2-0 out of 5 stars 'The King' has broken his arm...
This is the 4th male doll we've owned from Mattel to have a broken arm. We've had three seperate Alan dolls from the Happy Family Collection with this problem.I must say that the company was very good in handling this, so I thought it must have been unique to the particular doll.My 8yr old then received King Dominick as a gift.Lo and behold, his arm was broken in no time at all, but unfortunately not before all of the packaging had been disposed of!So, let's see if I can exchange this with no box and no reciept.I'd like to say I'd never buy these again but the girls beg for them!
I,too, would have liked to see a seperate Julian doll.I have 4 girls close in age who like to play together so someone has to use the 'pretend' character- the Ken masquerading as Julian.

5-0 out of 5 stars This Ken Doll is U-G-L-Y
This is one of the ugliest dolls I have ever seen in my entire

life. His hair looks like a wig, and his face looks like a

monkey. He makes me sick.I really think this doll should be

taken off the market, as it is probably going to give some

small children nightmares.I hope I never have to look into

the face of this hideous doll again.Thanks.

2-0 out of 5 stars disappointment
Disappointed that Tutor Julian is not sold as a separate doll.My granddaughter loves playing with her Barbie/Ken doll (Princess and the Pauper) but wants a Julian doll. Can't find one anywhere. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A GREAT Game! Better than the fist!
I have to say this game was enjoyable. I loved it better than the first. Why? Because you start off as a Jedi. People are complaining that the game isn't hard enough? Please! It's perfect just the way it is! I want to enjoy the game not get upset because it is TOO hard to play. What enjoyent can you get out of that? The graphics are off the charts! You won't be disappointed I promise! The ending is, maybe not the best BUT think of it this way maybe the reason it ended the way it did it's because it goes directly into "Knights of the old Republic: 3" Please tell me there ispart 3 coming out!

4-0 out of 5 stars Quite good, but with a few flaws
The original Knights of the Old Republic was a superb game, one of the best I'd played in quite some time. So naturally I was very excited when I heard that a sequel was on the way. Now that I've played through it a couple of times (once each for the light side and the dark side), here are my thoughts:

The first thing that struck me about the game was how similar it is to its predecessor. The gameplay has been tweaked here and there with a few new variables thrown into the mix, but for the most part it plays just like the first game. The graphics may have been slightly improved in a couple of areas, but for the most part the look of this game is indistinguishable from that of the first. This is fine, though. I was hoping to see some better visuals this time around, but the graphics suffice, and the gameplay was solid to begin with, so why make any drastic changes?

One area in which this game falls short, however, is in the story. I do like the characters, the dialogue is well written, and there are certainly some interesting events to be discovered, but the overarching story was often vague and uninteresting. I sometimes found myself getting impatient in long exposition scenes because I couldn't bring myself to care overly much about what was happening. That never occurred in the first KOTOR. The ending of the game was especially disappointing in this regard. I kept waiting for the point to come where the plot would reach a level commensurate with the level of tension and anticipation that the developers were obviously trying to create, but it never came. The last couple hours of the game were sadly anticlimactic.

My other complaint is in regards to the game's difficulty, or more appropriately, its lack thereof. Even if you turn the difficulty setting to High, a decent player will find that there's not one point in the game that presents any real challenge. Your main character will have no trouble annihilating everything that crosses his path. The first KOTOR was too easy as well, in my opinion, but the problem is more pronounced in the sequel.

Don't get me wrong; it's still fun, and I certainly recommend it. After the brilliant Knights of the Old Republic was released to such wide acclaim, the expectations placed upon this game were very high, and the fact that it fell short doesn't mean it's not worth your time. It's a good game. It just could have been better than it is.

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent game, but not as good as first
When I heard about the sequel to one of my favorite RPGs (Role playing games), I was excited by the fact that I might be able to pick up where I left off in KotOR I. Although I wasn't dissapointed, there are still some flaws in the game to keep it from getting 5 stars.

First the good. KotOR II uses almost exactly the same engine as the original which is perfectly fine because it was a solid engine that was easy to use and one that I was already familiar with from KotOR I. The other thing I liked better was the fact that you start off as a Jedi instead of getting halfway through the game and learning the ways of the Force as in KotOR I. Also the increased amount of force powers and the additional force prestige classes allowed the player to custimize the character better.

