Lots of fun, but way too delicate
I bought this present for a seven year old nephew at Christmas.Most boys enjoy utter chaos & destruction, and though this little boy happens to be an expert on the Impressionist era of art, he still likes rough & tumble stuff too.He instantly loved this gift, took it out of the box and began playing with it.

He had an hour of complete happiness & enjoyment with this toy, but then one crash into a wall was a little too hard and two of the plastic pieces shattered.I was a little disappointed to say the least.I figured anything that it meant to be smashed into hard immovable objects should be very durable, right?Obviously, I was wrong with this one.Well, I suppose it was fun while it lasted, but I wouldn't recommend anyone else buying it.

KABOOOOOOM!
It explodes really good but it's hard to put back together. But it's really fun when the guy flies out of it. I have Crash and when he flyies out he falls into pieces, but he is easy to put back together, but not the car.

FUN TOY

teaches a lesson
This is a good toy. It can crash and be put back together again. u put in the crash dummy figures and crash it and the dummy goes through the windshield. and falls to pieces!!. it has little seatbelts to show how seatbelts really save lifes. this came from the tyco in the early 90s. these hotwheel versions arent as fun as the original, but there still a blast!. the car crashes very awkaward (the whole front folds under) thats the only complaint. remember dont be a dummy buckle your safety belt! ... My son love this toy.
4 1/2. His cousin and him played with it for about 5 hours this week end. You can do many things with it. Set car flying in the air.Really nice.

Buy this instead of the basic Hot Wheels Starter Set!
The main criticisms I saw from reviews on the basic Hot Wheels Starter Set were difficulty in finding other cars that would work with that set (only comes with 1 car), and lack of flexibility because of no additional track.For an extra $10, this expanded kit solves those concerns well -- all 10 cars have worked well, and there are enough extra pieces to keep things interesting.It's rated for kids 5+ years old, but based on reviews for the basic Hot Wheels Starter set I went ahead and bought it for our 3-year old son and he loves it.So far, the cars and track seem durable, and he can have fun with it on his own.A good buy. ... warning warning when this toy crashes it stays crashed
i got this toy at a christmas party and the 4th or 5th time i crashed it it broke and that is ridiculous do not buy this toy it is a waste of money

crash dummies are cool
Finally hot wheels has got a well made product out.We boughtthis for our 5 yrld son.He wanted a car, but at the time they were not available.So we settled for this.We like it. Hot Wheels Soft Lunch Kit
My 3-yr old son just started preschool.He happpens to love all car toys.I found this lunch bag to be perfect for him.It's durable and lightweight so he can easily carry it around and I won't have to worry about it being worn out fast.He was scared for the first few days of school but as soon as the lunch bag arrived (we get mails anywhere between 1-2 wks.), he was all excited to go to school to start using it! ... Too many small spaces.Flimsy flap inside wore out very quickly and caused much frustration.Two of the $7.95 models would be much better!

hot wheels road set : a good review!!
I bought this set and a few others 2 years ago for my 3 and 5 year old sons. they absolutely love it. You don't have to set the thing up exactly like the picture shows it can go different ways.The only "problem" we had is that the high rise part where the cars launch off and one flies off( because its made to)is that the support stand needs to be farther to the outside.In reading other parents reviews and knowing about the toy myself, because I own it, my experience totally differs. I believe this toys has great educational value because my sons now 5 and 7 still play with it and put it together many different ways.As a parent as with anything you give your children you need to teach responsibility and respect,show your kids how to gently take it apart and put together so the tabs that snap the road together don't break if bent. I think some people give a bad review to toys because they break when the child does not take care of them!!I am buying this set again this year!

good idea bad product
For our sons 3rd Christmas, we invested a LOT OF MONEY on wheels toys.It looked so cool on the box.What a great idea to build a whole city.The tracks connected (so we thought).This was one of the tracks he got that year.When we opened the box's on Christmas morning we were completely devastated. Here's my son so excited, and this was NOT the coolest thing.This track takes up a lot of room, it was missing pieces when we put it together, it does NOT work the way it is supposed to, and it falls apart easily.The age on this says 3 and up.Well this crap toy is frustrating for an adult.2 years later he got this same track again for Christmas from a family member.DO NOT BUY THIS.

