4-0 out of 5 stars Quiets crying babies
If my son begins to cry in the car, he quits when this comes on.The handy remote is a life saver. The only draw back is the fact you must manually turn it on.Thankfully it plays cute music because it sticks with you!

5-0 out of 5 stars Baby loves this toy!
The Easter Bunny brought this toy for my 2 month old grandson and he loves it, in fact we all love it!We have used it with the car seat, stroller and his little vibrating chair and he is amused for quite a while. We can eat dinner in peace! We just put him next to the table with it on his lap and just keep hitting the remote. He talks (coos) to it and his eyes get so big at the lights. He is too little to really interact with it yet but it won't be long! Our neighbor recently bought one for their 6 month old and she loves it too! I highly recommend this toy!

1-0 out of 5 stars Not worth the money
This toy looked like a great idea although my child never really liked playing with it.The cover is not removable and can not be cleaned other than wiped down, which is not a good idea for babies.I would not recommend this purchase. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Cute Toy
My 2 year old son received this toy for Christmas, and although it is not the most educational toy on the planet, he seems to like it alot.It sings, and counts, and says the letters of the alphabet. The shapes features is a bunch of lighted dots trying to form squares and circles, and doesn't do a very good job.Overall, it is a very durable toy, and fun too.And it has TWO volume levels...even at the highest volume level it doesn't annoy anyone in my family.

3-0 out of 5 stars Skip Toby and go for Kasey.
Toby is cute but I wished I would have waited a year and just went for Kasey the Kinderbot.Toby is very basic in his teaching. My 2 year old didn't learn anything new from Toby except the 3 songs.Toby only teaches numbers 1-10.When the ABC button is pressed, Toby will say a letter and display it.If you don't keep pressing the button, he says 2 more letters and then will say "bye-bye".I wish when you pressed the button that Toby would go through the whole alphabet without having to keep pushing the button over and over again. It's like that with the numbers and shapes too.My toddler's Toby happened to break something inside the head.I can hear it rattle around inside.I'm not quite sure what happened to it.Toby still moves, but he doesn't have full motion in his head anymore- just partial.I just wish I would have waited a year and went for Kasey who has so much more to offer.

4-0 out of 5 stars My 20th month old likes this one.
When I first got this for my daughter (at about 13 months old) she was too young and it didn't keep her attention. But not at 20 months old, she loves it and loves especially to sing the alphabet song and view the shapes. This is a good one for the right age! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT POOH
**THIS IS THE SAME REVIEW AS THE TIGGER JUST DIFFERENT NAMES** Both of my 20 month old twin sons have one of the Baby's First Friend for a "lovey". My son Conner loves his Pooh! We dont have a pooh theme, and my sons dont really like pooh, but they love their loveys! I loved the little bear and its now lost in the bottom of the toy chest and that cute blanket is gone forever. Pooh is a great material like a baby blanket. He is "breathable" so I always felt confident putting Pooh in the crib with Conner. Conner loves to suck on his ears and bring him everywhere, he now calls him "OOH"(pooh without the "P"), too precious. We actually have 3 of these "OOH's" to make sure we always have one. We wash him in the machine constantly and he is also easily spot cleaned. My son brings "OHH" everywhere and loves to use him as a little pillow. Conner even refuses to sleep without his little buddy. This is just a perfect toy for any aged baby, toddler or child! "OOH" is very durable and has been thrown, stepped on, attacked with the stomach flu, bitten, pulled and everything else you could imagine a little boy doing. Its tough love for "OOH" and hes perfect for any child, whether or not they are Winne the Pooh Fanatics! ****MY son has also learned to love something other than family, and he has learned to be careful of where he leaves Pooh, I just love these toys and so does Conner**** ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Our Favorite Game!!
This is an absolutely great game not only for kids as young as 2 (there are small parts so children must be beyond putting things in their mouths)but also for the whole family.I purchased this game for my 2 year old for Christmas and he and my 6 year old son play this more often than any other game we have ever had. They can play together with little supervision, and even can play it individually if one doesn't care to play at the time.We also very often play one of the three variations (barnyard bingo, color bingo, or animal race -- instructions are included) together as a family for simple fun.Our 6 year old son is Autistic and an added benefit is the therapy benefits that have been mentioned, really helps him with his hand motor coordination and focus.
On top of all of that it is inexpensive, durable and is completely contained in its own little suitcase when not in use.