Now the bad. The story was lacking, plain and simple. Most of the time I am wondering why I am somewhere and why I am fighting this person. I had to play the game through three times to completly understand the end. To play through 3 times took me about a month compared to KotOR I which took much longer.

In conclusion, the game was a good extension to KotOR I, but failed to have that huge climax in the middle or end. The game just kind of ended. So, if you really liked KotOR I i suggest getting KotOR II but get the original first. ... Read more

Editorial Review

This neon green and grape roller coaster is impressive in both size andscope. When fully built the coaster stretches 6 feet long and stands 3 feethigh. The directions are detailed and clear, and we had no trouble putting ittogether. It did take us a bit over five hours, though, and it's likely that anychild under 12 will need parental assistance. But assembling it is half the fun. When finished, the track careens so hazardously, it's hard to believe the carswill stay on, but they do! The plastic chain hauls the three cars up slowly, just like a real roller coaster, and the sound effects box re-creates the noiseso perfectly you'll squirm with anticipation. After reaching the top and passingthrough the serpent's mouth, the cars begin their dizzying descent past thesound effects box, which has now switched to emitting enthusiastic and terrifiedscreaming. Gravity and centrifugal force whip the little cars along the rest ofthe track until at last it reaches the beginning of the ride, only to be towedup for another round. If you don't have 6 feet of space, there are instructionsfor a smaller version, and you can turn the sound effects off if you prefer toplay quietly. Entirely worth the time and effort, this is ideal as a familyendeavor. --M. Sullivan ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT BUILDING
Mon son got this for christmas and when I first saw it I thought "Oh no." But then once we opened it up and actually started to build it, WOW! I am always amazed by k'nex and how they make it work, it was a lot of fun to build, took about 5-6 hours ( We are not experts yet on the k'nex) but well worth the effort. It has withstood being moved from room to room, having the dog topple it over and being jumped on by the friends who have played with it. It comes with the option of a small or large track (we went for the large) and the instructions are easy to follow. My kids, 8 and 5, have not grown tired of it yet. Definitely a better buy.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great toy!
I (...) built this toy when I was ten. This toy works very good if put together right. Many people would think this is a very hard toy but It really wasn't at least for me.

I give this 5 stars

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic!
This easily is the best present that my 8 year old son has ever received.Even though it took about 5 hours for my husband and son to assemble, the assembly was easy, with color coded pieces and a clear instruction manual.Once it was finished, we all sat in awe.It looks like something out of an amusement park!We all sat and watched this thing go around for about an hour.My husband and I like it as much as our son does.We highly recommend this! ... Honk! Honk! It's gridlock and the little red car can't move. The player is a traffic cop in the Rush Hour Traffic Jam Puzzle wherethe objective is to get the red car off the road. To play, pick one of40 challenge cards; solutions are printed on the back of each card. Then set up the cars and buses in a specified pattern on the6-inch-square road grid. Move the vehicles one by one (obey those trafficlaws!) until the red car can escape the traffic jam. There are fourlevels of difficulty. Kids can alternate turns with another player orjust "play in traffic" alone. The game from Binary Arts received anational award from Mensa and is used in elementary school mathclasses. The design includes clear instructions printed on the sturdybox, which can be used both as a playing tray and for storage. The gamecards stow away in a drawer in the road grid. This is a 1999 Parents'Choice recommended toy. --Marcie Bovetz ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent intelligent game for all ages !!
Games has a simple objective -- get the Red car out of traffice. And boy! it is difficult and changelling at higher level. Set up the *cars* as described in cards and figure out a way to get the Red Car out.The best thing is complexity raange from very easy to very hard. So it captures kids interests and provides the extra incentive to move to the next level !!

Simple rules -- once you have placed the cars on the Grid, you can only move them forward or backward.

