2-0 out of 5 stars very disapointed
i bought this thinking it was going to be really cool, but it was very boring and stupid.it contains 3 puzzles all of which a 5 yr old can do and the games are the most stupid games ever.the one with the spinner only shows the objects on the puzzle move smaller as you look at it.thats the whole thing.your pupil is just going back to its smaller, regular size and it makes the picture look like it's getting smaller.and the one with the magic cards is rediculous.anyone can see that all you have to do is choose the cards that you can see the character you chose through.very disapointing.i wish i could have seen the box before i bought it.then i would have seen just how lame this was.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun and entertaining puzzles
These puzzles are fun.I especially like the fact that they are double sided puzzle (two puzzles in one). You get a lot for your money. If you like Harry Potter, you will love these. Each puzzle has a great scene on it.Perfect for any fan.

4-0 out of 5 stars A bit confused
I tried playing with this game, but I couldn't figure out how to get the spiral game to work. That is the only one I have tried sp far and I've only been trying for about a half hour, but it gave me a head ache, so i gave up. But other than that, the game was a ton of fun and is sure to keep me busy for a long time. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars The big,The bad,The SCORPONOK!
I'm always having too much attention with Scorponok,he's allways going to others'personal space and attacking them, especially Megatron and Optimus. He's always showi'n of his muscels and good looks which ticks off especially Megatron. That's why most people gang up on him.Scorponok transforms to a hover jet and mechanical scorpion. He also has bigg'ol claws and a stinger full of electricity and raw energon. He's in my main ofice on top of a summit pumping himself up sayi'n;"I'm the best of all you weaklings!AH HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!!!And Megatron shall pay for dissing my master Alpha Q!All he wanted was to have back his planet and this is what he gets! You people sicken me!"He drives every one crazy! We'lp,gotta get goin!

5-0 out of 5 stars He takes a beating and keeps on ticking.
I really like my Scorponok figure. I've heard several complaints about tight joints and the like, but I have no problem with them. Still not quite used to the "ratchet" joints that they're using alot more of in the mega and ultra figures. As for the poseability to these joints, I'd say it's relatively good. Overall a really fun toy if you can deal with the noises that go with it (take out the batteries if they bother you).

4-0 out of 5 stars as a non-kid, i officially agree with "a kid's review"
looks great, interesting transformation, sounds are greatly improved from the deluxe armada figues, BUT!

i think the collector obsession with tight joints has gotten to hasbro's collective brain. the last couple of energon toys i got (scorponok and arcee) have both been TOO tight, by a lot, and with scorponok it's so much the case that some of his semi-detachable parts tend to come off during every transformation.

...but they pop back on easily enough, so it's not that big a deal.

i'm mostly a g1 fan, so i kinda wish he was a LOT bigger, but as it is now he's sitting in my office comfortably and threateningly holding arcee off the ground with one hand and scaring the crap out of starscream with the other.

neat.

oh, my other gripe is some minor difficulty in posability. his legs and arms aren't really as flexible as they might be, and he can't stand freely in robot mode with his tail up. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Supergirl is just SUPER!
I wonder what most collectors of this doll are complaining about? There is nothing wrong with this doll what so ever. Yes, I know I said that I wasn't going to buy this doll but hey I lied ok so Sue me. I mean how can I not right? I have all of the other Barbies like, Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Catwoman, Poison Ivy and now Supergirl!I got her two days ago and took her out of the box and was toying with her. There is NOTHING wrong with her boots as most collectors complained about, there's no slit in the back and it DOES NOT come off of her feet! Now I left her hair in the plastic wrapper that it comes in to keep it from being messed up. I know collectors/buyers were upset because hair on the doll comes out easily and that I do agree with in the case of Wonder Woman doll I first purchased, her hair came out easily when you combed her. So I stopped combing her hair and it doesnt come out so I just leave the doll on display. I bought a second Wonder Woman doll and that one I left in her box. Aside from that Supergirl is a great doll. I love her now and I will treasure them all. These dolls are nostly aimed for collectors and for young girls who treat their dolls delicately. If you know your child is rough with their toys then these DOLLS are NOT for THEM! Buy them and treasure them for years to come. ENJOY!

