Cloud and Family
Cloud and his family is a cute sight to see I think it's educational becaues it shows that a horse family sometimes have to stick together to face the wild life of a wild mustang Cloud the stallion will gallop into your hearts and fill you with joy he and his family will put a smile to your face and love for horses in your heart he and his sweet eyes will make you cry by looking at them with joy his eyes show spirit, courage and love for all horse lovers.

Beautiful set
The set depicts four horses from the PBS Special "Cloud's Legacy". It is the continuation of "Cloud: Wild stallion of the rockies". Cloud is represented in this set as a full mature stallion. Sitka is the lovely blue roan mare, my personal favorite of the set, and her foal, Flint, is the grey/grulla colt, whose father is from a different herd. Bolder, formerly known as Little Cloud, is the palomino colt. His father is Cloud, but his mother is also from a different herd. Cloud mated his mother before she was stolen from another stallion.

I just got this model and she is soooo cute! she goes great with Stormy. Misty is a super strudy model she is just like a real Chincoteage pony. She has great textrue too. A must have for ANY Breyer colleter!

handle with care
my daughter received this for christmas two year ago. the pieces pop apart easily and the plastic becomes warped with continued use. the barn doors lost their "nubs" to stay attached within about 2 weeks. not for frequent use! now shopping for a more durable model.

Breyer's For children.. sm's
Breyer SM's and TD's are NOT FOR PLAY unless ur VERY gentle and are a very delicate NON ROUGH person (If ya do play with them when ur little.. later on they will have to be sold as bodies if ya want to sell them (Pleaseee take this advice into consideration! Bealive me, i have gone through this.. once i foudn out my lil play colelction was pretty much worthless it broke my heart.. I am now 13 and used to play with them all when i was 7 or so.. but really if u r planning on selling please think about this! If not just have fun ;)!! Just wanted to give ya a BIG HELPFUL tip! I REALLLLY wish i wouldve know this...) They are to collect and show and have lots of fun with.. Just a thought.. but umm sm's and a 5 yr old don't mix.. try the ponies next time ;) They are more durable yet not real collectible and very cheap!! GREAT for kids! Also pp's and cl's mite be a choice.. sm's r really delicate and could easily break (but i absolutley luv em (Paso's rock) lol).Poinies are also fun cuz u can brush theyre mane and tail (Great, younger children love it!).Then when the learn the aspects ofbreyer and how easily they can break and how delicate they are then move em on to classic or mayeb pp's then TD's and SM's!!Hope this helps y'all~~ Thx havefun collectin it is the Best!! The Barn Playset
This plat set is educational because it shows how the horse stable stall looks like and to cover your horses to keep them warm they can get cold to you know and it is very safe for young children to play with because the playset is soft and no hard points to hurt the little child and wont be able to gag on anything the playset comes with. Stablemates Set
This Stablemates set is cute this set is soo cute it is educational because, it shows that all horses have diffrent colors and tempers the Morgan shows love and gentleness and the Paint shows Fiery and Spirit and the Saddlebred shows spirit and love so does the other bay horse, I rate these set not so strong because these Stablemates break like toothpicks and are way easier to break than Traditional horses are, but besides that these set will look really fun to play with on carpet or wooden floor genltly, if you drop them the can take a good amount of dropping.

This was an awesome set!!!
The Four-piece Stablemates Gift Pack is one of the best sets Breyer has made. I really liked the blue roan pinto (whom I christened Star Chaser) and the bay (whom I christened Double Diamond). The others were cool but those 2 were my favorite! Stablemates are some of the coolest Breyers because they are probably the most durable and they're so small! I feel a lot better letting my baby nephew play with my Stablemates then with my Traditionals. (Although I freak out every time and wish he'd go for the little plastic horses that don't matter!) By this set, whether you're a discerning collector or a parent looking at this for your horse crazy kids!

A great tribute to Farley's classic children's story!
As a horse lover from a very young age, "The Black Stallion" is one of those books that was read to me when I was little, which I later read on my own, and of which I still have fond memories today. The first of Walter Farley's twenty-one books, "The Black Stallion" has become a staple in children's literature. It tells the story of Alec Ramsay and his partnership with a remarkable horse, referred to only as the Black. In this gift set offered by Breyer Animal Creations, you can get both the original story in paperback book form, and a beautiful, durable portrait model of the Black.

The storyline is as follows: While returning from a trip to India, Alec's ship is wrecked in a storm, leaving he and the Black as the only survivors, washed up on a deserted island. For nineteen days they must survive there, and in this time a strong bond is formed between boy and horse. Once Alec and the Black are rescued they return to New York, where Alec asks a neighbor if he might stable the Black in his old barn. As it turns out, Henry Dailey is a former racehorse trainer, and he immidiately recognizes the Black's potential. Thus, man and boy pair up in order to train the spirited horse, hoping to turn him into a competitive runner. At this time the racing world is abuzz about an upcoming match race between two champion horses, each said to be the best racer in the country, but who have never run against each other. But when the Black shows more talent than Dailey would ever have thought possible, he begins to think that this wild, unpedigreed stallion just might have what it takes to beat them both...

