this toy is for LITTLE kids
i got this toy because on tv they showed older kids playing with these.all the toy does is make sounds when it hears something or when u pick it up or put it down.they are stupid.i gave this toy to my little brother and he loves it.they are great for little kids but if you are an older kid who just wants to see if they are fun or not, dont waste your time or money on this stupid toy.

Neo Pets Mynci
I've been on the neopets website for over 2 years, and the other day i saw the voice activated neopets advertised on the website, so the next day i went out and bought one. I got a Mynci, as it was the only one left in the shop, its blue and yellow and i named him Tobi(a boy). I love my mynci, i must admit after a while he can get boring but hes nice to have as company when you're bored. Tomorrow i'm going to buy 2 more, as i think he might be more fun with other neopets to interact with. Overall i give Mynci 4 stars and i think hes nice to own if you love neopets!

Not too amusing ...
I've passed by these Neopets in the store a lot and I'd play with them in the demo mode but not really amused but when I found one in the clearance section and it was Shoyru the Dragon but Blue with yellow stars on it. I decide what the hey. I might as well see if this thing is as fun as the packaging says it to be. I brought it home and put it in Play mode and it took me less than 10 minutes to get bored of it. The last reviewer was right it does respond to your voice even thought you said a mean word softly it'd act happy and if you say something nice loud it get's angry. It doesn't say the 30 phrases the package says it does. I've only hear repeatedly Cool, Yes, Oh No, and Whistling which I guess is suppose to be his happy thing. Anyways I thought the price I paid for it wasn't worth it so I returned it. But I did find out that the one I had found is a rare Neopets item and I sort of knew that being the other Shoyru on the rack that wasn't clearance due to damaged packaging was orange colored and plain as to this one was blue with yellow stars on it. Anyways it's not too entertaining. I was more entertained by these magnetic lego type toy called Magnetixs by RoseArts. I could play with those all day and never get bored !
If you chose to buy this Neopet it's all up to you. But to me I say go with the Plush Neopet and make your own voices to go with it. ... Read more

Don't bother with this waste of a product
Money aside, this product was very dissapointing, especially to a 7 year old little girl who was so excited to have a glittering butterfly tatoo on her hand.The tatoos are poorly created, as once you peel off and apply the glitter to one side, the "other" side, which is supposed to be sticky as well, is not.We tried 6 or 7 different tatoos, and all were the same.Again, this product is "poo-poo" according to my 7 year niece. Horrible poop... f'n ridiculous DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!
ughh... this is horrible... whatever you do... DO NOT BUY THIS... no matter what anyone tells you... DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!!!!!!!It doesn't work.I tried to use it to listen to a chipmunk's heart but all it did was make it blow up.I couldn't hear anything and a LOUD ring went off.My eardrums exploded and i went to the doctor.Now I am deaf.And the chipmunk is dead.Now noone likes me because I am deaf so it is this thing's fault.I am thinking of pursuing a lawsuit.But sadly i will now need to mime the words in court.If I had never bought this thing that DOES NOT WORK, this would have not happened.DO NOT BUY THIS!! It does not work and will only lead to your eardrums exploding and rodents dying.

Cool but not useful
I got this as a christmas gift and i thought it was pretty cool until i started using it. It doesn't work at all. It looked really "modern technology" but it does't do anything but make thumping noises. Once when i tried to hear through the wall, i suddenly beeped really loud and it hurt my ears so i returned it. Please don't waste your money unless you have maybe a 5 year old that's just pretending to be a spy and not actually using the toy.

It's fun for a while
This is one of those toys adults enjoy just as much as kids.My niece and I play "spy" a lot, and this is one of our secret weapons. Surprizingly, it works pretty well for an inexpensive kids' toy. Nice, but...
It is pretty good to have water in a dispenser but after about eight months it starts to leak more and more.

I was exited when I first got it and I could not stop using it but after a week it became booring.And I think that it would be better if you lower the price since its a kid toy and not many kids can afford to buy it for that much money.(...)

Great fun
My daughter received this for her 8th Birthday.She absoutly loves Bell. She tells me when Bell falls asleep and loves that she talks back to her.Bell says "Lets go on an adventure." My daughter will hold Bell in her palm and take her for a tour outside, she talks to Bell and dances around while holding her in the palm of her hand singing and humming the songs along with Bell. She has told me several times she loves her Bell doll. I think this doll and the others are an excellent value especially at the clearance price. I would say if your daughter loves any of the Princess's or Winnie the Pooh go for it. ... Read more

Cooler then aquapets: A Pre-Review
Note:This is a pre-buying review. I haven't yet bought any of the FREEK Aquapets but I have a few normal ones and i'll base the "stars" on that.

I was waiting for this! I am an 11 year old girl, but i'm a tomboy and I think Aquapets are cool, but too girly. And I love genetic experiments and mutants, so this makes it even better.

Virtual aquapets are more boring then other things like tamagotchi but what bores me the most is the look.
I mean - come on - I feel EMBARRASSED to buy an angel-winged ball of love or - even worse - a Bratz-esqe pink cat in sunglasses. Ergh.

So finally! They have answered my call! The freeks come in specimen viles and look twisted but cute: A two-headded tadpole thing, an eyeball w arms and legs, and even an evil robot thing!

They probobly act like the normal aquapets but if there is a miracle MAYBE they re-programmed them and made them more spiffy!
I say they look like a good toy just by the looks, they look cooler then the old ones and It would be safe to say these are the next "generation" of aquapets.