1-0 out of 5 stars Super Hero To The Rescue? It's SCARY!!!!!
Man, this doll gives me nightmares! I mean look at it! It's ugly!!!!!!! You would NOT want this hanging in your room!!!

2-0 out of 5 stars BEWARE
When my sister got this doll out of the box, she was so excited because she had finally finished collecting the whole D.C. Doll Series(Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Catwoman, Supergirl), but only to find out that this doll was poorly done. She started playing with her hair, very gently, and hair plugs went missing! Within 5 minutes out of her box, the Supergirl doll had more than six missing hairplugs! Strands of hair just kept coming off. We were all surprised because Mattel has always made quality products and this had never happened. All the other dolls had come out fine, it was just this doll that came with defects. My sister was sad, and my mom decided to buy her another one because the doll was missing a lot of hair and probably could not be returned. So when she got her 2nd Supergirl doll, she also came with defects. The shirt was kind of small, and very tight and hard to put back on. The hair did not come as defected as the first doll, but it still has hairs coming off when her hair gets combed or a little pull. A BIG DISSAPOINTMENT. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Awesomest
I bought this Sauron for my six year old's birthday. It is tré cool. It says, "You cannot hide. I see you," and its eyes light up red. The body is well constructed and jointed at elbows, shoulders, knees & hips, with a lot of armour detail, and a shredded-edge black cape. The head and wrists turn. It also says, "There is no life in the void,"and "Build me an army worthy of Mordor." Very ominous, with nice pointy boots. If I'd known it would be this much fun I'd have gotten two.

3-0 out of 5 stars ULTIMATE BAD GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got this toy a few weeks ago and it is incredible. His cape is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! cool its even realistick. One of the spikes on his head is bendy so it is a little bit irritating. He is very poseable but I can hardly think of a good pose. If you have frodo gollum and sam which came in the mount doom gift pack you can compare the sizes and you will find that they are puny. The ring is not the best part!!!!!. Dont listen to that reviewer his voice is loud but not booming and the frazez are old fasion. his club thingy is hard to keep in his hand but you could get a hold of it. I had so much fun making him pound up my other toys. Nobody stood a chance exept aragorn who wields narzil I have that figure. The bag of rings is not most detailed and it is hard to locate them in the box over all a nice figure.

5-0 out of 5 stars AWSOME FIGURE
I've had this figure for awihle and I know it's awsome. His armor is highly detailed, and his mace is huge. I don't know about you, but I like to whack my other figures with it! My cousin, and brother both like to collect LOTR figures and so do I. My favorite part about Souron is his helm. So before this figure is sold out buy it today! ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Very disappointing
My step-son bought this for my daughter last year (she was five). She was so excited she couldn't wait to get it out of the box, and when I looked at all the activities I thought "wow, this is both a really great intro to a computer and a fun learning toy for her."She played with it for exactly one hour and then put it down and told me she had a headache.Since then she has tried on and off to use it, but she only gets frustrated.Reason:The screen is very tiny and the lighting of the screen is very dull which makes the child have to squint to see it.She was so disappointed she was practically in tears.I think in the year she's had it she's played with it a handful of times and always tells me she can't see it, and she gets very frustrated because the games are very interesting to her and she would really love to play them if only she could stare at the screen for longer than an hour at a time.

Come on, Mattel, I expect better than that both from you and the Barbie line.Barbie products are typically better made and more expensive than other toys, and parents buy them because their daughters are crazy for Barbie--as I was when I was a child.I don't mind being "locked-in" to buy a product line that is pricy if my daughter loves it and will use it, but this was a terrible waste of my step-son's money. With all the technology of today, and considering the size of this toy, couldn't you find some way to make the screen bigger so kids could enjoy it?

