So much fun!
We actually purchased this product through the One Step Ahead catalog... same sand and water table, but different color and ours came with a plastic tarp for underneath the table. My husband put it together this morning, and we took our 16 month old son outside on our deck and used it immedately! He absolutely loves it! He had the best time splashing the water, using the toys and playing with the sand. I would highly recommend this product. The assembly took less than 5 minutes... and it seems very sturdy. The cover is also very convenient and seems to stay put. I know my son will enjoy it for months to come. Just buy it!

Disappointed
I purchased this item because of all the good reviews and was very disappointed in it's performance.The table constantly leaked rain water into the sand and there was nothing I could do to stop it.The manufacturer also declined to assist me with a fix for this problem.The store offered to replace the item with a receipt, that of cource, was discarded after the first few weeks.Not a happy purchase, but my grandchildren did enjoy playing in the mud.

Great Table!
After a very disappointing experience with the Little Tikes Sand and Water Table, I purchased this one for my daughter.Wow!What a difference!The table was SO easy to assemble!I LOVE the cover -- it has elastic for a snug fit.We had a pretty heavy rain storm yesterday; the cover didn't blow off, and the sand stayed very dry.We look forward to many days of sandy, splashy fun with this table! ... Sagging Center
I haven't read all 42 reviews so this may be a repeat.We have found it necessary to shore up the middle of this wonderfully entertaining toy.We've had it on our patio since early spring of 2004 and it has had a lot of use but the center started to sag.We found a large flower pot that measured the exact height and just pushed it under the center.Works like a charm and we should get many more years of fun.

Where can you buy??
Can someone please tell me WHERE they bought theirs??I am in in Chicagoland area and have checked TRUand meijer's with no luck.

We Love this !!!
I bought this for my 3 1/2 year old son and he loves it . Actually we all love it ! My 10 , 8 and 5 and 3 year olds had more fun with this than I think anything we have ever bought . This is much better than a typical sandbox which they love but can't all play in at the same time. All four of my kids pulled up a chair around the table and had a blast and plenty of room !They played for at least 2 hours and didn't even want to come in then . It was a bit messy but what can you expect . Anything can be put in here to spark imagination .You don't have to just use sand and water .The possibilities are endless ! This is going to be a life saver this summer . This was money well spent . I would recommend this to anyone .
It was easy to put together and I feel the legs were very sturdy . I didn't even put the screws in it because I like the idea of being able to take them out to store it over the winter unless we bring it in for the winter.I just made sure I pushed them all the way in. Ialready cleaned it out and tipped it over to rinse it and had no trouble with the legs coming loose or out or anything . I am saving the screws just in case I need them later !

Thinking about it
I`m looking for a toy that will be both good inside and out. I know this is for outside but if you have the space and want a cool place to chill out, this might be it! I haven't purchsed this toy but it looks like a lot of fun! The only reson I rated this toy 3 stars for durability is because of other reviews. I know I said I don't have it yet but I could'nt write this review without giving it stars. So don't decide if you will buy this toy because of me.

Disappointing
I agree with the other disappointed review. The rainbow didn't curve, the dolphins didn't stand up, and the pool kept deflating (obviously a hole in it). Too much work for a nice sunny day when I just want to go out and play with my toddler, not work while my toddler plays. I'm going back to a standard plastic pool after this experience.

Pain in the a$$
don't waste your money here. this pool is a bear to setup and will most likely cost you as much in lost water as the pool itself. Very aggravating to get setup and requires constant maintenance. When they say level ground, they mean perfectly level. UNfortunately, this is not a good solution and the old adage "you get what you pay for" is accurate once again. Customer Service is almost non-existent and if you want proof look up intex-corp on the better business bureau site.

Soo fuun!
I just love this pool, me and my budies swim around in it all the time and its so good to have a poolparty in it! My parents likes to swim in it too and that is so good beacouse when we swim around in that pool the hole family is togheter and that wasent often before but now it is!

great toy for over 4
My son go the big bubbler from the easter bunny and we have used it just about everyday since. He loves the huge bubbles, its really a lot of fun. It is to long for a 3 year old to use alone. My son is 3 1/2 and he can pull the wand out from the holder by himself, its just to long and akward. I hold the case though and he can easily put the wand in and pull it out for the huge bubbles. I would buy it again!

