Editorial Review

Like all Imaginext toys from Fisher-Price, the Attack Wagon will suffer a ton of abuse before it shows so much as a crack. The wagon has great attention to detail too, with green holy and black ropes on its sides, thick silver studs on its tires, and a face on its back with black eyes that have red catlike pupils. It also comes with two three-pronged clubs that attach to the sides and a red drill that fastens to the back for attacking castle walls. (The drill doubles as a nose for the face on the back of the cart.) All three twirl when the cart is pushed, and the cart itself can be configured in different ways or even combined with other Imaginext toys for endless variation. The set includes a Troll Warrior with little beady-red eyes and black boots. Articulated at the arms and legs, he can don his bronze-colored armor and grasp both his black plastic sword and his shield. There's also an included plastic falcon--everything kids need to lose hours at a stretch in a fantasy world all their own. --David Morel ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Imaginext is the best!
We have all the different Imaginext Castles and now we've added the Fortress and the Attack Wagon and we love them.My 5 year old son and I play for hours on the floor with these toys. When his cousins come over I create special castles for each team and they have duals with the cross-bows and canons. They love it and I love it because it goes back to old-school toys. There is no built in voices or sounds. The kids actually have to use their own imaginations and it's fabulous!!! ... Editorial Review

Fisher-Price makes a whole series of cool Rescue Heroes action figures, including Willy Stop and Captain Cuffs, police officers extraordinaire. Willy Stop is a burly, 6-inch-tall figure with movable body parts and is dressed in a detailed blue-and-gray uniform with oversized black boots that keep him standing tall through any situation. Push the gray lever on his backpack to make his extra-large badge and two roadblock bars pop up. Press the yellow button and lights on the barricade bars start flashing red and yellow. Captain Cuffs stops bad guys in their tracks with his giant, spring-loaded handcuff-gun. Also standing about 6 inches tall and on extra-wide feet for better stability, Captain Cuffs wears a finely detailed beige-and-blue uniform and carries a removable equipment pack on his back. With the push of a button, his mighty cuff gun launches the restraining device that closes on impact. A button on the backpack activates his searchlight, allowing Cuffs to track down even the sneakiest of criminals. Aside from being some of the best role models in decades, the Rescue Heroes' equipment packs can be swapped from team member to team member for unlimited adventure. As a bonus, this special bundle includes a free Rescue Heroes video. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars what a nice toy
My little boy is four, and we got some of the rescue heros for him.He just loves all of them. It's a very nice toy for his age. The pieces are not to small for him and he can put all the attachments on them hisself.

5-0 out of 5 stars This is a Winner!
I purchased this toy as a suprise gift for my 3 year old son.The price was right and I thought he would like it.He loved it!He was so excited when he saw what was in the box!I on the other hand found the toys to be better than I had expected. They light up, and have moveable features, hands, arms, heads. They look to be very durable. My son is very rough on toys, and durability is important to me.It looks like he will have this one for a while, and the video that came with it is a keeper as well.Koodos to Fisher Price for making something durable for the little people! It's a good first action figure to get him started.

5-0 out of 5 stars A wonderful toy
My 3 1/2 yr old received this for Christmas and it still holds his interest everyday. We've only had one problem with the Captain Cuffs, the cuff shaft bent easily and finally broke. It would no longer load into the launcher.Fisher Price unfortunately does not sell replacement parts, but they were willing to replace the hero (it was still under warranty). This was the only negative to this toy.I have to say the heroes are very sturdy toys for the most part. ... Editorial Review

16 inches long, with a 14-inch twin-bladed rotor, this is a rescue helicopter big and chunky enough to carry any Fisher Price Rescue Hero into action. The open-sided cockpit is scary or cool, depending on your level of heroism, but it does have a connector on the seat back to clip Billy Blazes, Rocky Canyon, or any other Rescue Hero securely in place (note that hero figures are not included). There are two big, easy-to-use buttons on the back of the cockpit; one makes the blades rotate and another pops up "water blasters," engine-like pods on the side which fire two-inch water "weapons." There’s also a big hook underneath for picking up survivors or equipment loads; it feeds out on a string and a crank on the back rotor pulls it back in. Adult assembly and a Phillips screwdriver are required. --Richard Farr ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars WayCool!
My helicopter is way cool!It has a great winch line that pulls my rescue heroes to safety, and it shoots water to the big fire on top of the roof.