A great addition to this game is "Rush Hour 2, 3 and 4 Gift Pack" for less than $12/-. Each set has 40 cards or in total 120 different levels. The highest level is really really difficult. Meant for the "Pros" only !!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome Game!!
I first encountered this game at a friends house while I was house-sitting, and I tell you...without it, I think I would have lost mt mind!It is basic yet challenging all at the same time...and it really is for all ages!Since I bought it off amazon.com, my niece and my father-in-law have both enjoyed the thrill of playing Rush Hour.I would strongly recommend this game for anyone who thinks they would be too good for this game...cause they won't be!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great fun and awesome game!!!
My husband and I gave this game to our daughter for Christmas. When she first unwrapped the present she looked uninterested. Later that day she pulled it out and asked what it was about. We got it out and tried it out. Instantly she was hooked as was I. This game is really a great game, but it is also a wonderful educational product. It truly teaches thinking skills and as a homeschool parent I can truly appreciate that. I highly recommend this for anyone regardless of where or how your children are schooled!!!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars somthing, just SOMTHING!
i bought this awsome game on thursday, may 12,2005. it was $50.00 but to me it seemed like it was 100.00!!! i like beating up darth maul the best!!!!! i gave it 5 stars because if u compare this game to a vedio game with lightsaber dueling, THIS GAME BEATS IT DOWN!!!!!

3-0 out of 5 stars Younger kids are going to need help.
We bought this as gift for our 6 year old.His 3.5 year old brother likes it the best. But you can't just turn it on for them and walk away.I had no problem putting in the batteries and plugging it into the tv.Everytime you turn the game on you have to calibrate your lightsaber moves, this is a pain especially if the kids don't do it right and then you come in as the parent to help them and the sensor can't read your movements correctly. You have to have the sensor at chest level so parents have to get down on their knees to help the kids.

I could live with all this if the boys could just play but there are several interuptions at levels where they need grown up help. The first is right after the first level where the kids practice hitting targets, then they are asked to enter their names by scrolling through the list of letters one at a time. The only way to skip this is to scroll through the whole alphabet to get to the word "end" and then swipe the saber in the air the right direction.Sounds easy but you are controlling everything by how you point your lightsaber in the air and if they didn't calibrate it right, you are all over the place. Then they get to fight at another level before having to stop and master a 3 part saber move.Neither boy can do this so I am back on my knees again trying to get the move completed 3 times to move on.I wish it was just contestants to fight. The master moves and name spelling make the thing a pain.Otherwise they have lots of fun slashing the bad guys and can win at several levels.I know it is for ages 6-12 but these little anoyances could have made it more fun for a wider age range.

5-0 out of 5 stars WOW
This is the best of the line-up of new star wars toys that have come out due to the new movie. First of all, you dont just lay around the couch and exersice your thumbs. Oh no, this game will work up a sweat in 15 min. With its cool gameplay modes like the training and battlling anakin, palpatine ect. Over all, this toy is a WOW buy. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars My baby's first toy
This was the first toy my little boy took any notice of.I have a very cute picture of him at 2 months old reaching out and discovering the crinkly wings. Now at 5 months, it's his constant companion in the car.He loves to feel the different textured wings, teeth on the rings at the bottom, or crunch the crinkly wings.
All of the Lamaze toys are great, but Freddy is my favorite so far.It may seem a little pricey at first, but you'll get more mileage out of Freddy than out of 5 other, cheaper stuffed toys. And as other reviewers have mentioned - he's machine washable, so you don't have to worry about him getting dirty.

5-0 out of 5 stars Must Have!!!
This is a must have toy for your little one.I purchased this about a month ago and it is my daughter's favorite toy.It has to go everywhere with her!She is teething so Freddie is constantly in her mouth and I make sure to inspect him quite frequently and have not found any problems at all!!Defintely worth the money!

5-0 out of 5 stars This toy is AWESOME!!
I bought this toy because it was so bright and colorful with a lot of different items to pull and play with.

My daughter LOVED starring at this toy ever since she was a month and a half old. This is definitely her favorite toy. Now at 3 months... she's constantly holding it in her hands and trying to "eat" it. haha.

I sometimes put it in her basinette when she's going to take a nap... so she'll have something to look at.

I LOVE this toy! I highly recommend it... even though it's pricey (almost stopped me from buying it) but it's well worth the money. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great!
Another of my 3 year old's collection - he loves it and has mastered it well.Very well done.

5-0 out of 5 stars Finding Nemo
My son loves this game. He likes to read with it. I think it is a nice addition to the collection.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game !
My 4YO son loves this cartridge. The children have a choice of reading the Nemo story or playing one of four games. My son does not really like the story, but it is cute. Admittedly it is difficult for an electronic toy to beat mom's reading!