IF YOUR CHILD LOVES BUBBLES...THEN THIS IS A "MUST"!
I have two boys 4yrs. and 7yrs. old...And this easter...They got this item in their baskets. I MUST SAY IT IS THE COOLEST TOY! And of course being new...I had to see "just how it worked" before turning it over to them...

Well it was hard to give over. I was having such a blast with the large bubbles that it makes.

My 4 yr. old needs NO assistance in using this item. Though the area that holds the bubbles doesn't stand...And he is sort of small to hold it and enjoy the full effect of the bubble/sword maker. That I just tucked that part on a lawn chair. And they both were outside for over an hour! I was so thrilled when they found something else to do. For it left the bubbler open for mom to have her fun!

My 4 yr. old also went in a circle and made a unique bubble that looked like a donut! I wish I had my camera out for that momment. So...next time we have them out...Camera will be waiting a SWEET momment to capture.

Bought it as a big ball pit!
My two year old son loves to play in ball pits, the problem is that all the real ball pits on the market allow for the balls to spill out (I'm sure to avoid lawsuits) after the first layer of balls, so he could never really "swim" in them like at those big parks or Chuck E. Cheese's. So I picked this one up and used it as a ball pit. It's perfect because it's close to the ground so he can run and jump inside, and it's a great size. Not too big, not too small. It's takes about 600-700 balls to fill up and it takes the usual "ruff-housing" that is associated with ball pits. The best part is that it came with a diffrent pattern that from the picture, not fish on the side but balls, so it turned out great.

punctured in one day
We received this pool as a present for our 1 year old.She had so much fun with it.She was able to get in and out of the pool on her own (she figured out you could hold on to the corners while swinging your feet in).She loved the inflatable sides- she would hang over them and splash in the water.However, this pool lasted only one afternoon before it got a hole in the lower chamber.I tried patching it twice but the pool was deflated the next day.As for the sun shade, our daughter thought it was a game pulling it off the velcro.It was not sturdy at all.I am going out tomorrow to buy a hard plastic pool!

Sun shade pool
When I purchased this pool I thought it would be great to keep the sun off the kids. I blew up the 2 pieces with a electric pump and the canopy would not stay full of air and it was too heavy to stay up. They only have velcro to hold it in place. great floatie
I bought this floatie earlier this summer for my 8 month old daughter.It was the only one I could find that was suggested for her age and had a built in shade. I don't have to worry about her head getting burned.She has had a lot of fun floating in the pool using the buggy. I was very happy to find that it is very sturdy, and it does help keep her out of the sun.I definitely recommend this floatie.

DONT GO TO THE BEACH WITHOUT THIS FLOAT
MY SON HAD A BLAST IN THE CAR AT THE BEACH. HE IS 11 MONTHS AND LOVE RIDING OVER THE WAVES. HE LOVES IT IN THE POOL AS WELL. HEY MOMS THE TOP OF THIS CAR HAS A ROOF FOR SUN PROTECTION. GREAT PRODUCT. LOVE IT!!!

Best Shaded baby boat
I tried every baby boat with a shade out there for our 10 month old as we live in sunny AZ. This was the best one I tried, and it's very cute. Although it could be easier to get him in and out, it isn't bad if you just tilt the canopy over to the side. I would suggest velcro on the BACK supports to alleviate this. (My friend has a bulldozer boat that has velcro in the FRONT and the baby plays with the velcro a lot.) The "spring float" allows him to sit too low in the water and he keeps putting his face in the water unless you hold him upright continuously. I think the spring float would be more appropriate for about 18 months rather than 9 months as it says (and my boy is not small!). The "adjustable shade float" is okay as a boat, but the shade is horrible. It doesn't really sit over the baby's head for shade and it is so floppy that doesn't stay nice and rounded like the picture shows, even if you overinflate it. We even took the "sun smart buggy" on vacation with us, and several people at the resort wanted to know where we got it. ... Read more

