    Editorial Review

Representing the Helic Republic, this gigantosaurus Zoid, Gojulas Giga, comes unassembled and ready to be customized for battle from start to finish. He has articulated arms, head, and tail and his weapons include a stinger in his thrashing tail, hardened claws, and a chomping jaw full of sharp teeth. Kids can remove his spine and equip this gigantosaurus with Republic Twin Supercannons or Twin Buster Cannons (sold separately) for extra power. Gojulas Giga has motorized walking action so kids can mobilize him for battle and he can attack in either of his dual modes--pursuit or battle. In addition, this Zoid has a loud electronic roar and an opening cockpit on his head with flashing lights. While the instruction booklet is fairly precise, Gojulas Giga comes with numerous tiny plastic pieces that are sometimes difficult to identify. Kids may require assistance from adults (who may also be a little stumped) to get this Zoid up and running. This action figure runs on two AA and two AAA batteries (not included). --Cristina Vaamonde ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars ONE BIG ZOID!
First things first, this zoid is HUGE! This is one of the biggest zoids made and the only one that makes various noises that I know of. The eyes light up and in one mode it makes foot crashing noises, in the other the head rotates and it makes a roaring sound. With it's size this zoid has many parts, making it more suitable for older kids as far as putting it together. Also some of the pieces tend to fall off quite easily, other than that it makes a great addition to any zoids collection!

4-0 out of 5 stars Awsome....but could be better.
First of all, it is awsome looking. A really good addition to your collection. The eyes and mouth light up and it makes walking sounds and roars. You can put it in pursuit mode or battle mode. It is also suppost to walk but... it dosn't really. It moves it's legs back and forth but, it just stays in the same spot. That was a disapointment. And it doesn't have any weapons! But all in all it is a really cool zoid. I HIGHLY recomend it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Tough as nails, but fun to build
This Zoid will eat the competition for lunch! This is one of the largest Zoids ever produced!I definately recomend this Zoid for someone who loves Zoids.Be forewarned though, this is one of the more dificult Zoids to build. If you don't take your time, you may screw up.Buy this only if you are serious about it.If you just want something to do, build something a little simpler. If you think you're ready, though, buy it NOW!This bad boy is huge, so don't let the price fool you! This is the cheapest I have ever seen him!I bought mine for like 50 Mr. Bucks! This is the deal of a lifetime! If you want a challenge, whip out your wallet and let the fn begin! ... Billed as an action-figure model kit, this Zoids Geno Breaker combines two fun activities in one toy. Before you can stage adventures of your own and conquer the world with a menacing, fully armed Geno Breaker Zoid, you first have to follow the instructions for assembly and snap together all of the included parts like a traditional model kit. No glue is required, but younger children may need a little help from an adult to fully assemble the kit. The completed Zoid can be configured in a few different ways and is equipped with a wind-up motor (no batteries are required) that powers all of the figure's moving parts. Note: The kit's small pieces may be a choking hazard for small children. --Chris Burns ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars AWESOME ZOID
This is one of my favorite zoids. It is challenging without being to hard. It has lots of movable parts and looks great. It (and most other zoids) are best suited for ages 8 and up. I have the hasbro(american) version but I would recommend the tomy(japanese) version because that one comes with raven and shadow figures. Either one would be a great toy for any kid that likes dinosaurs or robots!

    5-0 out of 5 stars Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet !
Overall Geno Beaker is a realy cool Zoid! The X-Breakers were cool but I prefer the Geno Saurer guns better. My only complaint is that the set didn't include the miniature Shadow

The name Gustav seems more appropriate for a Lutheran pastor than a mechanical insect, but despite his moniker, this specimen is pretty impressive. Resembling an enormous robotic potato bug, Gustav sports red plated armor that covers his body. After you follow the detailed assembly instructions, the bug is ready to roll and one AA battery (not included) allows him to walk. Besides Gustav himself, the set includes two mobile platforms, complete with four additional, smaller Zoid figures. When you see the relatively tiny size of these other Zoids, you understand the scale of Gustav in the Zoid universe where, the packaging promises, he weighs 68 tons. In real life, he weighs considerably less and is about the size of a small guinea pig. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars an okay replacment of a hover cargo
this toy is ausome! it comes with miny figures of the ariginle zoid show. it come with a moonbey pilot. it has like a miny repair system on the platforms that it halls around on its back as well as your zoids. this zoid has some of the best armore ive ever seen! u know how large it is in the show. in real life its only as big as a gunie pig. this zoids great for the defencive side of your zoid team. great for eather carrying zoids or blowing them up. hope u buy it! :)

