HUGE waste of money
My6 year-old daughter received this as a Christmas gift and was very excited about using it. We quickly realized that it was too complicated for her.Even with an adult using it, the machine jammed up on the second use.My husband was able to get it unjammed and it immediately jammed up again. After several repetitions of this,I found myself wishing it had come with a receipt.I would most certainly not spend $40 on this machine.

Great Gift for Girls!
My 6-year old daughter and I have spent many quality hours together with this adorable sewing machine. I know very little about sewing, but we have been able to make bags, pajamas, and a sleeping bag fairly easily! I have been impressed with the simplicity and durability of the machine. The only difficulty we've had is that the thread breaks now and then while sewing but is no big deal to fix. This is the gift my daughter has used more than any other!

this was a fun toy at first. My daughter was very excited to use it and make fun crafts. but after the first couple of stiches everything got jumbled up and nothing worked. we finally got the thread untangled but after that it just didnt work. my daughter was very disapointed. and now the $50 that we payed for a barbie sewing machine is sitting in our closet, broken. It may be fun for younger children, as a pretend sewing machine, but if u really want to learn, dont get your hopes up with this toy!

This pink FM radio, inspired by Barbie, easily attaches to the handlebar of any kids' bike and detaches if walking to the beat--instead of peddling to it--is preferable. Its features include an adjustable volume control, digital channel scanning, on/off dial, reset button, and one small speaker that's camouflaged as a flower. The sound is not stereo quality, of course, but it's more than adequate within 10 feet of the unit. Music can be distracting to a bike-riding kid, especially if she wants to change the channel, so grown-ups should go over safety precautions such as coming to a complete stop before making any adjustments. Okay
I got this toy and after a while the head started coming off. Later the head just fell off all together. The durablity is not that good.

My daughter loves this!
My 6 year got this for Christmas last year and she still plays with it often.Unlike the the Barbie Primp and Polish styling head (I've read the bad reviews), this head has durable, easy to comb hair.It seems as if the hair has some kind of coating on it to keep it straight and silky.I've only had to untangle the hair once because she got a bow twisted in it.Other than that, we have no complaints.Maybe they should use the My Scene hair on all of their styling heads.

A good start to a real one.
My three old daughter, received this on Christmas from her grandmom.She enjoys putting in the pretend cds and pressing the play bottom.She feels she has her own cd player.The music is soft.It's great for a little girl who enjoys Barbie.

An excellent toy
I think this toy is an excellent choice for kids, the dolls don't dress skanky and they are worth buying with all the extra accessories you get. I encourage any one of any age to try this doll out, it would be a great gift and its very lovely. I don't like Bratz, Bratz is just a sorry excuse of a doll, those dolls feet are HUGE! And there clothes are disgusting, they encourage little girls to start flirting and dating at a young age, my Scene shows girls dating at 16, which is appropriate. If your thinking of getting someone a doll, I would choose "my scene". You won't be disappointed! :)

First of to the writer , !!!!, please stop. I am so sick and tired of the My-scene/Bratz haters. Sheesh you people are just plan stupid to argue about such a dumb thing as pieces of plastic! P.s. What's really freaky is a doll with removable feet -_-

Day to Night Barbie is a beautiful doll. I love her hairstyle and sweatshirt. The pants are cool, and the shoes rock! I don't really like the hat that goes with her other outfit but, all in all it is a cute outfit. This doll rocks!

Really pretty doll... like it!!
Summer is a gorgeous doll. Her hair is unlike any other barbie hair i have felt before: it is fine and silky. It is also crimped, and streaked with copper, and very shiny. Her face is very pretty and realistic. Her clothes I also like. She comes with a khaki halter top with a hawaiian flower applique on it, stone coloured shorts which come to just below her knees, and a really cool cream cardi with nice knitted detail which doesn't come up in the Amazon photo. She also wears green slip-on sneakers.
The ear-piercing idea is a good one in my opinion, and it has been carried out well. The ear piercer is simple to use and she comes with a vast assortment of earrings, both studa and dangles. The reason I give this product a 4 for durability is because the earrings themselves are thin plastic and coould snap if roughly handled. They sometimes bend a little when pushing them into the piercer, but if careful, you can easily avoid them breaking.
Summer also comes with a sturdy plastic stool as pictured. All in all this is a great doll and really fun. She also has the newer body structure which was first featured in the 'Jewel girl' barbies.

Too hard to pierce
My daughter is 5 and was ecstatic to get this doll.There was NO WAY she could pierce this doll's ears herself- it took me 25 minutes to do it. My daughter lost interest in the process. Cali girl is cool but the ear piercing is not! ... Read more
