Editorial Review

The Pixter is like a personal digital assistant (PDA) for kids. But instead of storing boring appointments and phone numbers, they get to draw, do puzzles, and learn a little, too. The Pixter is about the size of a small book, and has a pretty solid weight to it. It's made out of brightly colored and durable plastic. The main action of this toy is drawing with an attached stylus. The Color Pixter offers much better graphics then the black and white version, which comes in handy with activities like Paint-by-Numbers and Connect-the-Dots. You can draw a picture free form, or you can use one of the starter backgrounds. There are tool buttons, like on a PDA, that give you access to fun stamps, special effects, and the eraser button. You can also save your creation in the Pixter's memory. There are some boppy tunes playing along with all this creative activity, but luckily for parents, there's also a jack for headphones and a volume adjuster. An expansion slot on top of the Pixter accepts ROM-based expansion cards that contain additional software and games. Requires 4 "AA" batteries. (Not included.) --Megan Sullivan ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Deal Shopper Dad
I feel this is a very good product whick keeps my kids occupied, even during those long car trips. The color screen is a definite plus and a winner. Although the basic games that come with it are the same as the original pixter, color certainly adds to it.And with the adjuster cartridge connector, the kids are able to use even the old pixter cartridges.

I first had the Original Pixter, then got the color pixter for my 7 yr old and now I'm thinking of getting another one for my 3 yr old. The price is a little high and it would be nice if it came down or atleast,if they could add one or 2 cartridges with the starter pack.

But when the kids are sitting quietly playing with the color pixter and when u get the 'much needed quiet time after a long day', I would say its well worth it.

The batteries last a while too. And,there is a undo feature...Where u click for home, under the 'save to,open file' images, there is an undo arrow. Hope this helps.

1-0 out of 5 stars Get a Leapster instead
I was very disapointed in the Pixter. We returned ours and got a Leapster. The graphics are so much better on the Leapster and the games are much more fun and educational. Also the Leapster is much more intuitive, a child can pick up a Leapster and figure everything out - there is even a "hint" button if the child gets stuck. A child that gets stuck with the Pixter can only look at the grainy screen and wonder where they went wrong. This toy is not worth the money.

5-0 out of 5 stars Keeps them busy
My son is almost 4 and this has been one of his favorite toys of all time.He plays with his Pixter during most of his play time.It also keeps him entertained during those times when he is bored at a restaurant. We have several games but Hot Wheels is his favorite. I don't know why, it looks boring to me but to a 4 year old it must be wonderful. He loves to draw and use the stamps on his Pixter. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars After 2 Boys it is still running
I bought this for oldest boy when he was two.He is now Five and he has had a blast on it, my younger boy now three has beat it to death as well.It still runs great after 2 boys, and almost three years.Battery is getting weaker, but that is to be expected after being stuck in mud, a pond, and even rolled 2 or three times(Yes these can be rolled just like a normal 4-wheeler). Fun toy I would buy another one.

4-0 out of 5 stars High SpeedShift - Poor Design
After reading many reviews, we purchased this toy.The one poor design that no one mentions is the high speed shift.Once the cable is connected under the seat, the vehicle can be operated in low (2.5mph) or high (5mph) speeds. The manual reads: "IMPORTANT!To avoid damaging the motors and gears, stop the vehicle before shifting between low and high speed."

H-E-L-L-O???Anyone out there know many children capable of that process? This is unrealistic. To me, it's sounds like a very poor design. We have yet to connect the high speed because we don't feel our son will be capable of doing this feat each time he wants to go faster or slower.

Anyone have an experience with this?

PS.We just applied the traction bands. Will let you know how well they do work.