Bring Back The Classic Hot Wheels Track
This toy was given to us by our son's grandparents. What a piece of junk. It doesn't work properly and it constantly falls apart. I finally had to hot-glue the darn thing together.

Place Launcher On HARD SURFACE!!!
It was hit & miss, more often miss on the berber carpet! I wuz non-plussed!
I then read the previous reviews!
Once I put a hardback book under the launcher, it works fine!
They really oughta include that tip w/set-up instructions!

One of the better Hot Wheels Toys
We have them all!!My son loves Hot Wheels and we have tried them all.Most of the time, we are highly disappointed in the quality and how quickly things fall apart, but we have been pleasantly surprised by this one.It stays together, is easy to put away and put back together.We give this one an "A."

Not Bad!!!
At first we were bummed that when the red button was pushed, nothing would happen!!! Then after messing around with it for a while we noticed the button on the bottom had to be on a hard service to activate launch (we also used cardboard while playing on the carpet) Once that was figured out my boys ages 7 & 2 had a blast!!!! ENZO not Luro Ferrari
The idiots at Amazon.com don't know how to spell. It's the Enzo Ferrari, not the Luro. I am the founder of the Ferrari. If any of you morons out there think, you'd know that my name happens to be, on a random stroke of luck, ENZO!!! Just to let you know I'm writing this review from the dead car founder's section of the great beyond. It's great, you know, hanging out with all these other famous car manufacturers that don't even speak my language. This is a great model for all of you intelligent, dirt poor people who don't own a real one.

This FERRARI Model is designed to copy the newly released sports car. Its yellow paint catches people's interest easy enough, and this color is now very rare. Read the recomended age!!
I bought this toy for my almost 13yr son.I bought it because the price and because its look fun.Not just my son had made 3 cars in the few ours that he got it at Christmas day, but also his auncle can't stop using it.It's a great toy... Something for boys to create other than candies.

So I Might Have Wanted To Buy This
I planned on buying this set for my 3-year-old brother. Yes, I'm a kid. I read some of the other reviews and for the FIRST time, I believed them. My brother has a THING for the Hot Wheels sets. He has about over 80 now!

Now to do the "express myselfing"

1. I horribly dislike this. I stopped liking in 10 SECONDS!

2. I don't want to buy this for my brothers, 'cause I don't want them to be disappointed. They're little kids. One is 6 and one is 3 years old.

This is a great and amusing toy for any child....
I strongly recommend this product for any child.I bought this for my nephew when he was 3 years old and he has loved it since he got it!!!It is a little cheaply made, but it is amazing what will keep him busy.It is very hard for me to find refill kits for this item, but he loves it and I love it just as much!!!

looks good but doesn't perform
i bought this for my 5 year old nephew and he was very excited.it was fairly easy to put together, though some joints were troublesome.the real problem was that the cars don't stay on the track.every turn, which is about every 5 seconds, is a disaster.either you slow the car almost to a stop or it just flies off.and this was me operating it, not the child, but we were both disappointed.

Fun, but not worth 20 bucks.
It is hard for me to get money.I mean REALLY HARD.I am a 10 year old boy (I may sound like a 18) who purchased this 3 days ago.The main reason this is 20 bucks is becasue it is electronic.If they dropped 4 bucks off of it and stopped the noise I would give it 4 stars.The other reason is, it gets kind of boring, and aggrivating because you have to put it back together every 5 seconds.I spent 6 moneths of money on this. I am forcing myslef to like it. I recomend this if you have more than 1 dummy.

Great toy.
Im a Crash Dummie raised kid, it was my favorite toy from 1992, i waited 12 years for this toy to come back, and now it has. Im 17, the first thing i did was buy this car and the blue skateboarder. Very fun, i liked the original dummie style more, but i hope they develope them more, and get more figres for the market. Also i was suprised to see no names on the Dummies, they are on the box, but not the dummy. It was always cool having Slick and Spin.
