Editorial Review

The pyramid-shaped Grip and Grab Rattle is made of sturdy, safety-tested plastic tubes in bright colors that are connected by clear plastic spheres. Each sphere contains a red bead, smaller beads move freely through the tubes when the rattle is shaken. So what's the big deal? You'll have to ask a baby. For some reason, they love this thing--won't put it down. They'll go to sleep to the sound of it being gently shaken in front of them, or will miraculously be distracted from the car-seat fussies. (Mini van dealers should include the Grip and Grab as a standard feature).

This Lamaze rattle also provides learning opportunities for babies, almost from birth. The tubes are about the diameter of an adult finger--perfect for grabbing with tiny hands, and later, for chomping with tiny gums and teeth. Early lessons in cause and effect and hand- eye coordination are taught when baby moves and the rattle shakes. Included in the packaging is a booklet about infant development and creative ideas on how to use the toy, as well as a U.S. lifetime warranty. Winner of several national awards, including a National Parenting Center Seal of Approval and a National Parenting Publications Honors Award. --Katherine Ferguson ... Read more

what stimulation this rattle offers. our munchkin loves shaking it and watching all of the colored balls move from one end to the other. we take it everywhere, great rattle!

5-0 out of 5 stars Just Amazing
I have 2 daughters. One 3 and the other 5 months and both of them were and are captivated by this contraption. The 5 month old loves the sound the beads make and can literally watch them for an hour. I highly reccomend this toy to any first time mother or expecting mom. Put it on your List!!!!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars It's all about the noise!
Who cares if this toy encourages visual development or independent play? As far as my baby is concerned this toy Makes Noise. Lots of it. In fact, I think that if she'd learned the war-cry of the Rohirrim, she'd be doing that to accompany the violent shaking she gives the rattle. Raaaaarhhhhh. It's a bit like a one-six-month-old Maurauding Horde and has been for weeks. This rattle is the business. And why? Because It's Louder than all the other (wussy) rattles. Raaaarhhhh! ... Read more

Editorial Review

This colorful car collection develops motor skills and hand-eye coordination while your child makes important discoveries about sorting and strategy. There are four vehicles, numbered 1 through 4, of graduatedsizes: a rattling green sports car, a blue police car with a revolving roof light, a yellow school bus with an opening sunroof, and a red fire truck with an adjustable clicking ladder. The vehicles can be rolledacross the floor, and then stacked--ever so carefully--atop each other, and finally all nested inside the fire truck. Vehicles only nest or stack completely when arranged in proper order of size and number. Made of sturdy plastic, these toys can be dipped in warm sudsy water for easy cleaning. --Kathryn Gustafson ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Trucks!
We bought these trucks for our 15 mo. old daughter and 4 mo. old son- We love them! They are nesting which is fun for our daughter to look underneath the trucks to find the next one or they can stack one on top of the other to make a tower.Perfect first trucks! And they aren't too big- a perfect size!

4-0 out of 5 stars MOMMY loves this toy.
I saw these on sale at a discount store and couldn't pass up the price. I bought them for my 8 month old daughter. She plays with them frequently. I like them because we can play peek-a-boo by putting items underneath them. Because they are built open underneath, she can grab them easy. She likes the activities on each little car. They also pack very easily for taking some toys out of the house because they nest. I know that she is going to really play with these for years. When we take them places, other kids are very attracted to them. One little boy, age 2, played with them for 30 minutes in the church nursery, stacking them and rolling them. Another boy was 5 years old and he was really into stacking them and identifying the numbers on them. My only concern is that the wheels are held on by a plastic pins and I'm hoping that they don't break. However, you can usually count on FP to make toys that last. My husband is happy because he didn't want me to get one more thing that takes batteries and makes noise!

