good toy but................
this toy is cool ,but i really think it should come with a saddle and rider so they can run around the barrels, but overall, it is a good toy.

I love my Breyer Scamper! He was my very first "collectable" horse and he's still as bright and handsome as when he came out of the box. He stands alone, is pretty durable, and has a great color. Markings and quality will vary SLIGHTLY as each one is hand airbrushed. This handsome bay Classics-scale model is too cool! I should warn that this model sometimes falls down and isn't for rough play!

A must have Breyer
Scamper is one of my most durable, most realistic, most fun and easy-to-display models. Gentler kids can actually play with Scamper without banging him up too much. Neat model, but REALLY fragile and hard to balance.
This model is nice, but she can't stand very well and her tail is really fragile. She is great for a collection, though! There is light gray shading on her muzzle and her hooves are shaded yellowish-pink. This models eyes are very pretty, they have a lot of character in them. My sister named this horse Silver Song, and I think that is a wonderful name for this model. I highly recomand it for OLDER, more RESPONSIBLE kids. This is a great model, folks!!!!!

its ok...
It is beautiful, and durable, but none of the tack that I have actually FITS on the horse! I don't have that racetrack tack, but I'm sure that that won't fit either.

Breyer Model Seabiscuit
Seabiscuit is a racehorse who won many races and you see this is Seabiscuit not Man O War. Seabiscut is a great Breyer model and is very fun to play with and will go nicely with race tack to be ready to run a huge race track. P.S Man O War is Seabiscuit's father.

My favorite Breyer model... So far
My title pretty much says it all. The Appaloosa Sport Horse is a gorgeous model that is a beautiful addition to any collection, whether you are a kid looking for a pretty toy, (don't be too rough, she will break if you aren't careful, but don't worry, she's not going to break the second you touch her either,) or a discerning collector looking for a beautiful addition to a prized ribbon-winning collection, the Appaloosa Sport Horse is for you!
Note: The rating the 'toy's' educational value doesn't really make sense. I gave it a 5 because she has good conformation and will teach little kids what a good horse can look like. The durability... Well I covered it earlier, it's not like porcelain, but don't bash it against a wall or drop it repeatedly. (And don't ever drop it over a hard surface. I haven't dropped mine or anything, but I wouldn't want to try!)

Overall this is a great model, (parents, think for your horsecrazy kids!)

I am a huge collecter of Breyer models. This one with finish my collection. The Appaloosa Sport Horse shoudl not be given to anyone under 7 years old. Breyer models are very fagile and need to be kept in a safe place. This one's gorgous! ... Read more

Majestad is a classic!
I love this stallion! In a collection of over 45 model horses, Majestad is my absolute favorite. The reason I give this model 4 stars for durability is not that he has broken in any way shape or form, it's that I have had multiple Breyers break their legs and go to the model horse heaven. Do not play with this too roughly, because that is why my other two broke. This stallion gives you a look of brilliance and kindness all mixed together. Hidalgo's spirit is put right on your shelf or window....
I bought Hidalgo at the Breyerfest and got him signed by Rex Peterson! But anyways....
Hidalgo caught my eye because of the beauty and effort that was taken into making him. He sits on my window in his beautiful rearing pose. If you collect Breyer horses, Hidalgo is a must have. His spirit and wildness is put all into one breyer horse.
Hidalgo is not a play toy! Some of the reviews says that he is okay to play with. I have heard from my friends that he can get his leg snapped off if you are not careful. So he is a nice decoration.
Hidalgo is for the breyer horse collector, horse person, and fan of the movie.

Hildago
Hildago is a very fun model don't worry you can play with him if your very worried about breaking him play with him on a carpet. Hey who said he can't pose for you like a fasion model. I like Hildago because you can see the realistic wild horse spirit in his eyes and the beautiful overel pattern on his coat.

HIDALGO
I think Hidalgo is very educational, but I don't think he's as much fun because I'm afraid to touch him. He is not durable. I have found out with breyers that you have to not rub them, or else theirplastic starts to wear thin. ... Read more

A Wonderful Stable
I got this barn for christmas it was not the Breyer version though. It has 2 big box stalls and is strudy. But my fence broke at one part. Hopefully yours won't.It holds over 10 horses. It even has pegs for tack. This is the BEST barn I ever got because it stays together and is not one of those cheap plastic ones that falls apart. overall this is a great toy because even younger kids can play with it!

GO TO TARGET!
This barn is awesome!I however bought it at target for $49.99.It is this barn, same dimensions made of pine but not in a bryer box.It is sold under a different name.Very large barn made sturdy with smooth pine.

Pretty good but I think Zippo Pine Bar beats him
He's pretty cool but because of his position he can't be played with. I think zippo beats him by a mile. No...20 miles.

I LOVE SMARTY!
I absolutly love this modle. It is soooooooo cool. I am a big Smarty Jones fan so this was a must have. It is not really made for playing with, more like on a display shelf. I half a special section for him.

Will be a classic!
What a great model. It is one of Breyer's new molds for 04. Of course it would have to be of Smarty Jones. This mold is so expertly detailed, I belive it even had horse shoes. What a gorgeous mold. Will surely be a classic, I am not going to take it out of it's box. ... Read more

Affirmed
Affirmed is a great horse and seems very educational especially for the collectors or horse lovers that enjoy the amazing race horses that played a big part in horse history.He's also very beautiful.The model shows him in a long stride galloping away like there's nothing to it.The only thing about him is that his legs seem like they would break easily and also when I took him out of the box, his tail was half way cracked through.Note to all horse collecters: Make sure to check the models very carefully before buying.I couldn't because I recieved mine as a gift but still.Other wise this horse is wonderful and will lighten up anyone's face.

I don't own this but it looks really pretty!! I really like it and wish I had it!! I collect them and hope to own this one one day soon!!

Fitting Tribute to a Great Horse
I own this piece as part of my Triple Crown set including Slew and Secretariat and I just love it.Every muscle, shadow and ripple in his mane and tail are picked out in excellent detail.This is the only piece of Affirmed memorabilia I have in which his mane is loose and not braided as he wore it in his races.The pose shows him just "being a horse", it's really nice.A nice addition to anyone's collection. ... Its more of quantity then quality
Breyer's new race set it pretty dissapointing. It is more complicated then one would think, and the mask dosen't fit the horses very snugly. I tried the mask on the Seattle Slew model, the Affirmed model, and the Secretariat model. It also appears that some parts are not supposed to be where they are. It just isn't assembled very well. A peice came off of the saddle when I was trying to put it on and I couldn't figure out where it had come off of. And the silver loops that you are supposed to wrap the straps through feel apart (seperated). I feel like this (along with a few other other Breyer accesories)are more about quantity rather then quality. ... Read more
