Editorial Review

Be it a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away or right here at home in the 21st century, Mr. Potato Head never fails to reinvent himself. For generations this spectacular spud has wowed us all with his ability to keep up with the times. Now he throws us all for a loop once again to reveal that even he has a Dark Side, taking up the role of the most menacing movie villains of all times: Darth Vader. Donning the trademark black helmet, mask and cape, our favorite tuber wields the infamous red lightsaber to become his own Darth Tater. Of course you’ll still find all the classic accessories like the googly eyes, red nose, and silly tongue we’ve come to love but now with an added twist of Star Wars. As always, all the pieces still fit away inside his body for easy storage.--Chip Quinn ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Luke - Use the Forks !!!
I'd say I'm embarrassed to tell you how many stores I went to looking for this and how many trips it took me to said stores. But I'm not.

Somewhere somone was saying "This is not the toy you want" .... but I ignored that Obi-Wan-ism and prevailed. Unfortunately I've been on the 'wait list' here @ amazon for months....and no luck (not their fault - Hasbro isn't saturating the market I guess). I refused to pay $20 and up on ebay for a less than $7 toy.

But it's not a toy.It proudly sits on my desk at work for all to admire, "oooh and aaah" over and laugh about. And they do.

I could care less about educational value or durability. It sits on my desk!!!!

(and yes, I bought two!...one to keep in the original packaging.)

Editorial Review

Radio Flyer’s Pathfinder is the SUV of little red wagons, sporting a rugged plastic body and offering tikes a luxurious amount of towing or riding space. The wagon’s convertible seats fold down for maximum storage capacity and then flip up to comfortably accommodate two children. Webbed seatbelts ensure that children don’t bounce out when riding over rough terrain. The Pathfinder’s interior also has four built-in drink holders to keep sippy cups and juice boxes secure during the ride. The extra-long handle has a large, loop grip that even kids can control and that folds under the wagon for more compact storage. Like all Radio Flyer wagons, this one has heavy axles to handle a lot of weight, heavy-duty casters for making tight turns without tipping, and durable rubber tires that provide a soft, quiet ride. The Pathfinder measures 39-1/4 inches long, 19 inches wide, and 16-1/2 inches tall. --Cristina Vaamonde ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars WALMART SELLS FOR MUCH LESS!!!
I was ready to purchase this wagon from Amazon.com until I saw that the shipping was over $25.00.I then checked out walmart.com...not only was the item 15 dollars cheaper ($64.64 instead of $79.99) but the shipping was only 8.94.I saved over $30 dollars and my item arrived in just a few days.

5-0 out of 5 stars handy for two
My friend has this for her 2 1/2 yr old and her 1 year old. They love it.Its got cup holders, seat belts.Very nice.I want one for my 2 girls.I would recommend it to anyone after seeing theirs and seeing how much they use it and enjoy it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome wagon, very well-made and fun!
We were looking for a "big" item to give my daughter for her first birthday. She was still too small for most ride-on toys, not walking without help yet, and so still needed something safer as far as that sort of thing goes. We checked out the little cars that have the long handle that an adult can push, but none of them seemed fun or like they would get used for very long.

I remember the metal Radio Flyer wagons from my childhood, and I was skeptical of a plastic wagon. My husband is the one who really wanted to get my daughter this wagon for her birthday because it has the 2 molded seats with seatbelts, that will fold down when not in use or when you want just a plain wagon with no seats. Also, this wagon IS plastic but it is VERY durable and well-made, and more importantly, the tires are rubber not plastic- very good! So I agreed that we could get her this as her main gift for her birthday although I was still a little skeptical about whether she'd like it at just 1 year old, and whether she was big enough for it, since I think it is recommended for kids just a tad older.

She absolutely LOVES it! The seatbelts hold her in securely and we pull her around the yard and neighborhood. She likes this SO much better than riding in a stroller, and it is very roomy for toys and diaper bag and other things. My daughter is even small for her age and JUST turned 1, and we have so much fun with her in this wagon! It is durable, well worth the money, and will get years of use. (Read my other reviews, I am really big on getting toys that will be played with more than a couple months!)

