They made Barbie a tv character she's a doll not Wonder Woman I want the old Barbie not the new Barbie.I like some of the new Barbies some of the new dolls not just Barbie dolls I love My Scene dolls but I don't like bratz dolls.

Wonderful Wonder Woman Doll!
I bought 2 of these dolls from Amazon this year and I love them dearly! I left one in it's box and the other I took out. I have almost all of the dolls except Supergirl. I don't even think i'll get her. I wish she looked more like the original Supergirl.I love Wonder Woman's costume, very authentic to the comic books and resembles quite a bit the tv series. I just love it! I always wanted the Barbie Wonder Woman version from 1999 but I missed out and now they want a lot of dollars for her. Thank God Mattel re-did her again and now I have her! The only gripe I have is that her hair should be mountainous ala Poisin Ivy or the original 1999 version. But other than that she's beautiful! Go buy one now!

A Barbie Set for the rest of us
I have all the DC Comics Barbies (except the very expensive Catwoman), and I've been impressed with the detail to their costumes.I do NOT like the bendy bodies, though, so I've customized all mine using the articulated bodies from Western Barbies, turning them into more of an action figure.Mattel would do well to start making most of their Barbies with these bodies, which have fully articulated arms, legs and waists.Overall, these are not bad figures, and it would be great if Mattel made some more of DC's female heroes and villains.(In the meantime, I've got plans to make my own Black Canary and Zatanna... Of course it's not educational!
But that's why we play with dolls - to get away from school life and tension.Now, this doll CANNOT be a role model, because Mattel hasn't given her a plastic 'life' in the form of media or books.I like her! She doesn't have that gaudy grin on her face nor a snobby look like Bratz and My Scene.Know why she's great?She's got cool stuff that comes with her.She looks like a real person, NOT A MONKEY!These dolls are NOT - I repeat - NOT a rip-off to Bratz like My scene was, because Hilary duff designed them, and Hilary Duff DID NOT rip-off of anyone (and when you think about it, Bratz themselves are a rip-off to real stars like Hilary Duff, because she was here long before any of them).

This is my favorite fairy Barbie I've seen so far!Everything about her is PERFECT!From the gorgeous colors of her outfit to the flowers in her hair, she's total magic.I love the unique shape of her wings and the many layers of her fluffy tutu.Her rooted eyelashes and glittery eyeshadow enphasize her lovely face.I love her unique eyebrows too.She's more than worth the price and one of the most beautiful, unique Barbies I've ever seen!

Sparked an interest in ballet
I was paying my little cousin a surprise visit, and I decided to get her a quick present.This was the cheapest doll on the shelf, so I bought her.And it sparked an interest in ballet in my cousin, and she is now signing up for classes.Thank you, Mattel!

Not Bad at All!
Fun - Yeah, I'd make her dance.


Educational -

Pros - She encourages young girls to do ballet, or at least make SOMETHING of life instead of become just obsessed with fashion.And since Mattel doesn't provide too many accessories with her, young girls may create their own clothes for her - develop their creativity.

Cons - Her body is totally unrealistic - ever read the tale of the girl who had plastic surgery to look like her?


Durable - Yeah; her head doesn't pop off like THAT, her hair is easy to maintain, not falling out, and she doesn't come with so many accessories that get lost.


Personally, I prefer it that her legs are pink.Then she doesn't lok so naked when you take her clothes of - she looks like she's wearing stockings.

Bratz are the top fashions queens in the world today! I LOVE them! I have a TON of them! I USED to like My Scene, but then i discovered their pure ugliness! Don't buy My Scene, because they are a copy of the beautiful, wonderful and creative Bratz dolls! My Scene dolls are U-G-L-Y! The Bratz dolls are actually pretty and have neat themes! And when I went to look on bratz reviews, I didn't see 1 bad review saying that bratz stunk and my scene were better. Magical playset - the best idea Barbie has created!
This set is really spectacular! Finally something truly different, and they have put so much magical fun into this pretty playset. It is one of my 6-yr-olds favorite gifts this year, and you really get a lot of play value for 30 bucks! The set is gorgeous, and the plastic is heavy not cheap flimsy stuff. For added value, the Polly Pockets play nicely in this set, too!

