Difficult to push buttons, turns off quickly
My 10-month old daughter always smiles when I bring out Baby Tad, but in my opinion the toy is not very well designed for babies. The buttons, embedded in fabric, are really hard for her to push. After a few seconds of not having any buttons pushed, Baby Tad turns off automatically, bringing a quick end to playtime unless I'm sitting there with her pushing the buttons. Could have been a great toy, but I think they missed the boat.

I gave my granddaughter this toy on her first birthday, hoping it was not too young for her Every time I have seen her, she has been playing with it.She is 22 months and this time she started singing songs from it (unbeknownst to me).When I started singing with her, she brought it over and we sang every song together.What a perfect toy - colors, shapes, songs!

My daughter LOVES her Dora doll!!
My daughter received this as a Christmas gift when she was 8 months old.It was love at first sight.She is now a year old and hugs, kisses and chit chats with her doll.She has dropped the doll a couple of times off of her high chair and the doll is still in superb shape.Plus, the doll's hair is easily combed (as it needs to be after beiing handled by an infant having her lunch).

Disappointed
This toy was OK right up until some body gave Dora an extra manual twist... Now Dora does not twist or dance anymore... That is 50% of the fun.Her vocabulary is very limited. My husband threw away the box the next day and now I can not return it. One positive comment-My grand daughter did learn how to say Pink in spanish.

BEST DOLL

Great toy!
I got this toy for my twin sons when they were about 3 months old, now they are 20 months and still love him! He attatches great to the front bar of my Twin Savvy. He makes alot of noises and still keeps them occupied. WE do have to rotate toys now that the twins are older and get bored easily, but Pupsqueak is a favorite! He withstands washings and teething, spit ups, and biting, and even attempts to drop him off the stroller! He makes a cute barking noise and he has alot of little things for a baby to teeth on and to look at. My sons like to fiddle with the rings and hold him, they enjoy listening to him and of course "eating" him. I am surprized in the durablility of all my Lamaze toys and I really didnt think that they would last this long! They are just wonderful! My sons get a kick out of pupsqeak and he really is captivating from birth to childhood, a great toy that will last for years!

PUPSQUEAK!
Next to BR Max the monkey (also by Lamaze) and Zach's "lovey", pupsqueak is his favorite toy. Zach is four months old and really really loves pupsqueak. We use him to give variety to our son and Zach really loves him! If we make pupsqueak squeak, Zach goes into hysterics, and my 20 month old twins join in! ITs perfect for those really silent times when everyone needs a good laugh. Along with Max, pups (what we call him) is perfect for tummy time. Pups is also great for teathing, once Zach really starts getting those teeth in! Pups attatches well to almost anything, but my boistrus ball of fire gets so angrey and fustrated if we tether him to anything, he likes to hold him. Pups is very durable and has been easily spot cleaned and even in the wash! The colors are great for my son to stare at and he just loves him. I dont know what it is about Lamaze toys but they sure do put alot of thought into them to make them so gosh darn cute and interesting!

WOW
I am dumbfounded. I have two sets of twins, 8 Month B/B and 3 year old B/G. ALL of them LOVE this toy. My older twins enjoy making him a "baby". And giving him kisses amd making him do all kinds of tricks. They could do this with almost anytoy, but the ADORE pupsqueak. That Said I have 2 others wich I gave to my boys. They LOOVVVEE him too! I was amazed. I dont know if its just because hes a dog, (their lovey toys are a black and white dog and a brown and white dog, and they love our boxer and golden retriever mix) or maybe its just because PUPSQUEAK ROCKS! They love it when I attatch him to their carseats, They just got "big boy" carseats and pupsqeak of course had to make the transition too! A few weeks ago we went on a 8 hour car ride, I know that my youngest twins stayed quite mostly because they were soooo comfy in their marathons, and because they had... PUPSQUEAK! They had the option to play with other lamaze toys, which they loved but those just dont compare to pupsqueak. They even like him in the crib and in the stroller, a versitile little toy. Not worth the money
This toy would have great potention to be both fun and educational, if only you could hear what elmo is saying.The sound of the jaw moving covers every word coming out of elmo's mouth rendering the toy useless.As a result my son (19 months) would rather play with his other elmo doll, that says not a word but it great to cuddle with.And this elmo just sits on a shelf rarely touched.Don't waste your money.