If you are looking for a wagon I HIGHLY recommend this one. If you are looking for a gift for a toddler, I highly recommend this wagon as a fun and safe gift idea. Every toddler needs one of these if there is a safe place for adults to pull them around. I can't emphasize just how much my daughter loves this wagon! I believe this wagon is durable enough to be a keeper for many years to come. ... Read more

The Aquadoodle isn't a pool or tub toy, but without water it's no fun at all. It's just a drawing mat after all, but kids will like the novelty of its disappearing colors. The 81 by 53-inch drawing mat is large enough for several kids to doodle on at a time, using the included magic marker pens that do not transfer color to other surfaces (to our knowledge …). Color from the pens appears when water touches the mat; it then fades out without a trace in 60 seconds or so. That's it: no ink, no paint, and no mess.Diane Beall ... Read more

My 2 year old loves his aquadoodle. He got the aquadoodle and some extra pens and the stamps. You need to order at least one extra pen so you can play with it with them.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for anywhere doodling
I recently saw this toy at a friends house. I had to get a 2 year birthday present and decided to buy this and buy one for my 3 year old and 14 month old. My 3 year had a great time during quiet time the other day and even figured out to wet her hands and feet and make prints. Today my 14 month old played with it while I premade some dinner. I like the fact that it doesn't write on anything else and my 14 month put the pen in his mouth but it is only water. It will be great on trips. We got the extra pens and stamps and that has been wonderful. Love it.

5-0 out of 5 stars A hit for kids of various ages!!!!
This product is AWESOME!!!!My 2 year old son received this for Christmas.Since it only came with one pen, I bought the extra pens so he and my 4 year old daughter could play with it at the same time. They both love it and I don't have to worry about them fighting over who gets to play with it.It is big enough, they can both draw on it at the same time.
Yesterday, I also brought it with us while my daughter was in gymnastics. It folds up easily enough to take it places and I stuck the pens in the middle of it so they would not get lost. There are plenty of other kids that go there, so they are all sharing each others toys.It definitely was a hit as kids from 2 - 10 were down drawing on it with him. There was constantly 3 kids drawing on it at a time and they ended up filling up the mat by the end of the hour, so I just layed it out when I got home to complete drying. However, most of the time when it is just my son and daughter using it, any of their drawings dry fast enough that it DOES keep them entertained for quite a while.

If you grew up with a Radio Flyer wagon but lost it along the way, here's your chance to own abrand new one. The body and sides are made of finished wood. Painted bright red, the stake sides simplylift out, leaving you with a natural-finish flatbed. Steel wheels with big, inflatable pneumatic tires rolleasily on pavement or rough terrain. At 33.5 inches, the extra-long handle makes turning easy. The wagonbed is 36 inches long, 15 inches wide, 9 inches high, and 21 inches from the ground to the top of thewagon. The durable-tread rubber tires are 10.5 inches in diameter and 3 inches wide. If you're lucky, yourchild might let you borrow this wonderful wagon. --Louise Carter ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Paint Chipped
I only had the wagon a month and all the stain and paint started to chip off. It is a durable wagon, but was not happy with chipping.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best buy for 2 kids close in age!!
My mom bought this as a present for my then four year old daughter, but I began using it for her younger brothers aged NB and 18 months and bought her a smaller version to haul her dolls. It fit an infant car seat and toddler perfect, is versitable enough to last and on long outings allowed the older room to move unlike a tandum stroller. That was ten years ago. Now I've started a "second family" with a large 21month old son and another son due in 5 weeks. This item was a natural choice, due to my childs size (32pounds). Most tandum strollers allow only 40pounds per seat, so he would quickly out-grow it. With the wagon he can be in it longer and when both boys outgrow it they can use it to haul all their treasures. It also lasts almost forever (we lost our last one in a fire a year and a half ago after having it for 8 years). It was a little weathered but still sturdy (we did have to replace two brackets on one side due to stunt riding!). I can enthusiasticly say this was the best child purchase I've ever made!!!

3-0 out of 5 stars Great Design, Very Poor Materials and Paint
Hard to believe we are all reviewing the same wagon. While the design is very good, the materials and finish are awful. The wood used in its contruction is too thin - a piece on the bottom was cracked out of the box. The side panels feel as if they are made from balsa wood - I am concerned they will not hold up over time. Two of the panels are also very loose in their mounting brackets. The paint shows drip marks, missing spots, and globs on both the red panels and black metal. The red paint rubs off on our child's hands and clothes. I could have done a better job with a can of spray paint. I am seriously thinking of using the metal hardware as a base for a wagon that I build out of more substantial materials. We also have the Radio Flyer Walker Wagon and the materials and finish on that one are much better. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great multipurpose walker
This walker is helping our 8 month old twin boys to learn to walk. Its very safe and very cute...
* It only goes straight, perfect for a beginner
* Large basket, we use it to hold peek-a-blocks usually, or it can hold my twins!
* Small and low to the ground, wont tip over
* Very durable, nothings breaking this wagon!
* The wooden slats come off so my kids can ride in it
* It wont tip over
* If its on hardwood, it doesnt ruin the floors
* Rolls well on carpet too

Its just a cute and great walker for those first few steps, my twins love this one just as much as the Gobble n' go hippo, great toy...