The games are great. They all have multiple skill levels and are fun and challenging. I often have to force my son to let his Leapster "rest awhile". His favorite game is trying to find the fish in the deep dark ocean. On level 2 words are displayed and you have to find the fish by listening for where the word sound is the loudest. Unfortunately, there are a limited number of fish, but my kid hasn't noticed, he is happy every time he finds one. And, instead of sounding out the A like they do with the other letters, they say "Ay".

The Nemo cartridge also has a hide-n-seek game which teaches comprehension skills. Various Nemo characters and props appear in bubbles and the Leapster asks a question such as "Who helped Nemo escape from the tank?" and the child would need to select the "Gill" bubble. I haven't seen logic games like that on the other cartridge we have.

Overall, the characters are cute, the games are educational and my kid loves it. I'd give this more stars if that were possible! ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Lemon of a toy
I bought this ride on toy for my 3 year old daughter since she enjoyed her older sisters' jeep, I thought it would be fun for her to have her own.It worked for about a week and then never worked right after that.I bought new batteries for it, but nothing worked. It does not run very fast, if at all.It would go and then stop, needless to say my daughter will not even go in the car now.Maybe I just got a lemon car, but I was very disappointed in this product and would not waste the money on another one like it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Grocery Getter
This VW was purchased for my daughter when she was too young to drive it. At 1 yr she was afraid of the electric engine noise. At 2 she could push the pedal but did not understand to keep her foot down and she had not enough strength to turn the wheel. At 3 years she was ready to drive! It has been reliable and durable. The batteries are still good after all this time but I have kept up on keeping them charged throughout the year even when not in use. This car is one-wheel drive and therefore does not go on anything except for carpet and perfectly level pavement. Does not go in grass or gravel at all.

5-0 out of 5 stars Small Enough for Indoor Use
We got this car for our 22 month old daughter as an early Christmas gift. She loved opening and closing the door and going in and out of the one in the store.Fully assembled it is approx 3ft by 2ft so it's small enough to use and store in the house, which is nice because we live in a condo. My daughter can't steer it yet (it's harder to steer on carpet than vinyl)but she can push the pedal and foward/reverse buttons. She likes to store "treasures" in it and we often find our missing items in there. It's not that fast or powerful but it was able to pull me around in it.I think it's good for younger children and indoor use. ... This classic is still spinnin' after all these years--and now it's better than ever. The Sit 'n Spin we all know and love has been spruced up for the new millennium with flashing lights and fun tunes. Just press any of the four buttons on the handle, and you're spinning to one of six classic tunes. Sure, it may be a little snazzier than you remember (thanks to the new colors), but the goal remains the same: hours of dizzying enjoyment. Your kids will love taking this whirling wonder for a spin just as much as you'll enjoy watching them. 4-0 out of 5 stars We like this toy
We got this for my daughter as part of her Christmas this past year at 3 years old and she loves it. My son had one of the old ones...we liked it too, but it did not have the lights and sounds. It is very durable too. I think it is a good choice.

2-0 out of 5 stars They ruined a great classic toy!
I didn't think it was possible, but the manufacturer made the Sit N Spin worse when they added lights and sound. It USED to be a great toy! First, the music is the most obnoxious rockabilly-ish stuff I've ever heard.Second, its way too loud for the children's ears, in my opinion.Third, there is no "off" button for the lights/music (every parent's nightmare). We bought this for our daughter for Christmas, and I took the batteries out after the first day. What a relief!!

2-0 out of 5 stars can be hazardous
Our 15 month old daughter loves her sit and spin, LOVES IT!.We didn't put batteries in it because we read the complaints about the music. She used it every day.The problem is that whenever we go to move it, the top hand wheel pops off, so you have to pick it up by the entire base.Lesson learned, easy fix, just use more care.Until last night, when she was gleefully smiling and spinning, the hand wheel popped off, and she banged her head on the floor. My baby's not much of a crier, but boy did she cry after that!I may try the liquid nails that another person recommended, because she loves this toy sooo much.Just be aware of the hazard! ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Really Expected More
Santa brought Annabelle to our 4 year old daughter for Christmas. The milk in the Magic milk bottle was dried up upon receipt.Because of it being the week of Christmas we opted to keep the doll and exchange the bottle. The people at Zapf creations were quite curteous, but very disorganized. After several phone calls we did recieve the replacement bottle 6-8 weeks later. You can imagine for a 4 year old it could have been a year; our daughter was very concerned because she was convinced the baby was hungry as there was no milk in the bottle! We tried to find one locally, but they were out of stock everywhere we looked.

