the best thing ever!!!
This truck and boat both work very well. I really like it!!!!!!!!

Good value, some minor limitations
My son just bought this truck/boat combo with a Toys R Us giftcard that he won. He is 8 years old and was very excited to find this boat AND truck together. It comes with 1 remote to be used with both items, which is fine. It also comes with a 6V battery pack for the truck. The Boat comes with 4 AA batteries but can also use the battery pack. I did buy an additional 6V battery pack for the boat so that I don't have to continually buy new batteries.

The truck is light and has full motion remote. It is speedy but does not work much at all on grass or rocks. But works great on the driveway and sidewalk. The Truck is considerably slower when towing the boat. The boat hooks onto the back of the truck, but, unfortunately, the little plastic piece that securely attaches the boat trailer to the truck became bent slightly on the first day so it now longer stays on very securely. The truck will pull the boat, but if it turns sharp or stops suddenly, the boat trailer will come unhooked.

As far as the boat is concerned, it works well in the water, the AA batteries seem to last about 40 minutes or so, it's not a very fast boat, not slow, but not real fast. But it is just fine for my 8 year old son. I'm not sure if he could handle a faster one at this point. It does seem to have a pretty good range of about 60 feet or so.

Overall, it's not a bad value -- not great, but not bad and my son is VERY pleased with this combination, so that's good enough for me. ... Read more

What good is owning a whole fleet of die cast racing vehicles if they end up sprawled across a bedroom floor or buried in the bottom of a toy box? This clever toy within a toy system features 18 racecars of varying shapes and sizes as well as a sizable truck to tote them around with.The truck, which wheels about quite nicely on its own, has 18 individual clear plastic compartments, each of which could probably also hold most Hot Wheels or Matchbox cars. disappointed little boy
i got this item for my grandson's 3rd birthday and just like the posted recommendation, within 2 days the truck broke and so did my grandson's heart. this item cost me $31 and now it,s all for nothing. whoever is responsible for the quality of the construction of this toy should be ashamed of themself. i know i will never waste my money again on this companies products and will make sure to inform others not to waste their money either.......

Sad Christmas
My 3 year old son asked for this truck for Christmas.I thought it would be nice for him to use AND then keep his cars in.The day after Christmas when we played, it tipped over on the kitchen floor and the plastic side broke.Also the plastic hatch on the back of the truck broke, and the two sides came apart.We had to tape the back end together so he could steer it and take the jagged plastic off of the side.The clips on the sides do not stay latched well either.Great ideas in the truck, but poor design and testing of product. ... Dodge Ram SRT-10 is the World Fastest Pickup, So is this toy
Sweet!!!! I been waiting forever for some one to come out with R/C Truck besides the Ford Lightning so I'd have something to Race my brother's R/C 1:6 Ford F-150 lightning which is really nice radio controlled vehicle & is about 20 bucks more and comes with fully functional doors(interior) & tailgate plus a alarm. Back to SRT-10 this Probly The Fastest Beginner Level R/C truck u can buy its light on frills, but its really fast & well made, only thing missing is SRT-10 exhaust pipe out the rear bumper, but this baby sure does movvveee!!! when fully charged it Spins the Rear tires going forwards or backwards & has spring loaded rear end so the truck bed actually drops when reversing. its Level 3 so its about the second fastest motor in the Toy R Us Fastlane lineup with less weight/top speed than the level 4's but its more than comptent up against any electric powered R/C truck out there especially the Ford Lighting offered at Circuit City last X-mas in the Acceleration department. its quite life like due the 1:10 scale & u know when u take it outta box its a Full Size truck. The only downsides to this truck are fact that there are no intermidate level upgrades avalible from toyrus/fastlane to make it faster for more professional hobby use to be competitive with 20mph + nitro R/C cars & trucks. Secondly, it only Comes in One Color Red. All in all for 50 bucks this is a Good Truck & Fair Representation of what makesSRT-10 one of the Fastest vehicles on street. Good Job Toy R Us!!!!

Hello "AGAIN" I am hear to talk about the lights on the truck because i think that every car should have lights on it so you can see in the dark if you are driving in the streets at night with your friends. Also if look down it doesn't tell you anything about the lights or about the trunk or about what type of batteries the cotroller takes.