3-0 out of 5 stars Rescue Hero Fan
My son is a huge Rescue Hero fan. I searched everywhere to find this toy for his birthday (the only toy he asked for) and finally found it at a Toys R US store an hour away from home. (It was sold out online.) He loved this toy when he received it and it quickly became a favorite. After only two months of play, the top of the helecopter broke off. Not much was holding it on so I wonder why it didn't break off sooner. We are now waiting for a different model to come out.We will purchase another Helecopter for the Hero's as my son insists they "need" it.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great choice for a Rescue Heroes fan!
We got our 4 year old this helicopter as a birthday present. It's great! Not too noisy, and no batteries required. It's entirely powered by Preschooler Energy.Kids can spin the rotors by pumping a button, fire water cannons (which will get lost, but who's counting?) and rescue toys using a winch.

Even after Christmas with all the new toys, the helicopter has not been forgotten.Even Barbie has taken it for a spin. ;-) ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Cute set but no batteries
I ordered this set as a gift. When it arrived I checked it out to make sure it worked with the batteries because the info given says that it takes batteries which are included. I checked the doll & the horse but there was no place for batteries. Apparently the info was wrong. It doesn't take batteries because this doll set doesn't do anything.
Anyway, I would still buy this set because it is so cute & you can't go wrong with the price. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars 50/50
The ideas with this toy are great - the rock crusher, the battery operated conveyor belt and crane, but it has to be built from the bottom up, so once assembled, you have no chance of slotting any pieces back into place. You have to take the whole thing apart and start again. And as for all these three year olds who, according to their parents, are merrily building different construction sites to their own specifiation, don't believe it for a second. Rocket science couldn't be much more complicated than Imaginext stuff. Two tips. Build it on a surface where it doesn't need to be moved, and be prepared for 'Mom can you build this again' twenty times a day. Oh, and another thing - it's huge.

3-0 out of 5 stars Falls apart if you look at it!
This product has major design flaws. It is made to be able to be changed in its configuration. The problem with this is that it falls apart easily, the pieces do not stay snapped together and it frustrates my four and a half year old when this happens. We have lots of Playmobil products and this is not the case for that product line.I refrain from buying anymore of this line of toys!Unless you like to constantly remake a layout for a smaller child I would wait until the child is 7-8 before even buying this product!By then, the set is to simplistic for children of this age group.I bet this design flaw is why this product has come in price so much since it was first introduced!

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderfully fun toy!
I gave this to a four year old relative for Christmas and he absolutely LOVED it!He loved playined with the crane especially. He has a large collection of Imaginext toys that he adores. This is a great set for kids who love building stuff and love trucks!

One cool thing is that the trucks come apart, so kids can mix and match and be (somewhat) creative. It's a great toy that will keep kids busy for hours! ... Read more

Young fans of Disney’s Cinderella will love re-enacting one of the most exciting scenes—Cinderella’s arrival at the ball—with this carriage playset. The set comes with a Cinderella doll, a moving carriage that opens up for her to ride in, and a horse to pull the carriage. Pressing the heart on top of the carriage produces lights and one of three classical melodies to set the scene for the trip to the ball. The carriage also serves as a purse that can either carry around the smaller playset pieces or other princessly needs. Other accessories include a comb for fixing Cinderella’s hair and taming the horse’s long pink mane and a toddler-sized tiara for your little princess. --Cristina Vaamonde ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars great toy
my dauhter is 17 months and loves this toy and believe me it is too cute. She loves the lights and music and loves to brush Cinderella's hair. I love that ot os easy for her to carry around. Wonderful toy!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars fun and durable
Fisher Price makes great, durable, fun disney princess toys and this is no exception. How great is this toy! It has a horse with brushable mane, the top of the carriage is easily opened but latches well too so that it doesn't just pop right up. There is a little tiara that attaches to the back of the carriage your little one can wear. The tiara-shaped button at the top lights up and the toy plays little songs when the button is pushed. Best of all, if you own Fisher-price's Spin and Surprise Castle, this little carriage will drive right up to it! Take all the princesses for a ride since there is plenty of room inside the coach. My daughter is absolutely delighted with this toy and it goes for a great price. She loves to dance to the little tunes it emits (that are not too loud at all, like some other princess toys). I just bought it last week and I have definitely got more than my money's worth already. A hit for little princesses of all ages, no doubt. Good job fisher price.