4-0 out of 5 stars Doesn't do so well on grass
My daughter is 2 1/2 and she loves driving it on concrete. When she goes on the grassy area in my backyard, it always get stuck (I have more grass than concrete). The wheels are moving but the bike is not going anywhere. She's 24 lbs., so I think she is not heavy enough to get the back wheels moving on the grassy area.Is anyone else having this problem? If it did a better job on grass, I would give it 5 stars instead of 4. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Learn through Music really teaches!
My mother in law got this unit with Elmo's Scavenger Hunt cartridge for my son when he was 1 1/2.While one of the other reviewers says it's too loud it does have two volumes. My son had mastered this cartridge by his 2nd birthday. So for Christmas we got him Elmo's numbers and Blue's Clues colors....he has excelled with this toy.
He know's how to mix colors now at 2 1/2 and can tell you exactly how to do it.How many kids his age know that green and yellow make Chartruse? And with Elmo numbers he knows how to count in English and Spanish.
It's an excellent toy...annoying at first because there is something new to learn on each "page" and the songs are great for kids but hard on parents.
As for durability..the only problem we have encountered in 1 1/2 years of use is that anything that falls into the cartridge chamber can harm it...in our case cat hair. But it's worth paying the price....it's excellent and it's a learning tool that can be used for so many things.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Toy!...worth the money
I bought this toy over a year ago for my now 2-1/2 year old daughter and she still plays with it.I now have a 19 month old daughter too, and she loves the toy just as much. The youngest bops to the music, and the oldest sings away in the microphone. I have not yet changed the batteries, the "pages" don't stick, the volume is a good volume since it can be adjusted with the "high/low" switch on back. I find the toy to be plenty durable since my youngest seems to stand on it quite a bit and has not damaged the screen or any part of it yet. I also plan to buy more cartridges this weekend for them since I just still have the one it came with. I'm hoping the others are just as fun for my kids as the Sesame Street one. I gave the toy only 4 stars because of the colors on the screen...it would be nice if they were a bit brighter and bolder for the kids.

1-0 out of 5 stars A whole lot of fun..... UNTIL IT STOPS WORKING!
My 18 month old daughter loved this toy soooo much in the store that I just had to buy it for her. I also picked up two extra cartridges for it. I thought the price was a little high, but for such a great toy I felt that it was worth it. Well, we got it home and she loved it! We played with it together (at all times, other times it was put up) and had so much fun with it... until 3 days after buying it when it stopped working. We didn't have any trouble with the microphone, but the pages would stick on every single cartridge. I changed the batteries, thinking that we probably just played with it too much, but that didn't help. I ended up taking it back to our Toys 'R' Us and exchanging everything for another. Okay, second toy worked really well for about 3 wks, then not only did the pages start sticking but the microphone started cutting out as well!! There was NO REASON for this! My daughter never threw it, stepped on it, hit it, etc. I took it back AGAIN (thank goodness for saving boxes and receipts!! The 3rd one worked a bit longer, almost 2 months, and then the same things started happening again. After putting new batteries in the 3rd toy and having the problems continue, I finally had my partner try to fix it himself! We ended up getting so fed up with this toy that we threw it, along with ALL THREE cartridges, in the trash. BIG, BIG, BIG waste of money!! I am extremely disappointed! ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Never left the store with it
I was looking for something to keep my baby entertained in the car instead of staring at the back of the seat. This looked like the perfect thing, but when I picked it up there was a terrible, strong chemical smell coming from the box, I put it right back.I can't believe BRU would even sell this product!

1-0 out of 5 stars Choose something else
I was very disappointed. It is drab and ugly, and the mirror is so small that I can't see my baby. I have an SUV, and not only does the mirror not stay put, but it is way too high for the baby to kick.I tried the sound and lights large version, and while the mirror is perfect, it still doesn't stay put, and the remote does not work. Very sad.

3-0 out of 5 stars Cute, but Disappointing
I loved the bright colors and the general look of this toy when I first saw it in the store.I thought my daughter would spend happy trips in the car, busily kicking the buttons to watch the fish dance. This has never really been the case. She will watch the fish swim with the motion of the car, but she has never gotten the hang of accessing the buttons. Now her legs are too long and kicking them is too awkward. The mirror works great, though.I can see her easily and it's not too obtrusive in the rear window. ... My son got this for Christmas when he was 19 months old.He loves it.It is the best.I would highly recomend this to anyone.Hours of fun!

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun Flash the Fire Truck
This is a great toy for kids. I bought this for a friend's son and he loves it! He is fascinated with the lights and sounds. This is a durable product and it entertains the kids for hours.
For the person who gave this one star, it was inappropriate to buy this product for a 14 month old child. There is a reason for the recommended age on all toys.

5-0 out of 5 stars Another great FP toy!
I had to write this review after I read a previous reviewer who gave this toy 1 star. My advice to that reviewer: READ THE AGE RECOMMENDATION! Don't call and complain to Fisher-Price that your child's hand got pinched when you buy a toy that is for 18 months up for a 14-month-old.

I am always impressed with the durability and imagination-inspiring design of FP Little People toys. You will never be sorry when you purchase them. I still have sets from the 70's when I was a child!

