added the featherlites,trucks and busch series,but they took away too much from the actual racing.You dont get all the cool pre-race stuff,the cars do not handle worth a crap and the audio for this game is terrible.The cars sound like electric weed wackers(for real)In the 2004 game they sound like real cars.Ive had Nascar 2005 for about 7 or 8 months now and have played it about 10 times, I play Nascar Thunder 2004 about everyday.I really hope EA Sports fixes this for the 2006 version

Fun Game
I rented this once and thought this was probally over all my favorite game i had ever played.

SWEEEEEET! Best racing game ever!
I am a huge NASCAR fan. I follow all three major series and watch them on TV every week. I go to Nextel Cup races almost every year. And, to top it off, I play the video games non-stop (or so it seems.) I own NASCAR '99 for N64, NASCAR Thunder 2003 for GameCube and now 2005: Chase for the Cup. 2005 beats the others by a long shot. The variety of game modes and series is fantastic, as is the gameplay.

MODES

The main mode of CFTC is its all-new Fight to the Top mode. In this mode, you can be either an owner or driver as you make your way from the lower divisions of NASCAR all the way to the Nextel Cup Series. You can receive contracts (even to the point of replacing Jeff Gordon as driver of the 24 car)and battle the best along the way. My brother is currently has a Fight to the Top going, and from what I can see, it's AWESOME!

Another great mode is Chase for the Cup mode, where you pick your starting position in the Chase for the Nextel Cup and race the final 10 races of the season. I played this mode once, and, although it was pretty challenging, I won the championship! The final main mode is Race Now, or Single Race. This is the one that I play most often.

SERIES

Production Cars: In Production Car racing, you can choose from about 10 types of street cars to race on NASCAR tracks. With these cars, you race as Cup drivers. The only problem with the mode is that these cars are not very good on speedways- they are MUCH better on road courses.

Modifieds: These cars have special offset wheels to improve cornering speeds. Problem: The only available drivers are made-up ones.

Trucks: The slogan Tough Trucks, Tough Racing says it all. These babies are bad to the bone. Too bad there are several drivers missing. Where's Ted Musgrave or Dennis Setzer?

Busch Series: This is the "minor leagues" of NASCAR racing. You race in cars that are pretty much identical to Cup cars, except they have less powerful engines. Only problem: 2004 series champion, Martin Truex Jr, is missing! Dang!

Cup Series: This is it. The Cup Series. You're finally here. The most horsepower of anything in the game. The most adrenaline. The most everything. Yay! But how did they leave out 2004 Chase driver Jeremy Mayfield and veteran Ken Schrader?

Aside from these missing drivers, Chase for the Cup is a fantastic racing game, guaranteed to provide countless hours of bumpin', rubbin', and bangin'. And, to all those who think that Pocono was left out, you're wrong! You have to UNLOCK it.

Sonic Heroes
Sonic teams up with Knuckles, Tails and nine other characters from Sega's classic Sonic universe in a new take on platforming action in Sonic Heroes for PlayStation 2, GameCube, and Xbox. Utilize the abilities of three different characters in order to complete levels by switching on the fly. Four teams of three characters: Team Sonic, Team Dark, Team Chaotix, and Team Rose race through specially designed levels that require logical character switching. Level designs promote replay value by adding multiple paths and missions. New Sonic story is told through cinematic pre-rendered movies between levels.

Sonic the Hedgehog, like Nintendo's fat, Italian plumber, has been around forever. He blasted through loops and sped through corkscrews on Sega's 16-bit Genesis console and has delighted hordes of fans ever since. But not everybody's been happy with the mascot's transition to 3D. Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 for Dreamcast (both of which were later ported to GameCube) proved to be fast and pretty, but also lacked polish. Drawbacks included play styles with less emphasis on raw speed and more on exploration; clunky, underdeveloped camera systems and in-game bugs and glitches.


There is a light beginning to glimmer at the end of this tunnel though. After a hiatus, Sega and Sonic Team are back with an original new installment in the Sonic franchise. Sonic Heroes has gone back to the roots of the franchise in many ways, the most important of which relates to level design. The worlds that Sonic zips through are ultra-entertaining, unpredictable thrill rides. The game is faster than its Dreamcast ancestors and it's a lot prettier too. Plus, there's an entirely new play dynamic - the ability to switch between three characters in-game - which mixes up the gameplay styles in the level as opposed to the previous Sonic titles which split the levels between the different characters. The result is a more interesting and fun game to play.
Still some of the same old problems, many of them technical, are back for one more round and these again put a dent in the complete product. Even though the series has gotten further than before, it still has a long way to go.

Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, were two seriously flawed 3D outings that did little to further the franchise. But Sonic Heroes is a step in the right direction to boost the speed of the game and tweak the platformer sections. Some of the stages are so fast, unpredictable, and completely chaotic, like a rollercoaster thrill-ride. During these levels where the teams are zooming along and tearing through corkscrews that Sonic Heroes is everything Sonic fans could hope for. If only the PS2 version could handle it at a full 60 fps it would be truly approaching true Sonic-ness.

