This microcosm of Neopets is a portable world for your pocket. Meridell, the land of heroes and legends that was long hidden within Neopia has now been uncovered and is delightfully rendered here in miniature. The pocket Neopet world folds up into a small gold colored pod that you can take anywhere. Open up the case and you can play with your three Neopets: Lupe, Draik, and Lxi. Name them, choose their personalities and preferences, and then proceed to play with, feed, and generally care for them. The sensors in the electronic ports they sit in know which pet you're playing with. There are six games you can play on the small LCD screen with four toggle buttons--they aren't the most engaging games, but winning them scores you points you'll need to buy food and toys for your pet. If you don't give your pet everything it needs, it will run away. Of course, you can always reprogram it to come back to you. Mystery Island neopets
This review is supposed to be for Meridell:pocket neopet, but I have a Mystery Island pocket neopet. I like it a lot becuase I love kougras and Mystery island. I think you should buy this toy because it teaches kids responsibility. And it has four of the best neopets games. one of the four is a slots game. Anyway, I think that all of them would be a great toy.

I love this toy! It's sooooo cool!
I have a Aisha and the kacheek, my Aisha is already 4 days old! and while playing in the Lost Desert, it found 2,000 NP on the ground! I now have at least 20,000 NP of hard work, I feed mine two times a day, and gave it a petpet, but somehow the petpet was gone the last time I checked :(, but at least my pet hasn't died! I love this toy, if you have a pet and love it and like to spoil it, but can't take it everywhere with you, get a pocket neopet! I'm in Middle school, I'm an 8th grader and I take my pet to school everyday, I'm 14 years old and have been playing neopets for about 2 years (almost) if other people say when you leave it on when you sleep and it runs away, that's so not true, I leave mine on all night and it turns off by itself but the clock keeps going, I my pet, it's one of the best pocket pet I could ever ask for! I love this pet, neopets rocks! [...] I stongly recommend this toy, it'll be fun! I'm working on keeping my pet alive for 365 days (1 year)! It's a great toy! I got it for my 13th B-day... i know the graphics are not soo good but what could you expect for 20$? It has 6 great games including Turmac Roll, Kiss the mortog, Ultimate Bullsye, Turtle Racing and a new game Negg drop! As you rule each level you get more NP's and a trophy! It's perfect for loooong trips!!! Comes with 3 neopets, a bank account, 3 shops (including petpet shop) also i hear people are saying that its hard to get np but if try hard you will manage to get enought np's to buy things and make your neopets happy so they dont run away (happened to me only 2 times). ... It seems like in recent years every toy phenomenon, especially those originating in Japan, has a card game component to go along with it. But while Neopets does continue that trend, at least the characters featured on the cards are a good sight cuter and more pleasant than many of the scowling bad guys found in other popular toy lines. This starter set features two 30-card starter decks along with two special foil cards, a rule book, a play mat, dice, and an 8-card booster pack. Neopets tcg starter pack
Great game. If you're a neopets player, you should definetly buy this. Remember to follow the instructions and play by the game mat rules first. It's very fun and educational and everybody will enjoy it. Also, for neopets players, it includes a rare item code which can be redeemed on neopets. I say go out and buy this product!

not to educational its violent
it is a battling game my kid try to fight but i get them in trouble so im not going to let them buy the cards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not a very fun
I read all of the reviews saying "what a great toy!" and stuff like that, so I decided to go out and buy a pack. I got to toys R us and found I had enough money to buy 2 packages!($20) So I went ahead and did. When I got to the front, I found out they were on sale for only a dollar each!!! So I went back and picked up 6 more packages for a total of 8 sets! And had more than 10 dollars left to spend! When I got home, I quickly opened all of the packages only to find I had the same cards in all of the packages and found that they all had the same cards, exept for the bonus packs of 8 in them. I read the directions and all of that, but I did not understand what in the world they were trying to tell me to do! So now I have 560 cards and don't understand what I am supposed to do with them besides collect them. So I had to make up my own rules to a game I could play with them. And it isn't even fun. Babba Does Nothing but don't know about the dragon
Well I got the babba at wal*mart. I thought oooh yea it talks and it was like 10 dollars so I bought with my friend we couldn't wait to talk to it!Well we were wrong NOTHING HAPPENED. it just gave me a little "Babba" and it lit up its cheeks oohh yea it was cute when it did that but that was it. If you want to know why I bought it in the first place well 1 it was cute. 2 I thought it would talk. 3 I like neopets and I wanted one at home not online. Please just bye the shoyru seperate save your money for something better than a Babba.

Neopets are the greatest!