5-0 out of 5 stars A Neccessary Addition for Any Serious Geotracker
Okay, I've got a problem...I'm hooked on Geotrax!!!My kids love it, I love it, my husband loves it.I've been eyeballing the Geotrack 'Rail Track Pack--Straights' set for sometime now, but the only place I could find to buy it was from the Geotrax scalpers on E-bay.(Shame on them!Really, what kind of person hoards toys to keep them in scarce supply from children, then tries to sell them for 3 to 4 times retail?!!)

Finally, I found it IN STOCK on Amazon!!!!Naturally, I bought it (here and not from the scalpers)...this particular set is extremely useful. If your kids get into Geotrax, you're going to want the additional length of track, and the half-tracks make it MUCH easier to lay out new configurations.

5-0 out of 5 stars Geotrax Rail Track Pack (STRAIGHTS)
The Geotrax train is a VERY rugged and durable toy.It is also a great value. My kids have played for hours and hours and still have great enthusiasm and interest for this toy.

This kit makes it possible to connect both directions of the criss-cross track (like a figure 8).You'll need four of the 3" pieces of straight track to accomplish this. The other way to connect the criss-cross is to use two of the new 18" diameter curves found in the "Conductor's Crossing" kit from the "Air and Sea" series.Note that ALL curves are 12" diameter, except for these new special 18" diameter curves.

It is best to NOT use the 18" diameter curve track, so that all of your curves line up when you use the "Elevation Series" kits with the stanchions. The stanchions hold the upper level track above the lower level track. With the stanchions, the track pieces MUST be on top of each other and follow the same exact contour.

The 6" straight track found in the Rail Track Pack (STRAIGHTS) is a welcome addition. This is the only kit that offers a high number of rail straight track. You'll need these to make some really good and explanded layouts.

For more track layout ideas search for "Geotrax Track Layout" on eBay.

5-0 out of 5 stars Finally!
My girls love their GeoTrax set. They're 6, 4 and 2, and it keeps all of them entertained for a couple of hours at a time. However, until now, setup has been a headache.Because of the limited availability of the straight tracks, you were very limited as to the configurations you could use setting up the track.Basically, it felt like a puzzle that you had to get right in order for the two ends of track to line up.However, the new pack of straights makes the options limitless. We have been able to significantly expand the size of our railroad operation, reaching destinations never before possible (like WAY under the bed ;).It's no longer difficult to put it together because there are so many more possibilities.I have been waiting for them to come out with this particular track pack since we bought the main set, and I couldn't be more relieved. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars My son LOVES it!!
We bought this for our son for Christmas, at the time he was 1 1/2. We kept it inside for him to practice in the basement until it was warm enough to go outside. Once he got outside he loved it! I think he has had to ride it almost everyday since we took it outside, and it is still going strong. Every night we charge it so it is ready to go for the next day, and even the battery is still good. We have had others that riding on the grass wears the battery down really fast, but we have had no problems with this one.
My son is now two, and I'm not sure how much longer he will be able to ride it. He is only 30 pounds and is getting a little too big for it. We are now thinking of purchasing a bigger 4-wheeler. I will say you need to watch them close, he had tipped it backwards a couple of times trying to go up not very steep hills. We did get him a helmet so he knows he has to wear one when he gets older.
All around this is a great toy for smaller kids that want to imitate their older siblings!

5-0 out of 5 stars LOVE IT!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars This phone is a great toy!
I don't understrand everyones comments on not being able to hear the phone once the plastic thing in the back is removed.I really wanted this toy to go with my daughters laugh and learn home so I went to the store to look at it anyway to see what all the fuss was about. So at the store I reached behind the phone and ripped out the plastic thing and it sounds fine to me. It is plenty loud enough. So I bought it and my 9 month old daughter loves it.I don't know maybe fisher price has improved the product or something but mine is plenty loud enough.

5-0 out of 5 stars How I solved the volume issue.
I liked this toy for my 8 month old because it relates the pushed buttons (number or alphabet depending on the play mode) by visually showing them on the screen and audio ably saying them as there are shown; I thought what a great teaching tool. When I got it home and opened I noticed the volume was not as loud as it was in the store, I thought it was broken. I was considering returning it, until I realized a manufacture's pull tab (located in the back beside the screw to open the battery door) had been automatically removed and decreased the volume. I simply reinserted the tab, cut off the excess and taped up the opening. If you've already thrown away the tab anything you can make a 1½" to 2" long thin plastic strip from will work. Since I bought this for its visual effects I don't consider it a hold to her ear toy and I won't encourage her to use it that way, if as she gets older it becomes a problem, I'll re-adjust the volume. But for now my solution works for us.

