Not Nice
If you buy this for a Holiday and the next year the girl will be turning 9 I would not buy this toy. Say you buy this for Christmas and your daughter is 8 years old the next year she will be 9 and she will hate this toy! I got this when I was 8 but I only played with it for 2 months! I already stuffed it in the bottom of my toy chest!!

This is a really boring toy. I fyou still like babrbie this may be fun, but when you grow up you will hate this toy!! I recomend this to 4 year old trough 8. This toy is so boring (if u r older than 8)

TOO HARD TO DO
This was the number one toy my 5.5 yr old daughter wanted for Easter. She loves playing with Mommy and Daddy's PDA and this was to be one of her own.The new color one might be better as the Barbie Black and White is too hard to see and not much fun to color. (Hmmm, shall this be black or...white?) It was also very difficult to figure out what the games were. This Pixter software cartridge fits in the expansion slot of the Pixter creativity systems. With the black and white Rescue Hero Mission Masters software, you can choose from four mission locations: arctic, sea, wilderness or city. Within those mission locations, you have four activities to choose from. When you select the Scene Starters activity, you get your rescue mission assignment from Warren Waters. With Scene Starters, you can use digital stamps, shapes, or freeform drawing to add to one of the Pixter backgrounds. If you stamp a picture of a dog in the landscape, Warren Waters will tell you about a rescue involving animals that are in danger; if you put the fire stamp on something, he'll tell you there is a fire emergency, and so on. There are also puzzles to put together, a maze to solve, and a mix and match game. Lots of fun for preschoolers
My son just received this toy as an early Easter present from Grandma.He is 3 and has SO many toys.It seems each time he gets a new one it is only fun for a little bit and it finds its way to the bottom of the toy box.Sam has had a blast with the underwater creatrix.He likes creating silly undersea creatures and its an activity that we can do together.Its the best toy he has gotten in a while. ... This Pixter software cartridge fits in the expansion slot of the Pixter creativity systems. The Dino Draw software has four activity modes for lots of prehistoric fun. You can draw dinos freeform, use the starter scenery and digital stamps to make a picture, search for bones and put together puzzles of different dinosaurs, and even feed the extinct critters. As with the other black and white Pixter software we played with, the activities are fun but we found the graphics to be primitive--some were just plain hard to figure out. low usability
Not as usable as I thought it would be.My 4 y.o. plays with it but gets frustrated because once you touch the stylus on the screen, there is no way of retreiving the image unless you erase the whole thing and start all over again.Well made computer games should make it easy to get around.

Very cool!!!
I'm a big fan of Finding Nemo, so naturally I got this viewmaster. Every picture is remarkable; it makes you feel like you've really jumped into the film. This black and white Barbie Fashion Show software allows you to create fashion pictures with Barbie and her friends and get Barbie ready for a fashion show. Put Barbie in one of the Pixter backgrounds and then add accessories with digital stamps or draw them freeform. Play a matching game with Barbie's favorite things. Glamorize Barbie with makeup, jewelry, and a hairstyle. We found the Barbie software to have less variety in activities, and less interesting games than the other Pixter software. Pretty Good
My 5 year old decided to purchase the Pet Shop with her Christmas money.After seeing it, I would have to tell you that it's a bit complicated for a 5 year old.I had to read the directions and explain to her how to play each game.We've had it for a week now, and we are still learning about the different features.She does love it when it's time to feed her virtural pet, that's fun to her.She's ready for a new game already.

Toys R Us should know better
When a person purchases a Color Pixter, Toys R Us should know better than send a Pixter Travel Case that does not fit the Color Pixter. No where on the discription did it mention it was for black and white only. This is only one more reason to go to the store where you can see for yourself. On a plus note, I purchased the item for $9.99 and Toys R Us credited me $14.99. They would not accept my invoice as a receipt and treated it as a return with no receipt. But it cost me at least $5.00 in gas for the trip.

Won't fit color pixter
My daughter received this case as a gift to go along with the color pixter we were getting her.Note that I specified "color", something that the product description doesn't mention.The case does not fit, not even close.It seems steardy and has room for two game cartridges, but frankly, that's useless in our case.If you've got a b/w pixter, it's a fine buy, otherwise don't bother. We'll be returning this case.