DISAPPOINTING AFTER A FEW USES!
This toy is great at first, after a few uses it stopped working,I cleaned the inside and the battery compartment out of all solution and it still did not work.I did not overfill just stopped working.Good for a cheap thrill that is about all:O)

Great! --- if it wouldn't croak so quickly ...
This bubble machine's life is VERY limited. We had one for a few weeks and got another for a birthday present just in time as the first one croaked. Now 2 weeks later the new one is dead. I will keep returning it to get it replaced throughout the summer because the idea is fantastic and the kids LOVE it (the dogs too). I guess you get what you pay for. $12 for a couple weeks of entertainment is pretty good.

Fun while they (yes, we've been through 3) lasted
Great fun to begin with, tons and tons of bubbles.

Unfortunately we haven't had one live more than a week or so - we don't overfill it, we clean it with each use, we store it indoors, we replace the batteries to verify that isn't the issue, etc.

I love this
I love this toy.We gave my son the Little Tykes discovery sounds work shop for Christmas and this tool belt for his birthday.He uses one with the other which makes it even better.The only thing I was disappointed with was the actual belt part.It fell apart within about two weeks.We don't use the belt any more just the tools.He still loves it.

LOVE IT!
I have two sets of twins, B/G who turned 3 in Feburary and B/B who will be one in august. With that said they ALL love to watch daddy work. My older twins really enjoy playing with "daddies fix it kit" (what they call his tool chest). I do allow them to play for a little while, (veryy carefully supervised I might add!)but I felt they needed their own tools that I wouldnt have to worry about them hurting eachother with. I did recieve a wooden tool set, which works great and is very cute but I needed atleast one more. We do have a "Hand-me-down" tool center but sadly the previous owners lost the tools. I saw this set and LOVED it. The little belt was fabulous, (now they fight over that) and I love the little beeper, although my kids dont seem to understand what its for, they really only know about cell phones LOL. I do have a bob the builder hard hat which is also adorable. But to the reviewers who wanted a tool chest, well I know my children wanted tools by seeing us use the real ones. So if you are inclined to using tools just make one! My husband actually made two. This set is absolutely adorable and I do not need to worry about my children hurting eachother with "daddies tools". Sure they dont look to realistic, (Im sure my kids know they arent real) but they are made for toddelers. I know that eventually my kids will grow up and want "realistic looking tools" (like the home depot sets which are ADORABLE by the way, just my kids arent quite "ready" for that). All in all my two little "baby builders" have fixed everything in sight! They hammer tables, they drill in the couches, they twist all their toys (with that wrench I think it is LOL) and they page all of their clients! I am definatly sure that I made the right choice in buying this tool set for my second one. I am even thinking about storing away the wooden set I got as a gift (my children seem to be forever in the "throwing" stage and I dont exactly enjoy the little marks I find on the walls) until they are old enough to understand that these toys are for the tool center only. I hope I have this tool set for years to come and plan on passing it down to my younger twins, that is if their brother and sister will let me!

My Little builder loves it!
My 20 month old son loves to hammer everything, including things that he just shouldn't, but it's all in good fun. Up til now he has been using legos and pop-onzs to build a hammer. After finding this set I knew it was a winner! It is chunky for little fingers so he can use the tools easily and he loves the pager. (that was a nice touch) He thinks he is big like his daddy with tools like his. Eric is not to sure about the belt itself, maybe he will get the point when he gets bigger. Tooting in the Tub
My 6 and 9 year old boys both love this toy. They usually take showers now because they're big boys but the first day we had the flutes they both spent about 2 hours in the tub. The song book pages are laminated so they won't fall apart if they fall in the water. I even heard my husband trying them out, so they were a big hit in the house. My nephews love these!
I bought these for my nephews and they totally love them!

My sister says they won't go in the bath without them. They tap on the drums and then tap on the tub, wall, and spout to get all kinds of cool sounds and rhythms going. They also use them to dump water on their head to rinse shampoo and as a view scope to see the bottom of the tub through the bubble bath.

Good clean fun. Highly recommended.

