Editorial Review

With two different configurations to choose from, the All Terrain Switchboard offers young riders more versatility than your typical scooter or skateboard. The Switchboard is shaped like an oversize skateboard with abuilt-in handle that can either be popped up or locked down. With the easy-grip handle in the up position the switchboard is a scooter for beginners; fold and lock the handle down and it's an off-road skateboard. The board itself is made of wood, with nonskid treads for extra traction, an extra-wide wheel base(14 inches wide), and rugged off-road wheels. The Switchboard is definitely on the heavy side and may be a little too cumbersome for younger kids, but it trades the extra weight for stability and durability. --Chris Burns ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars this is a great toy
I bought this toy for my son for Christmas, I'm back to get another for my daughter. This toy has been used without injury by my 6 year old son, who can easily move the handle up and down, by 135 lb me, and by my 180 lb skateboarding stepson, who also approves of it. My son uses this toy with all the recommended protective gear. This board is clearly not a mountainboarding board and kids can certainly break their arms by doing just about anything. As I've said before, I'm back to get another one for my 8 year old daughter

4-0 out of 5 stars All Terrain Switchboard
My 6 year old loves this.It has been used by older kids (who exceed the weight limit !) and we have had no problems.

3-0 out of 5 stars I guess it's okay for _very_ young children...
I bought this product for my daughter for Xmas two years ago.It hasn't got much use because it is difficult to steer on a narrow sidewalk.Even so, the wheels have become very loose on their plastic trucks, and I can't find a way to adjust them!If you're looking for a scooter, skip this and buy another type of scooter. If you're looking for something to train a young child to ride a skateboard, this may be for you.I'd recommend this off-road model as opposed to the one with the regluar skateboard wheels - the off-road wheels can take more abuse and they can handle riding on grass and bumps.Because of its limited speed and steering, I wouldn't recommend this for a child older than 4.Older kids will struggle to keep up with their friends riding regular scooters if they're riding a Switchboard! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars BEST TOY SET IN THE HOUSE!
Bought this for my 2 year old and my 6 and 8 year olds have taken over!Every piece is so life-like.Pieces are a realistic size, unlike the barbie accessories...Current with times, including barbecue grills, cd players, fish bowls, gum ball machines, snugglie baby carriers, etc. Most of the pieces actually open, close, or play music...AWESOME SET for the kids who love to play house!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Cute toy with only a few problems
The furniture is so cute. My daughter loved setting up the rooms. However, the furniture is almost too big for the rooms. We have the classic dollhouse. I don't know how it would fit in other dollhouses. The bathroom is an especially tight fit. Also, the laptop and book that came with it kept coming apart. That said, I am glad we have it because my daughter loves playing with it.

3-0 out of 5 stars TIME CONSUMING
INITIAL SET-UP IS VERY TIME CONSUMING AS FAR AS APPLYING THE STICKERS. FURNITURE INCLUDED IS CUTE, BUT NOT MUCH THERE. HAD TO RUN OUT TO THE TOY STORE FOR OTHER ITEMS. MY DAUGHTER PREFERS NOT TO HAVE THE SOUND EFFECTS ON. VERY CUTE TO LOOK AT. VERY HARD TO PACK UP FURNITURE TO CLOSE CORRECTLY. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent educational toy with hours of entertainment
....My little girl loves her. It keeps her entertained and has really help her with her alaphabet and more. I would really recommned it.

2-0 out of 5 stars Great IF it works!
Let's make this brief - my sons ages 3 & 5 love this robot. The first one we received as a gift lost its graphics in the first hour. The next one started cutting out with sound problems in three days. Did I try new bateries and troubleshooting in the manual, YES. Because my 3 yr old really loves it, I will try one LAST time before Kasey is in the dump. If you buy it, save the receipt.

5-0 out of 5 stars Kasey is #1 in our House
My son received Kasey for Christmas last year and absolutely loves his robot! He loves how the buttons light up and how Kasey dances. I am home schooling my son and have tried to get him to learn from books and similar sources but at age 4 he wasn't interested. He took to Kasey right away and has learned so much in a year of having the robot. This year he got the Science Wonderful World cartridge and just loves it. Also, he takes Kasey in the car when we travel and he is quiet the entire time. Kasey has been through a lot in the past year, some drops and bumps but he has endured! I would definitely buy Kasey again! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A lot of fun!
We purchased this set for my son Christmas 2003.He loves it.The age range on the listing is off, though. It should be the same for any of the Little People toys - 12 or 18 months and up.There are no small parts.Highly recommended and fun during the holidays or any time!