5-0 out of 5 stars Ditto
It seems this is well known amoung Therapist. My two-year old daughter was also introduced to this game through her speech therapist, and we just love it.A great value for the money, and a self-contained game with a little blue suitcase.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game!
My 4 year old has loved this game for the past year and a half or so.We have taken it everywhere and we now play a "speed" version of the game where we each take two game pieces. She loves this game so much after a dozen games I give up but she just loves it.This game is great for learning colors and animals.I also make her make the animal sounds which she thinks is just great.Good game Great price. ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Very disappointed
I purchased this for my 20 month old son, and he is not interested at all!In the Rock mode, the bottom does not curve very much so it really doesn't do much rocking. After about a month of him not playing with it, we moved up to the Ride mode.He played with it for about a day, but as soon as he saw me pushing him from behind with the parent's handle, he decided he wanted to do that.So now he hardly ever plays with it, and when he does, he pushes it around like a stroller.I guess soon I will just take the handle off, and see if he will ride it.However it seems to me that the handle is hard to turn side to side, so we might just have to go get a regular tricycle. We've only had it for a couple of months, so I hope as he gets older maybe he'll like it more.Overall, very disappointed and would never recommend this to anyone.

2-0 out of 5 stars Rock, Roll and Ride Delux
We bought the Fisher Price Rock, Roll and Ride Delux for my son shortly after his first birthday. He has only used the toy indoors in the rock mode, being that it was winter when we purchased it.We bought the Delux model because my son loves lights and sounds.Immediately when we bought it we noticed that the lights and sounds options did not function in the rock mode like they were intended to.The lights are supposed to go off when your child rocks it.I even got on it (I weigh 100 lbs) and rocked and couldnt get the lights to come on.There are little buttons in the steering column that seem to control lights and sound function that arent working properly. We are a bit disappointed seeing how we bought the delux version for the lights and sounds which dont function well.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great ride on for indoors and outdoors !!!
My son got this present for his first birthday and it is his favorite toy.He is able to ride it inside the house, or he just climbs on it and rocks and presses all the buttons. He also rides it outdoors. He absolutely loves this trike. He has been climbing on it by himself before he could even walk. This is a great toy!!! ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Sporty Dora is a Great Surprise
You can't go wrong with a Dora doll. And I love this sporty look.Dora still wears her signature pink and orange, but in a long-sleeved hooded sweatshirt and nylon sweatpants. Her legs and arms are soft fabric. The head and torso hard plastic. My 3-year-old daughter was so excited to find her very own Dora bracelet hidden inside Backpack.
Squeeze Dora's tummy to hear 3 phrases:
"Hola, I'm Dora."
"We did it!Lo Hicimos!"and
"Swiper, no swiping!"

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent for both parents and kids!
We purchased this Dora doll for our daughter and she loves it because it's Dora. We love it because the voice is softer than most talking toys (our daughter also received a dancing/talking version that is much louder and consequently more annoying). We also liked that there was a surprise in Dora's backpack (one of three items) that your child can play with ... and then put back!

This is a quality toy for your Dora-loving child that won't drive you bonkers with noise.

5-0 out of 5 stars Now we're talkin'!
We have 18 month old twin boys. One very active, the other a bit more laid back- but both love ALL the Blue's Clues versions of the show (the old and the new). After their recent 18 month check up, and finding out that by the time they turn 2 years old, they should be able to say at least 20 words, -this with a hint from the Dr. suggesting "speach therapy" if no progress by then! Hmmmm!