The only one who gets any use out of it is my 3 year old son who gets a kick out of Barbie's voice when he presses the buttons, but has no interest in the screen--and that's the only reason I haven't thrown it out yet. That's just sad for a Barbie product.

2-0 out of 5 stars couldn't return it fast enough
Yuck. We didn't like it at all. We got it for our 4 1/2 year old. It's cute looking before you turn it on but that's all it's got going for it, in my opinion. The sound is awful. The screen is hard to see. And the games are way too complicated and confusing for the age it's recommended for. The child definitely needs to be able to read to use it. It was such a poor toy that we decided to just return it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great learning fun!

3-0 out of 5 stars Really cute but.....
My daughter got this set for her birthday. As I'm taking the dolls out of the packaging their pedestal breaks. So now there is only one seat for the mermaids. Plus as everyone else has mentioned the accessories are far to small, and there is nowhere for them to go, except the garbage. The dolls are really cute but the quality is lacking.

4-0 out of 5 stars Magical Mermaids are a winner in our home!
The first thing that I noticed that I didn't like about the mermaid set was the tiny accessories. They are extremely cute and a good idea for a child's imagination, but they are just so small that within the first day they were lost. My daughter has never been good about saving any of the accessories with any of her toys, and I have never been good about finding them. I almost wish I would have just left them attached (especially after the trying time we had just to get the accessories pulled off). Second, the little halter tops that both fairies wear are removable. As usual, my daughter pulled them off immediately and they are lost as well. This would be fine if the mermaids weren't so small, but now the little cloth halter tops are lost somewhere in one of the toy boxes (or somewhere else).

However, aside from those minor annoyances this really is a wonderful set. The pixie flower is extremely sturdy and it almost impossible to bend or break. And as tiny as these mermaids are, they are sturdy as well. As small as their little arms and fins are, these are two strong little mermaids. My daughter absolutely loves the mermaids and plays with them continuously. Every night they are put in their pixie flower, and greeted every morning. They also make a cute decoration, as the flower sits perfectly by itself. I would suggest though (if you want to keep the accessories) that parents keep a close eyes on all the tiny brushes, bottles, and mirrors. They can and will be lost by most young children.

The mermaids and flower still look new to this day and considering how much time and enjoyment my daughter has had with the mermaids, this was definitely $9.99 well spent. Although I cannot recommend some of the other Fairytopia fairies and mermaids, this one is a winner.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love the little mermaids!
I got my 4 yr old the Elina, Dahilia and two sets of pixie dolls (1 fairy & 1 mermaid). She absolutely LOVES them! She carries them around and plays mommy and baby fairies with them.We braided their hair (pony tails for the big dolls) and the hair has not gotten ratty.I recomend this set for any little girl who needs babies for her fairyies and mermaids. Not very educational, but they do prompt role playing and imagination. ... Editorial Review

Kids who love Thomas the Tank Engine may recall the fun when Henry and the Elephant came to the Island of Sodor via the Circus Train. Made of sturdy wood and plastic, this set of three cars comes with five wooden animals: an elephant, a lion, a tiger, a zebra, and a giraffe. Like all cars and engines in the system, these link together via a sturdy and reliable system of magnets. Use them as components in a whole miniature world of train-car characters, wooden tracks, and scenery based on the popular Thomas the Tank Engine book, television, and video series. This product has a lifetime warranty. --Joan DeClaire ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Fun, but can't use the pieces
This is a fun set, except the animals do not fit through any of the tunnuls. We use the open box-cars for the barels that go with another set.If you are only going to use the animals without any tunnels, which is difficult with small children (they love tunnels), its a fun set.If you set up big train configs...get something else.

4-0 out of 5 stars Lots of fun... but size is a problem!
My son recently received the Circus Train for his 2nd birthday. He was really excited to see the animals, and loves to put them in the cage cars and drive them around the track. He has been very frustrated, however, because his train can't fit through any tunnels or bridges when the animals are on board - the animals are just too tall. I think the Circus Train would be a great addition to your Thomas Wooden Railway IF you don't have the bridges or tunnels to worry about. If you do have these items in your layout, I'd suggest the Ivo Hugh zoo set instead, as it is made to fit through those low clearance areas.