4-0 out of 5 stars Cute....
I bought my 2 1/2 yr old son this for Thanksgiving last year & it was very cute.I agree about the white packaging with loose Little People & accessories; I would have loved to have the white package. Mine was in the regular package where you see what you get & it takes 30 minutes & two cut fingers to get it open.I don't know why Fisher Price feels the need to have twist ties on every piece, my son got bored waiting for me to open it.After I got it open it is very cute.We got extra people to go w/ it at Target, they come in Christmas tubes.I packed it away for next year, it'll be his very own Christmas decoration to put out while I decorate the house with the glass he can't touch.

4-0 out of 5 stars very cute
I find this set to be just a little more than my 14 month old can use right now.Although he loves all the pieces, he doesn't understand having the reindeer pull the sleigh and the houses are a little light-weight and the doors a little too small to really be easy for him to use.I think this will be a big hit next Christmas season.Oh, and ours came in the "hard-to-open" package (I hate those), not a white box. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars A great addition to any child's rescue hero collection
My 5 year old son has had this toy for 3 months and he still enjoys playing with it.He has almost all of the Rescue Hero vehicles and this is one of the few he uses on a regular basis. His favorite feature is an orange button on top that causes the "feet" to pop out. There are also 2 pinchers that unfold from the bottom that come in really handy for rescuing people or animals. One rescue hero can sit inside and each pincher can hold another.

This toy also really allows my son to use his imagination. He'll sit for over an hour with it and his other Rescue Hero toys rescuing his toy animals and toy cars from earthquakes, volcano eruptions and more.

This toy is super durable. It has been stepped on, dropped and thrown down the stairs and it still looks as good as new.Any young rescue hero fan would enjoy this toy.:-) ... Read more

Editorial Review

Elmo has certainly sold out. The fuzzy red Muppet is dressed up in a chicken suit, with only his red face and hands showing. The fuzzy suit is bright yellow with a white chest, orange feet, and a red comb on the hood. Push the button on Elmo's left foot and his high-pitched voice encourages little ones to do the Chicken Dance with him. His arms flap and his knees bounce up and down as he sings the lines, "Elmo wants to be a chicken, Elmo wants to be a duck" to the familiar, but annoying, tune. Press the button on his right foot and Elmo will cluck like a chicken and move his head. Note that these two actions are the only ones Elmo does; there is no volume control, repeatedly hitting a button will cause a "rap effect," and the body under the chicken suit is hard plastic, which hurts his huggability factor. --Pam Lauer ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Good while it lasted
Since he was an infant, our son has LOVED the Chicken Dance, and when he was 5.5 months we bought him Chicken Dance Elmo.At first he thought it was odd, but then he started to like it and we knew that whenever he was upset Elmo could get him to calm down.Eventually, at 7 months he went through a phase where he no longer wanted to be changed on his changing table.Wouldn't you know, Elmo was the the one toy that could occupy him long enough for us to change his diaper.

My BIG disappointment with Elmo is that he is not very durable. We used him for entertainment purposes only and after two months he just stoppped singing. He still clucks like a chicken if you press his foot, but when you press the other foot nothing happens (no song and dance). We thought it needed more batteries but after trying that its clear that Emlo is broken.Which is too bad since we really liked this toy.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great product for young kids!
I bought this toy for my neice on her 1st birthday.Out of all the awesome, expensive toys that she's gotten, this was her favorite! The best $15 I ever spent! It goes everywhere with her, and she's learned how to dance from watching and playing with Elmo.I loved this item so much I'm buying one for my baby (well actually it's for me)!

4-0 out of 5 stars Suprise hit!