5-0 out of 5 stars The Gustav is soooooo cool!
This zoid is realy cool! I gave this zoid a 5 on durability because the only thing that will come off is the radar. But you have to work at it for it to come off. I gave it a 5 on educational value because you have to put it together. It goes kind of fast too. But my molga can go a little faster. And the pannels on it's back move just like in the movie! Over all the Gustav is a really cool.

4-0 out of 5 stars The Gustav Model
When i first got this zoid i liked it. Istill like it but all it does is pull a zoid ( One Big like a liger or a 2 small like nightwise size). This zoid is motorized uses 1 aa battery and can pul a zoid on carpet wood and tile. It is farely easy to build and took me about 20 minutes. This toy comes with some of the people of the zoid show (chaotic centry). This zoid is entertaining when it has a zoid on its hitch (wich you can take off). But over all i would say its a good toy and you should like it if you like zoids. ... Read more

A sweet Zoid! It has like a thousand guns on it's back/front and a group of three guns rotate like gappling guns. It's motorized and holds one pilot, it moves at a crawl. I suggest getting it!

5-0 out of 5 stars Gun Blaster
The GunBlaster is fairly easy to assemble (it took me about an hour or so). The legs are only in three pieces not counting the caps. The only part where you have to be careful with this Zoid is the guns. There are at least 20 guns on it (reminds me of a Dibison) and they can break, so be careful when cutting them out. The eyes are the only eyes I've seen so far that are acutally painted instead of see-through. He walks kinda slow, but he can walk on carpet without falling over, which is a plus. If I can remember right, it only requires one AA battery unlike other Zoids.
Overall, I really like the GunBlaster. On my Shadow Blades team (see the Berserk Fury write-up) this Zoid can be my heavy-gun in sniper battles. ... Read more

Here's a phrase we don't get to write nearly often enough these days: wind-up motor! But that classic mode of operation is precisely the one employed by this Molga. It's fairly easy to assemble using the included directions and once it has come together, wind it up and watch it move clumsily along the countertop, bedroom floor, or desk. I don't have this Zoid just yet but I think it looks realy cool
(As said in the title!). As soon as I get this Zoid I'll start
looking for the extra part that goes with it. The main reason I
need this Zoid is because I need a Zoid meant for armed recon!

3-0 out of 5 stars an okay zoid
This is a pretty good zoid. i was very surprized at how much better it was than i expected. i wasnt going to get this one at first but a few other reviews perswaded me o by it. i dont want to say it was a wast of money, but it was kindov a wast of money. the head is always falling off and it barly moves at all. i always have to push it along so it can sort of move. i hope i dont stop you from buying it if you want to. but this what i think. its just an okay zoid.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good mid-range Figure
Well I'm pretty disappointed to see that the Zoids line didn't do better here in the states.I've been a Zoids collectorfor several years and mostly had to get them direct from Japan or from importers here in the states.I was so happy that hasbro took the lead to putting them out here even if they were just re-packages of the Japanese versions for the most part.i guess there was a TV show but it seems to have died somewhat quickly after a couple of seasons.

Anyway, Darkhorn is a robotic Rhino that actually fires real missiles once assembled. The Japanese Ultra Dark horn actually ran on a battery. Not for younger children due to the firing missiles and small parts though.Nice figure.Assembles quickly and without problem and holds up nicely. Not cheap.Good mid-range zoids figure.Looks great when displayed with his Zoids buddies!