One twin says 2 words, the other 4 words.. so I thought this fun SOFT toy might help them along. (certainly couldn't hurt) The one that twin that says two words, is now seriously trying to communicate back each time Blue says something. The other loves to carry Blue around and likes to dance around with it with music from their favorite show.

This toy has very soft fur, is huggable, has floppy ears, arms and legs, and a cute little tail (small area of the upper chest is firm but does not interfere with their fun at all) It is great for them to carry about, and easy for them to learn to use. It measures from HEAD to HEAL about 10.5 inches and really looks alot like the NEW Talking Blues Clues dog and sounds just like her too.
And to hopefully help avoid possible speach therapy classes and for good measure (double the fun!), I also bought the New Talking Blues Clues Clip little stuffed plush (about 3 inches) that says 6 phrases that they seem to like as well, also found at Toys R Us.

5-0 out of 5 stars MY TWO YEAR OLD LOVES IT
My 2 year old hasn't shown much interest in the new blues Clues show where Blue talks but he loves the animated show.Still, this was among his favorite Christmas presents this year.He has a very strong vocabulary so far and Blue is helping him learn some new words and phrases.

It's a very fun toy that he can pick up and use on his own that doesn't require any set-up or assistance from mom & Dad.Well worth the money.Seems to be fairly durable so far.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great for the Blues Clues Fan
My 20 month old son loves this toy.He takes Blue with him everywhere. The only complaint I have is that I find the talking to be a little annoying, as they didn't record actual phrases, just individual words which they string together into different phrases, leaving it sounding choppy and unnatural. My son doesn't mind, however. I was a little concerned that the battery compartment might make it too hard for him to sleep with, but that has not been a problem at all. Overall, I would definitely recommend this toy if you have a Blues Clues fan at home! ... Read more

I Highly Reccommend it!!!!!! Great Job Fisher Price!

5-0 out of 5 stars Fisher Price Does It Again
For an absolutely wonderful way to expand your child's imagination, fisher price has the goods. ALL of their toys are well built and able to withstand even the most adventorous toddlers, my son adores this product. I bought it for my neice and she loves it as well. You can't go wrong with anything with the FP name.

3-0 out of 5 stars Disappointed ... not as good as most Little People toys

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't Waste Your Money
Fisher price really missed the mark on this one.My son picked this out at the store and was so excited to get home and have some bathtime fun, only to find out that this toy "is not intended for water use". Which was of course placed on the back of the box. Why would fisher price make a boat that your child cannot put in water? We went ahead and tried putting it in the tub, and it just filled up with water. What fun is a boat that won't float?Does fisher price really think it's fun to play with a boat on the carpet?

5-0 out of 5 stars excellent toy
I got this toy for my son a month ago and he loves it. The first day I bought it he played with it almost 2 hours. The only bummer is that you can't put the boat in the bath tub. It says not to on the back of the box. I let him try it once anyway and the decals started to peel. You can attach a rescue hero to the back of the boat and to the anchor. It doesn't make any sounds but it is still an excellent toy that my three year old really enjoys ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT RESCUE SET
MY KIDS LOVE IT, THERE FRIENDS LOVE IT AND THEY PLAY WITH IT EVERYDAY. GREAT FOR PRETEND PLAY. THEY PRETEND THEY ARE SAVING KITTENS FROM TREES ECT... THE GEOTRAX SETS ARE GREAT.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great addition to a great train set for tots!
My 3 year old son is into fire trucks, police cars, and ambulances not to mention trucks in general so this was a must have to add to the Christmas pile. This is a great accessory to his geotrax rapidly growing collection. He is able to connect track with minimal help and once set up he will sit and play for long periods of time on his own.Add on sets like this make it so it's not just a "train set" and he has incorporated using his little people sets to make a whole "city".His little sister even has fun with this one!

