AWESOME GARDEN!
I bought this for my 5 year old for christmas, and she had a ball painting the planter and then planting the seeds. Once it started to grow, we have had a ton of fun trimming and caring for the garden.I let her play with her polly pocket dolls on it because it belongs to her and she uses it as her "enchanted fairyland."So what if a little dirt gets on the floor, it cleans up.This is by far one of the few times I have not felt like I wasted my money.My 8 year old son even likes to be the landscaper.

I bought this for Xmas for my 6 yr. granddaughter. I wanted to have something to do while I was visting, and that she could enjoy once I went home. I let her do it herself. Grass and beans were planted wherever she decided. Of course she planted both everwhere. Within 2days the grass was up. The beans appeared the next day.My son just sent me a picture. The grass is taller than the house and the beans are everywhere. You can hardly see the house. I laughed my socks off. She doesn't want to cut the grass. Great Toy/Project
I am very happy with this lamp. I bought it for my 7 year old cousin as a gift and she fell in love with it. The lamp came with the paints for her to design however she wanted to. It is a great way for kids to open their minds and be creative. The one thing I would suggest is that it came in a variety of colors. It seems too much like a project for little girls only. Otherwise, it's a great product.

Awsome Lamp Painting
I think that the Groovy Ceramic Lamp is a good way to learn hand cordination because you have to be able to control the way you paint.Also it is a fun experiance that lasts.After you are done painting the lamp you can either give it to a loved one or keep for a reading lamp or whatever.So I promotethe Groovy Ceramic Lamp to a kid with a very artsy mind and imagination.

I read all the reviews and was excited to purchase this kit for my eight year old.

So Much Fun
Grandchild loved this gift. Her and her friends made tattoos for everyone. There were so many styles to choose from and they really lasted. Would buy again in a minute.

No worth the Money
It doesn't come with enough tattous. They run out pretty fast. You are just buying 6 markers to draw and color your own designs.

My mom bought this set for my four year old son last week. At first I thought it might be a little advanced for him, but he got the hang of it in no time. Now he is tattooing the whole family. Very nice but...
...why not buy the materials at your local "superstore" -- clay for the body, paint and other decorations, wire for the wings and antennae, fabric and/or yarn for the wings, hangers...and THEN you can make just about ANYTHING -- beetles, aliens, fairies, rocketships, hot rods!!!...creativity to the extreme!

Loved IT..
My 6yr old and her cousin had a blast making this butterflys. I had extra jewels they used and it was just really a great project. I even did one myself it was so much fun. I will be ordering more sets for her... A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

great birthday gift
My 7 year old girl got this as a birthday present. The butterflies that come in the kit are very pretty and basically all the children have to do is decorate them. There were 3 butterflies included and my 4 year old also easily decorated one. We hung them from the ceiling in their bedrooms and they look very attractive. Great tea set
My seven year old niece had a tea party theme for her birthday, so this was a perfect gift! She worked on it with my ten year old daughter, and they completed it in one full day. The finished product is great. This is not a cheaply made tea set that's going to break the first time you play with it. My only complaint was that every color of paint was too thick so we had to add water. I should have taken the advise of another reviewer and only added a few drops. I made the yellow a bit too runny.

Great To Make and Use!
My daughter and I just finished our tea set a few days ago, and I felt this is a product that truly deserves a good review.I should start by saying that my daughter is MUCH younger than the recommended age and still was able to really enjoy this project.

Using the example on the cover of the box as a guideline for our tea set, we set out, with my daughter painting all the solid color on the plates and cups (I just smoothed it out a little).My first thought was that we were probably going to run out of paint, but as it ended up there really was enough paint included.Some of the colors were a bit too thick, but adding just a drop or two of water solved this problem.Warning: Don't do what I did and add too much water.Our orange became runny.

This isn't a project you are probably going to finish in one sitting.We did ours over a three day period.The paint dries pretty quickly, and I'm sure it's possible to do at one sitting, but probably not with young children who have a hard time keeping their hands off of not dry enough paint.Besides, stretching it out made it even more fun for us.

When it came time to make the paint permanent by baking it in the oven, I realized we had lost our instructions.We e-mailed and left a voice mail at Creativity For Kids.Not only did they e-mail back right away with the instructions, but they also called a couple of days later.WOW!

Our tea set turned out very cute and my daughter is really having a good time serving tea and food to me and her stuffed animals and dolls.This is definitely something that we will keep and treasure. ... Read more

Beeswax Candle Kit
I purchased this for my daughter as well as my niece.It was a total waste of money. The wax was difficult to use and most of it cracked.As an adult, it was difficult to work with the wax.I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Great Craft
This book is a great introduction for making candles. While it is targeted towards kids, I had a lot of fun with it. I've been doing crafts for quite a while now, but this was my first candle making effort. The beeswax sheets were easy to use and the candles turned out better than I had hoped. This diary is a nightmare!We made the mistake of making it a gift from Santa for our 7 year-old.Now, we have to explain why Santa would give such a lame gift.The diary, itself, is smaller than my hand.The pages were all stuck together.I actually had to separate them page by page.It looks NOTHING like the picture on the box and, most annoyingly, the lock is absolutely impossible to open.Even the directions warn you that the lock is very difficult to open with the key.We're going straight out to buy a good old-fashioned diary.Shame on this company for promoting such a disappointing product! ... Waste of $ and time
My 2 daughters spent a long time painting the plates and did some beautiful designs, only for them to start coming off as soon as the paint dried.The painted plates are useless, if even a drop of water hits the paint it comes off --Since the product is using glass plates which only older children can handle I think they would be responsible to handle proper glass paint as well.WHat a waste of our money and our daughters' time. The initial "fun" factor was higher but quickly dropped to zero (but I had to select at least one star!) after the girls realized the artwork wouldn't last

Fun With Two Glass Plates
Painting the plates is a fun activity because you can be creative. The only problem is that you have to be careful or they could crack or break.

Don't bother with this waste of a product
Money aside, this product was very dissapointing, especially to a 7 year old little girl who was so excited to have a glittering butterfly tatoo on her hand.The tatoos are poorly created, as once you peel off and apply the glitter to one side, the "other" side, which is supposed to be sticky as well, is not.We tried 6 or 7 different tatoos, and all were the same.Again, this product is "poo-poo" according to my 7 year niece. No allowance of creativity
I was very excited to receive this scrapbooking set, but I was dissapointed in it. First off, the kit doesn't give kids (or anyone using it) enough creativity. All it really is, is telling you what to glue where, no real thinking or creative aspect involved. I would recomend just going to Joann's and picking up scrapbooking supplies to fit YOUR needs.