5-0 out of 5 stars The best!Well worth the $$$$
We bought and returned several "walker" toys before I found this one. We bought it when our son was about 10mos old and just beginning to venture out on his own.It is very stable when many of the others would fall over when he tried to walk behind them. The handle is also very wide compared to other push toys. Because of the clickers it takes a little effort to push, which I like because the others would fly away from him.

I agree that initially it was hard to steer but give it a time ...our son is now a pro. Plus many of the other push toys would just fall over when he tried to turn them. He can take this wagon around the tighest corners with no problem. We also had to replace our clickers.I called radio flyer and they sent them out ASAP and they were a snap to replace.

Even with those two issues,I would buy this wagon again. We are going on 8 months of use now and it is still the favorite.I am a super picky toy buyer and this wagon is at the top of my must have list!!!

2-0 out of 5 stars Cute to look at but NOT DURABLE!!
We purchased this wagon for our 18 month old son for Christmas. After my husband nearly pulled out his hair putting it together, our son was ready to walk with his new wagon.Unfortunately, in three short months of use, one of the side wood panels has broken leaving a nail exposed (thankfully, that piece is removable and I could throw it away), several of the lugnuts have come off, and my son managed to take the pushbar off.I called Radio Flyer directly about this and they apologized and told me the side panel should not have broken like it did and that the push bar should have never come off. Those are the least of my concerns.I caught my son a few days ago right as he was going to put one of the lugnuts that have come loose again, in his mouth. That was the last straw for the wagon.I grew up with a Radio Flyer and I will give them another chance but not until my son is older and next time maybe we will buy a good old fashioned wagon.I do not recommend this wagon for any toddler. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars AGES 18mo at least
This toy was a gift from my father for my son's first birthday and he could have cared less.At about 18 months, he started to pay good attention to the toy, and by 20 months, we have had to re-tighten the screws from all of the use!He glides down the hall and across the family room. The rubber wheels haven't left a mark on our hardwoods! The wood has cracked in under the handlebars, but doesn't seem to affect the over all performance.I say this thing would be better for 2 year olds and maybe just a few months before, but not a good 1st birthday gift.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fabulous Toy!
I bought this trike as a replacement after a plastic trike broke. My daughter LOVES it. It's really sturdy, well built, and fun.She is 2 now and has just as much fun riding it as she did when she was 1.Even my 5 year old rides it around the house and it holds her as well.It is so much better than the other "classic trike" they have with the high handle bars...that one tips over and falls apart.Get this one for sure. It's worth EVERY penny!

5-0 out of 5 stars Assembly required, but 12 month old LOVES it.....

5-0 out of 5 stars Great present for 1st Birthday
The retro rocket is a fun toy for our son who just turned one. Before we even had it out of the box he was pressing the sound buttons. We were even more amazed that he was able to ride it from the start.I was initially concerned when I read that the wheels did not turn but like another reviewer stated that keeps him from running into the wall, etc.We are very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a memorable 1st Birthday present!

5-0 out of 5 stars Stellar Toy!!
From the moment my son first set eyes on this toy at 11 months, it was love at first sight. Six months later, it's still his favorite toy. When neighborhood kids come over to play, it's the one they all want to play with.

Initial assembly was a bit of a challenge, and I had to get my husband to help coax a few pieces together. It doesn't scoot well on thick carpeting, either.

Other than a couple of very minor faults, it's hard to get my son to leave the Retro Rocket alone. He loves pushing it around the room, and hiding his blankie in the seat compartment. His face lights up whenever he rides it. He especially loves the countdown to blastoff and the lights and vibration.

I was talking with the owner of our local children's consignment shop, and she mentioned that she seldom has the Retro Rocket come in, and when it does come in, it doesn't sit for more than a day before someone buys it. I believe it!