2-0 out of 5 stars Definetly not loud enough!
I have a 3 year old and a 9 month old. They both like the phone but lose interest pretty quickly. Because they can't hear anything the phone is saying. I think they would play with it more if the volume was louder. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the Best Rescue Hero Vehicles
My son loves this RH toy! It holds lots of guys (a big plus for him) and was easy to assemble (a big plus for me)! I think it stays together much better then the RH airplanes, which I'm always having to put wings and windshields back on. This Ambulance and the Bi-Pod jet are the best of the Rescue Heroes vehicles set!

5-0 out of 5 stars We love it
We love this toy. We were so happy to finally see an ambulance. Otherwise, what does Matt Medic drive???We haven't had any problems with any parts staying on.My son is 3 and is thrilled with this addition to his huge Rescue Heroes collection.

3-0 out of 5 stars Rescue Heroes Ambulance
Not as cool a toy as we had hoped. We have most of the other large vehicles and this one snaps together easily, but for price, not that great an ambulance/rescue hero vehicle.Difficult for the rescue heroes to stay on the fold out sections in the back and the stretcher never stays inside the vehicle.Wench in front does not stay on well either.Pass on this one and purchase the mission select police car, jet or fire truck.Much better values for the money! ... Designed to encourage early role play, this small, colorful playground is centered on a giant tic-tac-toe board, with rolling x's and o's, that sits atop a yellow, open-air sandbox. My son who just turned a year, loves the toy.Again, yes it is noisy but that is what catches the attention of the little ones.HOWEVER, I am exchanging mine as well because the disks stopped turning. Not because of the battery but because my son likes to hold the disks still and now they don't turn.He loves the toy though and we will be exchanging it for another one, exactly the same.He would miss it too much!

Home to evil Lord Dragomont, this massive fortress sports a huge dragon's head centered above a set of swinging gates. Lights flash and alerts sound when the dragon's mouth opens. Turning a knob on the back makes "hot lava" flow to the right of the stone entryway steps. Further to the side rest two stone platforms, one above the other, equipped with a trap door that opens when a secret spot is hit. The toy's quality is decent but not mind-blowing. It comes with a 26-minute cartoon video, Fortress of the Dragon; also included are action figures of Lord Dragomont, a small red lizard, and a winged red dragon that shoots a missile out of its chest. 5-0 out of 5 stars A little different than pictured
I just received this set today, and there is one small change with the set as pictured. Instead of the tree, you get a parrot in a cage, and there is no cat. Otherwise, it's exactly as pictured (bed, pillows, lamp, nightstand, mirror, bed-tray). It's still a very cute set, and well worth the money. But expect these changes if you order it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Nice little bedroom set
The parent's room is a good value compared to some of the other loving family furniture sets. It comes with a bed, table, lamp, mirror, tree, and breakfast in bed tray that flips over to be a reading table. The bed has two pillows and a blanket so your kids can put their dolls to bed and cover them up. It's a lot of fun for little imaginations. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars GeoTrax Elevation Track Pack (RAMPS)
The "Elevation Track Pack (RAMPS)" is one of three track kits offered from the Elevation Series. The other two kits are the "Elevation Track Pack (FLATS), and the "Elevation Track Pack (STRAIGHTS & RAMPS)".

The RAMPS kit is great because it includes 4 ramps, which is enough track to elevate the train from level 0 (ground level) to level 1, level 2, and then all the way back down to level 1 and then level 0.

You will need this kit to use the Sky High Suspension Bridge (at level 1), and the High Chimes Clock Tower (at levels 1 and 2).

The other useful kit that you should purchase along with this one is the Elevation Track Pack (FLATS).Once the train is elevated, you will want to stay at that level. The FLATS kit includes a few straights, and just as importantly, the extra stanchions needed to hold the track up.

The STRAIGHTS & RAMPS kit is NOT very useful because it includes only 6 stanchions (the supports that hold up the track). There are NOT enough stanchions to use the Elevation track in the way that it was intended.

The only disadvantage is that the layouts get quite complex because now the layout is three dimensional (instead of two). This may present a challenge to use up all of the track pieces and to build a fun and interesting layout. You'll run out of track and have to go through a number of iterations, and time, to get it all connected.

All things considered, it is a great toy that is very rugged and it will keep your child's interest for a long time.

For some great track layout ideas, search for "Geotrax Track Layout" on eBay.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Whole New Dimension
This is a must-have item if you want to add the Clock Tower to your set.It also works well with the other "elevation" sets, particularly Mile High Mountain.