3-0 out of 5 stars Ours was torn to shreds in weeks!
This tent thrilled my daughter when she was 2.Now she is nearly four and it still exists. That's about all you can say for it.In addition to other parents' complaints about it not being roomy enough and not affording any space for a small child to lay down in, I'd like to say that this tent 1) does not fold back into it's convenient-looking circular storage size ever again--when you remove it from the package and set it up, say goodbye to the promised small-sized storage AND 2)the fabric is itchy, chintzy, cheap, stuffy and hot, sheds white fiber matts, and rips terribly. My little girl stumbled through the doorway and ripped holes there, and though that could be pardonable, there are holes everywhere in this thing and I hate the sight of it.I would certainly never buy it had I known.Beyond that, I hate that she wants me to get in it with her.Not only is there no room, but no adult can continue to survive on the limited air and stuffy conditions. Now imagine, when you're not in there, how breathable and comfortable is it really. My child had more fun making castles and cottages out of large IKEA boxes with me; after a few weeks we recycled them.Cheap and much more creative fun.

5-0 out of 5 stars My 2 year old loves it!
This cute little "hideaway" tent has given my two year old hours of fun.She loves to play in it and even takes naps in it from time to time. Perfect for you Dora fan!

5-0 out of 5 stars A great addition to your Thomas collection.
I umm and aahh about spending this sort of money on a train table and playboard for my children but after doing my homework I decided this is the one I would buy.

Other train tables I have seen in stores are often wonky and seem quite unstable - and this is after they've been played on in the stores. So after seeing poorer quality tables for similar prices I decided to save up for the Thomas branded one and this single sided playboard.

Yes, it's expensive, but as with any "brand", it's the name you are paying for. If you want a Thomas collection of trains and accessories you are going to have to pay. I'm just starting our collection and am buying the "Thomas" trains and buildings, but found a compatible generic track for less than half the price. I was lucky enough to get this playboard at almost half price at a after Christmas sale. It's worth waiting for sales and price comparing.

It's beautifully painted and when used with the table frame is extremely strong (although I wouldn't recommend standing on it).

It's up to you to spend to decide if you want to spend this sort of money but I see this as something I won't ever have to replace and it's something my son can keep for his children. Toys like this will last!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great fun!
We just received this playboard a couple of days ago.My son loves it!He is almost 2 and really enjoys playing with all of his Thomas trains. This playboard makes playing more interesting. It arrived in fine condition...we didn't have the problem the other reviewer had.My son has a train table (not the Thomas one) and it fits perfectly. The playboard is a great addition to our Thomas the Tank Engine collection.

5-0 out of 5 stars Makes playing with our trains much more fun!!
We have a collection of Thomas and Brio trains and track, and use this playboard on a table that we built. While it is impossible to actually construct track that stays on "dry land" (some of the playboard scenery is rivers etc) this background scenery does add to our enjoyment of the playing with trains. The whole family (ages 1 to 30-something) enjoys constructing new layouts.

This board can easily be damaged in transit. Our second attempt was successful. I advise you to order this well before you need it.

NOTE: We've had this for 4 years or so now. The plastic coating has all peeled off. It still looks nice though and is being used by another toddler now. When we bought this, it was the only good option for playing with trains;now there are so many basic playtables that could be used for a multitude of activities (puzzles, cars, blocks) - that I would buy something more versatile rather than this train themed tabletop. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars A blast from the past returns once again
Skids is one of the lesser known characters from the original Generation 1 Transformers toy line. He had minimal apperances in the 80's cartoon and only a few moments in the comic book. It is no wonder that he seems to have been forgoten in the ranks of figures and characters that you think of when you think Transformers.