5-0 out of 5 stars wonderful toy
I read all the reviews on this toy before purchasing. The rocket was a gift for my one year old son. He loves it and so does our three year old daughter. The size is perfect for him at this age and will still be good for him to grow into over the next couple of years. We like that the wheels don't turn, it keeps him from getting upset when he can't push it because the wheels won't stay straight like some of the other ride on toys. The rocket may seem expensive, but it does seem very durable and I know we will have it for years. This is truly a great toy and I'm glad I got it for my child. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun toy for my bouncing little girls!
We bought this Rock 'N Bounce Pony for my youngest daughter's first birthday a month and a half ago.We got it because she LOVED to jump in her doorway Jumpster.Since she is such a bouncer, I thought this toy would be great for her current age.

She does enjoy the toy, but only in small doses. She might jump for a minute, then she's ready to get off. That's why I only gave it 4 overall stars instead of 5.I think I'm more excited about the toy than she is, although she does like it.

At first we attached the "support seat" and that worked fine. However, we also have another daughter, age two years and eight months. She REALLY wanted to jump, too, so we let her.(It states that the toy is for ages 9 months through age 3).She kept getting stuck in the support seat, so we removed it altogether. Now my oldest can bounce to her heart's content with no problems. The youngest needs help getting on and off anyway, so it works out fine that we took it off.I sit there beside her during her jumping and rocking, so there is no fear that she will fall off.I wish I could take the support on and off easily to better accomodate each child, but it requires a screwdriver.Obviously, there's no way I'm screwing the seat in then taking it off every time the other child wants to bounce.

I would recommend this toy for children ages 9 months to age 2.If the child is over 2 I'd be cautious about buying because they might be too big.My older daughter has almost outgrown it.(The seat is on the small side.)

The toy is well made and looks like it will last for years. My husband assembled it easily.Radio Flyer brand has been around for a long time, so I trust their good name for a quality product.

Overall, I'm glad we got this toy.Buy it if 1) your child really enjoys bouncing and 2) you plan to have more than one child. That way you'll get your money out of it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect for a baby
Our little one is ten months old and she LOVES this horse. We still have to stand by her but at least we don't have to hold her the whole time. This is her favorite one right now out of the three that she has. :)

5-0 out of 5 stars Best rocking horse for 1 year olds and up.
My son loves his rocking horse. We got the toy for him as a Christmas gift and he rides it at least once a day.
My son is now almost 15 months old so I removed the waste
harness, as he showed interest in getting on and off himself.
It also works as a great replacement for a swing, since babies outgrow those so quickly.Several times he has rocked himself to sleep on his horse.

Very durable and safe, easy to assemble. ... Read more

This durable little unit packs in a lot of functions, all of them eminently kid-friendly. Most basically, it’s a tape player that can be easily operated with big, colorful buttons, but it’s also a kind of karaoke machine, letting kids use the included microphone to sing along with the music, or sing a cappella. As if that wasn’t enough, there are multiple settings to warp your voice to sound like a monster, robot, bunny, or Martian. You might have to use your imagination to hear how some of the settings sound like what they’re supposed to (and what does a bunny sound like anyway?), but once you start experimenting with Voice Warp, it’s addictive fun even if you’re a big person. Don’t worry though, you can turn the filter off to hear your normal voice. --David Stoesz ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars very durable
I have the older version of this player. My daughter got it for Christmas when she was 3 and she still plays with it. (she is now 10) Her brother has also used it and now my Granddaughter has started to play with it. It has been bounced up and down stairs and even banged against the wall a time or two. It still plays and sounds good. My kids have enjoyed it so much that my Granddaughter is getting one of her own for her birthday this month.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun Voice Machine!
We bought this recorder for our son when he turned 3. I wanted him to have freedom to play his own tapes and also the fun of doing the cool voices. I didn't realize just how much he would actually like this. Not only does he carry it around and talk on it constantly- so does his 1 yr. sister (and his parents, too!). We have laughed so much playing with this as a family. I was hesitant about purchasing this at first but now I am so glad I did!