5-0 out of 5 stars Maybe the perfect toy
This toy is terrific. It stacks, rolls, and the cars fit inside each other neatly. The three largest cars have a simple moving part on top; the smalles car rattles. No noises, no batteries.Just simple activities a young child can do his or herself. It's marvelously elegant. ... Read more

Think mirrors have to be kept well away from baby? Think again: This crib toy is a flexible plastic mirror with padded sides that will safely fascinate at any age. The mirror with its padded frame is ten inches by eight inches (visible mirror area: 7.5 by 5.5 inches), and attaches with two Velcro straps to a triangular foam cushion. It’s easy to use the cushion as a stand, or detach the mirror and hang it solo on the side of a crib. --Richard Farr ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The base turned out to be very interesting
The mirror itself is not unique but the base turned out to be very fascinating!
We dettached the mirror and put it on our baby's crib.He likes to look at his face when he wakes up.
With the base he plays alot (he is now 6 months old) holding it with both hands and feet.He also likes to stand while we are holding him and lean forward to pick up toys - one of his favorite being this base.
Another fascinating thing on the base is the tag itself.(We didn't know that and unfortunately cut off all tags from all the other toys but kept this one since it was easing the grabbing.)Our son is even trying to "pincer grasp" the tag.

5-0 out of 5 stars Makes tummy time easier
My baby hated to be on her tummy, but all nurses insist it is critical in baby development.I would put this inchworm under her elbows and prop her up on it and she was much more comfortable.I also wrap it around her head as a head rest in her car seat. It's her most-used toy.She loves the colors and sounds it makes.

3-0 out of 5 stars my son isn't very interested
My son has had this toy since he was 3 months old and has never been very interested in it.( he is now 9 months) You can barely hear the music it plays. That is the only feature I really don't like about this toy.

3-0 out of 5 stars She's just not interested!
This is a cute toy, but our 6 month old has yet to be interested in it.Its large size makes it difficult to hold for small babies.I know it's gotten many good reviews, so I'll keep trying... just know that very young babies may not get much use out of it! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Daddy likes this too....
My son Jacob has this toy and I probably enjoy it more than him. It's a musical instrument! It's a toy! It's both!I can enjoy playing "Mary had a little lamb" while he drools on it.(Well, he is 2.)Definitely a good purchase.

3-0 out of 5 stars Very cute, but some room for improvement
Like other reviewers have noted, it's too hard for a baby to use, and definitely too heavy for a small child to pick up, but my 4-month old really likes to sit in my lap while I play it for him. It's awfully cute, and would be adorable even if it wasn't a musical toy. However, I nearly sent it back at first because one or two of the notes (legs) are tougher to get a sound out of (the higher notes). The yellow leg on ours has to be squeezed *just right* in order to sound the note, and even at that, it squeaks rather weakly. I also wish it had come with instructions for playing more than 2 songs. All in all, it's a cute toy.

5-0 out of 5 stars So cute!
My daughter is 5 months old, and loves her octopus. She can't squeeze the legs to make music yet, but if we put it by her feet, she can kick to get the sounds going, and she laughs when she does it.She loves to hug it and stares at the colors-she also smiles at the happy face on the octopus. She cracks up when we make music with the legs...even though she can't play with it by herself, it's a great bonding toy for us to play with together. ... Editorial Review

Babies will get a real physical and mental workout with this play gym. It's pretty much like all of the other models out there, but its stand-out is its versatility and diversity of features for infants at all stages. A kicking gym for infants is made of attractive objects than spin, light up, and make sounds with each tiny foot-fall. A Ferris wheel loaded with colorful balls spins overhead to create additional interest. Babies who can sit up can spin the Ferris wheel themselves, and watch it release the five balls down a tunneled ramp and out the side of the gym. This in turn sets off music and lights as the balls zip past noisy, spinning obstacles. It's not just fun and games, though: the activities are designed to develop motor skills, cognitive learning, and stimulation of the senses.Diane Beall ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Safty problem
This toy looked so great in the store, but we were not happy once we got it home.We read the box and it was misleading. The kick pad is just a plastic plate with a sticker on it.You can hit this toy anyplace and it will start to go.We had to hit it very hard to make it work at all and a young baby would more likely push it away than start it.The sounds are not the most plesent it's like one of those toys grandparents would buy to get back at their kids.It show the toys moving but it's not easy enough for a child to do even an older one and the balls that come off to roll down the ramp we could barly get off.I would expect there to be a nob or button to push to make them come off and roll down. This toy realy only does one thing the rest it like getting plastic balls. My son was 2 months old when we got it a little young for him then and he hated it.He would rather be on the floor with out a toy than that one, maybe the sounds :).he is now almost 4 months old and he plays with it for a very long time, I was surprised.
HOWEVER PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE TOY MAY NOT BE SAFE.THE BAR THAT YOU CAN LOWER FOR AN OLDER CHILD TO PLAY SITTING UP MOVES,IT WOULD BE VERY EASY FOR A CHILD TO GET THEIR FINGERS SMASHED.THE BOTTONS YOU USE TO LOWER THE BAR STICK OUT AND THERE IS A GAP BETWEEN IT AND THE BLUE BOTTOM WHEN THE RED BAR IS UP.IT CAN VERY EASILY ROCK FORWARD AND CATCH EVEN MY FINGER, MY SON CAN'T QUITE REACH IT BUT IT WON'T BE LONG AND AT SOME POINT HE COULD ROLL OVER TO IT.I found that putting a boppy pillow under him and the toy up to a wall keeps him from pushing away from the toy and his hands away from the bottons works for now.I would be watching while your child plays with this one.