This toy is more then worthy of a reissue though and it's a shame that it was over looked as it was. The transformation is pretty good considering. The back part of the van becomes the legs , with the back wheels flipping up into a hidden area. His arms swing out and the head lifts up through the hood while the chest is the front part of the car.

It's a shame that the character never got any real use in the series as he had potential to be intersting and has a very cool toy that I think any fan will enjoy adding to their collection. A Theoretician who took the more peaceful and philosophy filled stance on the Transformers war, rather then being another grunt fighter like a lot of the characters seem to become after awhile. Even his vehicle form fits this personality well. An efficient and roomy type vehicle that your average everyday family would use.

Overall it was a great choice and a great character to add to Series VIII of the reissues. You won't be sorry adding Skids to your army and for a lot of you it may be a first time experience with this toy. He may not have had a lot of exposure but that doesn't make him any less worthy a member of the Autobot ranks. This is a must have for fans old and new, the price is mroe then reasonable and the toy more then worth it. Thanks Hasbro. This was a great choice for the next reissue.

5-0 out of 5 stars Skids saying, "Robotic insecticide?"
Skids is a different mold ,and is very welcomed as a reissue! Skids also has no diaclone twin! It's a dark blue, 2 door ,Honda Hatchback with tinted windows! The two doors ,and the back trunk all open! It's rare for a G1 Autobot car's back trunk to open! I guess Skids is the only one, that can do it! Skids is very durable transformer, with both front and back diecast! The stickers at the side doors, and back light bulb stickers all come off rather easily when you transform him! I had to trim little pieces of transparent tape to hold them stickers in place before they start peeling off more! And I just bought it today at Toysr'us! It also has a minor flaw, when you transform him into robot mode! As you stand him on a solid surface, it can't stand straight due to the wheel that can't go in all the way like the other wheel underneath his feet! So he stands leaning foward instead of straight! I was hoping that they fixed the flaw this time around, cause the older vintage one had this problem too! But I'm happy despite! I'm used to it after all this time! Hasbro,Toysr'us and Amazon keep the G1 reissues coming! Great job! Hope to see more reissues in the near future!

5-0 out of 5 stars violet beauty
This Barbie is so pretty. Just look at the sparkles and the purple/violet hair.i love this doll.you will too.

2-0 out of 5 stars The Shedding Sparkle Barbie
When I first saw Barbie Fairytopia Sparkle Fairy Barbie I must admit I thought she was quite pretty. I still think this Barbie is beautiful. She is a lavender color and her entire body glitters with sparkles. Her body is a light lavender color topped off with a darker shade of lavender for her hair. She has gorgeous little fairy wings that jut out her back. The wings are white with dark lavender swirl designs on them. Sparkle Barbie has a lavender strapless half shirt that is painted onto her body(with glitter all over it). She is also wearing an "extremely" short lavender skirt with a white train that attaches in the back. She also has a lavender flower belt, and she is topped off with, yep you guessed it, lavender slippers. Even her lipstick is "lavender". Like I said, she really is a beautiful Barbie and probably the prettiest one that I have seen in the Fairytopia collection so far.

The wings are attached by sticking them into little holes in the back of Sparkle Fairy Barbie's back. There is also a little button that you can push to make the wings flap. The skirt, train, and slippers can be removed if you must (and of course, my daughter MUST undress every Barbie that she receives).

Don't let Sparkle Barbie's good looks fool you. She is a pain! I didn't think that anything could be quite as bad as the Fairytopia Mermaid, but Mermaid has met her match! Of course Haleigh loves her and she especially loves the wings. Mommy does NOT love the wings at all. They fall off all the time and I was constantly having to put them back on over and over again. It brought back nightmares of the fin that would never stay put. Haleigh understood that I was getting frustrated so she tried to attach the wings back itself. One wing broke in half and the spoke was stuck in Sparkle Barbie's back. I then heard screams and cries for days on end about how Barbie is now broken. When the wings were actually intact, it was impossible for my daughter to make the wings flap. Even when my husband or I flapped the wings for her, they only half way flapped and consistently got stuck.