It's not quite a model, and it's not quite a toy--it's a ZOID. This snarling Liger Zero seems like a model because you need to snap it together out of the plastic pieces provided. But it's also a toy, because once you've assembled the well-armed beast, it can move around around and snap its jaws with motorized, battery-operated action. Younger kids might be intimidated by all the construction involved, but the Liger Zero's step-by-step instructions (and the fact that you don't need any glue or special tools) help a lot. --Paul Hughes ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Frustrating
My 8-year-old son was delighted to get this for Christmas & begged daily for his dad to help him put it together. After 3 hours of pure frustration the toy was put together by an adult - and then failed to work once we put the batteries in! Imagine the disappointment after all that work. The pieces fell off almost as soon as they were assembled which is probably what led to the toy not working. I only gave this a rating of 2 for educational value becuase if you have an 8-year-old that can actually follow the pages & pages of detailed instruction then you should be proud! We now have half a zoid that makes a terrible noise but doesn't move. Not worth the money!

I purchased this product as a Christmas gift for my ten year old son and attempted to assemble it.The body of this zoid has 4 cams designed to make the legs move.Problem (1): The pin on the body used to align the legs and the pin attached to the cam to transmit the motion don't line up with holes in the legs.Problem (2): When I attempted to the attach the power supply to the body the conector in the power supply came loose. The result is a beast that just kinda' sits there, makes a lot of noise (when I jiggle the connection just right) and doesn't move an inch.I found the assembly of this zoid to be very tiresome especially when the result is a toy that doesn't work.

5-0 out of 5 stars A wolf with wheels?
It may sound odd, and beleive me, it is.This is probably the most unique Zoid I have ever seen.I like his color scheme, though.I am a sucker for wolf-type Zoids, so I can't help but like him!Mine has a balencing problem, but he still is cool.He has a missile launcher on his back, which really is his only weapon. His ripcoard action is something entirely new to Zoids. With his gear mechanism, he is considerably heavy for his size.If you like wolf Zoids, he should definately be at the top of your wish list. However, if you find no love in wolf Zoids, stick to the others.Hats off to wolf zoid fans! This is the Zoid for you!

5-0 out of 5 stars nice weels
this toy wheels are great and the toy is very durable. ive dropped it about five or six times and havnt lost one piece. one great thing about this toy is that you can ajust its speed by how hard u pull the rip-cord. its color sceam isnt the greatest but its coc-pit is one of the best ive seen, because of its blue fake glass. the weels roll and the gun on its back atully fires.its my favorite out of the gravity series(even though its the only one out of that series i have). overall i give it 5 stars *****.

5-0 out of 5 stars Reminds me of Beyblade...
For those of you who haven't figured out already, there are 3 Zoids that I know of that use a rip-cord system for power, sort of like a Beyblade. I find this Wolf to be very durable (at least so far), and, for some odd reason, I get a kick out of running it. The only part I found hard was the legs. The wierd little circle-things that go on the legs aren't really that much difference in size, so pay attention to the instructions.
The head on mine won't stay together well; the right side won't stay attached to the blue head piece. Anyway, I liked this Zoid quite a bit. A must-have for those of you that like the rip-cord system. ... Read more

On my Shadow Blades team (see the Berserk Fury write-up) this Zoid can be my heavy-gun in sniper battles. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Based on Zoids Ultra Dark Horn...

5-0 out of 5 stars This Zoid is GREAT!
This Zoid is great! It is extremely fun because of the fact that it actually launches rockets. It is not very edjucational because it has many weapons whitch might give young kids(5-6)bad ideas and its also not very edjucational because you dont build-it-your-self.It is very durable because it was molded not built. This is a great toy I definitely recconmend it! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars A Rip Cord??????
The Gravity Saurer is one of my favorite zoids. It is a Tyrannosaurus type zoid with two missle launchers and lots of other guns. In all my reviews, I give a complete explaination of the zoid I am reviewing. The Gravity saurer is also know as the Gravity Raptor. On the box, he looks different than he does after you build him. Like Gravity Siax, the Gravity Saurer comes with a rip cord to make him walk. I gave this zoid a 5 on fun because it's just so fun to play with. I gave it a 4 on educational value because you learn constructional skills. This zoid was very easy to build. I gave it a 5 on durability because it has not broken once. Not one piece has fallen off yet. This a great zoid for beginners or anyone who has ever built a zoid.
    Pros:
    Very Durable
    Awesome Missle Launchers
    Easy to build

    Cons:
Uses a rip cord to walk. If you lose the rip cord you're out there.
Looks different than it does on the box.