When it was time to slow down and take care of business with the battle or exploration sections, the ability to swap mascots is one small step for Sonic and one giant leap for the series, but plenty of other problems still get in the way. Basically, the camera is a dog that constantly runs the wrong way on you, forcing you to yank the leash to get it under control. If you don't get a handle on it, expect plenty of falls off of edges.

Sonic Heroes clocks in at a short 14 levels that can be finished in a couple hours the first time through. Playing through as other teams provides some variation, but with no actual change in the level design. When it comes down to it, Sonic Team is inching closer to getting Sonic to work right in 3D, but there is still plenty of work to be done. In no way does Sonic Heroes push the platformer genre forward. It's really just getting ever so much closer to being a decent game.

lots of fun, but a hard game
The last time i've played sonic was years ago, on my megadrive...
this game is about the same concept of fast running, collecting rings, going through loops and jumping like insane... but here you get to choose between 4 teams of 3 characters which are pretty different by gameplay, but the levels are about the same, which makes it pretty boring once you finished with 1 team...
the controlls are brilliant... team action at it's peak, one player for speed, one for flying and one for attacking, the only real problem i had with this game was the fact that you have limite lives... the game is very hard at some points, and it's very very easy to lose, and once you lose all you're lives, you need to start from the begining, which gets VERY frustrated and make the game harder then it is, when it's suppose to be a kids game.

i do recommend sonic heroes, it's very good, very colorfull and you'll have lots of fun with it, just know that it's not exactly a rollercoaster ride, which was pretty much what i expected ... Read more

Difficult,visually.
The first game we played on Gamecube was Spongebob, Battle for Bikini Bottom.We absolutely loved it and my daughter plays it over and over.Thinking Shrek 2 would be similar, we rented it.It's very hard to control the c-stick and it kept zooming in and out and wouldn't rotate the camera except for certain times.The charactors were very distant and even if we used the c-stick to zoom in, it still wasn't close enough.It's the same feeling as needing to put eyeglasses on to see something more clearly! Another aspect we didn't like was the four charactors are always together and you would lose track of which one was the main charactor.Maybe we're spoiled because the c-stick on Spongebob allowed you to rotate in every direction to see what was around you and the graphics were so good you could see facial expressions.It's surprising all the reviews are so good because our impression was completely opposite.

A Fun Game But......
...the graphics are pretty imbarasing.

The object of the game is to get snapshots and you get these snapshots by completing missions, levels, and Hero Times (a specific mission were you use one character). Some of the levels are fun, like the Far, Far, Away level(it has a Grand Theft Auto Theme).

I give the graphics a 3/5 (I think they should have done a better job on the main characters), audio 4/5, gameplay 4.5/5, fun a 4.5/5, and an overall of 3/5.

Amazing
I think this game is great. Me and my friend got this game and we both love it. We both started out as an archer and even though my friend got it 5 months beore me. He is only at fairy spring and has only done 1 side quest I am at Hotshek volcano and have done all the side quests up to that point besides the two hidden dungeons. It has only one con. The cons are that important conversasions you have to wait. I have heard that people dislike the storyline but I don't really think its bad and if I did I wouldn't care. I have never played the first game but that does not make a diffrence.

Graphics 9 out of 10 Pretty good. The soul powers are awsome.

Gameplay 10 out of 10 The controls are very easy to understand.

Replayabitlity Limitless You have 9 characters (8 normal one secret)that are customizable in abot a million ways each.

I really love this game

A portable diablo game.
This game is good for people who most likely to spend your hours hack and slashin' enemies and baddies, and love to see your character level up. Why I said this is a portable Diablo game, was because they have over 100 generated items, it's really fun to see your equip get stronger and stronger as you buy weapons/armor from the stores. If you are a gamer who likes a good storyline, I recommend you don't buy this, because this has a crappy story, you will not enjoy it, dialogs are slow, but if you are a gamer who likes to play, not caring about the story, this game is for you, 18 levels to beat up baddies, it can get repetitive going to the same dungeons with the dialog and all. I recommend this game to most people.

I was getting my GBA and decided to pick this up as my first game.I hadn't played the first one and didn't know anything about it.But then I started playing it and loved it.The story starts out with your character going to some tournement but the king ends up sending you on a journey to save the princess.Then once youv'e gone through a few levels and save the princess the story goes on.One complaint I have is once you load a save file and forget to save again your all the way at the begining of the dungeon again.If this happens you get more and more experience but you have to play the level again and it makes the bosses way to easy.I havnet really listened to the music cause I keep the sound off but when I did hear the music it's not that bad.This game is great so if you like hack n slash games this game is a good on to have.

Great
First of all, let my point out that mine came with demos of crimson skies and mech assault and the full version of xbox classic arcade.Mine was new in the certified microsoft box, etc.Maybe they just updated the games.

Anyways, it is in my opinion a better deal to buy the 12-month pack, but I decided on the 3-month just because I've got the 2-month trial already and didn't want 14 months built up.

In the box:There's the communicator headset, a 3-month subscription card, the game discs, and several manuals on connecting to xbox live.

The communicator:Purely awesome.I have read many people's comments saying that it breaks at the little clip.I grant it that the clip is thin and could potentially break easily, but it is not uber fragile.Don't be afraid to put it on.The headset weighs next to nothing and is really comfortable.It has great outgoing voice quality and great sound quality through the speaker.