Cheetos
I tried to feeed my neo pet cheetos but he wudent eet them sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo i got frushderated and banged my head against a wall nine times and broke my skul oach. The Best Toy Neopets Ever Made!!!
This pet is the bomb! It says over 50 phrases, and even answers your yes and no questions. It teaches kids the responsibility of keeping a pet because it has different moods it can go into, just like a real pet. It is so cute! I REALLY reccomend it to anyone who wants a pet that doesn't need food/water, or anyone who just loves Neopets, like me! :-)

The Neopets line of interactive toys is quite the rage online where kids can create their own custom-built critters to take care of. These smaller figurines aren't nearly as time intensive as their more complex cousins but can be plenty of fun all the same. Included in this set of three Neopets are Grundo, Aisha, and Kacheek. Grundo looks like a frog crossed with a rabbit, Aisha appears to be a catlike animal with noticeable giraffe tendencies, and Kacheek, here painted by the special "cloud paint brush", who seems to be part puppy, part rabbit, and part human toddler. this toy is for LITTLE kids
i got this toy because on tv they showed older kids playing with these.all the toy does is make sounds when it hears something or when u pick it up or put it down.they are stupid.i gave this toy to my little brother and he loves it.they are great for little kids but if you are an older kid who just wants to see if they are fun or not, dont waste your time or money on this stupid toy.

Neo Pets Mynci
I've been on the neopets website for over 2 years, and the other day i saw the voice activated neopets advertised on the website, so the next day i went out and bought one. I got a Mynci, as it was the only one left in the shop, its blue and yellow and i named him Tobi(a boy). I love my mynci, i must admit after a while he can get boring but hes nice to have as company when you're bored. Tomorrow i'm going to buy 2 more, as i think he might be more fun with other neopets to interact with. Overall i give Mynci 4 stars and i think hes nice to own if you love neopets!

Not too amusing ...
I've passed by these Neopets in the store a lot and I'd play with them in the demo mode but not really amused but when I found one in the clearance section and it was Shoyru the Dragon but Blue with yellow stars on it. I decide what the hey. I might as well see if this thing is as fun as the packaging says it to be. I brought it home and put it in Play mode and it took me less than 10 minutes to get bored of it. The last reviewer was right it does respond to your voice even thought you said a mean word softly it'd act happy and if you say something nice loud it get's angry. It doesn't say the 30 phrases the package says it does. I've only hear repeatedly Cool, Yes, Oh No, and Whistling which I guess is suppose to be his happy thing. Anyways I thought the price I paid for it wasn't worth it so I returned it. But I did find out that the one I had found is a rare Neopets item and I sort of knew that being the other Shoyru on the rack that wasn't clearance due to damaged packaging was orange colored and plain as to this one was blue with yellow stars on it. Anyways it's not too entertaining. I was more entertained by these magnetic lego type toy called Magnetixs by RoseArts. I could play with those all day and never get bored !
If you chose to buy this Neopet it's all up to you. But to me I say go with the Plush Neopet and make your own voices to go with it. ... Read more

i think that this is a great toy to own.I already own 2.the ashia i am ratting now and the orange kougra plushie.my brother has the red scorchio.i think that it would be a good toy for younger kids but still is fun for me at the age I am.it has a good play value and is very fun.it has not a lot of educational value though.

I GOT ONE!!!
I got one of these horribly cute things at Toys R Us after searching the web with no luck for one, I went to an actual store. (Luckily the toys r us in the area is not very popular so I was able to find some things that are supposed to be rare) anyways although this toy will get boring after a while all of its cuteness makes up for it. I would recommend getting another voice activated pet with it if possible.

Great fun
My daughter received this for her 8th Birthday.She absoutly loves Bell. She tells me when Bell falls asleep and loves that she talks back to her.Bell says "Lets go on an adventure." My daughter will hold Bell in her palm and take her for a tour outside, she talks to Bell and dances around while holding her in the palm of her hand singing and humming the songs along with Bell. She has told me several times she loves her Bell doll. I think this doll and the others are an excellent value especially at the clearance price. Kacheek Fans Rejoice!
Well, this plushie is modeled after the Kacheek, currently the no. 2 most popular neopet, right after Shoyrus. This raccoon-like (no, it's not at all like a dog) creature is cute, fuzzy, and wants to be your bestest pal! Not for giant hugs-the battery pack in the stomach is too hard. The reason I gave it 3-star education is because it does not require to be fed. Do you want really young kids to think that a pet doesn't need food? I didn't think so. It does, however, require to be loved. Ignore it and it will go to sleep (battery power saving mode). Yell at it a lot and it will get sick. In short, a cute (but not as cuddly) alternative to a pet.