If you have the $, go for something better
It was a choice at the store between this set and a couple other more expensive ones.We ended up getting this one because it was the least expensive set.And you *do* get an awful lot of stuff for $15; but something broke literally the second I took it out of the box.The toys are a mix of die-cast and plastic, and the plastic bits have a tendency to pop off -- especially the tracks on the excavator/loader thing.The arm of the loader is also really stiff, and it's really hard for my 2 1/2 year old to play with it.The first time I tried it I forced it too hard and one little metal rod popped out of a socket, and another broke off altogether.It seems I'm having to fix something every few minutes.The workings of the crane are also a little esoteric for a little kid.Bleh.

Buyer Beware
Says diecast on the box but some parts are diecast other parts are plastic. Take that big nice crane for example. The truck portion and the crane turret are made of diecast. But the boom part(piece that has autocrane in blue letters) of the crane is plastic. Here is the flaw in this piece. We gave this to my 2 1/2 year old son for Christmas within 10 minutes the plastic piece had seperated from the diecast piece. Several other vehicle pieces have already broken too. I would not advise anyone to buy this unless you want your kids to come to you every 5 minutes with a new piece broken off. Gave it 3 stars for fun because my son really likes this toy, however daddy is tired of trying to fix pieces every 5 minutes.Guess you get what you pay for. This toy SUCKS!!!! ... Read more

Sardines and Gummy Worms...YUM!
Another great Gamewright creation that my 6 yr old and I love to play!It requires a bit of concentration and a quick hand.If your kids like Slap Jack, they'll love this.The illustrations are great.The slamwich "ingredients" are..."interesting"...sardines, french toast, gummy worms...mmm!I highly recommend the Gamewright collection.

KIDS LOVE THIS GAME!
I got this for my daughter when she was 10 and it has been one of her favorite games ever since.It's even fun for the whole family ( 13 & 15 year old even like it).Good game!

I have an older version of this game that I use in counseling/social skills groups at an elementary school.I am always looking for games that keep everyone engaged and actively involved, and Slamwich fits the bill perfectly.The kids absolutely love it, especially when the "sandwiches" are disgusting (e.g., peanut butter and onions).And, even though the game is theoretically competitive (the player to get all the cards wins), the kids usually enjoy the game play so much that they share their cards with anyone who runs out.Great fun, and very entertaining! ... needs better battery
If I pay a $100 for a remote car I expect the battery to last longer than 10 minutes of play.It is cool looking and all that but what's the point when it doesn't run very long. According to directions you charge it for 4 hours, let the battery cool and then finally can play for roughly 10-15 minutes.After playing for awhile it acts like your constantly braking which I assume is because the battery is going dead but with no phone number anywhere on directions can't call the manufacturer to find out.Very dissappointed in product and will probably end up spending another $15 on an extra battery.Next time I'll just buy the $20 remote cars because the one my son got 2 years ago works better than this one.

With so much going on in this multi-level parking garage, kids could be occupied all day. The first level features a convenience store with gasoline pumps for fueling up. Kids can park cars on one of the three upper tiers and send them zooming down again to exit at either a drop-down ramp or a switch-controlled ramp with a lift-up barrier at the end. Save your Money - Keep it on the shelf
I have never been more disappointed in a toy - ever - than I was with this one.My 3 year old got the Toys r Us catalog and for 6 weeks only wanted this toy -- ONLY THIS TOY.Christmas day we put it together and the plastic is cheap, the stacking trays do not stay together and are far from user friendly for a young child.Imagine the disappoint that the gift he so wanted has ended up in a bag.I would return it to the store, but I know I am missing pieces and for the hassle - it really isn't worth the time or effort.I just hope that some time the manufacturer would allow a young child the time to TEST THESE ITEMS.There is no way a young child could find enjoyment out of it if they have to either call for help to reassemble, or learn to repair it themselves.I will never buy anything from this manufacturer again!Super glue is an option....but for the money spent on it....you shouldn't have to work that hard to put things together!

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!
Without being overly repetitive -- I agree 100% with all the reviews already written and wish I'd done my research.We stupidly spent $45 (!!) on this toy -- and the saddest part is that it was the only gift Santa brought my 4 year old boy this past Christmas.I can't even begin to describe our disappointment.But lesson learned -- lucky his birthday is coming up in Feb. so we can make up for the disappointing Christmas experience.This is another case of learning not to read a "book by it's cover" -- the picture on the box is NOT what the toy is really like.We should have just stuck with our "simple" fisher price little people garage!

Even if this toy was on "super discount" I wouldn't buy it because by the time you put it together you will be CRAZY -- and then to watch it break into pieces 10 seconds later will REALLY make you mental!