Poor Quality...darn
Despite the poor reviews on this item, I bought it for my then-12-month-old who loves Elmo. Out of the box, when Elmo would talk, his mouth would "click, click, click" and get stuck. This is exactly what all the reviews I had read stated. Amazon promptly exchanged it for me, and the same happens with our new one, although not as badly.

It's still a cute toy in terms of educational value. And I like that it can sit up on its own. But it is a very hard "stuffed animal" and not so great for cuddling.

If you're a huge Elmo fan and feel you must have this, know what you're getting in terms of reliability and quality.At the clearance price, I'd say it's worth a shot. I gave it a rating of 2 overall because it consistently fails to perform as designed.

the best elmo on the market!
i bought this item for my one year old daughter.although it's a little sophisticated for her, she loves elmo and we play with it together.he says lots of fun phrases and is a much better looking elmo doll than most of the others i have seen.i have but one complaint, i thought the way elmo moves his mouth when he "speaks" was a great feature but it occasionally sticks and makes a loud popping noise.it scares the baby, so she doesn't play with it as often as she might otherwise.overall, i still think it's great and she'll have even more fun with it when she gets a bit older. ... My daughter loves it!
I got this toy for my 2 year old daughter for Christmas and she just adores it!She laughs at him all the time.He really only will work on a hard surface, on a softer surface he won't turn in a full circle, so since he can only work on a hard surface it can be a bit loud, but her happiness is all that matters to me. So fun I give 5 stars.Its not very educational which is why I only gave it 3 stars for that.As for durability I've only had it for a week so long time durability I can't rate, but so far it's 5 stars. And since she has so much fun with him, I rate this 5 stars overall!

The little ones really appreciate this toy!
My daughter got Barney for Christmas when she was a year old.That was last year and he's still one of her favorites.Barney jumps and sings to the delight of my daughter.When I turn Barney off(occasionally I need a break from the songs) my daughter still loves on him-pushing him in the stroller, etc... She has hauled this toy all around, thrown, beat, and wrestled him.He is still going strong!Great toy!

My daughters love this
We have this toy and both my 2 and 3 year old enjoy it. They love to sing and dance with Barney. We have replaced the batteries several times and Barney just keeps going.This toy isn't very educational but it does build their coordination as they try to do what Barney does.If you have a little one who loves to dance he/she will also love this toy.We also have hokey pokey Elmo and they love him too!! ... soft and cuddly
I got this for my little girl, she is nine months and loves Bear.I wanted to get her something and had a hard time finding bear in in big blue house items.I am very pleased because it is a very soft talking doll.Most talking plushes are too stiff because of the voice box.This one is great!

Looks great...
Bear looks great and is so cute, my daughter loved him when she saw him, then she heard his voice... the voice didn't sound like bear at all,even after replacing the batteries. It was lower and kind of scary. I'm not sure if this was an individual issue, but she hasn't really taken to this toy.

We Love Bear!!
My son loves Bear in the Big Blue House. We got him Bear for Christmas last year and he hasn't had a day without his friend. He drags him everywhere. I did have to wash bear after getting really dirty and his voice recording was fine after the wash. His hair did kink up after but that did not phase my son. My 14 month old still enjoys it...
We bought this before our son was born and use it almost every day still, even at 14 months old.The remote doesn't work very well for us and sometimes it takes a while to manually turn the music off but overall, this is a great product.We even bring it with us when we travel as a family.We love it!

Great toy and soother
We bought this for our daughter when she was 3 months old.She is 22 months, still loves Pooh, and it still helps her go to sleep.During this time, I have memorized "Pooh's Lullabee", which is featured in "The Tigger Movie".When I started singing this song to her the other night, she started looking for Pooh.Shortly after getting it I had to remove the music box because she was swinging Pooh around and I didn't want her to hurt herself, actually when I tried to put the box back in Pooh she cried.She loves to hold the music box and will not let it go any farther than the instrumental version of "Pooh's Lullabee".She pushes the button herself and when I hear the nature sounds I know she is asleep.I put this as educational because I let her play with the remote and she is starting to learn that Pooh causes him to sing, the bird is the nature sounds, and the music note is the other songs.She also has figured out that if she puts her hand over the speaker the volume decreases.She still cuddles up with Pooh and Piglet while listening to the music, and having the music box separate allows me to take it out of her crib without removing Pooh so she can't accidentally start him in her sleep.As far as the durability, I am very impressed and extremely pleased because she is not easy on toys.My biggest complaint would be my TV remote sets Pooh off only because when she hears him she has to have him.I am sad that Fisher-Price no longer manufactures this.