The set includes the following:

4 ramps (these are made from two shorter pieces that are screwed together)
2 curves
2 short straights
2 guard rails
2 end ramps
8 arches (2 supports and 1 crosspiece each)

The crosspieces of the arches have a picture of how the ends of the track should be aligned. The screws are a little tough but never need to be removed. The set is enough to run up two full levels and back down again (my son has played with this set just by itself having fun running up, around and racing back down). You can also make two single-level bridges, a single level bridge and a ramp down from Mile High Mountain, or many other setups.

This set literally adds a new dimension to a Geotrax set.Lots of fun.The short pieces also allow for different configurations that may have been frustrating in the past.Definitely fun.

4-0 out of 5 stars Way to go Fisher Price!
The new track are really cool to put together though a little tougher then the other track for younger children. My 4 1/2 year old loves it but my 3 year old just can't put them together nor does him understand the concept. My husband and I have alot of fun building large 3D tracks all over our living room.

Great toy but the elevation series is not for 2 1/2 year olds maybe 3 1/2. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for
We bought this for our daughter when she was a year old. This is not something I would recommend for a child who is still learning to walk- here's why:a quick re-enactment... Daughter takes lid off toy, gets up to practice her walking skills, falls on the box part of toy and gets swollen lip.The shapes should be just a tiny bit smaller, sometimes if they're at a slight angle it seems they don't want to fit, very frustrating for a small child who is actually trying to put the right shape in the right hole, but it won't fit.We ended up buying a better made sorting toy for about $30 and have had no complaints.

4-0 out of 5 stars a staple
We started playing with this toy at around 7-8 mos.The thing I like most about it is that we have another Fisher-Price shape sorter and the shapes are interchangeable so instead of only 12 shapes we have double that!Kate likes banging the blocks together, dumping the blocks, talking into the container, etc. It's not glamourous but a good basic toy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great sturdy, easy to clean, fun toy

I bought this block sorter when when our daughter was 7 months old. She couldn't yet understand how the shapes fit into the lid so we just kept the lid off and she'd play with the blocks and the bucket itself.

Our daughter loves to chew on the bucket and puts her face into it and babbles. She likes the sound of it.She chews on the blocks and likes to bang them together. She also loves to play with the lid.The set comes with 12 blocks in red, blue and green circles, squares, triangles and stars). Our daughter can easily pick up the blocks and throw them around.

I really like that the blocks clean easily with soap and water.I can throw the entire lot into the sink and not worry about tiny parts or batteries.I can see that our daughter will enjoy this toy for a LONG time to come. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice Doll, but looks less like Dora than others I have seen.
I purchased 2 of these dolls. I gave one to my 5 year old neice for her birthday right before Christmas, and she loves her though she is petite and Dora is nearly as big as she is! :)Then, I got another right before Christmas for half price (hooray!). I am holding onto her until Valentine's Dayas my 2 year old got the talking house for Christmas plus so much other stuff.

I really liked the concept of this doll. My daughter is 2 and loves babies! Mostly though, she loves DORA! I liked that this one has big accessories so that she can change her and the shoes are big enough not to loose like bitty baby shoes! She has puppy which is great, and nice combable hair.

My only complaint is she looks more oriental than hispanic like Dora. She looks "older" too!My daughter easily accepts her as Dora, so it is just my scrutiny!!!

I have yet to buy extra clothing, but that was key in my decision to buy this doll. The other Dora dolls we have are really nice, but you can't play "baby" with them and change their clothes!I wish I could get a good deal on the clothes - so far they are more than I paid for the doll!!! At $12.99 a set!

I probably wouldn't have paid $20+ for her with all the other Dora stuff we have, but since I got her for $12.00I figure what the heck!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars A Great Find!
My daughter loves Dora, but even more she loves animals. So she was really excited when she saw this doll in the store, because Dora has a dog with her.We had Nana buy this for Christmas and you should have seen her face when she opened it.Now Dora does everything with her.I can't wait to purchase some of the outfits for the doll.

The doll itself is fully poseable, has a beautifully painted face and sweet haircut.(and for parents - she doesn't sing, talk, or play music) She comes fully dressed and with a backpack, book, and of course the dog.The only drawback I have found is that the shoes come off a little easy. You may want to take them off and put them away so that your child doesn't lose them.

A really great toy for kids who like Dora.