After about 2 wks a square piece came off of the back of the bdoll's skull. This was really quite frustrating. As you can imagine at this point we still didn't have a bottle. We were feeling very disappointed as we felt we had paid a premium price for a special toy from Santa along with many of the accesories for our daughter and it really didn't seem to be measuring up to our expectations.

The doll is very cute and her movements are life-like; although, you can hear the mechanism when she drinks the bottle, but this doesn't seem to bother our daughter. My greatest disappointment was in the clothes. The outfits are nearly the cost of real baby clothes, and made very cheaply in my opinion.Several of the outfits we bought were made of terry and the balled up right away. The fact that the closures are velcro just made it worse as the velcro sticks to all the clothes when you store them and they begin to look ragedy almost immediately.

1-0 out of 5 stars Should I buy this doll?
Its my Birthday in 5 more days,I know that my family members will give me money and im planning to buy baby annabell.Im going to turn 12 i know im kinda of old for baby dolls but hey there fun.I bought a rock a bye chou chou and i love it but i want another baby so i want annabell. It has mouth movement which i think is AWESOME.I read all 100+ reviews some i was touched and some well....not touched. There was one review where there was a 12 year old girl who was going to recieve this doll she made everything for her babyAnd she loved the baby when it came.Im pretty positive i will buy annabell if so i will write a review after my purchase

4-0 out of 5 stars Yes-Buy her today!!
This is a must that you have to put in your shopping trolley. She is amazing. Baby Annabell is a very realistic doll with a cute romper set with a matching hat and sheep toy. She comes with a magic milk bottle and cute dummy on clip. She does many things, including) cry, drink and burp just like a new baby. All children would get so many hours of use out of her. If you are expecting a baby or are planning one this is a lovely doll to choose for your already born child, girl or boy. They can play with Baby Annabell and feel that they are being a little mum/dad too. I have the old version and the new white and black versions as I am in love with her. I also have Love me chou chou and baby born which are cool too. Baby Born is the best our of the three dolls but if ur darling has these Annabell is the next best thing. 4-0 out of 5 stars So far so good
My son received this easel for his birthday. He really loves the white board and his markers. The chalk board is also very usable.I like the deep wells for storing utensils. My one complaint is that I cannot get a whole pad of paper to stay under the clip but a few sheets do.Overall, a good product.

2-0 out of 5 stars waste of money
At first my daughter loved this and always used it.Three months later and the blackboard can't be used. The chalk won't even write on it any longer. Now I have to purchase another blackboard. This was not worth the money.

3-0 out of 5 stars piece of plastic junk
We received this easel as a gift for our daughter when she was 1.5 years old. Now, a little over a year later, the blackboard side no longer accepts chalk -- it's been rubbed smooth from use.

Invest in a real blackboard, not a sheet of blackboard-like paper pasted onto plastic. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Toddlers love to hear their favorite nursery rhyme songs, and of coursethey love anything with sound effects and flashing lights. This electronicmusical toy is 45 inches long and 11 inches wide, with a large, one-octavekeyboard sporting a plastic handprint on each key and a red button above thatflashes when the key is played. The keyboard can be played in five differenttones: piano, bells, doggie barks, kitty meows, or birdie tweets, and in severalmodes: complete songs, free-play mode, or preprogrammed mode. The preprogrammedmode is an interesting feature that will help preschoolers (or their parents)learn to play the eight familiar songs. The tiny red light flashes, you playthat handprint, and follow along until--hey, you're making music! The musicalmat has a wipe-clean plastic surface, and it requires two AA batteries (notincluded). --Marcie Bovetz, mother and former children's librarian ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars No Good
I bought this for my daughters birthday and when we got it, it was a piece of junk the buttons worked for one day then the next day when you tried to push a cerain button it would give you a different noise or it would not work at all, the things are hard to push you have to really push hard on them, this toy is not worth it not even the amount they are asking for to be honest I think it is worth fifty cents, I am very disapointed in it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun toy
This was given to my 18 month old son last Christmas. He enjoyed playing with it daily for awhile. I recommend not putting this in the toy box. Now a year later it has some problems - it only plays when IT wants to. I do like this toy, but it needs to be well taken care of to last.