1-0 out of 5 stars skip it
We received this item as a gift, fortunately there was a gift receipt with it. The music, even on its lowest setting, is too loud, our baby seemed put off by it. Also, the hanging parts were too high for him to kick. The flashing lights didn't seem to interest him either. He lost interest in about 5 minutes and looked a bit irritated. Stick to a product like the Baby Einstein Play Gym, we have that and he's wild about it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful toy for my3 month old
We did find that the toy was a little high for a baby to play with so we improvised and sat him in his bouncy chair to play with it.He is so happy when he sits in his chair and playsthat he will sit there for an hour or two if we let him.He also likes to lay on his back on the floor and play with it but he likes sitting in the chair much better. So I would recommend this product to anyone. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars A Big Hit With Our Baby!A Favorite of Mom's Too.
We got this toy about 6 wks ago when my youngest son first started to pull himself up on things and it as been a favorite ever since.I love seeing his face when he climbs up on it!There are two settings, music and ABC's, so there are a lot of different songs to enjoy. The objects on top are really cute - it's a sort of picnic theme with snacks around a big soup bowl that spins like a steering wheel - very fun.The two sound level settings are also perfect: the low is not too low and the high is not too high - it's just enough to adjust for different noise levels in the room. The legs snap on and off quickly and easily, so in a few seconds I can convert it from a sitting toy to a standing toy (great when he was standing with less stability - I could set it down on the floor when I couldn't sit there to 'spot' him in the standing position). Both me and my preschooler love to play with him on it!

4-0 out of 5 stars great toy...worth the money
I bought this toy for my son when he was 8 months old. He plays with it every day! I love the numerous melodies it plays, because you don't get tired of hearing the same song over and over. He knows how to pull the levers, flip the page, and dances along when the music plays. I highly recommend this toy.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good, but could definitely use some improvements
My daughter got this at 7 months, and loved it right from the beginning. She's 12 months now, and isn't QUITE as interested, but she definitely still plays with it.So overall I think it's a pretty good toy for a baby or toddler, but I do have a few problems with it.

First, it's very bulky. It takes up quite a bit of floor space, and can't really be easily stored anywhere other than the floor unless you remove the legs.

Then, if the legs ARE removed, you've got to find a place for them.It would be much better if the legs could be folded under.Or even if they could be stacked and stored together, but they can't.

Now, I know that other activity tables are just as bulky, but many of them are more versatile.Like, the top can be flipped over and there's a Lego building table or a writing surface underneath. This thing pretty much just has buttons and lights and noises, so once your baby bores of that, you've just got a noisy, bulky thing that's tough to store.

So, while this isn't bad, I DO think there are better activity tables out there. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great toy!!!
I think this toy is probably one of the favorites out of all of my sons toys. He is 8 months now and he loves to shake them and bang them on things. When he was younger, we'd add it to our gymni or hold it up for him to kick and bat. He didn't care much for the noise when he was younger, but now he is beginning to appreciate it. I, personally, love the sound. They sound like real wind chimes, and they aren't too loud or too soft. I hang it on the wall in my baby's room when he isn't playing with it, cuz it really does have a nice look to it. A must have for any new parent!