Second, the glitter that is supposed to stay on Barbie and no one else simply does not stay put. Sparkle Barbie has shed glitter everywhere. If anyone has had experience with glitter, then you know it's not the easiest thing to clean up being so small. There was not a large amount of glitter shed, but enough for me to really dislike this Barbie.

The only good things that I can say about Barbie Fairytopia Lavender Sparkle Fairy Barbie is that the rest of her body is pretty durable. Even though she sheds glitter, the painted on shirt has not faded and her arms and legs are still in working order.

4-0 out of 5 stars a great doll - but not for kids
I am a teenage girl collecting barbie dolls, and occasionally I play with them. I recently added this doll to my collection. I really love her, since she's gorgeous and the glitter doesn't come off (which is often a problem with glitter toys).

However, if your child is between the ages of 3 and 10, this might not be the right purchase for them. As a 'mature' collector I am always very careful with my dolls, but I'm sure you know that children often aren't. Since the wings are very fragile and will easily break, they're not really fit for children to play with.

I think that overall it's a wonderful doll, but children will need to be careful with it and that's not always an easy task while playing. ... Read more

Editorial Review

There are few toys quite as fun as that old standby, the pretend cash register. But as anyone who’s been in a grocery store in the last few years can tell you, the technology has changed a little bit. Gone are the days of punching in each individual price by hand, replaced by high-tech scanners and coding. Fortunately, Barbie rolls with the punches, unveiling this souped-up shopping cart, brimming with products, and scanning system for any kid looking to play grocery store in a more realistic way. 24 pieces of pretend food are included, with a heavy emphasis on snacks like popsicles and cookies, along with a small scanning station. Other shopping items, featured in a flip-book catalog, are also able to be scanned using a special electronic pen. This kit may lack the satisfying clunking sounds of the old fashioned toy cash register, and the American Express co-branding seems to be a bit of unfortunate marketing that does little to enhance the fun, but the use of modern shopping gadgetry will likely be a hit with kids. --Charlie Williams ... 5-0 out of 5 stars The best toy for my 5 year old daughter!
On December 4th, my daughters birthday I bought her the Barbie scan and play shoping cart. For the whole day she could not stop playing with it. When I called her for dinner she would not leave it alone. I want to assure you that this toy is both educational and fun for you and your child. My girl can now add and partly subtract and she knows what to do when she goes to the store she can tell me how to pay and she knows how to count money. This toy is absolutly incridable!

3-0 out of 5 stars Too high priced
My 4 year old daughter received this for Christmas this year.Like the other reviewers, we found it frustrating.Everytime she looks for an item on the shopping list, it shuts off before she's through. It is very durable but is hard to push on the carpet. She never uses the scanner because you have to do it exactly right for it to work. I think she was a little dissapointed that it doesn't have a place for her doll to sit. It was not worth $70.

4-0 out of 5 stars The Good and Bad for a 6 year old.
Bought this for my just turned 6 year old.The first one had to be replaced as it kept going back to the demo mode by itself. With the first one, though, the scanner seemed to work most of the time (when not in demo mode).Got the replacement and everything seems to work with the exception of the scanner.I can't get the scanner to work more than once out of every 10 or so scans.I think for the price, the scanner should work at all times.

Besides the scanner, my child seems to love the toy.She likes to shop via the "shopping list" feature. At first, the 90 second automatic turn-off feature of the toy was somewhat of a problem, but after a bit, this ceases to be a problem with her.I could see where this would be a problem with younger children. But, the cart and food products are so durable, that a younger child could play rough with it and I think it would still survive and "grow" with your child.

Overall, my child is really enjoying this toy and there is educational value in it.Also, because of the 90 automatic turn off feature, it does make her pay attention and stay focused while playing.I think at it's price and it's association with Barbie that one should expect all parts to work at all times, but apparently there is a problem with at least some scanners with this toy.