He sticks out both his right hand and foot, shakes his body all about, then smoothly spins in place, thanks to a rotating platform under one foot. Elmo even spices up the beat, and sporadically speeds up the action; both innovations crank up the fun factor. My todler loves it!
I bought this for my son about two months ago. And I believe I must have gotten the most durable one. My 20 month old son was only dancing with him the first two weeks, until he discover that it's more fun to squeeze him, while he shakes, then throw him against the floor or wall. So far it has been over a month, and the Elmo is still singing, dancing, and saying oops or thank you. I would recomend this toy to any one.

Good times for kids
My 2 year old has this and loves it. He's already a huge fan of Elmo, so I'm sure that helps. The toy itself is rather neat since it pretty much does the hokey pokey. Elmo puts in his hand in, his leg in and he shakes all about, then he turns around in a circle. Doesn't work so good on carpet, better on smooth surfaces. The sound it good and lucky for us parents, the song doesn't last too long. If you tip him upside down he says "whoopsie!", and something about needing to be turned back upright. Cute toy. very cute, but the music is too loud
My 1-year-old daughter loves this "baby".I had one of these as a kid, and it was almost impossible to turn on, but this one turns on very easily when she hugs it.She also seems to really like the music.

The only thing I don't like is that the music is too loud.If she accidentally turns it on in her sleep, it's loud enough to wake her back up.So while it's an adorable toy, I wouldn't recommend it for bedtime.

Glo-ee - We Love It!
My daughter loves the Gloworm.I like the fact that it is small enough for my 11 month old to hold herself.It seems smaller than the older Gloworm that I remember.Sadie loves the light and the music.She has finally figured out how to turn the music on by herself.It is so cute to see her get so excited when Glo-ee shows up.She hugs the doll so tightly.

It is nice that the toy has different switches - one for the light by itself and one for both lights and music.I wish there was just an on/off switch because, when the batteries start running out, the worm makes weird sounds!

I also like the fact that the inside mechanism can be removed and the doll itself can be washed - even in the machine, which I consider a bonus.

My only criticism would be that the toy is very draining on batteries. We are on our third set in less than a month, and that includes cheap as well as expensive batteries.

Good choice for the price
My 9 month old daughter just received this toy as a gift. At first it doesn't look like much, but it turns out to be pretty entertaining. Care Bear Laugh Alot Sing Along Bear
My 2 yr old loves this bear...She loves to listen to the songs, she plays it over and over again. She hugs the bear and puts it in her doll stroller..So cute....

My Baby Loves It
My 10 month old baby girl received this as a gift from her Auntie and she loves it.

When the music comes on she smiles and bounces with him.

She loves to hug him.

You would still need to monitor a baby with this toy because it the age recommendation and the eyes and nose are plastic and could be a choaking hazard.

Disappointment on Christmas
I bought this doll four months before Christmas and stocked it back for my 2 year old for Christmas. When I tried it out on Christmas at 2 in the morning I discovered that my Jeff doll had a split personality and thought he was Anthony. I am still trying to get the toy company to replace this doll. This doll says all the things Anthony is suppose to say. My daughter thinks Jeff is crazy.

We love Jeff!But . . . .
I got my son all 4 of the Wiggles dolls, and since Jeff is his favorite he got him first.

Within minutes I decided to do a little "surgery" on Jeff.He was way too loud, and I knew it would soon get on our nerves, so I removed his battery/speaker pack (which was difficult because it's tightly sewn in).I managed to get it out, and put tape over the speaker, so Jeff now sings in a much more pleasing volume.I have a feeling I'll be doing this to the rest of the Wiggles too.

Second problem - the paint on Jeff's hands is wearing off here and there.Of course this doesn't take away from the fun, but I expected it to be more durable as a Children's toy.

