Great Investment!Activities for many levels and interests!
I'm a mom that has to buy one toy that will serve multiple purposes.So you can imagine my joy when I came across the Music n' Play table!On the top side, it's split between a piano and activity center, then flip it over and underneath is a miniature "lego" building table.Plus, it has storage for the lego pieces!I was looking for an activity table for my 8-month old son because he likes to stand and pull himself up on things.We've had absolutely no problems with its stability. Actually, he uses it like a walker, pushing it all around the kitchen.And it easily entertains more than one child at a time.I was hoping it was available at stores in my area, but even with shipping and handling, it was well worth the price.I highly reccomend this toy, I know Colin will enjoy his Music n' Play Table for a long time.

Fun, but what's with the music?
Our 13-month old enjoys this table a lot.However it sounds like all the preprogrammed music was done in Shanghai.Vaguely American pieces are played with distinctly Chinese instruments and arrangements, basically comprising a sad-sounding fiddle, xylophones, and drums.It's some of the strangest music I've ever heard from any kids' toy (and unfortunately it's somewhat scratchy due to poor sampling or tone generation).Also be aware this item takes two sets of batteries: one for the activity area and the other for the music area.Pros: easy assembly, lots of items for the toddler to play with, and unlike many of their other toys it's one they can play with standing up.

I'm 11 years old. I went to my cousins house and played with this toy. I couldn't stop playing. It was so much fun. When my cousins got a real keyboard they told me to play with that. Chicco REMOTE CONTROL CAR
I am putting this in the wrong place because I do not see the item on azazon.DO NOT BUYTHE CHICCO REMOTE CONTROL CAR FOR AGES 2+.It did not work at all the first time and the replacement lasted a whole 4 hours!Was not mistreated at all but just not built to last.They are just trying to get your cash; problem is the kids are the ones who suffer.

All-time favorite that stood the test of time
This is an excellent, versatile and sturdy toy that has been played with thoroughly for over 3 yrs.Younger children can use the toy as a kind of pushcart or to steady themselves while walking (obviously you'll want to keep this one away from any stairs).They can also flip open the seat and play with the busy-box under the seat, push the buttons and hear the sounds on the steering wheel and put the little people in the corresponding shaped holes in the back.As children get more mobile, they can take this toy outside and use it as a foot-powered ride-on.My three-year-old twins love this car and have played with it repeatedly at different stages of their development.Well worth it for the variety, durability and pure enjoyment it's given our kids.Bright colors, cleans easily.

Wonderful Toy
This was bought for our son as he started to learn how to walk.It is a great walker-toy while also being a great stationary toy.We actually leave the seat off most of the time as right now he loves to sit IN the middle area and play with other toys or the steering wheel, or even sit backwards and put toys in the open slots and pull them out again.Wide enough to be sturdy for walking around, yet also light enough that if he is rough-housing & it tips it doesn't hurt him, almost funny to him in fact.Also, the fact that it is lightweight allows him to learn to control it as the front wheels turn - good for developing his ability to stand & manipulate the toy.Also, the removable section with buttons & lights is great to take in the car.At 13 mos, he is still too short to sit on the seat & touch the floor, but I feel as that is better for him right now due to his level of development.I can see this being a long-used toy & we are very happy! ... fun but helmet too small
My almost 4 year old has fun with these skates.They are not fast enough to be dangerous or scary.Only problem is that the helmet is very small.It doesn't even fit my 10 month old, much less the 4 year old it is intended to fit.Beware if your child's head is larger than average!

Only Two Years Old and Blading already!!!
I got these for my 28 month old daughter for Valentines Day as she is fascinated by skating. They are a pain to put on, but she doesn't mind. They have "beginner" settings, which she used for the first hour and then it was on to the "expert" setting! What I like is all the safety gear come with them, so she knows that she has to wear it "all or nothing". These are great and seem to be safe and sturdy...with supervision, of course!

fun to get dressed up for skating
My son got this for his 3rd birthday, and since then I think he's tried the skating maybe 4 times in the past 8 months. He likes wearing the helmet, knee and wrist guards, but the skates are hard to put on. He's pretty agile, but I think this might be more appropriate for a 4 year old or older child. FUN, FUN, FUN!!Well worth the money...
We got this train for my son when he was 10 mos. old (not even walking yet) and he is now almost 2 1/2 and still plays with it every day!This is some of the best money we've ever spent, especially on a toy.It is one of the first toys visiting kids play with and I am amazed at it's longevity.It still looks virtually brand new, too.Chicco makes very high quality products.

