venom striker
overall from some views of my own I would say this is probebly one of the cobras best quad out onthe market..HOWEVER (dont boo me yet) there are a few things im dissapointed in.. this one doesnt hold most cobras as well as the old ones did. also this one doesnt have shocks like the old skool blue cobra quad. (come on, you loved the shocks on it!) the tires on the old skool blue one were tough rubber as well, mine are kinda stretched or cracked if yo would say. but in honor of growing up with G.I.Joe, I say this toy is deffinitly worth the money..

Stock up on Venom Strikers
The new Cobra Venom Striker is probably the coolest deluxe vehicle to date. It takes the majority of the poorly designed and shelf-warming Assault Quad and turns it into a cool little vehicle that's a must buy!

Ever since the Ferret, the ATV has been a longstanding staple in the Cobra motor pool. While this vehicle lacks a few of the functions that made the Ferret what it is, it nonetheless makes a great replacement or compliment to a squad of Ferrets.

The Claws figure's pretty cool and was actually what spurred my like of the Claws figure. Unlike the oversized Venom Cycle, the Venom Striker holds a driver perfectly.

Direction Too Dark
Like all of the GI Joe and Tonka Lego-compatible sets, there are plenty of special pieces not found in other sets.The directions are pretty clear, but do not use the Lego/Mega Blok standard of highlighting the new pieces (this may cause a problem at step 3 and others).The set also includes a fully posable figure (knees, elbows, ankles, wrists, hips, shoulders, and neck).

This is a smaller model and a pretty nice design.There are also instructions to build a snowmobile (unfortunately if you want both vehicles at the same time you will need to buy two sets).

This also includes a missile launcher that throws missiles at the push of a button so it may be inappropriate for some children.

Bang bang
Defense Mech - Fun toy is a step above the last wave of small vechicles, kinda reminds me of the old exo-squad toys.my 11 year old had tons of fun stomping threw his cobra troopers with it.
Leatherneck - good figure over all only prob with him was his sunglass's where lost in the first 5 min.

cool toy
My dad got me this toy last Christmas, and I love it.The automatic grenade launcher shoots really far,and I can fit 7 G.I.s in it.

Great toy
My son loved it so what can I say.The only down side is that it really doesn't have much educational value, but then all don't toys don't have too.I'd also have to say that if my son hadn't been so exited about getting it I probably would have balked at the cost, but it was worth every penny to see his face light up the way it did!!

Large and impressive!! Great for 7-8 year olds
My son wanted a truck or vehicle for his GI Joe and this seemed to be the best answer. When we gave it to him, he was so excited that all the other toys just sat there for hours before he came back to them. Not the most intellectually challenging toy, but still a hardy, traditional toy for boys and girls. Sort of expensive, but seems worth it for such a big impact toy. ... Read more

Apparently go-carts aren't just for amusement parks anymore. Oh sure, they call this a mobile assault vehicle, but it looks remarkably like it should be speeding around a fenced off racetrack surrounded by rubber tire bumpers and people eating cotton candy. That is until a button is pushed on the steering wheel and the hood pops open to reveal a spring-loaded missile. The regulation military green vehicle fits larger G.I. Joe action figures, or just about any other similarly sized figure or especially adventurous stuffed animal, and would fit in well with other military equipment. My son loves this toy
We bought this toy for my son's birthday.He loves playing with GI Joe but we couldn't find vehicles for GI Joe, Action Man or Max Steel to fit in.They are too big for Barbie vehicles.So we found this and I was very surprised how durable this vehicle is.The wheels do not fall off, they are screwed in.The men fit perfectly in the seat.The missile's don't stay in the grooves too well but if you snap them in, they don't fall out.You press the button on the stearing wheel and the missle launcher comes up.Overall, my son loves this toy.My daughter loves it too.Now he doesn't have to use her Barbie vehicles. ... THis toy is really damn cool........
I'm a hugeeeeeee 80's gijoe fan......I've been since i was 11 and started recollecting when I was 19, I'm 21 now and have like 400 moc figures or so.....and like 200 ones for play...
this toy is great for anyone into action figures and especially people into gijoe but i found with this boat that it tends to fit more accurately with 80's GIJOES than with the ones from 2003 and 2004....Hasbro still makes good toys i think. I think like this..."if you don't like it don't pay 20 bucks for it"
but still i think everyone needs to argue at some point.
My favorite ship of all time might either be the BArracuda
from 93 or the Moray hydrofoil from i think 85 or 86....
GIJOE was probably the funnest toy when you were young to play
with in the water....find a small river bank or even in the bathtub that is extremely fun but one thing I always will remember is that you have to somehow blow on the figures holes
so they don't rust..... nobody wants rusty screws!!!