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect for very young babies
I wanted a toy to hang from my month-old daughter's play gym.The toys she already had hanging there gave her stuff to look at, but at her young age, not much to actually do.All she could really manage was to bat the toys around, and none made any noise when she did this.I bought the wind chime hoping to give her at least some sort of "reward" for her batting efforts.I wasn't disappointed! The chime rings with the slightest touch, and the sound is sweet and melodious - I don't get tired of hearing it (and neither, it seems, does my daughter). It *is* a little expensive at about $10 compared to other hanging toys, which is why I haven't yet invested in another one to hang on her carseat/stroller.However, the price is really the only downside I've found - overall, this is a fabulous toy for even the smallest of babies.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Toy for a Baby Gym
This was by FAR my daughter's favorite toy on her baby gym.The sound is very pleasant and soothing, the colors are bright, and she loved chewing on the little birds and flower. It's also very durable, because she has chewed on it a lot, and it still practically looks new.

Once she outgrew the baby gym, we used some link-a-doos to hang it over her crib, and she still plays with it.

I have to admit I love it, too.She has way too many toys that make annoying electronic sounds (in spite of my pleas to the grandparents not to buy her anything else that requires batteries), so the baby chimes are a refreshing change. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Wiggles and giggles
My son is now 4 months old and got this item when he was months old. This toy has always been around him. From crib to rocker to carseat. He loves the brite colors and little extra noises that hang off of it. This was the first toy to make him giggle out loud! Placing it on his lap in his rocker and playing the music he has learned to do a little wiggle dance to the music and giggle when he is able to activate the toy on his own. When we get ready for our travels out and about he squeels with delite when its placed in his carseat with him. Dont know what i would do with out this cute toy. I hope everyone else has had or will have enjoyable experences with this as we have

My daughter also has the little touch leap pad and loves it!

5-0 out of 5 stars We'd be lost without this!
I bought this toy for my son when he was three months old as a Hanuakkah present.I thought it was neat looking but I'll admit that I bought it on a whim without knowing if it was something he would even like.Needless to say, my son LOVES this toy! It's small enough that you can easily toss it into a diaper bag and take it out with you, and there are enough activities to keep babies occpied for a while.Even though my husband and I are starting to get sick of some of the sound effects, this is one of the few toys we have that can placate the baby when he is fussing. He loves the colors and the variety of sounds and music. This is one "impulse buy" that I am glad I made. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Choking hazard
The nose is glued and sewn on, but my baby still managed to chew it off.I found it hanging by a thread from it's face one day.So, cut off the nose before giving it to your baby, or never leave your baby alone with it once teething starts.

Too bad about the nose because my baby loves his puppytunes.

1-0 out of 5 stars Dangerous toy - has been taken off the market in Denmark !
"Puppytunes" contains phthalates and has been taken off the market in Denmark!

The Danish environmental protection agency (Danish ministry of the Environment) also found the "multi sensory clutch cube" from Lamaze to contain TCEP and it has also been taken off the market.

TCEP can cause cancer and damage to the kidneys, and children should not be in contact with it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great toy!
I got this toy for my twin sons when they were about 3 months old, now they are 20 months and still love him! He attatches great to the front bar of my Twin Savvy. He makes alot of noises and still keeps them occupied. WE do have to rotate toys now that the twins are older and get bored easily, but Pupsqueak is a favorite! He withstands washings and teething, spit ups, and biting, and even attempts to drop him off the stroller! He makes a cute barking noise and he has alot of little things for a baby to teeth on and to look at. My sons like to fiddle with the rings and hold him, they enjoy listening to him and of course "eating" him. I am surprized in the durablility of all my Lamaze toys and I really didnt think that they would last this long! They are just wonderful! My sons get a kick out of pupsqeak and he really is captivating from birth to childhood, a great toy that will last for years!

5-0 out of 5 stars PUPSQUEAK!
Next to BR Max the monkey (also by Lamaze) and Zach's "lovey", pupsqueak is his favorite toy. Zach is four months old and really really loves pupsqueak. We use him to give variety to our son and Zach really loves him! If we make pupsqueak squeak, Zach goes into hysterics, and my 20 month old twins join in! ITs perfect for those really silent times when everyone needs a good laugh. Along with Max, pups (what we call him) is perfect for tummy time. Pups is also great for teathing, once Zach really starts getting those teeth in! Pups attatches well to almost anything, but my boistrus ball of fire gets so angrey and fustrated if we tether him to anything, he likes to hold him. Pups is very durable and has been easily spot cleaned and even in the wash! The colors are great for my son to stare at and he just loves him. I dont know what it is about Lamaze toys but they sure do put alot of thought into them to make them so gosh darn cute and interesting!