2-0 out of 5 stars nothing special
My daughter is a year old now, and has had this toy in her crib basically from the beginning. She's never really shown much interest in it at all, which is weird, because she loves most other toys that have music and lights and buttons to push. But this she barely plays with, even when I try to get her interested in it.

I think part of the problem might be that the keys are tough for a baby to distinguish (the whole thing just looks like one big piece of cloth), so it's hard for her to tell where she's supposed to push, or even that her pushing causes the sound and lights.Actually, now that she's old enough to understand the concept of a "button," she keeps trying to push on the lights themselves, because they look more like buttons than the keys do.

Also, the music's a little annoying. If you get this as a gift, it might be worth keeping, but I wouldn't run out and buy one.

3-0 out of 5 stars Nice but not spectacular
I really liked the idea of having a toy that my daughter could use from a very young age, and this piano seemed to fit the bill.I received one at my baby shower and immediately attached it to the foot of her cradle. My daughter is a big kicker, so she started using this piano when she was only a few weeks old.

I've never had a problem with the Kick n Play, and while I'm not sure my baby yet realizes that she's making it work by kicking it, she does kick it quite a bit when it's within reach. My big complaint is that the selection of music and other sounds that the piano makes aren't very good.On one setting, it plays several children's songs (instrumental only) - the sound quality is OK, but nothing special...certainly not as good as the sound on the Imaginarium mobiles. On another setting, it says an animal name when a key is kicked ("dog") and provides the sound of the animal (again, the sound quality of the animal sounds is pretty poor in my opinion).Another kick and a number is said, then a few bars of a song.Lights flash.Really, nothing too exciting. The songs are the same on every setting; the main difference is how much of each song is played and how many are played in a row.I find the one-word animal and number identification just plain boring.I think much more could have been done with the audio part of this toy, which is why I'm only giving it 3 stars.

3-0 out of 5 stars Doesn't hold interest
My son is 9 months old and is still not interested in this toy (he's has it since 3 months old). He'll play with it for a few minutes, but quickly looses interest.Maybe he will like it better when he's a little older... ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Not fast enough
Though the fabric and convience of the swing is nice. It just does not swing fast enough for my son(even though it supposably has 5 sluggish speeds).I have tried to put him in it many different times (even when he's sleepy) and he cries and wants out. He perfers the other faster swing I have. Maybe my third child on the way will like it better. If I would'nt have thrown out the box (duh) I would have taken it back.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good product but a little boring.....!
Now that my son is 3 months old, he seems to like this alot more. When he was smaller, he cried whenever I put him in it...his head had no support & would tilt in a 90 degree angle. But now that he is older & heavier, and his neck is stronger, he is much more comfortable in it. It usually puts him right to sleep. It's easy to move around the house.
The only thing I did not like about this swing is that it's a little boring. There is nothing for him to play with or entertain him. It's a very basic model swing with no frills.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very Convenient
This swing is a great choice for a second swing if you need one in the upstairs or to take to the sitter's or grandma's.I actually use it more than my big swing because I can carry it from my bedroom to my bathroom, etc.Now that I've gone back to work, I took it to the sitter's so she can use it.It is so easy to take that I can bring it home on the weekends or take it other places (like Grandma's).

I only gave it four stars because I would like for the recline of the back to be a little more adjustable, but overall, I think this is a great product. ... Read more

So you are saying that these dolls are BAD role models??? LET ME CLUE YOU IN--DOLLS AREN'T ROLE-MODELS!
You 1 star reviewing, Christian mothers are just flat out hags!

I mean, ACTORS wear stuff like this, too! (I am taking acting next year and I'LL be wearing stuff that that, and im 12!!)

My mom dresses in tank tops, short skirts, and sandles, because it is NOT THE 1800'S ANYMORE! DUH! Fashion's changed over the past 200 years!

Right now, in my school, (and I go to an Elementery school) make up, and knee high boots are the popular trends from grades 4-6! I wear dark make up, long, dangling earrings, leather bracelets, black boots, and short skirts because i dress how i feel like(my parents also think it's okay, because we are only young for a while)

Fashion for all ages has CHANGED. It is NOT like we're reacting little house on the prarie!!!!

this is a nice doll, i like it, i recomend it!!!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Kid tested and approved!
My husband and I took our 3 1/2 yr old niece to the toystore Barbie isle and let her pick any toy she wanted and this was the one. She absolutely LOVES it! She hesitated between this one and another Fairytopia doll but since pink is her favorite color I think she chose this one in particular.