Editorial Review

If your child is building a Loving Family Home collection, this "dining room" set will fill at least one of its rooms with classic, if miniature, décor. The set features four high-back chairs, a booster-seat for Baby, four place settings, birthday gifts with (molded) balloons, and a punch-filled pitcher with cups. The centerpiece of the dining room, as in most real homes, is its cleverly made dinner table. It displays a pizza on a checkered tablecloth on one side, accompanied by "Italiano" music. But flip the double-jointed table legs up, and turn the table over: now you have a floral tablecloth, birthday cake and birthday music! Its low tech, but lights, sounds, and versatility make the dinner table the highlight of the set. Required: 3, "AAA" batteries. Diane Beall ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars She didn't want to let go!
We had came back from toysrus. Dropped off the stuff inside our home and relaxed for about 20 minutes. Within that time, I got this set out since I was interested in it also, lol, and she was just too into it! She threw a fit when we had to pull her away from it because we had to leave again...! Which was fine in a way since we knew SHE really made a good choice on which set to buy. And she's only 2 and some months.

5-0 out of 5 stars My daughter loves this!
This is a very cute toy.My daughter received a giant dollhouse for her second birthday in December 2003 made by her grandpa, and then many Loving Family accessories to go in it.She loves all of it.Even after Christmas came and went (I realize it's only January but at two years old, toys often hold her interest for a very short time), the dollhouse and accessories are the hands-down favorite.I love all the Loving Family items. They are darling, and realistic down to the tiniest details. She loves the happy birthday song it plays, as well as the pizza party song. Her grandma has an older version at her house, which played three songs and seemed a bit simpler to use (no legs to fold down, just a button to push to change the table's theme music), but this one is still pretty neat.I worried my daughter would be a bit young for these items but she absolutely loves them!Nothing has broken so far but I gave it four stars because I am assuming it's somewhat delicate just because it is so small and has some small accessories.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun addition to dollhouse
My daughter just got this, along with the dollhouse and other accessories, for Christmas. She will be 3 in a week and a half. I think it's a wonderful addition to the house. She has lots of fun playing with it. She always wants it on the birthday party side, but I'm sure as she gets older she'll want to change it sometimes. The balloons sing Happy Birthday when you set them on an interactive spot in the house, and you can press the candle on the cake and the candle on the pizza side to get more music. I wish the booster attached better to a chair because it always falls off, but that's not a huge deal. This is a must have addition to your loving family dollhouse! ... Read more

This turtle is wonderful. It has gotten us through many restaurants and car rides. My son has just loved his turtle.Buy a few for shower gifts while it is on sale.It is is great for tummy time of course but it is also a great toy that keeps my son's interest when others do not.Just an all around great toy!

5-0 out of 5 stars Good Deal
This toy is very entertaining for my little girl at a great price! She is 5 1/2 months old now and has been playing with this toy for a few months now.Even when she hated tummy time she would stand it for a few minutes and try to look at herself in the mirror. Now that she can roll over onto her belly on her own, she loves tummy time and this is one of her favorite toys for it.She will try to scoot around the floor and follow it if it starts to move away from her and is very amused with the baby in the mirror. For some reason, even when she was tiny and I would just show it to her when she was laying down, her favorite part has always been the turtles smiling face.

5-0 out of 5 stars So Adorable
After reading other reviews, this was one thing I picked as a present from my husband's parents. The mirror really is very clear, and I just love how cute it is.(I haven't had my baby yet, so I can't comment on whether the baby will like it, I can comment on that when the time comes). ... Read more

Welcome Baby to the brave new world of interactive books with this LeapPad-styled talking picture book system. As with regular books, grownups will want to introduce their tots to the concept, sitting together at first and pointing out pictures and words. Soon they can advance to the interactive part: touching words, objects, holes, icons, or textured spots on the pages to hear descriptive phrases, music, words identified, and fun sounds. More than 100 songs can be heard, and with the purchase of additional stories and cartridges, the opportunities for fun learning are endless. The Baby Animals book (included) is simple and colorful, with recognizable critters in their own settings. The system allows three modes to play: Story, Explore, and Surprise. 1-0 out of 5 stars Annoying Toy of the Year
I bought Power Touch Baby for my little girl when she was 13 months old.We have all of her toys in our living room for supervising purposes. The PTB drove us insane! It repeats its self over and over, it will change what it is saying mid-word if a different object is touched(I don't think we ever heard it say a complete sentence), the book falls out, and even though the PTB has never been banged around, it will still get "stuck" on a word for no reason. It needs an award for the Annoying Toy of the Year and should be sold along with a hammer to destroy it with.