4-0 out of 5 stars More than meets the eye
Personaly I enjoy G1 Transformers toys, but I don't know who Ricohet is. It looks like Jazz with a different paint scheme.that name for the Autobothas never been used in the whole history of Transformers, but I guessoverall it is a good Transformers toy,It might be something I might buy,but if Hasbro is going to continue the G1 line, then they need to get the names right with the cars,or not try to make up a new Transformer that does not exist

4-0 out of 5 stars Great!.......But....
I have purchased the Lattest G1 reissue "Ricochet" and I have to say that it probably looks better than all the autobot cars that have been reissued to date.... even better than his "Jazz" counterpart. The body, metal and modes are excelent. The colors are very neat., (Black on gold is always a winner. But there is something that bothers me and im pretty sure bothers many transformers fans about HASBROS G1 reissues.:
Ricochet was not part of our original 80;s collection. Even though I love the toy and he looks great in my display case, there are so many transformers that us overgrown kids want to see and purchase. What about the Dinobots? There definetly a top seller... Merge groups??? What happened to them??? are you going to reissue them as well????? I just really hope that my new transformer collection doesnt end here and I am getting particulary worried that I havent seen Sideswipe around.... Whats going on????? are our favorite toys not giving you good sales???? I hope not..... Please try to keep us informed of what your plans for the future of Cybertron are.......Matt

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent addition to the Reissue Collection
Ricochet, originally released in Japan as Stepper is an absolutely AMAZING figure.Basically, Ricochet is a re-colorization of G1 Jazz, with the same amount of die cast used in this figure.Ricochet, however has so much more. This figure has a rear peghole in his vehicle mode, where he is able to attach Nightstick, his partner Targetmaster.

Ricochet is also able to attach Nightstick to his shoulder in robot mode, via an adapter piece.

Each of the parts that comes with Ricochet is interchangable with Jazz, adding more play value to the figure.

Whether you are a collector and intend to leave the figure MISP or if you enjoy playing with the G1 figures, this is the toy for you.I highly recommend this figure. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars To those who've had problems with this product....
To those who have complained about leaks, you must not know that Learning Curve guarantees all of the Thomas products for life.Just contact them and they will replace the piece.Even if your child snaps a piece of track in half or whatever.Their customer service is great.

5-0 out of 5 stars What A Neat Addition To The Thomas Line!
These trains came securely package from Amazon, and my 5 year old son loves them!

He's had them for 4 months, and no sign of leakage. (And believe me, he's rough on them! He stores his trains in a Thomas backpack, so they are jostled around with wooden and die-cast trains.)

The pale blue liquid is clear enough to see the pink octopus and gray shark, and the plastic encasement is very thick.

What a fun addition to the Thomas line, especially if your child has the "Down At The Docks" picture book that these trains are based upon.

1-0 out of 5 stars It's a little leaky
These trains are very neat and my sons loved them when we first got them. They each have been through two sets with the same result...the water leaks out after you've had them awhile. They are not worth the money.I highly recommend investing in another train instead of the aquarium cars. This was the first time my guys have been disappointed with a Thomas product. ... Attention! The rare and powerful Pokemon called Pikachu desperately wants a playmate. Squeeze its paws and watch its ears wiggle, its mouth move, and its red cheeks light up. And listen to a cute voice saying (over and over, with variations in emphasis and intonation), "Pika-Pika-Pikachu!" The more you play, the more excited this furry yellow fellow gets. Fans of the Pokemon phenomenon will definitely want to get their own paws on plush Pikachu, who measures 8 inches from ear tips to toes. Requires three AA batteries (included). --Emilie Coulter ... 5-0 out of 5 stars the best friend you could have.
this pikachu is the best. he talks and his mouth moves. so do his ears. he is just the cutest thing i have ever seen. i give him a 100 gold star rating.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun Toy
This toy is not meant for young children who like to be very rough with their toys (throwing, stomping, etc.). It is very cute. It is good to hug when you are sad, lonely, etc. I am 9-years-old and my Mom is typing this for me.