I gave 5 stars simply because of how much she loves it, 1 star because it's not educational at all as far as I can see. 3 stars for durability and 4 stars overall.

5-0 out of 5 stars A big hit at my house!
One of my daughters got this from her grandma for Easter and the other HAD to have one too!We got it and they both love them.More than a month later the wings are still lighting up...amazing!

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent motivator and great fun
As a child I used to play with K'nex a lot. I just dug up an old model I built to hold my poker chips today that I'd made years ago, and I decided to look around for the biggest set I could find.

As a college student now, I can see the value of playing with the K'nex set as a kid: creativity, problem-solving, even common sense about the laws of physics (big stuff that falls down tends to go boom, for example), all have been boosted thanks to this toy, I think. It's no wonder I'm able to learn new techniques and ideas so quickly now (as opposed to some of my friends).

All you have to do is show your child how to connect the pieces in different ways, plop a models book in front of them, and let them have at it with your encouragement. Just don't let them put anything in their mouth: some of the pieces are less than an inch long.

5-0 out of 5 stars What a GREAT simple toy
I bought a 22 piece set of these for my 5 1/2 yr old daughter. She played with those 22 pieces for over an hour just ditting there.

I can't say enough...they are easy to clean up since they are magnetic. The only things I'd say as a caution are that the metal balls hurt if they stray away and you step on them so keep it contained.

5-0 out of 5 stars My sons favorite toy!
I have a 6 year son that was bored with legos and licoln logs, but loved to try and build things. So, we got him this set for Christmas. He loves it! You are not limited to what shapes you can make with the other building sets. he will go to his room and build things himself from looking at the directions. Since christmas we have bought him a few of the smaller sets to go along with this set. My husband and I like to play with it to. I would recommend knex to everyone! They are worth evey penny! ... This little wheelbarrow is the tool of choice for hauling flowers, grass clippings, toys, and other treasures. Not only does it look like a real wheelbarrow, it is a real wheelbarrow, with a red steel tray, a black triangular steel undercarriage, and finished hardwood handles. The tray has no-scratch edges and is 20 inches long, 16 inches wide, and 4 inches deep. The black plastic molded wheel is 7 inches in diameter and 1.25 inches wide. The wheelbarrow stands 11 inches from the floor and is 32 inches from the front of the tray to the ends of handles. The whole thing weighs a little more than 7 pounds. --Louise Carter ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful wheelbarrow
This is a sturdy, usable wheelbarrow scaled for a child. My son has loved to help his dad in the yard for years with this, hauling dirt, branches and leaves.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Buy
This is so much better than the plastic wheelbarrows. My son has it all - toy blowers, weadeaters, mowers, etc. and this is his favorite because it actually looks just like daddy's!He hauls dirt, flowers, and of course, toys everywhere. We have had this since Christmas and it has lasted well.

4-0 out of 5 stars good hard to find toy
When I gave this to my 4 1/2 year old nephew the first thing he did was pile his toys in it and give them a ride.I don't agree with the reviewers who think this is small. It looks like my nephew has alot of growing to do before anyone could suggest it was too small for him.My only problem was putting it together which is surprisingly difficult. That is more of a two person job. ... I wear this suit every day ever since the accident at Jack In The Box with the fryer. I was making some tacos and some grease splashed on me. I was smoking at the time and I caught on fire. Sally, Stevie, Stanley, Sophie, Stewie, and Sid are six colorful, lightweight bowling pins--each with their own personality--that talk to kids while they bowl. Taunts such as "C'mon!Roll the ball already!" get kids started, and phrases such as "Whew! That was close," keep them aiming for the pins. Bells, whistles, and cheers are heard if a spare or strike is bowled. The tan plastic base has six colored circles to hold the pins in place, but it is not required that colors match up for a game to begin. Silly 6 Pins only keeps score one frame (two balls) at a time, so keep a pad of paper nearby if you're playing as a family. Three AA batteries are required, but not included. --Pam Lauer ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Fun for the whole family!
My little boy got to open this on Christmas Eve, his grandparents got it for him.My little boy was so shocked and excited when he saw the game!He had wanted this game for several months but I was'nt sure he'd like it as much as he wanted it but it was one of those games that I was wrong about- He loves it!I have to admit it is really a fun game.Thebowling pens shake and talk to you as you play and they say funny, cute phrases. My little boy who is almost 4 can set the game up him self and play it without anyone else or if he wants we can play with him.I like games that he can understand and be able to play without having a second player all the time.It makes this game even more a good purchase because being an only child there is'nt many games that are like this.He loves this game and still plays it a lot even 3 1/2 months later.I would reccommend it!