4-0 out of 5 stars cute toy, but.....
I bought this for my daughter's 1st birthday. I agree with the other reviews that the book is not secure and my daughter always pulls it out. I wish I would have waited to buy this toy. If your child is still slapping things and not pointing yet, you should wait. My daughter slappes the book and all the noises go off at once(very annoying and fustrating). But, I will not say this is a terrible toy. It's really cute and educational. I'm just going to wait a couple more months before I try using it with my daughter again, and I'm sure she'll love it!! :)

5-0 out of 5 stars so easy to use!
My daughter recieved this as a present, and I wish I had gotten it sooner. We had gotten a leapfrog a year ago, and she never liked it.After struggling with the leapfrog system, it was so pleasant to have a simple system where the pages are recognized automatically and she can put the book in and out by herself. The leapfrog is going into the closet! ... Simply put the Move ‘n Groove Dance Mat on the floor and let your child dance the day away. The keyboard makes six different notes, the instrument icons play various tunes, and when the picture of Barney is stepped on, he will issue instructions to step on the blue footprint, step on the red footprint, etc., and even congratulate the child when she steps on the correct spot. The furry, inflatable Barney figure spins around when music plays, an effect that would be better if he didn't tilt weirdly to one side. Nonetheless, Barney is still a nice bonus with this mat since, being removable, he is a fun toy in his own right. True, the combinations of things you can do may be limited, but the physical and interactive qualities of this toy are a big plus. --David Stoesz ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars TRICIA LYNNE MAY
I LOVE BARNEY HE IS THE BEST EVER AND MAKES MY DAY EVERYDAY INCLUDING SUNDAY GUYS SERIOUSLY INCLUDING SUNDAY!

1-0 out of 5 stars How to stabilize barney....
ok - if you've made the mistake of adding this to your toy collection you can try stabilizing Barney by sliding a pair of chopsticks down the right side of his right leg (but not all the way down - just under his arm to about ankle length)and a little baby spoon (or something that size that won't puncture the inflatable plastic) down the inside of his right leg. You still have to keep him inflated to the max and he still tilts to one side slightly. We will see how long the interest level lasts with our one year old and our 3 year old and then we will toss it!
One other piece of advice - just accept the fact that there is nothing that "teaches" dancing here - there is no instructional foot stepping directions from Barney. He just asks to find things on the mat - not to any song or rythym or any pattern at all. So, this could have some "fun" value if your child loves jumping around on the mat with Barney to all the music and sounds the mat makes when danced on.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun for a range of ages!
I have 4 kids from 1 to 6 and they all loved this toy!We haven't had any problems with it falling over. The only problem I have noticed is that it seems to go through batteries if you don't turn it off when not is use.I think this is a great item especially for the price! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars PRECAUTION
My husband wants me to warn you all:
Continuous playing of this CD in the car or while operating heavy machine may cause serious brain damage or shortness of breath. Parents shoud take special precaution when listening to "Bouncey Ball" which is known to provocate eye twitching and spasms. If you keep in mindthatit is the 30th track on the CD and you have already been bombarded by such favorites as "I am the Map"or "Bate Bate Chocolate", you can grasp the lethal effects it can have on a parents sanity and health.

NOW, that said, my 4 yr old is CRAZY about this CD, sings along with the songs and it really is a great buy! It has lots of songs, alot familiar from the show/videos.A must for any Dora fan....

Unfortunately my Husband may not live til summer if he has to keep hearing it over and over in the car...we often find our heads bobbing up and down to the beat and its scary...: ) .... so I sometimes have to hide it....I agree that after awhile my eyes begin to cross.....and once I told my Mom when she was in the car with us that some of the songs were lethal...by the time Bouncey Ball came on, she asked "Is this one of those lethal songs you talked about?" - That Proved it! I had not even told her!!!!!