Great Ride On!
This was my son's Santa gift for Christmas. He was an early walker and 10mo old when he got it. He loved it from day one and pushed it all over. Since then he has learned how to ride it and one of his favorite things is to put things in the seat and push it around. He also love to sit on it and chase the dogs around. At 18mo old this is still one of his favorite toys and is standing up well to my son's constant use and abuse (he does stand on it and sit on it while its on its side). I love to find toys that don't flash and make noise. I think toys like this one encourage more imaginative play. The levers and stuff do reward exploration with spinning, squeaking and simple reactions. This is very sturdy and my son doesn't have any problems with it tipping over. This is definately one of our favorites.

What a fantastic toy!!
We got this for my son's first birthday, and it has been the most popular toy ever since...and even with our almost 4 year old. They fight over it...they love the flip up seat to store all of their little cars and other toys. And the gadgets are great! This is a super sturdy toy..both of my boys have stood on it at one time or another..it seems it can hold up to any abuse! The only thing I would change is to perhaps make the back handle fit more snuggly, but this would only be for parents..when I try to pick it up and move it, the handle comes out everytime...but that's no big deal. This is an OK toy
I bought this for my one year old granddaughter for Christmas.It is a little too old for her.She did press the buttons but could not play the games.Now that she is 18 months she does press the buttons more and knows the names for the animals.This is a great toy to sit with the child and interact.It is durable and so far has not needed new batteries after 4 months.I would consider this a toy for a 2 year old. ... we love our new toy!
my 16 month old daughter loves her scooter, just like mom and dads.we own a scooter shop and the customers think it is hilarious to see our daughter riding her scooter.fuses have never been a problem for us, it works perfect.the only thing different was my daughter wanted to twist the throttle on the right and that does not do anything.it was a little difficult getting her to use the left pull.she does not steer yet so i just put her in a circle and around she goes.

easy to use
we saw this online and really wanted it, but decided to wait because of the reviews. well today we went to an outlet store that sells new stuff at huge discount prices, and it was only 10.00 my son has already ridden the heck out of it with no problems, and he loves it. we havent had to replace a fuse and it just the right size for my 1 and a half year old. its a really great little bike, but for the workmanship of it, i definitly wouldnt pay 50 dollars for it, maybe 30-35 most. we just got blessed with a really great deal:) so if ya want this for your kids, its great for the smaller rider, and just the right speed for him to control. hope this helps someone:)

fuses problem
My daughter loves this toy, so do all her friends boys and girls a like.We too had problems with the fuses which always blow.My husband by passed the fusses by disconnecting the break light wiring and it has never given us any trouble since despite extensive use.This is a great toy for all vespa enthusiasts.

great kitchen...for boys too!
these days you can spend upwards of $300 on a toy kitchen for your little one - ridiculous!i personally believe that playing should be about imagination and creativity, not the most expensive toys with the most bells and whistles....that said, i LOVE this kitchen!chicco makes great toys and this one doesn't disappoint.while some might complain that it only makes two "sounds" - the two different stove burners - i think that's one of the best parts of this kitchen.....your child has to use his/her imagination while playing with it instead of having it do everything itself.it's the perfect height for my 2 and 1/2 year old son, he can reach the bits on top and still be comfortable with the stove and refrigerator parts.i have to say, since we got it, he hasn't stopped playingwith it!i can actually get all of the dishes done while he plays with it! (no small feat!)it is also wonderful for those with smaller spaces, and like someone else said, it's in colors that can be either for a boy or girl....boys love to play chef too!i highly recommend the chicco star kitchen.

Very Good...
This was very easy to put together my husband had it snapped together in no time. My toddler (3) loves it and plays with it all the time. Con 1: it falls apart easily in the middle. Con 2: Not for carpeted rooms, my 1 year old keeps pulling on himself easily. Other than that I would recomend this to anyone that wants to have a happy toddler!!

Fantastic pretend play toy, but may have durability issues
I purchased this for my 2 year old daughter, and she absolutely loves it.I purchased an additional set of play food, although she seemed to be perfectly happy with the food that came with the set.There are a couple of things I'd point out.The oven door, does not stay shut and the top comes off every time I try to lift it.Still very happy with it though.I would warn those folks with shorter toddlers that the top is used to store the plates, etc. and it can fall over if pulled (it's very light). ... Award worthy
I saw this award winning toy in Family Fun Magazine and although we don't own other Chicco Toys, I figured if this toy was an award winner and actually chosen by "kids themselves", let me try it.Like most kids, my 3 year old daughter loves animals, especially puppies.This particular puppy actually doubles as the doctor's bag AND the patient (a novel idea).He responds to the different animal shaped medical instruments that are included by making various fun (and not so fun) sounds from heart beats to crying and giggling.The carry handle definately offers an added bonus for fun on the go.We're extremely pleased with our purchase and definately plan to add other Chicco products to Santa's list this year!