5-0 out of 5 stars FUN FOR ALL AGES
I was reluctant to purchase this toy for my son's third birthday simply because he has never been bowling or knew anything about it.However, based on your reviews I decided to try it out.My son is not easy to keep busy and this was the trick! This toy is a blast! He loves to set the pins up just as much as he loves to knock them down.He plays it with his 12 year old sister and it seems to be the only time that they don't bug eachother. They have a ball!we all do, the voices are cute, but I wish it was louder.Easy to clean up, and just plain fun!I think we will get lots of milage out of this game.

4-0 out of 5 stars My SON wouldn't stop playing with the store's floor model
We went to Toys R Us to find some sort of play equipment for our back yard.I had looked at things online, and we were pretty much going to get some sort of climber/slide combo, but then when we got to the store he saw the house and made a b-line for it!My husband wasn't too excited by the house because it's not "cool", but after seeing how much he loved it we knew we had to get it.Now, you should know that there were about 4 or 5 different play houses and the same amount of climbers/slides set up in this store, but even though he played a little on the others he always went back to the Naturally Playful cottage. So, we thought about it for a day or two since we still really want something for him to burn energy on (that will have to come later) and I went back by myself to get it.I learned through others reviews on play equipment that sometimes the boxes are just enormous.Good thing I did.We have a Lexus GX470 (their medium sized SUV) and even though I removed the third row of seats, the car seat, flipped down the second row, and was by myself, this thing would NOT fit in our car.We took the pieces out of the box and even then had to do some manuvering to get it in.So, just a warning! It is worth all that trouble though. My husband put it together in no time, and our son was immediately trying to play with it while he was assembling it.The only thing he had trouble with was the fact that he put one of the walls on backwards at first (that's what happens when you skim over directions!).Our son now wants to go outside all the time and play in his house. He even ate his breakfast there this morning because I couldn't get him inside!I was able to fit inside the house with ease and watch him eat.I am 5'9, weigh about 145lbs and I sat on a Step2 folding chair we bought to go with the house since there are no chairs inside it.Those little folding chairs are great! They felt so sturdy I wasn't worried about it buckling beneath me.Anyway, you need to buy chairs if you want some inside.Outside on the little 'patio' there are two built in seats that are attached to the little side walls. These don't seem as durable, and both tables have a sort of kick stand support that isn't so great. The tables can fold down if you want, but when they are up if your kid leans on them you can see it bend a lot.A previous reviewer said their kid broke the table, and I can see how this would happen. That's why I gave it four stars.Inside is a cute telephone that he loves, he constantly goes through the escape hatch in the fireplace, loves the clock inside, and likes to spin the nozzle on the faucet in the kitchen sink.My biggest piece of advice to you is think carefully about where you want it (inside vs. outside), because wherever you decide is where your child will always want to be!Definately worth the money.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Toy!
My parents bought this playhouse for our 18 month old son for Xmas 04', and it is the best gift he's ever gotten by far. Two of his little friends came over to our home and all three of them played inside for a long time. They were having such a blast! They kept going thru the front door and then crawling out the back door, over and over. I almost felt like joining them! The house is big enough to fit me, my husband, and our son inside. We keep this inside our house even though it takes up a ton of space, but it's worth it for now. My parents actually got lucky since they saved $50 off a sale for this playhouse.

4-0 out of 5 stars got the cottage
I researched and pondered a great deal and recently ended up buying this one for my 3 year old. Three adults put it together fairly easily. I also bought the Step 2 play mats to use as a floor and put lots of toy food and cooking utensils inside. My daughter seems to enjoy it. It is attractive; nice natural colors. The fireplace is cool. We put a potted flower beside the front door as her garden. Cute. ... Read more