: )

5-0 out of 5 stars Super Sing-A-Long CD!
Why did Nick Jr. wait so long to put this little gem out?It would've been fantastico for our Dora birthday party last year. With a super-sized selection (44 songs) this CD is a super bargain! The extensive playlist spans several Dora TV seasons, from Backpack! Backpack! to Baby Dino (with cousin Diego) to Buenes Noches (with the baby twins, 2005 additions to the Dora cast).Since we purchased the CD my girls have listened to it every...single...time we get in the car!A must buy for Dora fans of all ages.Bueno!

5-0 out of 5 stars great gift
My daughter recieved this for her first Birthday. She loved it and still does. It's one of the few toys that will actually hold her interest for more than a few seconds. Its great! The best part of the whole toy is that she can actually push the lever herself.I've found that a lot of toys are too hard for her to push or pull or whatever.

5-0 out of 5 stars Just like "the real grocerystore machine"
My kids always loved those machines at the grocerystore and love all the things that can come out of them, so we bought this for them while they play grocery store and for my younger ones to have fun with, (6 1/2 month old twin boys and 3 y.o twin b/g at the time)

You put about 4-6 peek-a-rounds in WIDE top so your little ones hands can easily fit without poseing a hazzard (hard candy, ring, teddy bear, and a lolly-pop come with them, some of them also make a little rattle when you shake them, and added bonus) and then push the blue lever to get one out, (randomly) and while they roll through the swirly slide in the clear dome shaped base (clear so you can see them go through) it plays a cute little song and some lights flash. If you dont want the music (its not too annoying but just if you dont want it) you can still play without batteries and the lever still makes them come out. It ends up at the base and you just put them in again. We have not had a huge problem with it falling over, all toys do, but I really wouldnt recomend this for pulling up.The yellow handle is one of my now 8 month old boys favorites because it makes one of those cranking noises, its not hollow, maybe they fixed it? But my 3 year olds LOVE guessing what will come out and seeing if their right! (surprize aspect like the "real gumball machine!). The little face on the top is also very cute. We all love it and its also great for pretend "grocery store" play! It teaches cause and effect and has a little imagination to it!
You can also buy more peek-a-rounds (or roll-a-rounds) which add more fun and also as backup incase you loose some!

5-0 out of 5 stars Lots of fun
I got this for my seven-month old and he immediately loved it.It took him no time to learn how to press the blue handle down and get one of the peek-a-rounds gumballs to come out.The top only has room for four or five of the peek-a-rounds (it comes with four:teddy bear, candy, lollipop and ring), so I had to stand by and continuously put more on the top as he pressed the handle.Whenever the handle is pressed, the gumball machine plays a short tune.It also has a switch to turn the songs off or control the volume. There is a yellow turn handle at the front that makes a clicking noise when turned. My son really likes that too.One reviewer said this handle was hollow and dangerous.Mine is not hollow, so perhaps it was changed (for the better!).One thing I don't like about this toy is that it doesn't have a very solid base; my son easily, and frequently tips it over. That doesn't seem to detract from his fun though. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Charger is not bad
First off, please read the entire listing for this charger. This is for two 6-volt batteries. Not one 12 volt battery.I don't know why people are giving it a bad review because they made the mistake of not reading the listing.

The charger hooks up very easily to the extremely large power wheels batteries, and it's very compact, so it wont take up much space. It would be nice if it had an LED indicator that let you know when the battery was charged, but it doesn't.So make sure to note the time when you put your batteries on it.

This is not anything special, it charges batteries. It's not like there is a huge variety of Power Wheels battery chargers out there, so this is about as good as it gets.Yes, it takes a long time (18 hours) to charge the batteries. That's a very bad thing, especially when you have a 4 year old who wants to ride in her jeep (which, by the way is nearly impossible to push when the batteries are disconnected.Trust me, I've tried.), But until we see an alternative (a rapid charger would be nice), this is it.

1-0 out of 5 stars wrong battery charger for powerwheels HD cruiser
I overnighted this and it was the wrong charger.Amazon should do a better job specifying.