Like all Barbie items, it takes a LONG time to get it out of the box (have wire cutters, scissors, and patience handy!) Once it is out, assembly is pretty simple (a few easily placed stickers and a few pieces to snap on). It is worth the effort, there is so much to do with this set! Be careful with the 'flying' aspect though, we found that the little fairie and pixie dolls will fly right off unless you have a full-size Barbie flying along to slow down the spin! That is really the only negative we have found. I can't see much 'educational' value, like most Barbie items, unless you count the use of imagination! But Barbie isn't intended to be an educational toy. (Had to rate that aspect anyway, so gave a 3.)

I also HIGHLY recommend the Petal Fairies sets to go with this -- the flower seats are very well made and so beautiful! (The Polly Pockets also fit perfectly in those. My daughter uses her Mermaid Polly in a flower seat all of the time.) The Wonder Fairies (full-sized Barbies) are also gorgeous, with rooted eyelashes and pretty wings that flutter! My daughter thinks they are the prettiest of all of the Barbies. You can remove the wings and use them as regular Barbies, too.

We are really looking forward to seeing the DVD when it releases this spring! We recommend this entire Fairytopia toy line!

I wish this was around when I was a kid!
Santa brought this to my 4 year old daughter and she loves it!She does not have any problems with it.She is able to place the fairies on the flying devise without any problems.She has played with this thing constantly since she has received it!

Beautiful but difficult
It is rated for ages 3 and up but I would't get it for anyone under 6 because there are a lot of small pieces.It is also a major pain to put together.Once it's set up however, it is quite pretty and there are lots of activities to do with your faeries. ... Read more

Tack

The tack which comes with this horse is also the best I have seen in Barbie toy horses. The bridle is plastic and fairly ordinary, but the reins are actual fabric- faux leather- which is a nice touch. The reins come tightly curled in a coil and tend to want to curl up but it is easy to fix this- just place them straightened underneath a heavy book for at least one day and they are fine. The saddle I love. It is a western saddle, ornately decorated and with great attention to detail. The saddle pad is a simple blue fabric square. The saddle bags are also nice. The pockets really open and have velcro to securely close them, and you can store the beads in them. They are also decorated with decorative stitching, again showing attention to detail. The blue blanket shown rolled up on the saddle bags is secured there by two pieces of elastic, and can be taken out and unrolled. It unrolls to be around the size of the saddle pad.

One more thing- the box this horse comes in is not shown in any of the Amazon pictures, but should be, as the inside part (the part which slides out) is made out of sturdy cardboard and is made to look like a stable. It has slatted gates for stable doors which swing open and closed, and the inside is designed to look like a stable, from the 'hay' on the floor to the photos 'stuck' to the walls. It also has a huge window thing at the back of the stable which is covered with a piece of translucent plastic, which shows a scene of the beach. It looks as if you are looking out of the stable onto a beach. It is really nice. It is not very deep, probably about 20 or so centimetres (8 inches), but has generous height and width.
This is a really cool toy and I really enjoy having it. Recommended!

If you love horses this is the toy for you. This horse toy is the best toy horse you could every buy! They can bend there legs and they even have Saddle Bags.

The crappiest toy I have ever bought for my little sister.
As soon as she opened it the head fell off and the motorcycle had no handles on it.Even when we superglued the items back on other items fell off like her hair and also her clothes ripped.All of this happened and she only touched it once.I HAVE WARNED PARENTS NOT TO BUY THIS ITEM FOR THIER CHILDREN AND I SUGGEST THAT YOU DO THE SAME.

