Great Toy/Project
I am very happy with this lamp. I bought it for my 7 year old cousin as a gift and she fell in love with it. The lamp came with the paints for her to design however she wanted to. It is a great way for kids to open their minds and be creative. The one thing I would suggest is that it came in a variety of colors. It seems too much like a project for little girls only. Otherwise, it's a great product.

Awsome Lamp Painting
I think that the Groovy Ceramic Lamp is a good way to learn hand cordination because you have to be able to control the way you paint.Also it is a fun experiance that lasts.After you are done painting the lamp you can either give it to a loved one or keep for a reading lamp or whatever.So I promotethe Groovy Ceramic Lamp to a kid with a very artsy mind and imagination.

Disappointing
I read all the reviews and was excited to purchase this kit for my eight year old.

However, the lamp was TINY, only big enough for a night light really.The fringe was difficult to get to stay on.And the lamp base was so fragile that when it was accidentally tipped on my daughter's desk it shattered, only a week after we purchased it. ... Read more

Dreamtastic Princess Lucinda
Groovy girls are the perfect size, and soft too. My little sister, who is six years old, has this doll. She's a dreamtastic doll. She even might have a magic wand but I kind of forget. She has the grooviest dress. I review all groovy girl dolls!

Super Speedster
How about plan a vacation for your groovy girl/boy? It dosen't only fit groovy girls, but dolls the same size or smaller. It fits barbies, Only hearts club, ect. My six-year-old sister has it. It's so much fun!

A toy for kids
So I don't really like the whole Groovy Girl thing.All the accessories seem overpriced to me.As a result I've held out from buying the accessories for my daughter (age 5).Last Christmas, this was the first thing she purchased with her "grandma money."Truly she has loved it.She puts the dolls in and chugs them around to picnics and other imaginary events.Though it is still a pricey toy, I would now highly recommend it for the sheer joy it gave my child. ... mislead about the empty box
This groovy girls wardrobe ad was very misleading.I thought there was a doll and clothing inside. When my grandaughter opened her gift, it was a major disappoinment and very embarrassing.If you look at the ad for the wardrobe, where it tells you to click on the picture, there is a doll and clothing pictured.

Adorable and funwardrobe for all the groovy girls clothes
The entire groovy girls line is one of those great toy lines that's fun for the child as well as the mommy. My 2 year old loves this toy. It's great for storing all her groovy girls clothing and it's also convient for traveling. My daughter loves looking at herself in the full legnth mirror and loves taking all the clothes off the hangers. Surprisingly, this toy does have educational value. As my daughter takes the clothes off the hangers I teach the name of piece of clothing ie top, pants, coat, ect. I've taught her to put the clothes back on the hangers and into the draws, promoting finger dexterity. It's also helped her learn colors because everything is brightly colored and very appealing for a 2 year old to look at. I do not however, allow her to play with this toy unsupervised. My daughter gets sodissappointed when it's time to put this away. Although it's only laminated cardboard it's held up very well and still looks new. We just ordered the older style so she could have 2 wardrobes. So obviously, I would reccomend this toy to anyone who has a daughter 2 and older.

Super Cool for Groovy Girls ~