5-0 out of 5 stars The only doll my child will play with...
We have tried every doll on the market and we finally decided to take a shot on this one and it has paid off tremedously. The doll is about 15" tall and comes with very durable clothing. We have also purchased a few other clothing sets and my daughter just loves dressing and undressing Dora. Her hair can easily be brushed.I would recommend getting the Dora clothing set that contains her pajamas.Showing my daughter how Dora gets ready for bed has been a great eduational tool for her. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Don'twaste your money!!Buy something else instead!
I just purchased this toy for my 9 month old daughter a few days ago.I wasn't sure if I shoud because the reviews didn't look to great. But My daughter loves music and it just looks like fun so I decided to try it out.Well she liked it when it was still in the box and then for the rest of the day after I put it together. And after that she hasn't touched it since. She could care less about this toy. There just isn't enough to do on it.If she was younger and wasn't able to do all the things she can she would probably like it but it is just boring for my 9 month old daughter. So I am returning it to the store to get something she will actually like.So if your baby is not very eaisly entertained (which some babys are) then don't bother with this boring toy.

3-0 out of 5 stars Annoying fun for your child at first....
This toy was very exciting for my son when we purchased it for him, however, this is one of the most annoying toys you will ever see.The music, though happy and fun at first, gets old VERY quickly. There are three settings but it's always the same song! We prayed for the batteries to die or our son to lose interest which of course he didn't for awhile-HE loved it!He played with it non-stop for days and it was ALWAYS the first toy he went to at playtime.

The problem we have with this toy is that the dancing monkey is too much of a temptation for children. Our son grabbed the monkey and held on until he stopped dancing and started making a funny clicking noise.Once he realized he could stop the monkey, the music and HIS dancing became second fiddle, his goal was to stop that monkey.Well after ONLY 2 or 3 times of this happening the monkey no longer dances the way he used to, the piano/music section ALWAYS seems like the batteries are low, and it basically just stopped working correctly.I am not sure if he broke a wire or it just wore out. This was a relatively expensive toy to "break" so easily and quickly after only about 3 weeks.

If I had it to do again, I think I would have left this one on the shelf. He really enjoyed it at first, now it's just pathetic to hear and see him trying to play with it as the "damaged" monkey spins and dances to the saddened, only partially audible music.......

4-0 out of 5 stars she loves it!
We got this for our daughter for christmas..she was 6 months then. She loved to look at the lights and monkey then. It actually helped her to sit on her own.She loves to play it and make the monkey dance. We have since moved it up to standing..by far this is her favorite toy! First thing she ever pulled up on!She goes to it mult times a day and just grins ear to ear when the monkey starts to dance. The only thing I dont like is that the "horns" don't play anything. She often grabs ahold of them and they dont do anything. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars You may as well throw your money into the nearest trash can
My kids couldnt wait until I put this together for them to play with it. After 10 minutes with it they were both crying because it wouldn't blow bubbles, and they could hardly push it. Despite my husbands and my best efforts we couldnt get this thing to work. I give up, it is going in the garbage.

1-0 out of 5 stars a piece of junk
Do not by this mower. It doesn't blow any bubbles, and is difficult to push.My three-year old was very disappointed and so was I.I checked the directions and we were doing everything correctly...directions are simple....We'll be returning it promptly for a refund.

4-0 out of 5 stars Messy clean fun...thank goodness the crayons wipe up easily
Our son is now 21 months-old and has had this toy for almost 6 months. He still insists on it every bathtime. He has learned to give Elmo a "bath" with the soap and washcloth (not included) and scribbles gleefully on the sides of the tub with the soap crayons. He even has learned to wipe the tub clean with his washcloth, saving daddy the tedium of doing it himself. My only problem with this is that it is difficult for little and big fingers to remove the crayons from the plastic "Dorothy" storage container. The opening needs to be a wee bit wider.

4-0 out of 5 stars Bath + crayons+ Elmo = FUN for my little one!
My 16 month old loves to color with crayons. When I saw this, I had to get it for her.She loves it!Elmo floats and dries up very easily. The crayon marks wash off the bath walls with no problem. The only problem she has with it is getting her tiny fingers into the little fish bowl to retreive the crayons.Otherwise this is a big hit in our house.

4-0 out of 5 stars Elmo and crayons make bath time fun!
We recently bought our 20 month old this for Christmas and she loves it. Elmo can hang from the shower head to dry, the Dorthey fish bowl has holes in the bottom to drain crayons, and it is all around fun! My daughter loves writing on the bath tub walls - what kid wouldn't? My only problem is it is hard for little ones to reach so far into the fishbowl for the crayons.. otherwise a WINNER! ...
