venom striker
overall from some views of my own I would say this is probebly one of the cobras best quad out onthe market..HOWEVER (dont boo me yet) there are a few things im dissapointed in.. this one doesnt hold most cobras as well as the old ones did. also this one doesnt have shocks like the old skool blue cobra quad. (come on, you loved the shocks on it!) the tires on the old skool blue one were tough rubber as well, mine are kinda stretched or cracked if yo would say. but in honor of growing up with G.I.Joe, I say this toy is deffinitly worth the money..

Stock up on Venom Strikers
The new Cobra Venom Striker is probably the coolest deluxe vehicle to date. It takes the majority of the poorly designed and shelf-warming Assault Quad and turns it into a cool little vehicle that's a must buy!

Ever since the Ferret, the ATV has been a longstanding staple in the Cobra motor pool. While this vehicle lacks a few of the functions that made the Ferret what it is, it nonetheless makes a great replacement or compliment to a squad of Ferrets.

The Claws figure's pretty cool and was actually what spurred my like of the Claws figure. Unlike the oversized Venom Cycle, the Venom Striker holds a driver perfectly.

Direction Too Dark
Like all of the GI Joe and Tonka Lego-compatible sets, there are plenty of special pieces not found in other sets.The directions are pretty clear, but do not use the Lego/Mega Blok standard of highlighting the new pieces (this may cause a problem at step 3 and others).The set also includes a fully posable figure (knees, elbows, ankles, wrists, hips, shoulders, and neck).

This is a smaller model and a pretty nice design.There are also instructions to build a snowmobile (unfortunately if you want both vehicles at the same time you will need to buy two sets).

This also includes a missile launcher that throws missiles at the push of a button so it may be inappropriate for some children.

While there are scores of characters that make up the sprawling rosters of the GI Joe and COBRA forces, this three figure set of Snake Eyes, Duke, and COBRA Commander delivers some of the more interesting and pivotal characters. Snake Eyes, though he certainly doesn't look like the archetypal "good guy", is a top-flight ninja employed by the Joe team. We are told that he's so stealthy that he "can sneak up on someone at high noon on a gravel road". Bang bang
Defense Mech - Fun toy is a step above the last wave of small vechicles, kinda reminds me of the old exo-squad toys.my 11 year old had tons of fun stomping threw his cobra troopers with it.
Leatherneck - good figure over all only prob with him was his sunglass's where lost in the first 5 min.

Ninja team a winner!
Depending on who you talk to, there are some bad points to this set but for the most part, its an A+ The one thing many Joe (or Cobra for that matter) fanatics will tell you is the Vypra twins shouldn't be twins as Vypra was her own character. Well if your like that as well, just use them as female ninjas or change their names. The good parts about this is well, all ninjas and not having the mixed reactions that the ninja force did and a decade ago. The key point to this is that 3 of the figures (red ninjas and black ninja) is the same mold as the original storm shadow which pleases all collectors. The other sore spot is though instead of using the same mold and having storm shadow white or even using the same mold, they have in cool forest colors, but using the same mold thats been used for him about a million times. Good accessories with this lot and depending on who you are, some good, some bad but a definate set to get!

AWSOME G.I.JOE CREATION
This box is awsome! It comes with alot of acesories. The bad thing is sometimes when the box flips over and you have your things inside,they might get mixed up with other things. But who cares,it has alot of room for things and comes with some acesories.

Good Buy
This is a fairly good item that every serious GI Joe collector should have.One such locker can hold 2, 12" figures and a ton of different accessories.

Thanks to this little box I don't have a single lost or broken piece and my figures look brand new!

The accessories accompanying the item are very realistic and look just like the real weapons and equipment.Very educational and true to the military.

The only defect I had was a loose barrel on my M16A2, - rather than that it's a good deal and a great addition to any GI Joe collection.

A decent set to get
A nice 2 pack to get which is usually only seen on the internet every once in a while. Snake eyes looks top notch in black and his almost original figure outfit (minus roadblocks waist which still works on with him). His weapons include a submachine gun, a sword, backpack, and either binoculars or an explosive pouch (heard different people with different ideas on what it is). Scarlett has her original outfit with just a slight change in the shade of colors. Her weapons include a crossbow, 2 swords, and a backpack. One thing you will notice that unlike most figures now, she only looks left and right, not up and down as well. If you look closely you can see her color makes it that way. Cool toy for a 7 year old boy
If you are a die hard G.I. Joe fan, the previous review is for you.My son got this guy for x-mas and loved it.He always wanted one and this is the first one he's ever had.So, to him it was totally cool.He does talk kind of funny and you have to press the button on his stomach repeatedly to look like he's really talking, but that's just small potatoes if you are a kid experiencing his first G.I. Joe guy.

My son loved all the gear and was fascinated buy the real-looking clothes for just a toy.It is one of his favorite toys.

So, a little kid would love it, I am sure.Hope this helps.

See it in the store, don't touch it. Don't buy it. Don't even consider it. Hey, I'm a HUGE fan of G.I. Joe, let alone the Valor vs. Venom series, but this thing is the pits! His mouth stays open, he talks to slow, and he looks like Micheal off of Everybody Loves Raymond when he "yells"! I don't have this toy, but I've tested it out at Wal-Mart a few times, and by his freakish little helmetty piece of crud, his red mouth, and his tendancy to talk slowly, I said, No way, Jose! This is how he talks...