5-0 out of 5 stars WOW
I am dumbfounded. I have two sets of twins, 8 Month B/B and 3 year old B/G. ALL of them LOVE this toy. My older twins enjoy making him a "baby". And giving him kisses amd making him do all kinds of tricks. They could do this with almost anytoy, but the ADORE pupsqueak. That Said I have 2 others wich I gave to my boys. They LOOVVVEE him too! I was amazed. I dont know if its just because hes a dog, (their lovey toys are a black and white dog and a brown and white dog, and they love our boxer and golden retriever mix) or maybe its just because PUPSQUEAK ROCKS! They love it when I attatch him to their carseats, They just got "big boy" carseats and pupsqeak of course had to make the transition too! A few weeks ago we went on a 8 hour car ride, I know that my youngest twins stayed quite mostly because they were soooo comfy in their marathons, and because they had... PUPSQUEAK! They had the option to play with other lamaze toys, which they loved but those just dont compare to pupsqueak. They even like him in the crib and in the stroller, a versitile little toy. 4-0 out of 5 stars tireless fun for about $10
My then 6 month old son got this for Christmas and now at a year old is still entertained by this toy.He loves the way it lights up and is very pleased with himself when he gets it to play a song.In the 6 months we've had this toy, with constant use, I have only had to replace the batteries once.It is also not too annoyingly loud, although there is not adjustable volume.

5-0 out of 5 stars We Love It!
We just bought this toy for our 15 mo. old daughter and 4 mo. old son- They love it!Daughter loves to dance with the music, carry the stars around, stack them, dump them, etc.Wish I had bought it sooner!

5-0 out of 5 stars A great inexpensive toy
This toy has been a favorite of my girls since they received it. They like the flashing lights and noise it makes when you take the stars off or put them back on the base. They have enjoyed taking the stars off of the base and even trying to stack them back on. Overall, this little toy has been a great addition for our household. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Get ready to learn shapes, colors, numbers, letters, face parts, animal sounds, and more with Elmo, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, and the rest of the Sesame Street gang! This Sing & Teach Table features tons of buttons and other interactive gadgets that prompt fun lessons for babies and toddlers, all in the wacky, weird voices of the Muppets. (Presumably, tots are familiar enough with the characters to understand all the squeals and growls.) The semi-circular shaped plastic table stands 12 inches high, not counting the waggling Elmo head that presides over the action. Children sit or stand at the table, lifting the Cookie Monster head to learn about "open" and "closed," spinning a drum for the alphabet song, or picking up a cell phone to hear The Count soliloquize about numbers. Bright, cheerful, and noisy--just what the toddler ordered. --Emilie Coulter ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars We LOVE Elmo!
My son LOVED this toy.We bought it for him when he was 8 mos. old and he played with it non stop, that is, until IT stopped working. After only 3 months of use Elmo's head stopped working (that's what my son loved most about the toy was the moving Elmo). So we called Fisher Price3 and of course they would replace the item, but we would have to pay shipping and after paying $35.00 for a toy, I didn't think I should have to pay more for a defective toy.We were dissapointed with Fisher Price's lack of concern about the quality of their products. But for the 3 months it worked, my son loved it!It was his favorite!

4-0 out of 5 stars Cute but Elmo's head quit moving within 3 months
My daugher LOVES this table and still plays with it, but Elmo's head is supposed to move back and forth while the music plays. She got it for Christmas and she was not rough on it at all and by Easter Elmo's head no longer moved.Other than that it still works fine and she still enjoys it.But she takes her little hand and manually moves Elmo's head back and forth and looks at him like "hey, what's wrong?"Overall a cute toy to teach about eyes, nose, ears, etc. and the alphabet.Plus good for when they are first learning to stand up.