The story is a bit far-fetched and idealistic, but it nevertheless makes for one whopping adventure. Farley was an avid horseman and he puts his knowledge to good use here. His descriptions of the proud, fiery Black bring the wild horse magnificently to life before our eyes. The prose is simple and fast-paced, with one event leading rapidly into another, but it still maintains a richness and depth that allows the reader to develop a strong attachment to the main characters. You can really feel the bond between boy and horse, and you can't help but care about them. "The Black Stallion" is an absolute must-read for any young horse lover. The book has a timeless quality to it, and retains every bit of its magic even for modern readers.

After penning "The Black Stallion," Farley went on to write twenty more horse stories, most centered around further adventures of Alec, the Black, and the characters that surround them (the exception being "Man O'War," which is an account of that famous racehorse's life). I have read every one of these additional books, some more than once, and would recommend them to anyone that has read and enjoyed this first book. I don't know of a single die-hard horse lover that hasn't read at least the first few books in the series, and many adult equestrians cite Farley's books as being what got them interested in horses to begin with.

The model horse included in this set is the most recent of many different Black Stallion models Breyer Animal Creations has produced since the company was founded in 1950. It is a simple, solid black paint job on the Sham mold, originally used to depict the horse from Marguerite Henry's book "The King of the Wind." Breyer horses are surprisingly durable, made of cellulose acetate plastic. I've been collecting Breyers since I was seven years old, well over a decade ago, and have had them take all sorts of tumbles and falls from high shelves without incurring anything more than a light scratch, and often not even that. The recommended age given here is eight years, but the model is a perfectly suitable toy even for younger children. Conversely, it would also make an attractive shelf piece for adult collectors. It comes in one of Breyer's fancier boxes, with a tropical island scene printed on the backdrop.

To top it off, the price listed here of $19.99 is an unbeatable bargain. You won't find this set for under $40.00 in most toy stores. If you're looking for a gift idea for a horse-loving youngster, or simply want to revisit your own youth, this is definitely a worthwhile purchase. The only downside is that, if you already own the book, the model is not available for sale individually. You might also consider the movie version of the story, which appeared in 1979, though it is no replacement for the book.

Palomino Arabian
First off Arabians don't come in shades of Palomino I know Palominos have a little Arabian in them,but Arabians can't be Palomino they can be Dappple Grey, Paint, bay or black, besides that this toy is soo cute with it's loving eyes and it's heartwarming look I have the paint one,but this Arabian shows way more love no wonder kids like this spunky sweet mare.

OK, now she is technically 'Light Chestnut', but in every coloring she is palomino and when I bought her they still called her a palomino! While I don't use her for a toy, (I am a model horse collector, not someone who plays with Breyers,) she is definitely one of my favorite Breyer horses! (All though I love all of them!) :) Buy her! She is fantastic! I rated how fun she is 5 stars because I've seen a little girl play with her, and she had a blast. I rated the educational value at 4 stars because Arabians don't come in this particular shade of 'chestnut', but her conformation is absolutely perfect. I rated her durability at 4 stars because she won't break if she is played with fairly gently, (don't bang her on the table,) over a carpeted floor, (she could break if you dropped her or scratch if you played with her on a hard floor,) and don't let Fido get ahold of her!

Alida and Elidor
Alida and Elidor is a cute pair with a foal and mare. Alida the mare has a sparkly mane with a firey free magic eyes, but the foal Elidor has that wild look of triedness and free look glancing look. I think it is eductional because it teachs young minds about imagaion and adventure with the land of the wild magical unicorns with a flowing sparkly mane and tail as a unicorn stallion rears up with his long horn and little beard with slighty cloven hooves, as he gallops of on his graceful legs and run like the speed of light as his filly Elidor and his mare Alida come bounding toward him to gallop of into the beginning of a new adventure.

Stablemates Foal Set

Western Saddle Set
This saddle set looks like a great set, but I think it looks kind of soft and weak like it might break apart. I suggest that you should not use it a lot, I think it it educational because it shows all the western saddle parts and the saddle set. But besides that it looks like it would make a good use for showing off on horses but not playing with it to often.

They are a neat set.
I haven't bought this set yet, but I know of them cause I saw them on Animal Planet's one show that's on about 3:00 pm or 4:00 pm. It was an beautiful story about a young teenage boy set out to win the mare's heart then surprising a foal was born. It was amazing story out of all these animal stories they have on. Sometimes they rerun it. Please check that out, can't promis it will be on again.

Cupid and Arrow
Cupid and Arrow are very cute i play with Arrow alot of times with my other foals even sometimes with his mother. There is a book out called Cupid's Secret which is about the same thing that happened in real life.

Model horse set
This model horse set looks like a lot of fun! But the glue that comes with it stinks use fabric glue instead these set comes with a cute dapple grey model horse three carrots a blanket set and a throhy.

Breyer Horse Kit
This Breyer Horse kit is very fun you can make blankets for horses and a halter for this cute little Dapple Grey model. Don't trust the glue tho it stinks go out and buy a fabric glue it will work much better. These model is so cute and from the classic line I think.

Rain
I got Rain for my birthday one year and from then on I treasured her as much as I could.I had seen the Spirit of the Cimarron movie and I thought it was great so of course I had to go out and get the breyer horses.She is very fun to play with and is also a very nice collecters item.Her durability is also very good.Evan though she is not very educational, she is still great to have around.