5-0 out of 5 stars It works!
The Rescue Station is a great addition to the Geotrax Train set.I am a little confused as to why previous reviewers have said that the train cannot run through the station.Perhaps they are missing something from their set?Works great for us.My son loves it. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A favorite!
My 10 month old has always loved this Giraffe. She likes to explore it, so it falling over is not a problem. She pokes her fingers in the large square holes on the sides, and like to push the button that plays the music. She also loves to grab the handle on top. Of course, she likes the blocks tumbling down too. Besides play a few musical notes, it doesn't do much, but she just loves it!

2-0 out of 5 stars Tumbling is right
I bought this Giraffe for my 8 month old who liked to take things out and was beginning to put things into containers.Well, the Giraffe falls down before he gets a chance to put the blocks into its mouth--someone has to sit next to him and hold the giraffe steady. However he loves playing with the blocks and throws them into a plain sand bucket.Skip the giraffe and just get the blocks.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not impressed
This toy is cute, but that's about it.I expected the blocks to actually "tumble" down the giraffe, perhaps in a zig-zag fashion. But they don't; they just "drop" straight to the bottom. There's a button at the bottom that plays a cute little tune when the block hits the bottom, but that's all this toy does. I guess I just expected more from it. We returned it. As a side note, we also got the Peek-a-Blocks Train and both my girls LOVE it! Costs a little more than the giraffe, but is worth it! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Im 15, and this rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the coolest toy ive ever played with in my entire 15 year old life!!!

3-0 out of 5 stars Too much for a 3 month old
My son was afraid of this toy at 3 months, it was too loud for him. I'd bring it out every so often to see if he was ready for it, but it always made him cry! Finally, at 8 months, he actually loves this toy.
One small problem is that he likes to put his hands on the wheels that spin/turn and it causes them to make a clicking noise and it stops them from spinning while they're moving and I dont know if that will cause it to break after a while.
I think it's just too loud with too much going on for a 3 month old.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great in the car
As an infant, my daughter hated car rides.I origially purchased this for her to play in her crib, but instead decided to hang it on the back of the seat of our car so when she was in her infant carrier she could "kick and play". It worked!!!! Car rides were not as miserable. She would kick and activate the music and balls and smile and giggle away. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A great set for kids who skate and skoot!
This is a great set of pads for young children who are learning to skate, or for children who already skate, skateboard, or ride skooters around the neighborhood.Buy a helmet and this set of pads, and your child is ready to go!(Truthfully, I'm not sure why you'd even want to have a child wear protective gear - other than a helmet, of course - when riding a bicycle, so I'd take the other reviewer's comments with a grain of salt.)

1-0 out of 5 stars Identify the Use of the Product Before Sale
I can't give this item even one star because it will never be used by my grandson.I was looking for a protective elbow and knee package for a 5 to 8 year old bicycle rider. No 8 year old bicycle rider should use this pack according to the information printed on the package. Fisher-Price Protective Elbow and Knee Pack information before sale never tells you that it is intended for skates and skaters until you have the package in your hand. The package tells you it's for 2 years and up.The promotional material online tells you it's for 5 to 8 year olds.It is not suitable for bike riding (the package says this). The package says Wrist Guards designed specifically for use while skating. The promotion online material did not say it was restricted to skating.

I did a lot of research and thought I had the right product.I don't have nor do I expect to unless someone cares enough to identify the product for specific uses. What a waste of my time and effort. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Buy Playmobil Instead
My four year old picked this toy out with a gift certificate given to him by his grandmother. He already had pirate sets made by Playmobil, but this looked like an interesting addition to the sets.Well, set up took nearly an hour for his very mechanically able father, and almost as soon as he began to play with it, pieces fell apart.NOTE:he is NOT a careless child, nor is he rough with toys. But this toy doesn't stand up to even the most basic four year old play.

After he had had it up without playing with it for six months, we finally just boxed it.We found all the parts and sold it for five dollars at a garage sale.I just hope those people don't come back to reclaim their money.Save yourself the pain and frustration and buy Playmobil's Pirate Lagoon -- this is just a cheap knockoff.