Follow me? Now, if you buy this, there is a bright side to it. If you press his stomach numerously, moving his mouth like he's actually saying something and try to move his mouth like he's saying the words, he talks a little faster, and looks kind of real. I gave this toy a one star educational value because it teaches children to....accesorize?????? :-) I gave this toy a five star durability rating because all of the GI Joe products I own are highly durable and I'm sure they wouldn't stop here with this thing. The toy would probably be kinda fun if you do the talking technique I said and buy some 12 inch Joes and Cobras. Overall, it would probably be well, 3 stars if you don't use my talking technique. If you do use my technique, it would be kicked up to about 4 stars overall. The G.I. Joe products I do own are (in order of purchase):

Cobra urban strike!
I enjoy being able to buy the toy molds from 10-20 years ago.I am not an 'army builder' collector.Even though this Urban strike team is not very cost-effective for buying tons of the same figure, it is still a pretty good set overall.

The high-lights of the set for me are the recolored NULLIFIER (flak-viper) and Night creeper.The set figures match so that they seem to be a team on a mission, however, they are different enough where they are solid as individual figures.

I have put the nullifier (flak viper) in with my viper squads, the night creepers and firefly have their own agenda.

Overall, I'm sure everyone would have done this set many different ways.For me, it's good!

Urban Strike Team and mixed reactions
The Cobra Urban Strike Team is one of those sets you either like or dislike. I remember the Python patrol having mixed reactions, though our last cobra set of the infantry was a huge success. Lets start with what everyone calls, the problem child of the set. Storm Shadow seems to be the most unluckiest guy in the world. His first figure I feel was the best though yellowed after a while. then we get this mold of him thats in this set that just kinda doesn't work. the colors are great and all, but his mobility is lousy, also no screw in back so band holding him together breaks, bye bye storm shadow. The Alley Viper looks awesome in black and has a great night look so get many of these guys. Same holds true for the night creeper as well as nullifier in his blue with black colors. Everyone says they are sick of the Firefly mold, but here, the paint scheme is Firefly and finally besides the first one, we have a decent looking Firefly. Now all of the weapons seemed pretty good with the set, except Scrap Irons. Heres a guy that looks great, hasn't seen the light of day in 20 years, yet comes with a very large green backpack, the gun that comes with the electric eels, and hoping that his other gun packs quite a punch since hes an anti tank specialist. All in all this is a great set and I can see me getting a few just for the army builder potential.

Boombatty's guide to GI Joes - Urban Strike Team
For the casual fan and the collector alike this set has some great highlights.

If you are a troop builder, the recolored v.1 Nightcreeper shines in darker update, improved over its predecessor and better than the new sculpt versions. The Nullifier, an update of the horribly colored Flak Viper is the best redeco of the pack.The Alley Viper paint apps are impressive and fit nice with the mold although as you will see later in this review with Firefly, the mold has been overly used as of late and needs to be put away for at least 5 years.

As for the other 3, well it's a mixed bag.The Firefly redeco is sharp although the 7th version of this mold to date and needs to be retired.The Scrap Iron redo is a combo of a few new parts (arms & legs) combined with a similar paint scheme to the original, a mold we haven't seen in 20 years.The low point in the set is the Storm Shadow repaint.The mold, based on the "Action Attack" original has limited articulation and no screw in the back to replace the rubber band that holds it together once it gives (and it will over time).Hasbro has been on a Storm Shadow bender as of late and with the upcoming Arashicage Ninja clan set we will have 5, yes 5 repaints of the first 3 Storm Shadow molds.A bit much.After this year I hope the molds, all three, find their way to the back of the shelf for a decade or so.

All in all a pretty cool set worth the $20, I myself have bought multiples already. Here's hoping that Hasbro continues the 6 pack rollouts. ... Read more

I just bought this yesterday.......
I'm a huge GIJOE fan right off the bat........been a Gijoe
fan since I was about 10 years old. It was always my favorite cartoon to watch and in my opinion sported the best creative story lines and characters of any cartoon of the decade.....
But this Vamp 3 with twin battle gun is pretty cool in my opinion and I'm glad Hasbro still comes out with good 3 3/4 inch figures like these ones.....the back of the package is really odd because it shows figures that aren't what it actually comes with <notice when you buy it> it shows tripwire,
a different version of pathfinder, and someone else.......
But it's not like that matters a whole lot though. anyways I want to sometime set this up next to the command headquarters that i have <from 83> and set up all my figures with it......
I'm 22 and I still buy gijoes......I bought all the 6 packs that hasbro makes the days they came out. I don't really know which of the 6 packs I like most but it's probably the Anti-venom task force or Urban strike team. I also have the tiger force pack with big brawler in it....

Good set!
I collect GIJOE 3.75 inch action figures of the (arah) 1980's and 1990's figure mold style.It's not that I don't like the new(er) GIJOE 3.75 inch figure molds, it's that they just don't mix well with the old in my opinion.That being said, on with some VAMP set info:

I enjoy being able to buy toys that are essentially from 20 years ago, but are essentially better, because they are new!

The original VAMP is gone, but I find this new dark green VAMP to be good, regardless.It's small two seat multi-purpose vehicle, and this new VAMP fills that role.

Pulling the Twin battle gun is the role on this mission (and is my favorite piece out of the set).I've never seen one in person before, and it is just one awesome butt-kicking looking gun.And it matches the VAMP.Very cool.

The figures are nice, too, and really make the $19.99 price right on the mark.Chief Torpedo is my favorite.Now there is finally a land version of this navy seal character that uses the old style (arah) mold body.
Pathfinder is welcomed by me since all of his original equipment is included!Bonus!
And big brawler is here, too.But there is nothing I would like to share with you about this character, even though the toy figure itself is really rather solid.

Overall, a good value for $19.99, essentially a vehicle, a transportable battle station, and THREE figures and accessories.Not too shabby.
