5-0 out of 5 stars Great Toy
My DD got Blue for Christmas...two weeks after she got it...Blue stopped working...come to find out it has an on/off switch. She had somehow turned it off. She loves singing and dancing with Blue. We just had to put more batteries in it today. So the toy goes for a while with the batteries that come with it.

4-0 out of 5 stars It's cute, and my son loves it
Blue dances, sings, and teaches your child the dance. It comes with the video "Blues Room"which is great if you happen to like the new version of Blues Clues.I personally cannot stand Blues Clues anymore and think it has lost most of it's educational value since Steve left and ESPECIALLY since Blue's Room was added.
Anyway, the dancling and singing blue itself is great, the batteries lasted surprisingly long and my son had a blast with it!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great
My 2 year old daughter got this for her birthday. All three of my children love it. The dance is very cute, the phrases are fun, and it keeps them entertained for as long as a 2 and 3 year old can be.
When blue won't sing anymore, check the batteries, that might help. The video is a plus. My two younger kids love the videos, any Blue's Clues videos. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars One Is Too Much!
The rating system is skewed too high for this product. It has never inflated properly, would not hold air when inflated and has been a dead loss both money-wise and as a thoughtful gift.Even giving it a "1" rating is overestimating its' worth, in my humble opinion.

1-0 out of 5 stars Not the best investment
When this toy was given to my son as a gift it was absolutely wonderful since my son who was just under 2 at the time saw it he went ballistic he was so thrilled since he is a big Blue's Clues fan unfortunatly the chair popped a whole in it in under a month and my son was devastated over the loss.Wouldn't recommend this for any child who is overly active and with children on or around the age of 2 well don't know many children who aren't active

5-0 out of 5 stars Son Loves it!
My 18 month old received the Blues Clues Talking Silly Seat for Christmas. He loves it! He likes that he can carry it himself since it is light enough. Our older kids like it as well since it is pretty comfy. We recently had a little hole in it by a seam, but my husband was able to fix it with super glue. Otherwise it has held up well considering how much it gets tossed around! :-) ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars lots of fun
These bubble toys are great for little ones.I have a 2 1/2 and a 1 year old who have had a blast playing with them. Two of the blowers are perfect for kids who can't quite blow bubbles with a regular wand but want to do so just the same. And they actually can blow lots of bubbles at a time.Plus the no spill containers are just right for them to carry around. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Now we're talkin'!
We have 18 month old twin boys. One very active, the other a bit more laid back- but both love ALL the Blue's Clues versions of the show (the old and the new). After their recent 18 month check up, and finding out that by the time they turn 2 years old, they should be able to say at least 20 words, -this with a hint from the Dr. suggesting "speach therapy" if no progress by then! Hmmmm!

One twin says 2 words, the other 4 words.. so I thought this fun SOFT toy might help them along. (certainly couldn't hurt) The one that twin that says two words, is now seriously trying to communicate back each time Blue says something. The other loves to carry Blue around and likes to dance around with it with music from their favorite show.

This toy has very soft fur, is huggable, has floppy ears, arms and legs, and a cute little tail (small area of the upper chest is firm but does not interfere with their fun at all) It is great for them to carry about, and easy for them to learn to use. It measures from HEAD to HEAL about 10.5 inches and really looks alot like the NEW Talking Blues Clues dog and sounds just like her too.
And to hopefully help avoid possible speach therapy classes and for good measure (double the fun!), I also bought the New Talking Blues Clues Clip little stuffed plush (about 3 inches) that says 6 phrases that they seem to like as well, also found at Toys R Us.

5-0 out of 5 stars MY TWO YEAR OLD LOVES IT
My 2 year old hasn't shown much interest in the new blues Clues show where Blue talks but he loves the animated show.Still, this was among his favorite Christmas presents this year.He has a very strong vocabulary so far and Blue is helping him learn some new words and phrases.

It's a very fun toy that he can pick up and use on his own that doesn't require any set-up or assistance from mom & Dad.Well worth the money.Seems to be fairly durable so far.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great for the Blues Clues Fan
My 20 month old son loves this toy.He takes Blue with him everywhere. The only complaint I have is that I find the talking to be a little annoying, as they didn't record actual phrases, just individual words which they string together into different phrases, leaving it sounding choppy and unnatural. My son doesn't mind, however. I was a little concerned that the battery compartment might make it too hard for him to sleep with, but that has not been a problem at all. Overall, I would definitely recommend this toy if you have a Blues Clues fan at home! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars It Says it's a CARTRIDGE, people!
It just amazes me when I see reviews like the one saying this item is "misleading" and "not what it seems".
It says that it's a cartridge for learn through music. Buying this without the actual system is like buying a DVD or Video Tape and saying "It looked like a great movie but it's misleading because it doesn't work without the DVD/VCR player"
I seriously think people do too much buying without thinking, and especially if it's folr a CHILD, you should research and actually KNOW what your giving them to play with!