I understand why Family Fun Magazine voted this toy as the "Toy of the Year"for 2002. Simple fun with imaginative play is the best way I can describe this toy. This Puppy Vet Kit comes with the cutest animal shaped pretend medicial instruments to examine the puppy dog. Perfect for busy yards.
This sandbox is the answer to prayers.Not only is it sturdy with a good cover (that neighborhood pets cannot defeat) but it is also nice to look at.We had been everywhere, looked at everything but either the boxes were way too poorly built or they were way too gaudy.It's nice to have kids around but it doesn't have to look like it all the time.For a nice yard that is both garden and playground it is a perfect fit. ... Great toy for 2 year old
I got this for my 2 year old daughter and she has loved it from day one. It's of good quality construction and very light so it can be moved easily. She goes up the steps and down the slide or up the slide and down the steps !!

Fun, colorful, very durable, and cute design from Chicco!
I recently purchased this item for my 2.5 yr old son after a thorough search for small indoor/outdoor slides.I am a HUGE fan of Chicco products and was very excited to see their new line of playground equipment.Their Happy Garden collection also includes a tomato playhouse, pumpkin sandbox, eggplant rocker, and peapod multiswing.

I saw a picture of this slide on another website and thought it's design (the handrails are shaped like smiling carrots) was very unique and different from other toddler slides on the market.This slide is made in Italy and is constructed of very thick, heavy-duty plastic so I expected a very high-quality product -- which is exactly what I got! When not in use, I can fold it and store it (a necessity in my small house).My toddler absolutely loves it, as does my 14-month-old (I help her up and down the slide).It's stable, just the right height, and easy for my toddler to climb.The only problem I have is that the slide itself is slightly steep; my son has had a few rough landings.I recommend constant supervision with this toy.

Overall, I am very pleased with the slide and hope to add more of Chicco's veggie playground equipment to my kids' collection.I'm sure it will provide many hours of enjoyment for my kids for years to come. ... Read more

NOT WORTH THE AGGREVATION
I GOT THIS ITEM FOR MY SON AND SORRY TO SAY. IT NEVER WORKED. AND THEC D DOOR FELL OFF. I SAW THIS ITEM IN A MAGAZINE AND WAS SO EXCITED. THIS WAS SHORT LIVED.AND SO WAS THIS ITEM.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!
When I first saw this cd player right away I thought it was way over priced, but it was the only one I could find available to buy for my 4yr old daughter who loves to sing. After much thought I decided to buy it. Big Mistake!! She loves it but it has many problems. The two biggest being: if you move it, even slightly the cd will skip...this becomes very frustrating to a 4yr old or an adult. Also, it is very difficult to put the cd in. The front does not open very far and you can barely get the cd in. I wish I would have waited for a better one to become available. Not worth the price I paid.

A bit disappointing
My daughter received this CD player exactly one year ago as a gift.She absolutely loves it!Unfortunately, I don't.It simply stopped working this morning.I have tried several different CD's and several sets of batteries, but it will not work.We are now shopping for a new CD player.Also, when it did work, it skipped constantly if moved at all.My daughter was quite careful with it, knowing that if it broke it would not be able to be repaired.I think that for the high price tag it should be much more durable and certainly last longer that a year. ... Doesn't work
Bummer, opened on Christmas Day and did'nt work from the start.Film doesn't advance.Too bad we didn't keep the receipt. Kids now use it as a 'pretend' camera, which is really what it is.

Broken hearted kids
I bought this for my grandson's 3rd birthday.What a beatiful and fun camera.The only problem, it doesn't work at all.It doesn't advance the film and if you can get it to advance it certainly doesn't rewind to take the film out.What a heartbreak.It's got such a great outside design and is so child friendly.Chicco should work over the camera part and this would sell big.The Fisher Price child camera works well, it's just too hard for a young child to use and has no fun features.Too bad the outer camera of the chicco couldn't be combined with the inner camera of the fisher price.Any young entrepreneurs out there???This would be a great science project.

Avoid This Cute But Worthless Camera
I could kick myself for ignoring all those other reviews which described this camera's unacceptable performance.The cute and kid-friendly design drew me in but after sending off the first roll of film and learning NONE of the photos could be developed, I discovered the mechanics are completely substandard.Now I'm finding it difficult to load and advance the film... thought I figured it out, then realized the film didn't thread at all even though the number indicator advances each time you press the button.Forwarding wheel seems to be losing its action, too.

Please don't waste your money; even disposable cameras would be more reliable and economical than this piece of junk.It's really too bad, because my daughter found the camera fun and easy to use.A better mechanical design would make this thing wonderful. ... Read more