2-0 out of 5 stars Playback broke very quickly
As at least one other person noted, there is sometimes too much feedback when singing in to the mike. The unit seams built very strongly and is very heavy (too heavy to be carried and played with at the same time), but after very little use, the play button has stopped functioning on the tape player. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Sturdy, Fun, Worth the money
Last Spring my husband and I bought this wagon for an up and coming camping trip for our then 1 1/2 year old and our 3 1/2 year old. This wagon is a lot of fun.It has a compartment to put drinks or other items in. The sides are nice and high so no one can fall out and it is wide enough for them to sit with their legs crossed. It also has a high clearance which we were shocked by.We were able to go over curbs and high dirt area's with no problem. The handle is nice and long so your not bending down to pull the wagon. It isn't metal so you don't have to worry about paint chipping, scratches or dents. It wipes clean or you can just hose it off. The sides come off so you can store it easier or put it in your trunk or storage compartment on your RV. You can also use it to move around other things besides children. We use it to move around bags of dirt, potting soil, wood chips, etc. in the back yard. This isn't a small wagon that they will grow out of any time soon. We are very happy with this wagon and would suggest buying it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth Every Dollar!
We did quite a bit of comparison shopping when choosing this wagon for our son's first birthday. Although it was expensive - we liked this wagon for its size (it can easily pull 3 kids), storage compartment, cup holders, and easy ride. It ha sgone on trips all over the neighborhood, even on vacation to the beach - where I personally had no issues pulling it across the sand loaded w/ baby, towels, etc. As for it's durability, my husband even used it temporarily as a 2nd wheelbarrow to move bricks until I caught him in the act. The plastic (which is very tough stuff) wasn't even scratched! We love this wagon and expect to enjopy it for many years to come.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great wagon for kids and dogs too !
We just got this wagon and we have not stopped using it, not only does my son love it, our dogs love it too! We have two Boston Terrier Dogs who love sitting it in and they love going for walks in it. That is how roomy this wagon is - you can fit a child and two dogs! It keeps my son busy watching the dogs so we are all happy. It also fits two children very comfortably as we used it when he friend came over last week, they were both so content, they seemed to really enjoy the smooth ride and the room they both had ! I would recommend this to anyone, I know we are going to get a lot of use out of this one !I really liked this wagon because my son is only 14 months and I was concerned about him bumping his head on the old fashioned kind, this one is great ! ... Editorial Review

Sally, Stevie, Stanley, Sophie, Stewie, and Sid are six colorful, lightweight bowling pins--each with their own personality--that talk to kids while they bowl. Taunts such as "C'mon!Roll the ball already!" get kids started, and phrases such as "Whew! That was close," keep them aiming for the pins. Bells, whistles, and cheers are heard if a spare or strike is bowled. The tan plastic base has six colored circles to hold the pins in place, but it is not required that colors match up for a game to begin. Silly 6 Pins only keeps score one frame (two balls) at a time, so keep a pad of paper nearby if you're playing as a family. Three AA batteries are required, but not included. --Pam Lauer ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Fun for the whole family!
My little boy got to open this on Christmas Eve, his grandparents got it for him.My little boy was so shocked and excited when he saw the game!He had wanted this game for several months but I was'nt sure he'd like it as much as he wanted it but it was one of those games that I was wrong about- He loves it!I have to admit it is really a fun game.Thebowling pens shake and talk to you as you play and they say funny, cute phrases. My little boy who is almost 4 can set the game up him self and play it without anyone else or if he wants we can play with him.I like games that he can understand and be able to play without having a second player all the time.It makes this game even more a good purchase because being an only child there is'nt many games that are like this.He loves this game and still plays it a lot even 3 1/2 months later.I would reccommend it!

5-0 out of 5 stars FUN FOR ALL AGES
I was reluctant to purchase this toy for my son's third birthday simply because he has never been bowling or knew anything about it.However, based on your reviews I decided to try it out.My son is not easy to keep busy and this was the trick! This toy is a blast! He loves to set the pins up just as much as he loves to knock them down.He plays it with his 12 year old sister and it seems to be the only time that they don't bug eachother. They have a ball!we all do, the voices are cute, but I wish it was louder.Easy to clean up, and just plain fun!I think we will get lots of milage out of this game.