5-0 out of 5 stars Gravity Saurer
A cool Zoid! Besides the Gravity Saix, the Gravity Saurer was the first of it's kind to use a rip cord. It really isn't a cord attached to the Zoid, no. It's a thin plastic rod with little rivits in it that you push into the Zoid, and pull out activating the gears. There's and off-and-on switch, so if you pull the cord and the switch is off, it won't move. It also has two laser cannons on it's bask that are darts that actually fire out. It comes with one pilot. I reccomend getting this Zoid.

5-0 out of 5 stars gravity saurer
this is a great zoid for beginers. the directions are easy to read.also the walking motion is cool. but the rip cord was kinda a bad idea i tryed to rip the cord while i was dolding it and it went flying across the room and the leg broke off but it is easy to repair if you keep the instructions. this is a great toy ... In the world we know, one wouldn't ordinarily think of casting a tortoise as a sleek and powerful attack beast. Real tortoises are neither sleek nor powerful nor do they ever do much attacking. But in the world of Zoids, this beast is imposing indeed. Following the detailed instructions, construct this detailed tortoise featuring an open cockpit and a spring loaded missile. The missile pod can also attach to other Zoids. Electronic battle sounds, which sound very space age if not entirely realistic, can be heard with the push of a button. The tortoise doesn't move on its own, but according to the information printed on the side of the box he can actually travel at 120 kilometers per hour. --John Moe ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Neat little stocking stuffer.
This is my first Zoid in years. Only had the old stuff. My gf bought it for me when I was in Wal-Mart when I said I used to play with those things.

It was pretty easy to build. I'd say 20 mins. Less if you don't take your time to file down the rough spots. What's really good is that missle launcher really goes far. They give you an extra missle. It also have this load position, where if you press the lever, it doesn't fire, but it also doesn't fall out. Good for display storage. However, there doesn't seem to be much movement in this model. The outter shell might have something to do with it. They could have done something better witht the feet.

It actually comes with the watch-cell batteries it needs, so that's a bonus. I found that there were a ton of decals, and not really enough smooth areas to place them. Neat toy, but I guess it's mostly a expansion thing. But for the price, who cares. You're buying the cannon to put onto something else.

I'm gonna give some of you a warning: this Zoid isn't very durable. It falls apart really easily, so be careful. Anyway, I found this Zoid to be my favorite of the four Zoids that form the Chimaera Dragon. It isn't really much (none of them are) compared to the Blox that form the Matrix Dragon, but it'll look good when it's combined with another Zoid. I couldn't find the instructions for the Chimaera Dragon anywhere, but I found out that if you combine the four Chimaera Dragon Zoids with the Buster Eagle, there can be many good combos for it. Just a thought.
Anyhow, this is a pretty good Zoid for either collecting or combining. Enjoy.

5-0 out of 5 stars The all new Gravity Saix!
I just bought this zoid a couple of days ago at toysrus.I have been really wanting to get one of the gravity zoids so I pick this one.The really neat thing about this zoid I like was the power gears. It doesn't use batteries.Instead, you use a rip cord to pull it through the gears like a bey blade. Another thing is that the sword missule really shoots!I have never seen a model kit do that. Also I like the spots stickers that you can put on it.This is a zoid you have to get.

5-0 out of 5 stars Blinding orange kitty.
Gravity Saix is one of the first of various new currently Hasbro-exclusive designs. The Gravity in its name is presumably because it uses a ripcord-powered flywheel for a motor.

How well does the motor work?Well, in all honesty, it doesn't go very far. You'd be lucky to get it to go a meter/yard at the most...usually more like a couple feet. While it's moving, it does get a reasonably sleek walk for something with one-piece legs...the paws are separate, mind, but the legs themselves are just one piece.

Overall, Gravity Saix is very easy to put together.Nothing tricky here. There aren't many pieces, and they're cast in the blinding orange I mentioned (it may look more yellow on the box, but we're talking bright day-glo orange, kind of like what hunters wear so people can see them), an off-white similar to the white Command Wolf, and a silvery grey. The gun and the sword-missile are this softer stuff...and I'd say that with the rounded tip, the sword-missile really looks more like a spatula with a short handle.