"fast lane" 9.6V battery pack and car
Although this is the best rc car I've ever owned, the batterpack still seems to wear down over time ( a pretty short period of time).I do follow all directions in the manuel, like using it up completely before recharging, giving it ten minutes to cool down, and not over or under charging it.

fun but lack of detail
Fast lane took no time in creating this beatiful car. the stickers on the car make it look like a 1969 boss instead of a 67' fastback. the little scoops on the rear window and the spoiler also do not belong on this car. last the rear wheel well is molded wrong and flat at the end. overall if the car was made with more car it would be bought by many mustang fans like myself.

A Fire Engine With SPINNER RIMS??!!
This steaming pile of a toy really disappoints me to no avail. Why in the name of the gods would anyone put SPINNER RIMS on a FIRE TRUCK? BLING BLING! Well at least that's what TRU thinks when you purchase this "R" BRAND toy.

I won't even begin to do my typical breakdown of my review because this toy barely warrants a review in the first place. Out of the TWO that I have played around with, one actually worked properly. They are utter garbage! Do yourself a favor and pass this one up for something decent.

PIECE OF JUNK
Last night I brought my little one to Toys R Us to let him pick out a ride on toy...well wouldn't you know this POC (piece of crap) was definitely not his first choice.He opted for the cheap little wiggles red car....go figure....well anyway...I saw this cute little jeep and it was the last one, they couldn't find the battery, one hour later, found the battery, they were going to discount it, didn't.Walked out of the store paying, $177.00 and some change...came home charged the battery...it blew a circuit in my home....should I continue?....reset the circuit breaker....put it on an outside plug .... in the morning NO CHARGE....called the store and told 'em I should have checked on here first....WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS I THINKING!!!!!! You got it, I wasn't....my little heart was just trying to bring some joy into my son's life and BAM.....did I mention this is a PIECE OF CRAP....it is now almost noon....the battery still hasn't taken a charge and guess where we will be heading...this afternoon, instead of jumping in the ocean on this very very very very hot day in Plum Island....you guessed it...to take this POC .... back to TRU and start shopping more online via AMAZON!!!!hmmmm....any questions?...

im taking it back have not put it together. but i have 5 children this is for my grandson. the battery is to hard to hard to get to. if you plan to have happy children you need two batteries with these toys. am unable to find any info on average time the car will run, or find any way to ask anyone

not worth the money
I bought 2 of these items for my 2 boys age 2 at 30 pounds and age 5 at 38 pounds. These 4by4 do not ride well I spent the day pushing them or pulling them. This item dose not ride well on gass small in climbs or over dirt and little rocks. The only place they seemed to be ok was on black top.This items is not a good buy. ... Read more

A GREAT CAR
This car was a great addition to my RC car collection. It is great to race and goes super fast. the only thing that i did not like about this toy is the low bumper, however it makes it look a little slicker and cool. If u wanna get this car also try to get a freind to buy one because they are really fun to race. the controller has great range so u can sit in your room and race it looking out the window. That is what i always do (u may freak people out when they are walking by) SO OVERALL BUY THIS TOY IF U CAN AFFORD IT. also if u do not already have one, u need a battery pack so b prepared 4 forking over another $10-$25. ... If you want a really loud toy, this bulldozer is for you!If you want it to perform the tasks that it is supposed to do (i.e. move around), don't buy this toy.I bought this for my son's 4th birthday.He loves any construction vehicle, so that is a plus.The bummer is that this toy does NOT move/drive like it is supposed to,on any surface.What it lacks in movement, it sure makes up for with VERY loud noises (no volume control).
If you do buy this toy, invest in some ear plugs.

One of the worst buys ever.What a disapointment.My husband is in construction, so when my son saw this at the store, he was excited so I got it.First day within a couple of hours, some of the buttons on the remote broke.So, I went back to Toysrus and they replaced it.I brought the second one home and the thing doesn't even move!! NOT ENOUGHmAh
For the price this is a horrible battery. This battery has a very very low mAh rating for this style of battery, and it will be very evident the first time you use it! Even though it is a 7.2V battery the mAh rating is only 1600, the mAh rating is among other factors, how long the battery will hold its charge.I recommend a 7.2V battery to be rated 3000 mAh this will provide a much better and longer driving experience. Do a little searching and you will find most 7.2v batteries of this style are rated at least 2600 mAh. I really do not understand how anyone could sell this battery for the prices I have encountered. The educational value of this toy is rated very high by me because if you buy one you will learn very quickly this battery will not hold a charge long enough to enjoy it! ... Read more