You may as well throw your money into the nearest trash can
My kids couldnt wait until I put this together for them to play with it. After 10 minutes with it they were both crying because it wouldn't blow bubbles, and they could hardly push it. Despite my husbands and my best efforts we couldnt get this thing to work. I give up, it is going in the garbage.

Do not by this mower.It doesn't blow any bubbles, and is difficult to push.My three-year old was very disappointed and so was I.I checked the directions and we were doing everything correctly...directions are simple....We'll be returning it promptly for a refund.

disappointed in quality
we bought this pool for our 3 kids (6, 4, 2 years). The pool comes with lots of activities. The slide was what attracted my kids to this particular pool. Unfortunately, after a few uses the slide teared at the seams. I needed to tape up the slide, but I'm sure we won't get the season out of this pool. My kids still have a blast in the pool. It is really hard to empty the water. The one drain plug isn't enough. I usually have to scoop water out and then tip it upside down.

Great Pool
We got this for my 1 year old daughters birthday party last year! It is just GREAT! I would say we had atleast 20 kids in and out of the pool going down the slide, etc... and it has held up wonderfully! We have taken it out again this year and it is still nt great shape, it is a pain to deflat and inflate but luckily we have a garage we can store it in and leave it half inflated! But I highly recommend this pool my daughter loves it!! A++++++++

Nice Pool
I got this for my four year old last year.It's very cute and he enjoyed it.However, there are several parts and pieces to inflate and deflate. If you don't have some kind of electric pump don't even consider this pool. Honestly deflating the stuff took more time though.
So, as far as enjoyability, the kinds love this pool.We used it for my son's birthday party and several kids played fine in and around it.But, you as a parent are not going to enjoy the time it takes to put it up and down (if you're not going to just leave it inflated in your backyard all summer).

HUGE disappointment
We had purchased the table for our 2 year old. As with other reviews I have just read, the two ends of the table do not fit together, making it impossible to use it as it was designed. Also, the plug does not fit correctly, causing the all of the water to leak out. I am VERY unimpressed with this product and expected far more from something with the Little Tikes name on it. I would not recommend this sand and water table to anyone.

My kids love it!!!
We also have had this sand table outside for 2 years and it has held up great.My 3 year old and 18 month old think it is the best toy they have.Both kids have long attention spans at this table. Putting it together initially was frustrating, but once you figure it out it will be very easy. I would have given it 5 stars if two things were changed...1. The drain should have been designed to pull from the bottom where it wouldn't be so tempting for kids to pull out. 2. If water did not get into the lid of the unit.Otherwise...it's priceless.

Not as fun or convenient as we thought
We bought this table 2 years ago.When we first had it we used it inside.I put water in both sides in a room with vinyl floors and towels underneath, and my daughter's playgroup had a blast with it.Closing the table up however was nearly impossible (I don't think I have ever been able to do it...always have to wait for my husband to open or close it up).We never once used it as a drawing table when closed up...it is too tall to sit at and the table surface isn't so smooth.

Last summer we put the table outside...we put itslightly under cover under our swingset's gazebo (with an awning) to help "protect" it from the elements.Well after one season the table was gross...rain water still got trapped in the two pieces (I am frightened to know what sort of mildew must be growing in there!). The whole lid is all mildewed, so it will never come in my house as an activity table. Even when we closed the lid, the sand got soaked.There were times that I was scooping out buckets of water so the kids might be able to play in the sand.

And although it is a great idea to have sand and water play side by side...it just doesn't work with how 2-4 year olds play.Our water side always had sand in it (perhaps it was also from the rain?).

We haven't opened it up yet this year...we are debating about just getting rid of it, but perhaps we will try some of the suggestions to drill holes to drain the water and we will give it a good powerwash first.It is a shame, because I am sure my 1.5 and 4.5 year olds would love to play in it again this year...who knows if it will be around next summer. ... Great Swimmy Float
We purchased this float for my daughter last summer. She was 14 months old and 20 pounds. She loved it! I liked it because it had the shade on top to keep her from getting sun burned. She enjoyed the balls that float in the top and that she could manouver very well in it. One thing I didn't really care for was that the cover did not detach so you have now choice but to keep it on. Great product and highly recommended.