Some of the decals/stickers that come with Gravity Saix are kind of neat-they include some cheetah-like spots.I don't use them, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Overall, Gravity Saix isn't a bad Zoid, especially for something many people theorize is one of Hasbro's first design attempts. The ripcord motor could've done with more power to it, though-Gravity Saix is about the size of a larger wind-up like Command Wolf, but it's a lot heavier. ... I don't really like this Zoid much compared to my others. It's a good Zoid for combining or collecting, but otherwise, it isn't as durable, and I don't like the color scheme that much.

It's not quite a model, and it's not quite a toy--it's a ZOID. This snarling Liger Zero X seems like a model because you need to snap it together out of the plastic pieces provided. But it's also a toy, because once you've assembled the well-armed beast, it can move around around and snap its jaws with motorized, battery-operated action. Younger kids might be intimidated by all the construction involved, but the Liger Zero X's step-by-step instructions (and the fact that you don't need any glue or special tools) help a lot. --Paul Hughes ... I know alot about Zoids, whether its a good choose or whether its bad. You can win any battle with any Zoid, its just some are better than others and this is a great chose.

P.s. why isnt this show on tv any more, you probly get more products sold.

5-0 out of 5 stars The great zoid mix-up
I love zoids. I have built and own over 20 of them. Liger zero x is one of the best ones i have. It remins me alot of the blade liger. the blue is definlity better. I plan pn buying 2 more so i can have both armors on display the fire pheonix attachment. Everthing gets 5 stars except for durability. (we all know zoids aren't the best of durable items)I had no prblem building this it took me 5 hours on the account of me watching tv eating dinner and countning time to take out the parts. This zoid is great but ahhhhhhhhhh yes.yes there is a problem......

It could only be on my zoid package but when i recieved mine the box and manual are all wrong it says included with extra red armor on the box and insructions.when you read the manual the insructions for the red armor are given first. at the end of the of the manual it says inructions for assembling the red armor againwhen it is really the blue armor. There is no extra red armor. The armor is the red armor the extra armor is in fact the blue armor. So the box and the instuction manual are wrong(not the inructions on building the zoid though). Just sying this so there is no confusion but once again this might only be mine.

5-0 out of 5 stars Liger Zero X
This toy I found to be very fun. Its looks alone was what really made me notice this Zoid. The Liger Zero X is one of my absolute favorite Zoids. Over about three years I've collected and built 35 Zoids and this was one of the more challenging and one of the more fun Zoids I've had. This Zoid was well worth my money:) ... Read more

mosasledge rocks! i love the way you can custimize him. sometimes his bottom armor falls off. his teeth are sharp. he has a chainsaw tail. the only hard part in building him was getting the pieces out of the plastic:). he was my fisrt z-builder and i built him in under 10 minutes. u should get this zoid. it rocks!

5-0 out of 5 stars This is a cool toy !!!
I love this toy because its so customizable and poseable plus you can attach it to other bigger zoids. You can also combine all four to make the matrix dragon.

    4-0 out of 5 stars a Zoids Mosasaur!Cool!
Mosasaurs were ocean-going dinosaurs, that grew as large as a small jet airliner, with big teeth and bigger appetites.

This Zoid is a model of a mosasaur, and is a part of the Zblock family, it's core consiting of 4 zblock units, which the rest of the Mosasledge components, head/cockpit,fins, tail, engine.

It articulates very nicely, and looks cute with it's jaws-gaped.
You can combine it's parts with the other zblock Zoids to build new and weird creatures.

On the downside like most Zoids, it sort of comes apart with really rugged play. If you are a concerned parent, have your child store his Zoid in a ziploc bag when being stored, or otherwise not in use, to minimize on the lost parts.

I'm not sure if it floats or not. But this Zoid is non-motorized, with no metal parts, so exposure to water will only harm the stickers, (which are a little hard to get on straight).

I like mine, it makes a great monster to have lurking on my monitor. ... Read more