Overall, if someone in your house is a Wiggles Fan, these dolls are a must-have.They say "Hi my name is . . . " and sing a couple songs, my son loves taking Jeff wherever he goes.

Grab Jeff While You Can!
By far, Jeff is the hardest one of the Wiggles to find so when Amazon gets him back in stock, be sure to grab him fast.He sells out pretty fast and I'm glad I got mine while I had the opportunity.These dolls are so great and wonderful for the imagination.Plus, if you have boys, they really are nice to have since there are so many other things out there just for girls.We have all four of these dolls and boy, are they durable and well worth the money.Great buy too! ... This Care Bear is the greatest!!!!
My daughter received Share Bear for her first birthday from my mom, and has not stopped playing with it since.She has had it for over a year and it has saved us from a plethora of whining during car trips.She loves to hear it singing, "Row, Row, Row, Your Boat, If You're and You Know it, and my favorite and her's, The wheels on the bus."This toy makes a great gift, and the price is cheaper than it was when my mom bought it, which makes it more affordable.I know my daughter has had a lot of enjoyment out of this toy, and the batteries have just now expired, so you don't have to worry about the batteries going dead right away.I just love this toy!!!

adorable little toys
My daughter got 4 of these (different of course) for Christmas last year, she was almost 9 months old.I have already purchased a 5th for this Christmas and will probably get more if I find them.They seem to be more fun the more you have, she still doesn't know which one to watch while they are singing, too cute!!!!!I haven't replaced batteries or had a problem w/the hand mechanism on any of them.But she doesn't drag them around day in and day out either.

9.98 for a reason
You get what you pay for in this case.My daughter was given this as a gift a year ago and it has been a dust collector ever since.She hates this ELMO because is falls over.He should be called clumsy ELMO.My daughter has the Hokey Pokey ELMO too and that is a 10+.

Lil Jay's mommy and her thoughts!
Well my son has SO MANY elmo toys that dance and sing and I must say this one is GREAT! Ours has never fallen over unless my son pushed him and the song and dance are TOO CUTE!! It makes everyone wanna get up and dance my 1 year old gets a kick out of it and even shakes his arms like elmo! The limbo stick is quite irritating though I would think they would have attached it to elmo! Its basically pointless my son chews on it but thats about it! Overall this toy is GREAT just minus the limbo stick!

Just Adorable!
Talk about an adorable bear, this one certainly is. Koda talks to you and kicks his little feet and giggles, giggles and giggles.You have to smile as he just lightens up the room.
The little one I gave it to just loved it and walked around all day pressing the button to giggle with Koda.
This is really a nice bear, lovable and fun.

Don't buy this toy
I bought 3 of these for Christmas gifts.The one I bought my daughter was broken.They come with a 90 day warrenty but I do my shopping throughout the year so I had already had it for 4 months.The company refused to help me out.Now I have a crying 3 year old and a broken dog with no way of getting a working one as no where around carries these any more.Stear clear of products made by MGA they are very unprofessional when dealing with customer service.I offered them the receipt and pictures showing it wasn't opened before x-mas but they still won't honor it.The dogs that do work sometimes have faulty movements and will start walking without being prompted to walk.I hope that this keeps others from going through what I have.Any decent company would make an exception to the time limit of their warrenty.

Daisy was received with missing contacts in the battery compartment. They didn't just fall out, they were gone. I can't believe they (ToysRus) would ship such an obviously defective unit. Now it is out of stock and no replacement available. A real christmas dud. ... Read more

Very cute & cuddley
this toy is so....cute. It kinda has a purring sound. I think it has beads in it. (its still cute though.) So at least you don't have to change the batteries. Its a good toy for any loin king lover. Also I think that it is for younger kids, and not for the age group they say it is. But it is very cuddely. (plus who could not think that this toy isn't cute.) But I guess it the only thing it could teach is that cats purr. So over all it is cute & a little fun. ^_^

little bit of fun
I purchased this for my 1 yr old and was a little disappointed.It has balls inside that roll around (supposedly sounds like a purr).My little one really justs laughs at me when I try to get him to play with it.My 6 yr old picked it up this morning and said "I think it's broke, there is something rolling around inside."Not bad for the price I guess.

I don't get it....
I really don't get it.It says its paws are weighted, well with what,Lead?
