EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!
i rate it a 5 .it was worth it.it lasted a very long time not like other cars.also it was a very strong car when i tryed it out it went through rocks it worked .this car is the BOMB!!!!!

Wow. It's Great! NOT!
i purchased this for about 30 dollars and i thought i was gonna love it. Before i even played with it, i needed 6 AA batteries. So i got 6 rechargeable ones. I charged the batteries and started to play with it. I like it alot but then, it wouldn't go on my grass lawn! so then i decided i hated it. i took it apart to see if i could turn a switch or someting to make it go faster. i took it all apart and the put it under my bed. the next day, it was gone.

This Charger Is A Great Buy. Only $... And You Can Charge It Up To 1,000 Times. To Get All Those Charges, Though, You Shouldn't Charge It More Than 4 Hours And You Shouldn't Put In The Charger When It's Still Warm Or Not Used All The Way. The ford gt
It was awesome and all but the wheels wore down really fast and it has no grip. You can rarely go without burning out. It only lasts 5-7 minutes. I would rate it to be fun but you need to take a lot of care for it. Rocks also get into the interior of the plastic. I would rather drive an off-road car but if you are getting this toy you might want to buy another battery for longer play time and more tires.

Very fast and very fun
Let me start out by saying this car has very good handling; the tires are fairly durable and give the car good grip. The steering is very nice, I have never had a car with proportional steering before, and I must say it is a lot more fun driving a car with proportional steering than it is driving one with out. It is very fast, it goes 20 m.p.h. with out any motor upgrades; it is so fast I could follow a car up the street. It accelerates very fast, probably 0 to 20 in 3.5 seconds. It goes 200 m.p.h. scale speed because it's 1/10 scale. It's so fast you might think it would be hard to control, but it isn't really hard to control unless your going 20 m.p.h. The body is made out of a light weight material, and clips onto the body by 4 clips, it also comes with 4 spare clips. The car doesn't come with all the stickers on, so you have to put some of the stickers on your self, it took me an hour, but that's only because I'm slow. It comes with a little tool to get the wheels off which is handy. The controller is comfortable and, one thing I would like to note is I thought the contoller was powered by double A's, but it is powered by a 9 volt battery. It has kind of low ground clearance so you would probably want to look out for bumps and stuff. This car has real suspension, and the suspension is more usefull than most car's suspension because it isn't so stiff that it doesn't do any good. One thing that's cool is you can see the back end of the car go down you accelerate really fast. over all this car is durable fast, and this car is actually better than my expectations unlike most cars.

rc toy freak from rochester ny
this is by far the best rc car ever it is extreamly fast it will go over 20 mph easily even on rough pavement. It even goes faster than some hobby cars that cost $100 to $200 more. I am 23 and own many rc vehicles this car is worth every penny. The only problem i had with this car is when I got it it didn't come with a second rear wheel bearing it only came with one so I called Nikko and they sent me one free of charge.

Addictive
I got one of these with the sprint motor - that took about an hour to install, being very careful - it runs great! I look forward to weekends and the empty parking lot across the street - I'm 40! I very much reccomend this car!

Works Great
This works great. It seems to have an adequater battery life (it seems to go fast, but the battery was doing a lot of work in our case). Easy to use. Durable. Good price. What more could you want (at this price)?

A great toy
this car is great I crashed it into a tree a wall and it still works get it

This car is great I crashed it into a tree, a wall, and flipped it over there was no damage inside nor out but I really recamend buying an extra battery nikko of course what is really astounding was that I ran it over deep water about a centimeter deep and it is still running today but it is not recammended and I say buy it plus the controller looks HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!

Didn't work right out of the box
I ordered this toy early for my 8 year old son for Christmas...early October.Christmas Day, my son opened the present, we put a new set of batteries in the truck and control and NOTHING.We tried the same batteries in another remote control car, and it worked.We tried another set of batteries...NOTHING.I cannot return this toy because it was purchased in October, even though it wasn't even opened until Christmas Day.My son is even more disappointed than I am.So much for shopping early for Chrismas...so much for expecting a toy to work right out of the box!

this truck is great for indoors.i have not tried the truck outdoors yet.it is also very tough.i have ramped the truck off a 1 ft ramp and it held up like a champ. my only two complaints are

Lots of power, little control
Ever since playing with a 9.6v r/c car at a department store, I knew I had to get something powerful. However, not being a diehard r/c fan, I didn't want to spend a lot. The RadioShack Xmods were tempting and if they went on sale, I might have bought one, but I found this car on clearance after Xmas for $12.50 and thought, why not.

With 6 AA batteries to power the car, there's 9v of power. Not quite 9.6v but this car is plenty fast. The rear tires EASILY break traction on hard floors. It's a hoot doing donuts and slides both reverse and forward. Unfortunately, the control is very basic. There's only one speed each direction: full throttle, and left and right is FULL left and right, nothing in between.

In fact, it's pretty hard to even go straight on hard floors, even with the alignment control. Hit forward or reverse and the wheels immediately break traction and the car wiggles its way forward or backward. I'm sure it's different on carpet but I haven't tried and don't care to.

Nikko has other models in this line which most likely perform the same, with the difference being the shell on top.

In short, if you like doing drifts and donuts on hard floors, these Nikko cars are for you. Anything requiring more finesse and you should look elsewhere.

BTW, the car would only perform well with alkalines. Perhaps the NIMH batteries I tried were flaky. ... Read more

I recomend this car. It has a detailed body and rims. Super fast,great car to do burnouts and drifting on hardwood floors.

This is great.I saw this on another site (on sale, wait for it to go on sale!) and had always wanted to wire a mini cam to one of my larger R/C trucks.So I bought this and it is great.My only complaints are the battery pack included took longer than 4 hours to charge completely, and I had to adjust the springs in the remote to make the batteries contact properly.Otherwise, SUPER SUPER SUPER.Lets me have the same view of the house as my doggies.
