Why should an old-fashioned notion like gravity slow down a perfectly good race track? In this clever and thoroughly entertaining set from Hot Wheels, the one included big wheeled vehicle can move nicely around the track but also climb a vertical wall and then drive upside down in a loop. Not much secret hocus-pocus here, it's all done through magnets. For an added challenge, try to time the vertical climb just right so the car connects with the loop. The upside down factor at play here is awfully neat but it still doesn't change the fact that the set is fairly limited in terms of variety. Once you get it together you can't stop playing with it!
Our little boy got this from his uncle on his fourth birthday.I never dreamed how long it would actually be to put it together, it took my husband and hour to get it assembled, but once he got it together the fun started!
The track has stayed together exceptionally well even when we've moved it around the room a couple of times.The cars are really neat, they go upside down and it reminds me of a roller coaster track.The car that comes with it will go up anything that is made of metal.We have enjoyed this set and I would reccomend it highly to anyone thinking of buying it for their child.Just keep in mind you'll need a good hour of putting it together, but if its put together right it will stay together really, really well.I read reviews on this set and thats why we had not purchased it for our son, but when he got it as a birthday gift and was so excited about it, we decided to keep it and see how it worked- so glad we did- it is a great car set!

NOT RECOMMENDED!
My son got this for Christmas, and i am sad to say that I STILL have not figured out how to put this thing together!!!The pieces pop back out when I try to assemble them, it is NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!

Doesn't Work As Advertised
My son got this as a Christmas present and is very frustrated because the cars will not stay on the track and flip around like it is supposed to.As others have said, it's just too flimsy and maybe if you hold the track together, you might get it to work.The magnetic cars are fun, but you can buy those seperately. ... Get it for the clamp alone
The reviewers are right who say that the loop is too unstable and the track is poorly designed.I bought this track just to get the clamp, and then bought some extra track pieces at Toys 'R Us for $1 each.The clamp lets your child be creative by mounting the clamp on different objects, from different heights, and at different angles to see what the car will (and won't) clear.I don't like the powered Hotwheels tracks because I think they stifle imagination, you put the car in and then just watch them go around and around.The clamp on this track has creative appeal from my perspective and is worth the money spent just for the track parts and the car.

Terrible disappointment
My 7 year old son got this for Christmas and was so excited to try it out.Assembling it was easy, but the car rarely makes it around the whole track.It loses momentum around the bend and can't even make it to the jump.We returned it and bought the Rev Ups Skyway instead.Much more fun!!!

This toy is a lot of fun
My 3 1/2 year old son loves this toy.The head does fall off occasionally but it is easy to put back on.This is more than compensated for by the fun we have trying to get the cars through Croc Crunch's belly. For the price, this toy is not as bad as other reviewers have said.

Don't Bother
The crocs head keeps falling off and the car doesn't stay on the track. Save your money.

Not much fun
The croc's head does fall off and the car kept hitting the head when it would stay on anyway so the car never completed the track.We finally took the head off and just played with the track.My son doesn't play with the track very much either.Not very pleased with this purchase. ... Read more

WHAT A FAKE OUT
This toy is fun but it is very misleading.It does not run off of the fuel that kids make.It runs on batteries.Mixing the mess is fun and on some level it probably has some "keep the kid busy, keep the kid occupied" value.On a math/science level, it helps with measuring and addition skills.Other than that,it is not really worth the cost. My son simply enjoys watching the car go.