The Pixter is like a personal digital assistant (PDA) for kids. But instead of storing boring appointments and phone numbers, they get to draw, do puzzles, and learn a little, too. The Pixter is about the size of a small book, and has a pretty solid weight to it. It's made out of brightly colored and durable plastic. The main action of this toy is drawing with an attached stylus. The Color Pixter offers much better graphics then the black and white version, which comes in handy with activities like Paint-by-Numbers and Connect-the-Dots. You can draw a picture free form, or you can use one of the starter backgrounds. There are tool buttons, like on a PDA, that give you access to fun stamps, special effects, and the eraser button. You can also save your creation in the Pixter's memory. There are some boppy tunes playing along with all this creative activity, but luckily for parents, there's also a jack for headphones and a volume adjuster. An expansion slot on top of the Pixter accepts ROM-based expansion cards that contain additional software and games. Requires 4 "AA" batteries. (Not included.) --Megan Sullivan ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't buy Pixter...Go for a Leapster
My 3-year-old loves her Leapster and plays with it in the car on long trips as well as in the house when I have to do things that leave her on her own. That's why, when I saw what looked like really fun and educational games for the Pixter, I put it on her wish list for her birthday. It'll be twice as much fun when there are more games from which to choose, I thought. But it's turned out to be a major disappointment. The screen is grainy, the interface is not intuitive, and one really has to press hard to get the screen to recognize the stylus. It's not easy even for an adult! The drawings skip and you can't drag items once they're placed: You never know where they're going to be centered before you place them. The games are not as educational as those on the Leapster, either. We bought Global Passport, Creative Genius, Barbie Fashion Show, Pet Shop, and Symphony Painter (that one is the worst!). She's using the Pet Shop a little, but that's it. Don't waste your money. Go for the Leapster...It's elegant and fun with a clear picture and sound. Now I wish I'd taken to heart the previous reviewer who bought the Leapster instead because I'm stuck with all this expensive useless nonsense. I had also bought the math, Barbie writing and Clifford cartridges, but I'm going to return those because they were bought in a brick and mortar store and haven'tyet been opened.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great fun!
How cool is this?! A color computer for little hands. It is a great set.The game cartridges that go along make it just as exciting as any gaming system. The basics to it are drawing and other artistic works such as stickers, shapes and fill-in colors. My son got one at the age of 4 and loved it.He broke the first one by falling on the screen, but we bought a new one because of the use of the first one. Now, nearly 2 years later, he is expanding his artistic talents by drawing with different styled lines, creating his own coloring themes and the like. Works great, day or night, as the screen is lit.We often take ours in the car because of the headphone option and volume control.

1-0 out of 5 stars Get a Leapster instead
I was very disapointed in the Pixter. We returned ours and got a Leapster. The graphics and controls are so much better on the Leapster and the games are much more fun and educational. Also the Leapster is much more intuitive, a child can pick up a Leapster and figure everything out - there is even a "hint" button if the child gets stuck. A child that gets stuck with the Pixter can only look at the grainy screen and wonder where they went wrong. This toy is not worth the money. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Classroom Teacher
This product has provided hours of entertainment to my Kindergarteners and my first graders in the last two years.I can't believe how rough they can be with the toy and nothing breaks.

5-0 out of 5 stars Really neat...even fun for mom
I bought this set for my son when he turned 4.He didn't attempt to play with it by himself until one day I got it out, sat on the floor with him and started building really neat stuff. When he saw what I had done and watched all the colors of gears turning round and round that was it, he loved it.This set has so many options; you can build 1,000 different things. We will have this set for a long time.

3-0 out of 5 stars Start with the Under Sea Adventure set, this as add on!
We received several gears, gears, gears sets at the same time, and found that the plain set ie Super set although initially fun looses excitement without some add ons.If I were to buy just one set I would start with the Under the Sea adventure set first, then add with the fantasy play park. The Undersea set has parts that move the gears in interesting ways from the standard set.It also comes with regular gears for building, although in limited number so the super set still helps extend the play. The motorized monstors sounded more intteresting than it was, but the parts when added to the Undersea adventure set was great fun!The gears are an interesting way of learning how things work. If your child is mechanically minded any of these sets will provide a wonderful new constructin opportunity. If your child hasn't been inclined towards let's say lego's etc.. This toy may provide some interest initially in being able to create a design that moves. However, construction with this set is more complicated than legos and for the less mechanically inclined child will still need paren'ts help beyond the age minimum's recommended. ... This pink and purple girl's trike is equipped with everything a beginning rider would want or anticipate from Radio Flyer. Besides being for first-time riders--excitement enough--it comes with a list of confidence-inspiring features, besides having three large, sturdy wheels on a lightweight metal frame to prevent toppling. There's also a large bucket seat for maximum comfort; easy to reach pedals with foot brakes; easy-grip handle bars with wind-lovin' tassels; a rear-end basket for all kinds of toddler "stuff; and a kitschy finger bell kids will love to ring as they turn blind corners in the house. New riders will take pride in every pedal with a trike so well-equipped. --Diane Beall ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Dangerous Trike
We just got this trike at toysrus for our 24 month old daughter. It looked so adorable online and in the store, and looked fairly similar to the Kettler that my older daughter had.The price was a plus, as well. However, once we got it home and tried it out, it did not take long to figure out how dangerous this trike is.The first try at a turn and WHAM!the trike tipped and fell over.I thought this might have been a fluke and that perhaps my daughter was not sitting on the trike correctly, so I got her back on and away she went again.About the 3rd or 4th try at a turn and WHAM! Again, the trike tipped and fell over, and this time she got a slightly bloody nose from hitting the pavement hard, face first.Needless to say, I put the bike away immediately and I am returning it ASAP.This trike is definitely a hazard.