Barbie Batgirl is Toy Perfection!
This drool inducing Barbie doll is a must for Batgirl and Barbie collectors alike! Whether you're a fan of the newer, WB animated version of DC comics' hottest heroine (well, equal with Supergirl, anyway), or prefer the 1960's series Batgirl or Filmation's cartoon version,you'll find this doll a perfect blend of all three. But in the meantime, this doll makes a great display piece within the lovely box. Still, I hear she's also great for playtime, well made and more articulated than the usual Barbie doll, with a cycle that's equally fun. Barbie Batgirl is also available without the Toys R Us exclusive Cycle, but for the real fans, this is the only way to go! Now, I just hope I can get the Supergirl doll before they're all gone, along with Wonder Woman and the gorgeous new addition, Poison Ivy!

One Of My All Time Top Favorites.
My husband purchased this doll for me for Christmas. He is a real stunner. They did a great job making him look just like the character in the movies. He is one of the few I display out in my living room. This is one I will keep forever.

Wow.
I received Ken as Legolas for Christmas after I (on a whim) placed it on my Wish List.I have the first two Toy Biz action figures (blah, but cool) still in their boxes, but I never found the third so this was my "replacement" for not having the full three movie set.When I first saw it, I was floored.It's very well crafted, yet they could have spared a little of Ken's looks for some real authenticity from the movie.Despite that, the doll is amazing.I only removed him once to examine him closely and was amazed.The stand, for those who don't know, is behind the packaging slip (background) behind him.It's really cheesy from the looks of it (I didn't open it enough to find out.)The box is a much better display case for him.You can't complain; it's worth the money especially for a fan.

Let me help you with some INFORMATION...
My 3- and 5-year-old daughters have such fun practicing kindness and family life with this house and I haven't even put the batteries in it yet! Even their 7-year-old brother plays along with them! The "Uptown Dollhouse" is too urban and not meant for a family. HERE ARE SOME THINGS I WISH I WOULD HAVE KNOWN WHEN SHOPPING: At our local Toys R Us, this COMES TWO WAYS, with two prices. You either got 3 toddlers or paid $10 more for a Dad, Mom, Toddler girl and baby girl instead. You could see the dolls through a window in the box. It is so worth it to get the family! You can pay $10 just for Alan (who comes with a stroller with little Ryan), but they were not in stock online and rarely found in a store. Otherwise, you have to get a groom or a Cali guy, neither of which are dressed like a dad. I couldn't find men's clothes in the store either. Also, the BED is big enough for Dad and Mom. It just looks small on the picture. COMMENTS TO THE MANUFACTURER: All the TINY PIECES are thoughtful, but overwhelming. And with one bump, you're setting the table...again! Try placemats that have a plate and utensils printed on them. Then the child can still feel she's "setting the table". That should cut your (and our) costs! Plus, the plates continually fall out of their slots above the sink. The baby does NOT FIT into the bassinett, her diapers do NOT FIT her and the food pictures do NOT FIT snugly into the fridge - they continually fall out. Yes, the house does fall over easily. We could set it next to a wall, but then they can't play in its back yard. Other than those details which should be easy to rectify, I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS HOUSE!! It folds up so smart, too! There's so much to do! Thanks!

MY DAUGHTER LOVES THIS DOLLHOUSE. SHE WROTE AN REPORT FOR SCHOOL AND TOLD HOW THE DOLLHOUSE GAVE HER AN INSIGHT TO FAMILY LIFE. EVEN THOUGH THE HOUSE MAY FALL WHEN ITS NOT SET UP RIGHT. "Delancey" is a '60s genie at the "My Scene" masquerade ball, but her outfit is as trendy as those worn by young fashion exemplars today. She's more precocious than the fourth-grade "fashionistas" who love her ("My Scene" fashions are a bit daring for some parental tastes), but she pulls off the see-through, aqua-colored costume, very high heels, flirty headdress, tons of makeup, and huge ponytail without a hitch. But under all the mascara, the 12-inch Delancey is still just a kid. Nice collection from My Scene
I ordered this doll about a week ago and i went and picked it up today. The doll is absolutly gorgeous. She has light blonde hair w/ redish/brown streeks, aqua blue eyes, long, beautiful [real] eyelashes, a mole on her cheek, light pink lip gloss and dark red lip linner. I absolutly love the light pink sash that goes around Delancey's head. The outfit is absolutly fantastic. The doll is very durable; great to collect.