5-0 out of 5 stars Twin daughters LOVED it!
My girls ended up with three different playtables that were suppose to be the best. THIS is the one they loved the most! ... Read more

Editorial Review

An innovative toy for those who are way too young to look after real fish, this soft baby toy is a seven by seven-inch "fish bowl" with two transparent side panels containing real water. Small aquatic critters float around in these narrow walls of water. Even more interesting are the four three-inch stuffy toys (a fish, starfish, clam, and crab) that fit into the "bowl" between the watery side panels; the magnifying effect of the sides really makes these toys (and anything else in the bowl) look as if they are under water. The soft base is weighted and makes the bowl quite stable. --Richard Farr ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I Have No Words!
This toy left me in awe.It is probably the greatest invention ever including condoms!

5-0 out of 5 stars My baby daughter loved this!
This was truly my daughter's favorite toy.We got it for her when she was about 7 months old, and she played with it daily until she was about 2 1/2.She loved the bright colors and sounds the different sea creatures made, enjoyed teething on the crab, and when she got a little older, loved the "put in, take out" things she could do with the fishbowl.Although it's a little pricey at $20, for us, this toy was definitely worth the money!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for infants!
My son (7 months) got this as a gift for Christmas...loves it!He loves the clam and the crab.I usually shake up the aquarium before I give it to him and his whole face lights up to see the bubbles and the little plastic sea creatures "swimming" furiously around! I would definitely recommend it for an infant. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Pretty good deal but could be more exciting
I bought these blocks for my daughter when she was 9 months old and she really only enjoys them now. She is 14 months now and is starting to recognize some of the objects inside when I ask her to get them. But be warned bc they're not great for the real younger babies since there are only a few of them that really do anything like beep or rattle. Most of them just have a stationary object that may jiggle a bit. The ones that you can twist yourself are not child-friendly. She can't turn the knob at all so she gets frustrated. My 3 yr old can just do it. He likes them too bc they incorporate the alphabet. Another thing is that the printed letters block some of the objects so it's harder to see inside. I would more so recommend a diff set for a younger baby (6 mos)- like the sound sensations and these for an older child (1 yr). Although you can't beat the price for 26 of these blocks! I also just recently got the Roll-A-Rounds by fisher price as a gift. It's the same concept but a ball vs block. She likes them ALOT!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great value.
This set incorporates a lot of the favorites from other sets packaged in an A to Z learning format.I have been leary of purchasing too many of these blocks for storage reasons so the zippered case is a great bonus.Definitely worth every penny. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice entertainment - only one concern
This is a highly entertaining toy and babies love it. Only concern is possible injury from the parts in the event of an accident.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great stroller toy! My baby loves this!
My 5mo old really loves this toy! It makes his stroller rides more fun. Since he likes to sit forward, he loves to chew on it! It's a Linkadoos toy, so you can add links to it. It plays music too. The bad thing is that you can't turn off the music, so everytime you or baby hit the wing on one of the ducks, the music plays! BUT it's only a few seconds long. Not too annoying.

4-0 out of 5 stars Perfect stroller toy!
This toy is so cute and perfect to keep baby occupied while mommy gets a little shopping done;) The only reason why i gave it four stars was because of the fact that the battery is non-replaceable. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars My son's favorite Toy
My wife and I bought this for my sonm when he was 3 months old. Everytime he would cry, we played the ABC's and it would calm him down. He would cry every time we took it away until he fell asleep. Now that he is 13 months old, he sleeps with it in his crib and it still helps him go to sleep. He holds on to it all night long and when he wakes up in the middle of the night, we hear the ABC's going until he falls back asleep. When he throws it out of his crib, he cries until we give it back to him. We are going to buy another one, just in case something happens to the one he has. It has been a life saver on so many occasions.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful!!!
We bought this toy when my daughter was 6 weeks old.I held it up to show her in the store and she cried when I tried to put it back.We tried substituting the smaller dragon, but she could tell the difference - so Dragon came home with us.At seven months, Dragon still gets smiles. She is just learning to play the music for herself and thinks it's a big treat when an older sibling entertains her with the puppet.Best of all, Dragon has been a lifesaver on long car trips when the music has stopped her crying and even put her to sleep.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great!
I bought this because I liked the reviews so far and was looking for something that had more padding than the other mats out there (we have hard wood floors throughout the house).