5-0 out of 5 stars Ponies & Princesses--always sure to be a hit!
My daughter received this as a gift from her grandparents at 28 months old and really likes it.Her 5 yr old cousin just spent 10 days with us and loved it as well.My only negative comment is the little headband/tiara is already too small for her.My daughter really likes little toys so this is the perfect size princess for her, most of the other princess dolls are too big to appeal to her. This whole line of little princesses is really adorable. It seems to be pretty durable as well. After 5 months it still looks good as new and the 5 year old even took the pony outside a few times. ... It's Dora, from the popular Nick Jr. TV show Dora the Explorer, dressed up like a cowgirl. She's even got a big purple cowboy hat. She's riding an old-fashioned stick pony named Pinto. Just like on the TV show, Dora speaks both in Spanish and in English. When you press the star on her boot she sings, says a few phrases, and rocks wildly on her horse. If you push the star after she starts singing, you can hear Pinto whinny along with her. Unlike the TV show, the Dora the Cowgirl doll only has a few phrases, and we think there is the potential to get bored with her pretty quickly. This is for serious Dora the Explorer fans only. --Megan Sullivan ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars VERY BORING!
I bought this doll for my 3 yr. old daughter who loves Dora. She liked the doll for about a week and then was bored after that. She would get very frustrated because the hat would constantly fall off and Dora would fall backwards at times during the songs.I've began to notice that most of the Dora the Explorer toys don't have very good recommendations.I defenitley wouldn't recommend Dora the cowgirl to anyone.

5-0 out of 5 stars It was the only thing that made my grandaughter smile!
It was her 1st birthday. She had been feeling sick, sniffles, fever. She seen and heard Dora and that was all it took!
Pretty soon she was trying to press her foot herself! She's(Dora)
is very limited but if you need a smile she's good for one.
It probably helped that a horse was brought to her party for the kids to ride(?)

It’s called a Wizard’s Tower, but one of the great things about this set is that you needn’t be restricted to building a tower: the modular walls and floors let you construct any number of structures, encouraging the imaginations of budding young architects. The figures and accessories--including a wizard, his little goblin helper, a telescope, a cauldron, and a crystal ball--are uniformly excellent. My favorite features are the snap-on ivy and the secret chamber at the tower’s base. The pieces have a satisfying chunky heftiness (great for small and medium-sized fingers), and snap together easily but tightly. --David Stoesz ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Long live imagination!
My 6 year old son got the whole castle set for Christmas last year.He loves this set.He can spend hours making up different scenarios for these little guys.It is great that they all fit together.Since he has several different sets, he can interchange parts. He can make several different locations or one big castle. We will be moving on to the other sections of Imaginext toys soon.

There are a lot of small pieces that sometimes don't get seen nor picked up.If your child is like mine, you might be stepping on a few of these in the dark on your way to the bath room.It is also somewhat difficult for my son to construct on his own.I do frequently change the layout of his castles. And while I love playing with my son, I would also like for him to be able to manage this on his own.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Castle Play
My 4 year old son really enjoys the flexibility of this set. Though I have to help him change it around because it is still a bit difficult for him to put together. It gets a lot more play time than the traditional castle set he received shortly before this one.

2-0 out of 5 stars Fun toy if you can keep it together
My twin 4 yr old boys received this 3 days ago.It has spent more time apart than together, and they can not get the toy back together by themselves. We have Thomas and Geo sets with they take apart and put together 100 times a day, but not these.I thought these would be as durable as the Rescue Hero toys, but I was sadely mistaken.Oh well live and learn I guess.

4-0 out of 5 stars We Love IMAGINEXT
My son has the construction set, police station, firehouse, large construction set and we got him the Rockslide Ridge set for Christmas on e-bay since it is almost impossible to find the discontinued city sets in the stores. If you are an IMAGINEXT fan--get the Rockslide Ridge on e-bay.It is really nice and very durable. It has a cool "rockfall", collapsing trees and a cave.It comes with a bear, bobcat, snake and eagle as well as a ranger and accessories. My hubby and I had fun playing with it as much as my son.He just turned 8 and can finally build and reconfigure the sets himself. He and his friends have a great time with it!

5-0 out of 5 stars A great toy for kids 4 and up!!
I read so many review from parents who bought this toy for kids under 4 years old.The toy clearly states it is for kids 4 and up!!!We bought this for my son for Christmas when he was 3 1/2 years old.He loved it, but had a hard time putting the pieces together. We helped him a lot, but he still really enjoyed it.Now that he is 4, he plays with it all of the time and can easily put the pieces together with a very little, if any, help.We have several of the add-on pieces, as well as the pirate ship and boat rescue set.He plays with them all and uses his imagination to put pieces from the different sets together. We plan on getting more sets/pieces this Christmas. It is a great toy!!!I really rely on other parents reviews on products before I purchase toys, especially the expensive toys, but when parents write bad reviews because they bought a toy that was obviously not intended for a child too young for it, it really bugs me. ...