5-0 out of 5 stars LOVE THE FUN & ADVENTURE!!
I bought this toy for my son a year ago, when he turned 4.He LOVES it!Especially since Pirates of the Carribean came out.He spends hours playing with the Island and the Battle Castle, which we also have and love.

There were a few complaints by previous buyers as to the amount of pieces and the fact that it falls apart. There are a lot of small pieces that are accessories that we put in a little "treasure box" that we bought from Walmart. (Just a $3 box with a little buckle lock.)Our son stores the small pieces in there and he hasn't lost any small pieces in a year. When he wants to fully accesorize his island, he pulls them out and sets them up. (But he is a pretty organized kid.)We love the accessories because it adds so much to the adventure.

The island is pretty compact if you follow the instructions and use the little 3 prong footers. If you don't, it will fall apart fairly easily. Our son can pick the entire island up and carry it to another room without it falling apart.

NOTE:If your child trashes things a lot or likes to hit, bang and smash their toys, then this is probably NOT the toy for them. But if they take care of their toys and have a vivid imagination, this IS the toy for them.

All in all, we LOVE this toy and would definitely purchase it again! He got the Battle Castle the same year (as stated earlier) and we just got the Glow in the Dark Pirate Ship which he LOVES!We're going to get the Pirate Raider and Glow in the Dark Shark & Skeleton next.

5-0 out of 5 stars ANOTHER GREAT PIRATE PLAYSET
Both as a father and as a toy collector I really love the Imaginext toys from Fisher Price, especially the playsets.I find them extremely well-made and detailed nad easy for kids to use. Most of all they are very fun and give kids a real sense of wonder and adventure that is lacking in so many toys today.

The Buccaneer Bay playset is another in Fisher price's line of Pirate themed Imaginext toys. This can be used seperately or in conjunction with other sets or figures to have one giant pirate world! This one is the secret hideout of a band of cutthroat pirates. There is a hidden compartment on the beach's lagoon that opens up to hide the pirate's treasure. The pirates have a large cannon ready to defend their loot.

The Island itself can be assembled in several ways since the trees and bushes are inter-changeable so you have some variety for building.Comes with two pirates and a boat as well. Some pieces do fall off but I have not had as much trouble as other reviewers seem to have had.i think it really depends on how rough your child is with the set.Fun toy! ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Boring as a set
My 18 month old son will take a couple of the individual pieces and walks around holding them and making the animal sound but is not interested in playing with it as a set.For his 1 year birthday, he got almost the complete set of Little People's and just never was interested in any of them.

I will say that it is extremely durable because he uses the larger pieces to try and climb things now (as stepstools).I was disappointed by his lack of response because I thought the toys were interesting.

5-0 out of 5 stars We Love Little People
This was the first Little People toy my daughter had ever had, we got it as a 1st birthday gift. She's almost 2 now and this past year I think she has played with it or a part of it at least 5 days a week. She loves the horse and cow, enjoys giving them drinks from the water pump! The video which at first I didn't think was that exciting, has really grown on me. The music is catchy which may or may not drive you crazy depending on how many times your child will view a video. My daughter asks for the Little People video all the time, so I've seen it over and over again. What more can I say, except WE LOVE LITTLE PEOPLE!

4-0 out of 5 stars MY SON LOVED THEM!
My son loved his skates, and I have not had any problems so far with the straps.

1-0 out of 5 stars Roller Blades are terrible!!!
I didn't reseach these before I bought them, BIG MISTAKE.My 3yr. old son couldn't go two feet without the straps popping open.Don't waste your money.

1-0 out of 5 stars A toy not a learning tool

5-0 out of 5 stars very cute
I bought this toy for my six week old baby. She's too little to really care about toys, but she loves to look at the colorful blinking lights and seems to enjoy the music. She lays on her tummy and spends good 10-15 minutes being entertained with this toy. I think that it's quite a miracle that anything can hold her attention that long. Pretty soon, she'll start enjoying the mirror too. I like that this toy uses normal batteries, as I found out that lots of toys use of this type use non-replacable batteries. ... Read more