I think Zartan will always be the most unique
CObra character!....

New toy with an old mid 80s feel
With this toy they didnt try any new fancy colors or a bunch of small parts that brake off or a mass amount of spring launch bombs < well two on the side> every thing is dark not bright red and pink. you know eary 90 joes, every thing is as it shoud be i have been waiting for 10 year for a river boat and this one was well worth the wait. but if u are looking for a sound, spring, bright toy this is not it. it goes great with early 80s joes. Worth while for the price
I, myself, liked the toy.My 5 year old LOVES it.He was pretty much inseperable from it the first few days.Yes, the plane's barrel roll turns a bit too easily, but the overall effect made it more fun. There are ways to hold onto it so it doesn't roll.The action figure was pretty cool looking too.According to all his friends, it's a pretty awesome toy and very popular with them to the point of having to split up individual time to avoid confrontation. I'd say the kids have the final vote, don't you think?

PRO's:
The Ace Figure is great if no other reson you should buy this toy is for this figure.
The push butten drop the bombs off the wings is kinda fun but is offset by the best place to hold onto this "jet" moves around.
It did make my 10 year old vary happy and had lots of fun with it.

CON's:
The Barrel Roll action/sound seam to me like one of thows good ideas bad way to do it type of things, would be better if you could lock the tail into place.
Its not bacied off a real jet like MOST of the GI Joe team Vehicles are.
The canopy seamed to pop off every time a new figure was placeed inside and locking hand to the controls

OFFHAND:
I really feel sorry for Ace, thows of you that remember he Started GI Joe in the Skystriker (F-14 that was build to scale) he could even bail out of it when thrown (kinda)
There are better 3 3/4 jet figters out there look up the power team F-18 (without reviewing it the PT jet is good the figures are junk, guess you cant have the best of both worlds)

Good planes
While the barrel roll feature does kind of take away from the toy, this can be fixed with some ingenuity.The whol plane is a great addition to the G.I. Joe line with the cool design and excellent bomb dropping trigger.I myself took out the batteries.Another great thing about this toy is the figure Ace that comes with it.It is an excellent figure and this is a great toy. ... Cobra, in the world of G.I. Joe, is not an optional health plan that Joe buys into after he leaves his job. Rather, it's an organization of bad guys against which team Joe must constantly battle. And as long as they have weapons like this fierce-looking helicopter, it should be quite a battle indeed. The F.A.N.G. III (love the name) features spring-loaded missiles that fire and posable guns. Attach the included rocket and hit a button to hear battle sounds or check out the chopping sound made by the rotor blades. A giant leap in quality!Great job Hasbro!
I have been a 3 3/4" GI Joe collector for almost 20 years now, and I have to say I am extremely impressed at the jump in quality I have seen in the last year.I have purchased both the Fang 1 and the Fang II, and this one tops both of them in quality.The Fang III is well-built, compact, and covered with weaponry.The figure is well sculpted and he fits in the seat without sticking a peg in his back.There are two missiles, two large guns, and a nice sound attack feature on the left missile slot.While the Fang I and II had real durability issues (e.g. pieces breaking, rockets not staying on, structures failing), this helicopter is solid.I have purchased two Fang IIIs so far and I love them both.Don't hesitate to buy the Fang III before it is gone!

A decent addition to the new Joe line
Sound effects, cool paint, good detail, an included figure, and several weapons make this a cool toy.Yes it's small, but it's a good buy for the money.I recommend this toy to add some air-power to your Cobra army.It's sure to harass your Joes.
Weaknesses?The gun on the front is flimsy, the missile launcher under the belly doesn't lock in place and can flop around, and the rotors could be longer and beefier.However the rotors can be folded up, a nice touch.
Still, it's a lot of fun and definitely worth picking up, especially for the price. ... Read more

Bang Bang
Pulverizer - Nice toy, the sounds coming outta its right arm when you press down the butten and opeans its arm gets alittle repetive. my 11 year old loved having it fight the defence mech

Ghost Bear - had alitle prob fitting him into the pulverizer and his little knife is easy to lose, hes also not the best looking figure but is nice over all