1-0 out of 5 stars does not work with the 12 volt battery for power wheels
I ordered this charger because it was listed as an additional item for the fire rescue power wheels vehicle.Come to find out this charger is made for the older model batteries and I cannot use this for charging a 12 volt battery. So disappointed... ... Read more

Editorial Review

This replacement charger for the 6-volt batteries that runPower Wheels toys (the Barbie Splash Jeep, for one) is a standard2.25-by-2-by-1.5-inch black box that fits directly into a wall socket andhas a 6-foot cord. Recommendations for use of the charger: use for an18-hour charge before the first use, after each vehicle use, for 18hours before storing the vehicle, and after 30 days even if the vehicleis not used. Never use the charger for longer than 30 hours.--Richard Farr ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Wrong charger-how to tell
Ditto Denise's review. We, too, have a L'il Quad, single 6-volt.I was concerned this charger might not fit after reading the reviews but was unable to get anywhere with the Powerwheels website or customer service. So I ordered it-- no fit with or without the adapter. I went to their specified service dealer (25 miles away) and here's the deal:If your L'il Quad has a BLUE BATTERY this charger will NOT work. He's ordering me the right one.I don't know how else to get one.Annoying!

1-0 out of 5 stars Wrong battery
This battery charger is listed as an accessory under the Go-Kart.However, the connection does not fit the battery in the Go-Kart.I do not recommend.

5-0 out of 5 stars Beware - you may need a 12V System Battery Charger
The review by Amanda Richards prevented me from purchasing the wrong charger.I was about to place my order when I read it.I did need the 12V System Battery Charger which charges two 6V Rechargeable Batteries at the same time, not the Super 6V Battery Charger which only charges one battery at a time.

It is unfortunate that the site does not show all options for Battery Chargers for this product. This would allow the consumer to do their homework prior to placing their order and a happy consumer is typically a returning consumer.

Move cautiously before ordering.Thank you Amanda for your insight. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Finally a mobile that I'm happy with
This mobile has been wonderful, we purchased this mobile two months ago for our second daughter. We've had several mobiles which have broken or that I wasn't that happy with. After re-decorating my daughter's room I went in search of a new mobile and found this one (it wasn't even in the mobile section of the store), I liked that it had a remote and that the box indicated it played a variety of soothing music and nature sounds.Wow have we been pleased. So many of the mobiles are just too cutesy for me and all of them seem to play the same boring music. This mobile seems very durable (we've only had it two months) and the music is very calming. It rotates through about 5 different songs and incorporates birds chirping and other nature sounds while the mother bird, babies and butterflies spin around.I like that the birds change direction since that adds interest for the baby while they are falling asleep. We haven't needed to use the remote that often but it is a nice feature.I am very happy with the purchase and feel it was a good value for the money. ... Editorial Review

Kids will be educated and entertained playing this jack-in-the-box game with Elmo, Cookie Monster, Oscar and Ernie. The popular Sesame Street characters hide away in their vessels (a trash can, bathtub, cookie jar, and alphabet block) until they are freed by a tiny finger on a lever or button. They pop out with songs that match their popular personalities--Oscar lovely trash, Elmo's alphabet, Ernie's ducky and bubbles, and Cookie Monster's cookies, of course. The button and levers make interesting sounds as well. It's a good, repetitive lesson in cause-and-effect that's lots of fun for toddlers. Still, it's not much more than a jack-in-the box if grownups are looking for a toddler toy with more learning channels. Required: 3 AA batteries. --Diane Beall ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Good Cause and effect and motor skills toy
My daughter was behind in some of her skills. She played with this in therapy and loved it. I went to look for it. When we brought it home she has played with it every day since. The sound can be turned off. But I don't. It isn't loud and diturbing. Plus I like the songs it plays.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun, but disappointing.
This toy is fun, but sometimes big bird doesn't flash and play his song because my son doesn't push the button hard enough or move the cookie button far enough.I will admit the toy is fun, but it feels kind of cheeply made and again, the fact that the toy doesn't always play the music makes it less interesting to my son.