As for the toy itself, my baby loves this but mostly because he has a few cartridges & can alternate which ones he plays with, so he doesn't get board.
I like this toy but it needs more cartridges.

3-0 out of 5 stars Oh the Monontony!
This is a cute cartridge in theme and idea, but ohhhhhhhh is it monontonous! The same song is played over and over again with each new screen.Fifteen screens to identify colors is just too much of a good thing. My daughter gets bored with it halfway through. It would take a strong Blues fan to tolerate the entire cartridge.
Even with my criticism, this cartridge does have merit in your collection. It's just not my favorite.Learn Through Music is an excellent toy!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great addition to the Learning Through Musictoy!!!
This "book" is a great addition to the Learning through Music toy from Fisher Price. My 2 year old loved this book, it's his favorite. He has learned several colors and songs from it.You do need to own the actual Learning through Music unit to operate any of these books, but it's definately worth the $$$ to purchase. We own three "books" and we have a great time singing along! ... Editorial Review

VIDEONOW Jr. is the first full-color, personal video player designed specifically for preschoolers. And while the player itself is very impressive, with oversized buttons that make it easy for little hands to operate and rubberized bumpers designed to withstand the day-to-day bumps and rough handling that only preschoolers can dish out, the best thing about this portable media player is the wide variety of high-quality programming you can purchase for theplayer in the form of the VIDEONOW Jr.personal video discs. Featuring some of the most highly regarded early learning programming on TV, including Dora the Explorer, Blue's Clues, The Wiggles, Barney, and Sesame Street, all of the personal video discs for the VIDEONOW Jr. player are designed to educate while they entertain. This personal disc contains scenes from the popular TV show Blue's Clues. 4-0 out of 5 stars "Mostly" No-Spill, but a fun toy for a toddler
I bought this toy for my two-year-old son, and he has enjoyed playing with it.The recommended age on the toy says "2 and up," not "3 and up" as is indicated in the product information on Amazon. The bucket is a perfect size for todders to carry around, the handle is sturdy, and the bucket has a solid base that doesn't tip easily when putting the wands into the slots. It's easy to fill; just unscrew the bottom and fill with about 4 oz. of bubbles (one bottle is included with the toy).My only complaint is that some bubble solution does spill out, especially if the bucket is full.If the wands are not in the slots, and the bucket tips over or is turned upside down, about half an ounce to an ounce of liquid will spill out before it stops. If the wands are in place, liquid trickles out, then stops. So, liquid doesn't continue to spill out, but it does come out some.Overall, it's a fun outdoor toy; the wands are cute (Blue, Perwinkle, and Magenta), and they don't seem as if the faces will rub off, as has been the complaint of other BC toys from this company. If your child is a BC fan, I'd recommend this toy for some summer fun! ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Cards separated into two pieces.
I happened to purchase two memory games at the same time. The Blues Clues version is not durable at all.The cards were separating into two pieces (front coming off back) as I was assembling the game (basically, punching the cards out of cardboard as is typical with this type of game).Over time, more cards have fallen apart when we play.

The colors are light and difficult to distinguish at night. Some of the cards are virtually identical except for a faint, small item in the picture.

My son loves the characters but was disappointed Steve isn't represented.(The new character Joe is featured in this game.)

Since we have the Toy Story II Memory Game too, we play that instead. The Blues Clues game will go to charity.

5-0 out of 5 stars We Love It! Great Memory Game (Even for Adults!)
I just bought this game a few weeks ago for my son's 6th birthday...and we love it!

This game comes with 72 colorful cards of sturdy cardboard base, a plastic tray, and instructions. For younger children, you don't *have* to use all 72 cards.

This is a great game to improve memory, even for adults. While some pictures are straightforward (Tickety Tock, Purple Kangaroo, Side Table Drawer, the blue pawprint, Mr. Salt, Mrs. Pepper, Cinnamon, etc.), there are some tricky cards. For example, you'll have a card with Blue gazing at a butterfly, as well as Blue gazing at a caterpillar. Then you'll have a card with Blue painting a spider, and another where Blue is painting the sun. Or Joe with a blue shirt, and Joe with an orange shirt.

I suprised at how much *I* get a kick out of it--and my son and husband enjoy it as well! ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Horrible Graphics!! and Toys R Us won't exchange!
Because it's an electronic I can only exchange this for the same product at Toys R Us! Arrgghhhh! This product is way to boring even for my 3 year old. The graphics look like they are from the 80's! Don't purchase this product- it cost more than any other plug & play we own and it's worthless!

1-0 out of 5 stars could have been great

1-0 out of 5 stars Good idea, bad game.
I was excited to get this for my 4-year-old son.He loves Blues Clues, and he love drawing and art. This game is VERY boring. You can put stamps of the Blue's Room Characters in a picture of a room, you can paint pictures of Blues Room Characters, You can Guess what Doodle is drawing . . . none of which is very exciting or engaging. The graphics are pretty bad also. Not very crisp or clear.I would pass this one buy and try something else. ...