5-0 out of 5 stars Cool toy
I picked this up for my 22 month old son on clearence for $7.50 at a KB toy store in our mall.He loves it.Plays with it everyday.Thank goodness for the 3 different volume settings because he takes it everywhere.I think it was the best $7.40 I ever spent. He has been a little slow on his talking but this has him singing the words all day.I have to admit that the on and off switch is a bit frustrating for him because of it's location. But he is learning to deal with it.

2-0 out of 5 stars on/off button is a turn off!!!
My 17 month old loves the Wiggles, so I thought the microphone would be perfect. But whoever designed this toy really wasn't thinking and I can't believe it made it to the assembly line this way.The ON/OFF botton is right where you hold it. My daughter is consently turning it off by accident and gets very frustrated. I will say it is durable, she has thrown it a million times and it has held up. I also bought her the guitar, I would give that 5 stars and suggest it instead of the microphone.

5-0 out of 5 stars fun, fun,fun!!!!!
We just got this toy for my son, who is 16 months old. It was on Clearance at Walmart, for only 7 bucks so I thought why not? I am SO happy I purchased it I would have paid full price in a heart beat. I agree with some other reviews that the "pattern" for the buttons can be a little tricky, but my son loves it. There are several songs in it and you can either sing along with it, not sing at all or sing without the songs. And for the parents sake, there is 3 volume controls!!! Love that one.
Overall is a great toy, and it stands on its own too. A great buy for lots of fun. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Frighteningly high above a deep ravine, Thomas the Tank Engine peers over the edge, wondering how he will get to the station on time. He's saved only by the immediate construction of a bridge that gets him clickity-clacking across in no time. The Reverend W. Awdry created the Island of Sodor as a place for childhood imagination to run free with his Thomas the Tank Engine series of books. The Sodor Bay Bridge expands opportunities for dreaming and connects to any of the tracks from the Thomas Wooden Railway System. Two train trestle bridges connect to span 25 inches. Manufactured by high-quality toy maker Learning Curve, the bridge is sturdily made of wood with blue plastic supports to endure years of adventurous play. --Lynne Sampson ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Bay bridge is a must
Starting around age 2 the "World of Thomas" and his train friends became the biggest part of my son's days of play. If you are as deep into Thomas as my family is then the Sodor Bay Bridge is a must have. Hours and hours are spend pushing the toy trains over and under the bridge. Your first three starter purchases should be the trains, the tracks and then this bridge.Good Luck it is an expensive "world" your getting into!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars I LOVED it ... and so did my nephew
I ordered the bridge and then read the review that said the bridge didn't come with the ascending tracks. My trip to a local independent toy store confirmed the review. After purchasing additional tracks ... and driving 4 hours so that the tracks would make it in time for his 3rd birthday, he opened the box and I shocked to see the tracks he needed to connect the bridge to the rest of his set.I guess the manufacturer has addressed this issue....

I played with it (the bridge, figure 8 set with battery powered engine, and additional tracks) for a good hour before realizing I was enjoying it more than him!The tracks are extremely durable. My nephew and his brother and sister all loved it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Love this, but . . .
I bought this accessory for my 2-year-old son Sam, and he loves everything about it except the fact that there is not quite enough top clearance for trains to pass underneath -- You have to set the spans on blocks for that. I also agree that the set should include the ascending track, or at least anotice that it's sold separately. ... Read more

Girls can reenact the most romantic part of the movie Barbie as Rapunzel with this horse and carriage play set. The carriage carries figures of Rapunzel (as played by Barbie) and the prince (both sold separately) away from the tower the princess has been locked away in for years. The carriage is every girl's fantasy, with a plush purple seat, pink roses traveling up the sides and back, and glittery blue heart-shaped hubs covering the wheel spokes. The gorgeous pink horse has a long, blonde, silky mane, not unlike that of Barbie herself, and an ornate purple bridle, halter, and reins. The horse comes wearing a bejeweled tiara with matching clips in her mane that girls can wear in their own hair. --Cristina Vaamonde ... Read more