The DVD:
Masquerade Madness was a pretty good movie; but the animation was a bit cheap. Chelsea sounded a bit weird [in the movie] and Delancey acted really weird.

FUN: 4/5 stars- because she is fun for kids and great for collectors!!
educational value: 2/5 stars- although it teaches you a few things (ex. the DVD teaches you to help animals and to ask for help whenever you need it) this is pretty much just a movie to entertain young audiances.
DURABILITY: 5/5 stars- because this is a very durable doll!

Delancey has been my favorite My Scene character scince FOREVER so when i saw this doll i knew i just had to order it! I just love Delanceys hair, it is light blonde with brown streeks, i loove her long, dark eye lashes, and the make up is GREAT.

Gracie loves it!
my almost 4 year old daughter Gracie, just received the kitchen last week and absolutely loves it.My husband assembled it, he said the instructions were very easy and clear.the only problem is that in the packaging of the item, a small plastic piece was broken off, the piece that makes the oven door click shut.Now that the item is out of stock, we have to wait to have the kitchen replaced with a new one in perfect condition.Gracie is unaffected by this though, she loves it, loves all the accessories. It's really a cute, big-girl kitchen for any Barbie fan.

Brittney loves her Barbie kitchen!!!!!!!!!
This was one of my almost 3 daughters christmas gifts. It took awhile to put together, I had a rough time with one screw because it was very difficult to maneuver the screwdrive in that particular part, otherwise it went smoothly. My daughter loves the fact that"Barbie just calls her out of the blue", she plays with it and sits down for a snack or something and all of a sudden it is Barbie on the phone. She just had her birthday and it was fun for her to hear Barbie "telling her how much she likes birthday parties. Santa had his heart set on the disney kitchen, but is was out of stock, but we are pretty satisfied with his choice and most of all so is Brittney.

Not the best kitchen
I bought this toy for my almost 4-year old and 2-year old daughters. They wanted it so bad for Christmas, but hasn't been played with very much. It has a lot of screws and took a long time to put together...some of the screws were very difficult to get in, both because of tightness and because you can't manuever your hand and screwdriver around the toy itself. Once it was all together, it looked great, but the refrigerator doesn't exactly close right. Also, the sink comes out because it is not screwed down and doesn't snap in. I'm also just waiting for it to fall over, because it isn't very heavy, and I've seen it tip several times while my girls played with it. The food pieces are very sturdy plastic, but there aren't enough pieces. I think we'll end up using food from other toys that we have, just so there's enough to go around! There are only 2 plates and 2 cups, along with 2 sets of forks and spoons. Once my 3rd daughter grows up, I'm afraid she'll be left out! ... Read more

Barbie Lover's Mom
I bought this for my daughter's 4th birthday and at first sight she loved it!She is always trying to get my car keys and cell phone, so this seemed to be the perfect gift.She can't seem to put it down, and takes it everywhere we go.The only thing that I don't like is that the purse is see through plastic, and doesn't have a fastener to keep everything from falling out - which often happens.I would still recommend it as a great gift for Barbie lovers, and those very fashionable little girls who love to look like Mommy.

MORE BARBIE FUN!!
I purchased this toy as a Christmas gift for my 5-yr-old...but my 3-yr-old appreciated them so much more.Really cute to see her all dressed up with the Barbie sunglasses, and carrying a purse.It's really a riot; the keys makes noises when you push a button exactly the way a real car alarm would.

This doll is seriously gross. The clothes are so slutty and ugly. I am a Barbie fan and wouldn't recomend this.

Not worth the money
My daughter recieved this for Christemas. She is 5. She also has the playset from the fairytopia line. What a waste of money. The wings always fall off and the way they clip on makes it impossible to put other clothes on the doll. The other day she took off the clothes and put them on another barbie. Don't waste your 17.99.