We have NEVER had a problem with our older daughter's Kettler Blossom trike. It has NEVER tipped. So, this incident took me by surprise and afterward, I compared the trikes. Although I am not an engineer, it seems fairly clear to me why the Kettler is infinitely more stable.First, the distance between the two back wheels on the Radio Flyer is only 11 inches. On the Kettler, the distance is 14 inches, a full 3 inches wider. Also, the distance front to back on the Kettler is longer. Finally, the wheels on the Kettler are bigger.

Another plus for the Kettler is that the frame is adjustable and as your child grows, you can lengthen the frame to accomodate longer legs. The Radio Flyer is not adjustable. This wasn't a concern for me, because I figured that when my younger daughter outgrew her trike, she would start riding my older daughter's adjustable Kettler, while my older daughter would get a regular bike.

In any event, you don't need to take just my word for it.Please, please, please take a look at the reviews for the Radio Flyer Fold-2-Go trike, which is the EXACT SAME TRIKE as this one, but it is red and blue instead of pink and purple. There are several reviewers of that trike that have had the same experience with tipping. This is an important safety issue and should be of great concern to all parents of young toddlers who are shopping for trikes.

Now, the Kettler is much more expensive, but they make the SAME tricycle as the Blossom, but with a different name and much less expensive. It's called the Kiddi-o Simba. I've just contaced Kettler and verified that it is basically the same trike with the same dimensions and safety features.(you can go to www.kiddi-o.com and call the toll free number yourself.)Plus, it's only 29.99 right now at Toysrus (the same price as this Radio Flyer.)Personally, I'm going to go out and exchange this one for the Simba immediately.Sure, the Radio Flyer is very cute, and the little basket, the bell and the fringe on the handles are adorable. But don't be taken in by how cute it is.It is unsafe.

5-0 out of 5 stars love it!!
Very durable, folds up easily to go in the car or for storage (when they grow out of it)my daughter is 22 months old and she just loves her bike!!

My 6 and 9 year old boys both love this toy. They usually take showers now because they're big boys but the first day we had the flutes they both spent about 2 hours in the tub. The song book pages are laminated so they won't fall apart if they fall in the water. I even heard my husband trying them out, so they were a big hit in the house. Editorial Review

This combination tricycle/stroller offers an excellent solution for ambivalent preschoolers who want to pedal one moment and be pushed along the next. As with all Radio Flyer rides, the Voyager is built to last, with a durable steel frame and heavy-duty treaded tires. The trike’s unique feature is its steering and pedal lock that allows kids to either pedal or just sit back and let parents do all the work. For parents’ ease of use, the Voyager has a comfortable stroller-style push bar that adjusts to four different positions, and a snap-on snack tray that holds two drinks and a set of keys. A removable nylon backpack with a waterproof interior is attached to the stroller with velcro, and provides just enough space to carry diaper bag necessities. Kids will love the ringing bell and bucket on the back of trike. Parents will love the adjustable seat and safe turning radius that helps to prevents the trike from tipping. --Cristina Vaamonde ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Disappointed with Radio Flyer
My son received this as a gift from grandma. We thought, being that it was Radio Flyer, that meant quality.Boy, were we wrong. The steering was completely stripped after one use by my 2 year old.I took it back and am awaiting a new Kettler to be built.Hopefully, this one will be better.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BIKE!!!Very poor quality.
I also called Radio Flyer before returning the bike and they offered little assistance. However, at the store it seems to be a regular problem as all of the Radio Flyer trikes that they carried had stripped handle bars.