5-0 out of 5 stars UNEXPECTEDLY AWESOME TOY
I took my daughter and her friend, who are both three years old, to the toy store and to my total shock out of all the toys we looked at this was the one they wanted to sit down and play with! I purchased it for my one year old because I thought if she would still be loving it at three it would be worth the money for sure! Itteaches cause and effect, a great concept for them to learn at this age, and it helps with their manipulative skills too! I gave it 5 stars all the way around. Another awesome feature that I had no idea about until I got it home and out of the box is the fact that you can turn the music off if you want some peace and quiet and they can still enjoy the toy! I know the girls will be playing with this for a long time to come. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars TOO MANY PIECES
MY LITTLE GIRL GOT THE LOVING FAMILY DOLL HOUSE FOR CHRISTMAS, ALONG WITH ALL THE FURNITURE.SHE LOVES TO PLAY WITH IT BUT WE WENT OUT AND BOUGHT ALL THE FURNITURE TO GO WITH IT, THAT IS NOT NECESSARY! MOST OF THE FURNITUREWILL NOT GO IN THE DOLL HOUSE. IT IS JUST TO MUCH. DO NOT BUY THE DINNING ROOM TABLE IT COMES WITH ONE AND THE BABYS ROOM COMES WITH A CRADLE.LIKE I SAID MY LITTLE GIRL LOVES ALL THE STUFF BUT IT WILL NOT ALL FIT IN THE HOUSE, IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY

4-0 out of 5 stars Cute accessory for dollhouse
I think this is a very cute addition in the Loving Family dollhouse. The chair actually reclines (back goes back and footrest goes up). The floor lamp is really cute and we love the little dog. I love the fireplace too, makes for a cozy living room. I actually prefer this living room over the newer Deluxe Living room that interacts w/ the house. That one has a big TV that you can change the picture on once or twice. I've decided that's not what I want my daughter pretending....that the family sits and watches TV. She can watch TV in her own time, but while playing w/ this dollhouse I want her imagination souring :-)

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Must Have Set
When we purchased this set for our four-year-old daughter, we weren't sure if she'd like it.She absolutely loved it.It taught her that one should never go to bed without first putting out the fire, and she loves the dog that came with the set. She's happy that she can keep her "Loving Family" warm in front of their ownfire. ... Editorial Review

Designed to encourage early role play, this small, colorful amusement park is centered on a roller-coaster track that winds around a sharp curve. When the roller-coaster car hits the purple star that hangs from above, a monkey drops into a dunk tank. ("Ooh-ee-ah!") Sonya Lee can ride the freestanding, two-person rocket ship, while Smiley the Clown collects tickets or listens to music coming from the twirling teacups. This would be a fun, developmentally rich toy for preschoolers. Required, but not included, are three AA batteries. --Andy Boynton ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Kid Friendly, but not Adult Friendly
I got this as a gift for my 3 year old daughter. However, it was terribly difficult to put together.I was afraid I was going to break it.When I did put it together (sort of), the car kept on falling off the track when me or my daughter used it.She enjoys it immensely, but since older children are playing with it, I would think FP would have made it more durable.

5-0 out of 5 stars The most fun of all the Little Peple sets!
This is fun! My 4 yr old daughter loves it and my 9 mo old daughter loves to watch her play with it, especially when the car slides down the track. It makes adorable sounds. My daughter begs me to play little people with her all the time, I have to say, this keeps my attention a lot longer. This is something all 3 of us, me, 4 yr old and baby love playing with together. The only thing I wish is that it would fold up for storage. I hate how much space these things take! But this is a lot of fun and very durable.

5-0 out of 5 stars fun for both sexes
My little boy and girl both play with this toy.It was a big hit from day one! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Toy
My DD got Blue for Christmas...two weeks after she got it...Blue stopped working...come to find out it has an on/off switch. She had somehow turned it off. She loves singing and dancing with Blue. We just had to put more batteries in it today. So the toy goes for a while with the batteries that come with it.

4-0 out of 5 stars It's cute, and my son loves it
Blue dances, sings, and teaches your child the dance. It comes with the video "Blues Room"which is great if you happen to like the new version of Blues Clues.I personally cannot stand Blues Clues anymore and think it has lost most of it's educational value since Steve left and ESPECIALLY since Blue's Room was added.
Anyway, the dancling and singing blue itself is great, the batteries lasted surprisingly long and my son had a blast with it!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great
My 2 year old daughter got this for her birthday. All three of my children love it. The dance is very cute, the phrases are fun, and it keeps them entertained for as long as a 2 and 3 year old can be.
When blue won't sing anymore, check the batteries, that might help. The video is a plus. My two younger kids love the videos, any Blue's Clues videos. ... Read more