I couldn't be more delighted with Lotty! The pillow mat is great and the fun toys are educational and great for our 3 month old.Mamas and Papas toys are always of great quality and this is no different!

5-0 out of 5 stars LOVE THIS MAT
I just bought the Dylan Dog Playmat, basically the same thing, but a dog, for my month and a half old daughter.I brought it home and put her on it, and she loves it.She just kept smiling at the mirror above her head, and she was interested in all of the toys hanging around her. This is really the first thing that she has shown a lot of interest in besides her Pupsqueak toy.I can't wait until she wakes up from her nap to have her on it again.

Besides all that, I think the construction and looks of this mat are the best that I have seen.I love the fact that it is fluffy like a pillow instead of flat on the floor like the others.I would highly reccommend this mat to anyone that I know.

5-0 out of 5 stars Twins loves it

2-0 out of 5 stars Not Impressed
We bought this keyboard for our daughter at Christmas, when she was 6-7 months. She didn't care for it then, even when I was showing her how to use it, and she's a year now and still only hits the top buttons to get it to play by itself.I think it's great that it can play animal sounds or keyboard sounds, but remarkably, one of my biggest complaints is that even on the loud setting it's too quiet! The keyboard sounds are really muted and dull, and I can see why it doesn't hold her interest for more than a few seconds. She's an active kid, and this just isn't for her.I think she's be better off with an old fashioned xylophone to bang on!That will give her results!

5-0 out of 5 stars so far so good....
Now that our tiwns just turned 6 months old we are staring to get more of their bigger toys out. We got thi one out, i think a month and a half ago. We used the music mode a lot then. Now at 6 months old we started to use the animal sounds. And they just love it. They smile and laugh! The music and lights are wonderful and can keep their attention for long periods of time. Most of all our Baby Einstein prodcuts are wonderful and the kids love them! They keys are easy to push and dont stick like some other toys we have. It is a great interactive toy that the kids will be able to use for months.

5-0 out of 5 stars A hit with everyone
I bought this for my toddler who loves music and is delayed in fine motor skills.I feel that the keys are small enough to encourage her to use one finger at a time as opposed to just pounding at it, and the added benefit is that they switch to animal sounds, which she also loves, so it will encourage her more to hit one individual key at a time. She loves the music and flashing lights.I love the fact that the sounds are more muted. It seems so many toys today with sounds blare the noise, this is actually pleasant to listen to and has volume control to boot. The only problem I have is that my 4 yr old keeps stealing it from her little sister to play with it! ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Appears fun to kids at first but is also dangerous
Our one-year-old nephew received the ball popper as a birthday gift this past weekend, and all of the 3 and 4-year-old kids at the party were quickly excited and interested in helping keep the balls moving and flowing. It's looks like a great toy to play with, but it was surprising how many times the balls kept shooting out all over the place. It seems sort of "out-of-control" for a 9-month-old (min. age indicated on the box) to play with.At first we considered getting this toy for a friend's child, since it seemed to be such a hit with all of the kids. However, the most horrifying aspect of this toy is that a child's arm can get caught inside the hard, plastic hose where the balls are supposed to be dropped. The suction from the motor keeps the child's arm trapped inside the hose until the toy is shut off.We witnessed this happen to two of the kids who were playing with the toy. Also, sometimes when the toy was turned on, the air motion reversed for no reason so that the balls didn't pop out like they were supposed to.This didn't really seem to present a problem with the toy; it was just puzzling.I won't be buying the toy for our friend's child because of the suction issue.

4-0 out of 5 stars Lots of fun
My one year old daughter and everyone who ever saw this toy thought it was lots of fun.The ball popping produced many days of laughter. The only problem I found is that sometimes the toy came apart.

5-0 out of 5 stars my kids love this toy!

we got this as a christmas gift for my 2 kids who where 4 months and 17 months at the time . even at 4 months the second i turned it on he was smiling and cooing he loves it. and my daughter loves to play with all the time its her most favorite toy she plays with all the time. also the handle is very easy for her to push down by herself and after a month of me showing her she can do it all by her self.now hes 8 months and she 21 they really love it he plays with it all the time. the only problem is i need to getv another one because they are fighting over it and she takes it fom him all the time! ...