5-0 out of 5 stars 2 Year Old LOVES it!!
We got this trike for our son for his first birthday. He basically just sat on it for the first year and now that he is close to two, he loves it! We use it for walks through the neighborhood and he can now pedal. Although it is hard to steer, we've found it to be great. I highly recommend this for toddlers that are outgrowing their stroller days!

1-0 out of 5 stars Broke in First Week and repeatedly after
This product is probably the single largest disappointment in our child's 3 years! In the very first week, the cable to the parent bar broke. So we got a replacement after much debate and protests by their customer support. Then, something went wrong with the handle bar and that does not turn the wheel anymore.

Try explaining these to a 2-3 year old!

I cannot believe that this company and this product are still in business with such a shoddy product

When the sun beats down over the long haul, this jaunty, adjustable red polyester umbrellatransforms a little red wagon into a shady Conestoga. And it will serve you well should you be surprised byrain showers on your journey. You could also clamp it on a lawn chair, a cooler handle, a park railing, or abackpack strap. The neoprene-padded jaws of the sturdy plastic, 6.5-inch spring clamp move smoothly on180-degree hinges, so the umbrella gets a flat, slip-proof grip on objects that are from an eighth of an inchto 2 inches thick--even on wet wood or slick metal. Made especially to sit pretty on a classic Radio Flyerwagon, the versatile, heavy-duty clamp also accommodates non-planar surfaces, such as a wide-lippedwall. Unfasten the Velcro closure and slide open a taut 26.5-inch diameter circle of shade made of chunky,top-quality materials. A 4-inch-long, .375-inch-diameter metal-spiraled neck above the clamp allows you toadjust the shade to any angle in any direction. This beauty is made to last as long as a Radio Flyer wagon! The umbrella is 30.75 inches long, and comes with instructions. Ava Natov ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great accessory to wagon
We have this for our radioflyer woodsided wagon and it works very well. It's a bit on the small side, same size a regular childs umbrella, but it works. Also, the small size is about the same width as the wagon, so it's easy to fit thru any doorways, gates, etc...while in the open position that the wagon can.
I rated it 4 stars for fun since my 2 year old loves to play with it (a lot). I think it's great to have and advise anyone with this type of wagon to get it too.

4-0 out of 5 stars Wagon Umbrella
It's strong but very, very small. Unless you only have one child in the wagon or ride-on, you'll need to buy two. I did and it was worth it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Great Concept but Not Durable
The umbrella is a great idea and works well with the radio flyer wagon. The problem is ours broke after limited use.The umbrella did not bend easily in the coil area.We found that when people adjusted the umbrella they always bent it where the button is to put the umbrella up and down.In the end that is where the umbrella snapped in two.So just take your time when trying to bend the umbrella to block the sun! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars A Great Gift that Kids Love
I bought this game for my children several years ago on the advice of the owner of my favorite toy store.I love board games, and my children were 3 and 5 then, and just starting to enjoy them as well.Well, we couldn't get the kids to stop playing Zingo. They played quietly for more than 2 hours.Since you can play with up to 8 players, we have had lots of neighborhood kids playing the game out on the front steps.Since then, I have bought at least 10 Zingo games -- I have given them to all my children's friends and I always keep a few around to give out for birthday gifts.Everyone loves this game.

5-0 out of 5 stars great design, great fun
This preschooler variation of the old favorite Bingo is a real winner.

Zingo cards have a 3 by 3 grid that shows pictures and words.Cards have a yellow side (easier, for younger kids) and a red side for the odler ones. The plastic game piece dispenser is well-designed and fun to use.Players shout out to claim a piece, which is then placed over the appropriate square on the player's card. There are several play variations.

Excellent game for the younger set, and fun for older children and adults as well. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Deal Shopper Dad
I feel this is a very good product whick keeps my kids occupied, even during those long car trips. The color screen is a definite plus and a winner. Although the basic games that come with it are the same as the original pixter, color certainly adds to it.And with the adjuster cartridge connector, the kids are able to use even the old pixter cartridges.

I first had the Original Pixter, then got the color pixter for my 7 yr old and now I'm thinking of getting another one for my 3 yr old. The price is a little high and it would be nice if it came down or atleast,if they could add one or 2 cartridges with the starter pack.

But when the kids are sitting quietly playing with the color pixter and when u get the 'much needed quiet time after a long day', I would say its well worth it.

The batteries last a while too. And,there is a undo feature...Where u click for home, under the 'save to,open file' images, there is an undo arrow. Hope this helps.