A Good buy
I was very pleased overall with this float.We purchased it last year (2002)for my daughter to use.She was 7 mo. and about 18 pounds.She cried the first time we put her in it, but once we showed her the squeaking balls she loved it.I liked the fact I could flip back the roof and bars to take out my daughter.Plus, so many baby floats don't have a sunroof to help protect a baby's delicate skin and this one does. ... Too Hard to Assemble
I bought this table for my 17-month-old. It took way too long to assemble the castle and it continually falls apart. I wish I had read the reviews before I had bought this product. I deifnitely would NOT recommend it to anyone.

Dad just doesn't pay attention to advise!
I was looking for a sand & water table for my 16 month old, and I always read the reviews before i buy so I know how other parents experiences have gone with the products.Well I wanted the water table that has a water wheel and just to buy a sandbox for him to play in... but dad thought the reviews were harsh and just LOVED this table so he came home with it... and now he hates the table as much as I do.It is not sturdy, it is not age appropriate for our 16 month old, and it is just overall messy having sand & water in the same place (I'm not a neat freak, it's just annoying having something like mud on everything ALL the time!)We decided to toss it in the trash and go with my original plan....it wasn't worth returning, I just needed to get it out of my home ASAP.

Lack of space - disappointing
My son received this toy as a gift for his first birthday.With my husband and I working together, it took to long to assemble.The castle continually falls apart.I was actually very excited about this toy, however I was disappointed after the first use.The amount of sand and water is very limited and the idea of putting sand in the middle of the water - BAD IDEA!I would of liked to see the areas either wider or deeper.We had to keep re-filling the water portion because so much would just splash out.I know my son is still young, but his only goal was to move the sand to the water.Needless to say we had a big mess, which I can understand.Overall, I was disappointed with this toy. ... A really nice pool
We've had this pool now for what will be our third summer. My son has enjoyed it since he was only 5 months old and is now 2. The sides are wide and sturdy enough for him to sit/lay on without caving the whole thing in and he loves bouncing up and down on the tail. So far it's held up, no leaks and I'm rather surprised since most blow up pools don't last 1 summer. Anyways, the blow hole is a fun feature (you hook it up to the hose) that my son loves as well. Another nice thing is that the pool is large enough for me to sit in with my legs fully extended (I'm 5'7). Inflating it takes some time and massive effort if you don't have an electric pump, so we keep it inflated all year round and just store in rafters in the garage during the winter. This is a great pool.

A God Send
I bought this pool for my 1 yr old daughter in 2003 and we used it all summer long.We would typically take it down after a few uses to let the lawn breathe.It withstood this many many times and never once gave us a problem.We haven't set it up this year yet but I don't expect it to give us many problems due to it's durabilty. My daughter just loves this pool and I would buy it again or atleast one from the same makers.

Slick bottom - very scary
This pool looked so cute and I thought it would be perfect for my toddler.But he isn't the kind to sit still in water.I put him in the first time and he slipped and fell.Everytime he tried to stand up - he fell again.Within minutes he didn't want anything to do with this pool - and he loves water!I tried putting a bath mat in the bottom of the pool - but even that wouldn't stick.A waste of money!

Great baby pool!
My daughter was about 15 months old when she began using this pool, and though a little hesitant at first, she quickly grew to love it.The recommended age is three years old, but with constant adult supervision there is no reason why a younger child cannot enjoy this pool.The cabana is also great to keep the sun's rays off the baby.We have used the pool many times throughout the summer and have never had a problem with it leaking and with an air pump it blew up in no time.If you want just a simple baby pool this is a great one.

Splish, Splashin Fun!
We recently started using this pool with our 1 year old son. He LOVES it! Initially, he was a little hesitant, as the water was probably colder than what he was used to, but he sat and played and played and splashed for ages! Of course, 100% parental supervision is required for an activity like this, but it's 100% worthwhile! The inflatable sunshade is great to keep the harmful UVA/UVB rays from your child's delicate skin and also helps to keep them from getting overheated. We haven't had any difficulty with the pool deflating, and the vinyl seems to be much stronger than the stuff pool toys were made from when I was a kid.
